#WB Election 2021

Note
sorry if this is a dumb question and i understand if you don't want to answer but do you have links to posts explaining why israel isn't an apartheid state? i swear i read posts like that on your blog before but i don't know how to refind them
Israeli Arabs have legal equality with Jews. Same restaurants, same pools, same seats on the bus, same voting rights. I would favorably compare the treatment of Israeli Arabs with that of any minority group in any country on Earth.
The West Bank has a military occupation, with (pretty fast) checkpoints and no right to vote about the government running that military. Military occupations are bad and some of us have been against this particular one for decades. The anti-occupation movement hasn't gotten anywhere, they've just been stuck. Being stuck in a military occupation for X more years doesn't make it apartheid, just like being stuck in a bad marriage for X more years doesn't make you divorced. Meanwhile, the 2020 Abraham Accords showed that multiple Arab states were willing to accept this unchanging status quo and deal with Israel as it is. Those two factors - the stagnant, unchanging nature of the occupation, and the clear loss of interest in the Palestinian cause - combined to have the latest crop of awareness-raising college interns at some shifty NGOs try to force change by abracadabra'ing together a new concept of "apartheid" that exists solely for Israel. And it is working, just like "Christ-killer" and "stabbed Germany in the back" worked.
In 2010, Human Rights Watch published an extremely critical report on Israel's occupation of the West Bank. Dragged them up one wall and down the other. Yet there was no accusation of "apartheid" there. In the report, page 33, they cited a lawsuit by the Association for Civil Rights in Israel that had said it was apartheid for the West Bank military occupation authorities to ban Palestinians from driving on Highway 443 after repeated firebombings / shootings against Israelis. The Israeli High Court ruled that it was inappropriate to ban Palestinians from the road, and it re-established their equal driving access - they have had it ever since. The court also said that the accusation of apartheid behind that now-ended ban was dishonest, because the security concerns were not based on race; there were and are no "Jewish-only" roads anywhere, even when WB Palestinians were denied road access, Israeli Arabs could and did drive there. The HRW 2010 report included a long summary of that finding, without challenge. As bad as they saw Israel, they agreed it wasn't apartheid.
Then in 2020 came the Abraham Accords, so while nothing at all had changed in the administration of the West Bank, in 2021 HRW said it actually was apartheid. It really is that simple. The most famous legal convention banning apartheid specifies that it is race-based. HRW instead went with a different legal convention on apartheid, one that says it could be based on national origin if it involves discrimination among citizens of the same country.... and then they up and added their own twist to that, saying they will consider it apartheid if there is discrimination based on national origin AMONG PEOPLE WHO AREN'T CITIZENS OF THE SAME COUNTRY. In a very real sense, HRW declared Mexico is an apartheid state because Americans can't vote in its elections.
In 2022, Amnesty International followed with their own report, saying that not only was the military occupation now "apartheid," but that Israel itself had been an apartheid state ever since it was established in 1948. This moral perversion had the effect of saying Israel literally INVENTED apartheid since in May 1948 it didn't even exist in South Africa yet. It also said that Amnesty International - founded 1961 - had been looking at an apartheid the whole time but never recognized it. To make things even more dishonest, Amnesty said they "are not claiming Israeli conditions are analogous to South Africa," meaning anything that shows how Israel is different from South Africa doesn't count. They're using the South African word for the South African policy but it's actually not like South Africa at all so be quiet, neener neener no backsies.
I shouldn't have to take that seriously. Neither should anyone. Palestinians and their advocates should be ashamed to have to lean on such an obvious bad-faith lie.
Nelson Mandela, who died in 2013, never once accused Israel of apartheid, and instead repeatedly said he supported Zionism and a 2-state solution. Mandela's lawyer, still alive, says the accusation is a lie. Mansour Abbas, leader of the Arab Islamist party that joined Israel's governing coalition in 2021, says the accusation is a lie. And if people want to bandy around NGO business cards, here is the International Committee of the Red Cross in 2017:
“The Red Cross was very familiar with the regime that prevailed in South Africa during the apartheid period, and we are responding to all those who raise their claim of apartheid against Israel: No, there is no apartheid here, no regime of superiority of race, of denial of basic human rights to a group of people because of their alleged racial inferiority. There is a bloody national conflict, whose most prominent and tragic characteristic is its continuation over the years, decades-long, and there is a state of occupation. Not apartheid.”
There's a lot more you can see about the shifty terminology, unreliable sourcing, and longstanding culture of antisemitism and racism within Amnesty International. People who can cite chapter and verse of why the Salvation Army, Autism Speaks, Chik-Fil-A and Harry Potter are problematic should not be shocked.

Some of BadEmpanada's videos on genocide are rather good jumping off points to deal with these very charged discussions on genocide, racial discrimination, assimilation, etc. in leftist spaces, especially when the topic of propaganda comes up as well.
(I edited the cited source links in the videos' descriptions so they work now / are more accessible / books & research papers can be read beyond the title name.) (If a sci-hub link doesn't work anymore in the future, search a new sci-hub mirror site that still works, and paste the provided DOI number into the site's search bar.)

I am very proud to be an international 鸟蛋 for the most part。We fly our colors in private and don't go dancing to people's official accounts. Now, having see the US election, I'm still not convinced that there are that many real people dancing on 30's wb. I mean it just screams bot to me, but it is a giant country and that cpfandom is well over 400,000. Please level-headed cpfans of all colors, self-enclosure is best. Bothering the artist implies one-sided love, so if you really love 30, stop the occupation.
FATED LOVE - The Faceless Man
*There could be some things lost in Google translation. I camped out in Station B, D, and even KS to watch video, read comments, and translate everything I could for you. I am not posting links, but I will provide key words you can search in Mandarin on Staion B (Bilibili).
Bird Eggs are the most romantic folx in my opinion. When I said there are many posts on station B that make you believe in this cp's destiny, I'm talking about dozens of posts and threads. If you are coming here, you probably have seen the video detailing some of the history of 88 and 30's acquaintance in the C-entertainment circle. While it is perfectly okay for young people to like older people; older people liking younger people and acting on it is another thing when they are not of age. Getting to know each other is not a big deal. Eventually 30 comes (sort of) of age - which he announced in an awards speech - at age 18. From that point, I can start seeing him more as a man. He was more or less a man at this point and 20 when filming TLB, so for me I only look seriously at the time of filming TLB. Most Bird Eggs think 2021 summer showed a transition in the cp from curiosity to potentially a ship. Please note the age a person can marry in China is 22, so Chinese ideas of maturity might differ from your home country. AGAIN, this is pure speculation and born of the fantasy that is the Bird Egg cp.
I will share the speculations and creations of Bird Eggs that really spoke to me and are not easy to find in English.
Fateful Coincidence 1: The Faceless Man
Some time ago, 88 was on her second variety show semi-permanent resident stint with a bunch of kind older boys. As far as I know there were no controversies, please correct me if I'm wrong. They did a lot of rather personal probing in the show and featured a "specialist" "expert" - dubious this guy - who interviewed all the people on the show about the stress in their life, past experiences, and things that they would like to happen in the future. Honestly, it was so irresponsible as you never know who has a trauma history which is why you gather much more information about a client before even starting a therapy. So, he makes 88 draw a scene and he does what every bad psychologist does: makes an assumption. Here, she must want a protector in her life.
The photo above is a well-known character from Spirited Away that she drew to protect the little girl (presumably 88) from stormy weather. The Mandarin translation of the character's name is 无脸男 wu2lian3nan4 (The Faceless Man). The first two characters Wu Lian even have the same tones as 30! So, to hear her talk about this protector Wu Lian is really touching and romantic at first, but I beg everyone to be reasonable.
I am of the mind that 88 does not think she needs a protector (you can see it in a glance from the way she eschews male hands trying to help her up staircases in awards shows); however, I believe firmly that every person deserves security and 88 indicated 30 provides a sense of safety in the famous sweeping of the building. Here is the thing. If, and I believe this to be true, you have two highly gifted young people together with very good EQ they will understand that the Wu Lian Nan that protects the girl does not have to be a MAN! A person can feel safe secure ON THEIR OWN through their own strength and confidence. Yes, an added bonus if you can rest in the love of someone even if they are not there, but the whole point is SELF LOVE & CONFIDENCE! That to me is where you want an exercise like this to go as certified parent coach I know this guy is being unethical. Our job with the client is not to make assumption and it is definitely NOT to encourage co-dependency, rather it is to help the client understand that quality is ALREADY THERE INSIDE. This guy is a quack and could have an actual degree and still be a quack because you do not want a client set up with this idea of finding a knight in shining f'ing armor! This is a social disease.
So, as much as I appreciate the commentary of 30 being a protector, I believe the beauty of a guy like 30 is he knows the score and 88 does too. They are the type that will protect each other, but they are already fortified by this industry and by all the Black fans/Water Armies that have taught them lesson after lesson which they survived, and this goes particularly for 88 as a woman, ethnic minority, very good-looking person, and capable businesswoman and constantly learning actress. This is why I so firmly support the union of these two as they stand, be it just the studios talking or whatever. They get it. You see they get it. That's rare. They are strong on their own and united they really are formidable to a degree. We still have to keep in mind how vulnerable they are in this blood-thirsty industry which can cancel people at will. IF the fantasy of 3088 is true, then the job of the Bird Egg is to be the Wu Lian Ren.
Be that as it may, how cute is it that the protector she drew (which I hope she realizes is already inside her) is almost the same pronunciation as 30's name. Coincidences continue growing. I still don't believe in fate, but if there was any duo out there that seem destined despite a 7 or so year age gap, it would be them.
Evidence: If you are looking for reasons to see if your cp is real, then the fact that these coincidences continue well past the show is your number one clue something may be up. For me, it is the the things that are personal that are the most revealing. When 30 wore 88's favorite character Maruko-chan mask or dressed in a black outfit that reminded me of the Faceless Man, it was much more surprising then some brand alignment with shoes or hats. Colors can be shared as we all know. Numbers can be cooked up for publicity/marketing; however, these types of coincidences seem very intentional shared sugar that just leaks onto the knowing eyes of a select few. They show a level of attention and affection that is quite adorable. What little things have you noticed that show 88's care and attention towards 30 or vice versa?
CP is fantasy. Please let us not bow to the real. Let us not leave the enclosure. We wait for the flowers to bloom and hope an announcement is made, but it is NOT real folx until it gets REAL! All of this is pure conjecture until then. And if they are with someone else, we love and trust their choices and support if we can, let ourselves cry, then move and watch all their works. Let's be Wu Lian Ren together - they are going to need us if the fantasy is indeed true!

Sunday May 2nd 10pm
Many of us were waiting for this day for long. Not that it is any special day. Election results for the assembly election got declared today for West Bengal. I had a personal reason for following the election results as some of the way forward plans are dependent on this results. Our long pending investment plan for the organisation depends on tne outcome of tne results.
Thankfully the results has been in the favour. The ruling TMC has won with a landslide Though most expected her to win, but this majority was not expected. I do enjoy political analysis as it does keep you active on the things around you. Though sometime I feel that spending time on this is escape a route to keep you busy. At the end it doesn't lead to anything.
The whole day I was glued to the TV. I did enjoy the drama unfolding. I'm not sure whether the ruling TMC's return is the right thing for West Bengal, but BJP s failure to form the government is right in many ways. Votes on religious identity is not acceptable. Largely inspite of a majority at the centre , the government has been complacent and has not been able to take any major policy decisions. No major actions on the ground. Largely it has been theatrics and policies to polarize masses on religious ground.
The party is now cleaned up. It should focus on actions on the ground. Jobs, good governance is what is required.
Hope things would be better.
