it's been awhile since I've worked on this project! I've had this verse finished for months but didn't want to post it on its own, and instead wait until the whole thing is strung together to show the final result all at once. But I'm tired of holding onto it, so here is one section of my deltarune animation! My art tag has other clips if anyone is interested in seeing more~

Listen. Listen. All I want in this world, the thing that would justify our species' wretched existence, is for Vienna Teng and Hozier to cover each other's entire discographies
Vienna Teng show in Dresden was great. She had a few set songs but primarily you just had to shout what you wanted to hear, we got the hits. Hymn of Acxiom, Antebellum, Blue Caravan, City Hall, Stray Italian Greyhound, Landsailor. More than just that but those are the ones that really stood out. Almost cried for Landsailor because it always does that. Thank you electricity.
Set pieces were cool, revamped version of The Tower, In Another Life (with the Red Guard error corrected), Goodnight New York, and the finale which was an unamplified performance of Green Island Lullaby which was so cool inside a church.
Much older crowd than I expected, especially for Dresden? It's a student town, I guess Vienna Teng is in her 40's now.
Some new songs! Well, one new song that is two new songs that is three new songs. You know how it is.
Ultimately, the only thing you can do is create something that pleases you. You know, create something that you wish existed and then you work on it until it does.
~Vienna Teng, Songwriter Stories
whatever you want by vienna teng! although yes the subject is fun but my favourite part of the song is the Surprise Narratological Twist in the third voice (the revelation that the narrator is also involved as a character) like. 'i am the last one you'd ever suspect of setting the fire' this is so true narrator i didn't even know you were capable of doing actions that weren't narration! and then you listen to the final chorus while thinking about the narrator as aware of the song's audience and go oughughufhgufhgfd. I Like It.
