so i just saw "mountain dew voo-dew" in my grocery store. my first thought was "its kind of weird how mass media has boiled a religion down to an aesthetic, and not even a particularly faithful/accurate one". My second, more pressing thought was "what do you think would happen if i offered it to a lwa?"

From my understanding, it depends on the Iwa.

MC slammed their locker shut and made a mad dash down the hall. Class had ran later than normal and now they were late for the meeting.

Gidorah wasn't paying attention to where they were going. All of her attention was on their group trying to figure out the workings of the group project that had been assigned.

Both of them were stopped dead in their tracks by a solid force ramming into them. Gidorah shoved their foot behind her and quickly caught the person they had ran into. MC nearly flew backwards from force before being caught by someone.

"I am so sorry, are you okay?" MC blinked while getting dragged back to their feet. "Yeah, I'm fine are you? I'm suprised I don't have a concussion, y'all demons are HARD." MC rubbed their forhead while Gidorah picked up their dropped bag. "Here, you dropped this." MC grabbed their bag back from Gidorah "Oh, thanks!"

MC stared into worried brown eyes. The stare soon turned to awe as Gidorahs right eye began glowing. MC started to feel their impending headache ebb away and watched on in bewilderment. Gidorah nodded and the glow in their eye receded. "There, that should take care of your headache!"

Before MC could question Gidorah about whatever magic she pulled Gidorah cut them off first. "Don't you have a meeting to get too?" MC blinked for a second 'meetin- OH SHIT THE MEETING' "RIGHT! I DO! thank you for the voo-doo magic or somethin" Gidorah flashed a warm smile and nodded "No problem."

Gidorah walked around MC and waved over their shoulder as she left at the call of their name. MCs gaze followed Gidorah as they left, "huh, what a strange person." They eventually turned back around to continue their mad dash, although, they're probably extremely late by now.

They stopped when they spotted Lucifer infront of the student council room. "MC, where were you-" he took a deep inhale and sharpened his gaze on MC "-Are you okay?" MC raised an eyebrow at his sudden concern and waved him off. "Of course I am, old man! Don't give yourself more reasons to go gray luci!" Lucifer sighed as he opened the door to the student council room. MC didn't have any injuries on them so there was no need to cause a commotion.

MC happily sat down in their seat while poking belphis leg every now and then. Across the school, Gidorah sat down with Luka and Candy to continue working on their group project.

Both teens thought back to their interaction earlier with one thought 'What an interesting/strange person.'

AN - and off they go. Who knows what the world has in store for them!

My first customers yesterday were these very french twins and when I said "good morning! What can I get for you" they looked confused and stared at me before muttering to each other in french and then the one said "can you repeat?" and I said "how can I help you?" and she, visibly annoyed, said "what are you saying" so I apologized and repeated my question and they looked at each other and then the other said "what?" and I said "can I get you a coffee?" and she, now death glaring, said "you work here?" and I said "yes" and then she after a long pause grumbled "two cappucino". Worst customer interaction in my entire life I did not want to be dealing with the quebecois first thing in the morning. Also unrelated but they looked exactly like Violet fron the first season of ahs except distinctly french-canadian. Also I don't think the question about me working there was meant to be taken at face value but rather was questioning more along the lines of "damn, they hired you?" It occurred to me later that perhaps they had never been there before and thought that because we had a French name and French words everywhere and all up on our menu that maybe it was a french-owned and operated store which no not even close it's not really a thing out here so maybe that's why they were angry at me you're just looking for somewhere that's bilingual but they're so far west that like you just not going to find that despite the fact that if you go to Quebec you can find English only establishments you know places where they do not speak a word of French however I don't think the opposite exists certainly not out here! Despite this, you would not believe how many people do order in french astonishing and the most disappointing part is that yes a lot of the stuff is labeled in french in our till system. I think that's just how pastries work sometimes however the owner doesn't speak French in fact I think I probably am the most fluent at our store regardless there is no reason for a chocolate croissant to be labeled as pain au chocolate when 95% of the time people just say chocolate croissant and the other 3% is people trying to speak french who clearly don't know a word of french and I don't know if they're ordering that way because they assume that I do or something like they think it's a genuinely French establishment but it just makes the entire interaction so strange because well I might understand it if they are speaking something that resembles french they just it just doesn't make sense they have that distinctly albertan accent and then they're like "uuhn cwassawnt et uhh deeuuhxs uh americaneaux (?) see voo playe haha" stop...
