So the mystery of the new Red Goblin is not a mystery anymore. The symbiote is a part of Bedlam. Bedlam’s child? Later we got to see how Bedlam’s other child, the one that ended up in Asgard, was born, so I think this new Red may be in a way Bedlam’s first born

Which is interesting, as the original Red is Venom’s first born

(Man, I have spent some time still trying to understand what’s up with all the Carnages. This is all so confusing, but it’s the fun kind of confusing, not the frustrating kind of confusing)

I just love how she calls Dylan out here like

I forgot for a hot minute that Kamala didn’t actually know Dylan was a literal child (and he is actually much younger than he looks like since he got mysteriously aged up at multiple points). He’s probably younger than Kamala?

So he can’t keep his cool adult Codex form for long, this is reassuring. I was afraid they would permanently age him up with that. And he can’t hold All-Black for long… 🤔 So he isn’t bonded with her, he still uses her as a sword, just stores it in his chest probably using symbiote shapeshifting. And the Codex form, I suppose is his own shapeshifting rather than Venom’s or else it wouldn’t be a problem

Now, the ability to cut symbiotes off from the Hive is Dylan’s, and not All-Black’s right? Dylan is the Codex, the Chainbreaker, etc. But he does it by bonding with symbiotes, so when he uses All-Black to do it, is he transmitting his power via the blade (that is, no one else would be able to do it even if they had All-Black) or is it All-Black’s ability to cut the connection too (so, anyone would be able to do it if they had All-Black, not only Dylan)? Because, if Dylan is transmitting his power, he may be forming some sort of connection with All-Black to do it. How does All-Black usually bonds anyway, being a sword?

(This reminds me I should read her wiki page again, there’s so much I don’t understand. And I wonder if at some point the Carnage that wants to kill gods will learn that the original All-Black still exists, because I really think a meeting (a fight) between them with their All-Red and VenomCodex (or maybe just Codex, if Eddie gets his shit together) with All-Black will happen)

whatever the true reason is for Kipperlilly hating Riz specifically, there is something uniquely hilarious to me about the idea of this high strung rogue harboring this pathological, foaming-at-the-mouth-with-hatred, one-sided rivalry with another rogue student for two whole years, and then she shows up to the first day of junior year and gets read for filth by his cleric friend, who goes on the immediately surpass all previous levels of hatred and create a two-sided rivalry that the original rival is just tagging along with because of Friend Duties. absolutely hysterical that Riz hates Kipperlilly out of disdain for the ratgrinders and solidarity with Kristen, meanwhile Kipperlilly's main-character rivalry with Riz was usurped in roughly .5 seconds by Kristen Applebees whipping out "What are you, like, four dogs?"

Venom x The Magnus Archives Crossover

Considering assigning Venom characters TMA entities and finding they pretty much hit all of them... (uh oh)

Eddie is a reporter, it's his job to observe and report, also seeing Maria suffering and being unable to help her--that's the Eye. He's afraid of heights (and also aliens from space) so that's The Vast. Eddie and any other symbiote host might also be the Corruption with themes of infection and toxic love, the Flesh due to shape changing, body warping, and forced cannibalism. Also the Web (Spider aligned), the Hunt, and the Stranger (because of the whole possession thing and it was clearly very upsetting for Anne the first time seeing Eddie as Venom.)

Venom, especially in the comics, also seems like he'd be aligned with The Dark.

Cletus, Frances, and Carnage are very Slaughter aligned. Also the Spiral as well as the Corruption as stated the above. Cletus and Carnage are also both Flesh aligned (cannibalism, literally rips him apart when he transforms).

Cletus and Frances are also both individually in solitary confinement that's the Buried or the Lonely.

Eddie hitting rock bottom in Venom 1 also has shades of the Lonely.

Cletus also gets the End being on death row and either he or Dan also hits the Desolation. Maybe both.

Carnage tornado might also be the Vast.

Then there's a the Extinction with the threat of symbiote invasion.

Carlton Drake trying to play God and cheat Death/get off the planet would also be End and/or Extinction.

Eddie though hits the most Entities and probably shouldn't take any job offers from any suspicious British Institutes.
