UPRISING ACT 1: THE UPRISING SUMMARY

The first act of Uprising follows the personal story of Sevenn Tarann, an ex-slave who rediscovered his lineage’s age old organization, The Uprising. Sevenn quickly rises up in the ranks as the heir apparent to the group, the descendant of the known rebel Nixtra Tirani, who mysteriously vanished sweeps prior to Sevenn being hatched.

During his younger sweeps, Sevenn struggled with maintaining his freedom, frequently being recaptured and brought back into chains by the relentless hunting of him by his former master, Intaxi Neishi. Intaxi was the current head of the Neishi lineage, a line of trolls well known for their connections to the Alternian Empire and their horrid businesses. Sevenn had escaped Intaxi’s manor during a massive riot, where Sevenn was one of a few survivors out of the thousands that attempted to flee.

One thing Sevenn discovered during his time under Intaxi’s heel was his strange immortality. Otherwise a completely normal mutant, Sevenn had the uncanny trait of being able to come back to life after being killed in any way imaginable. This made him a prime target for the indigo blood, who would torment him in ways most other trolls would find fatal.

During his random bouts of freedom, Sevenn made many close friends. One such friend was Alecii Triden, who quickly bonded with the mutant, and formed a long lasting brotherhood with him. The two would find themselves in many different situations, ranging from capture to launching raids on the Neishi manor.

It was also during this time that Sevenn met two of the most important figures in his life, his matesprit, Azjona Belsam, and his moirail, Rowana Flipri. These two would be huge influences on him, helping him through the rougher parts in his life.

Unfortunately, after a few sweeps, he lost contact with the both of them, causing serious damage to his mental health and causing a spiral into depression.

Meanwhile, Sonati Yxlisi, a troll who was formerly under the care of Intaxi, began to realize just how much the woman had corrupted her life. Not being sure how to deal with this knowledge, she jumped on her matesprit at the time’s, Aelynn Nostam, plot to ruin Intaxi once and for all. Disguised as her serial killer persona Vocali, Aelynn launched a one troll assault on the manor, blowing it up wing by wing, before confronting Intaxi face to face. After a brief altercation, Aelynn left Intaxi for dead in the ruins of her tainted empire, thinking her finished.

However, Intaxi’s death was not by any means natural. Another troll entered the picture, a long forgotten ancestor with a clear vendetta against the Neishi lineage.

The arrival of The Darkened, and the Bane of Stars, marked the end of Uprising Act 1, and the beginning of Uprising Act 2.
