The Servants
Tumblr media
As has been tradition in Perdition (Hell) for many many centuries, every King and Queen of a Ring has at their disposal a close team of low-ranking/imp workers.
From said team, one lucky (or unlucky, it depends on how you see it) fiend has the honor of becoming said Icon's "head imp". A head imp is a demonlord's closest servant, most often a confidant, a personal assistant and even a friend at times. Their functions are varied and they have a great deal of responsibility on their shoulders.
So, who are they?
Tumblr media
Rieba - Gluttony imp; Servant of Cero (5'0")
This imp was selected for two main factors. The first being her perfectly pallid coloration and the second being her four vastly symmetrical horns. In spite of the conditions taken into consideration for this being mostly physical, she's arguably the most professional and hardworking of the head imps- And she kind of has to be, when you consider her Lord's penchant for sisyphean perfectionism.
As a result of this, Rieba is also one of the most apathetic and cruel of the imps, constantly stressed and prone to snapping at others, putting them down the same way Cero sometimes takes out his frustrations on her. Although she smokes, the woman's true cope is a variety of foods foreign to Hell, she really likes puddings for some reason...
Beneath all that bitterness is someone who actually enjoys taking care of the people around her, and only wishes she was a little more appreciated.
Tumblr media
Jayde - Greed imp; Servant of Zizz (4'9")
An imp that never really thought he'd get as close to the big man as he did. But then, in a ring full of people who would rather sleep all day than move a leg, an early bird go-getter like Jayde is bound to surpass plenty of competition. It felt like a blink passed from when he was a mere intern to when Zizz personally requested he be his head imp.
Jayde is a "simple" man. He likes watches. He likes sports, he enjoys grills- And occasionally his kleptomaniac streak possesses him to do really stupid things. Sometimes Zizz has to pluck personal items from the imp's pockets when he comes to deliver a message, and Jayde is thankful he doesn't seem particularly angered about it.
In spite of greedy types usually being very nefariously clever and selfish, Jayde is a pretty good sport to those he grows respect for and is a mildly possessive friend. That weakness for pretty girls will be the death of him one day however...
Tumblr media
Roch - Sloth imp; Servant of Kalymir (3'9")
Possibly the tiniest sleepiest boy you've ever seen. And you're thinking... How in the fuck did this guy end up as Kalymir's head imp? Valid question. See, when most of your imps keep dying because you get angry enough to launch them at walls at high speeds or simply tear them asunder- There's not a very wide variety to choose from, is there? Rocco here is perfect for the job.
Not only is he smart enough to keep his outfit heavily padded (great for impact absorption), he's so small and pitiful that Kalymir honestly thinks it's beneath him to kill the sucker. Since he's not seen as a threat, he gets to live mostly unscathed, and does a half-decent job when he doesn't have to be startled awake by his Lord's braying.
Roch is a little man who likes to nap by fireplaces and is very tired of making laundry runs because of bloodstains.
Tumblr media
Flints - Wrath imp; Servant of Livius (4'9")
Livius didn't have it easy in his early life. No one really knows anything about his family, and many are the rumors that he has none to begin with. What is known is that Flints has always sort of hovered around the Icon.
Being in Livius' life for a while now, this imp knows how to handle the demonlord better than anyone else, acting as a stabilizer, an anchor, and sometimes a rash wake up call to an otherwise very reckless ring leader. He's as much of a pain in the asshole as he is a manchild babysitter.
Flints is not your typical wrathful nutcase, his rage simmers always just beneath the skin, quiet and deadly. He has a habit of spending entire conversations uttering less than a few words. Although pretty cold and emotionally unavailable at first, he can warm up to very specific people quickly and you'll know he likes you when he touches you, or doesn't break your fingers for touching him without permission. That hat seems to be a family relic.
Tumblr media
Eleri - Envy imp; Servant of Vorticia; (4'6")
Loud, vicious, prettier than thou- This imp rips and tears their way to the very top of Gluttony's imp ranks in their desire to have it all. And the Queen likes an ambitious sprout like that, it reminds Vorticia of her younger self, having to impose respect on others as she aged.
Eleri is a control freak who enjoys the finer things in life, but like many of their kind, can't help sink to gross lows for the sake of sweet, invaluable, coveted attention. Bouncing somewhere between too good for you and utterly fucking pathetic, not many people can juggle them properly.
Thankfully, unlike a certain large twisty demon, Eleri is much more preoccupied with changing things up visually than they are personality-wise. In fact, this imp seems to have a penchant for disguising themself and getting up to all sorts of shenanigans...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lacai - Lust imp; Servant of Vesper (4'7")
Nena - Lust imp; Servant of Rinx (4'5")
You know these two already. Siblings raised by prideful parents to be the very best of the best Hell could offer. And really, there's nothing more impressive for an imp than to be in direct service of royalty! They've both excelled.
Although Nena is more organized than her brother, both are cherished by their respective Icons and engage in a healthy amount of sibling rivalry. Wherein Lacai is a lot less shameless about his needs and regularly feeds on any cute thing who looks his way twice (perhaps in no small amount due to Vesper's influence), Nena is a lot more discrete and seems to loser her bravado as soon as fondness buds.
Both have retained a curious fixation on bugs, which is expressed more so in Lacai- A lover of all insects but especially roly poly. Nena is fascinated with butterflies.
Tidbits about their dynamic:
These imps spend quite a bit of time together, as one can imagine. Whenever the Icons of Hell gather, so do their most important servants, so these seven here have known each other for a while.
Jayde and Rieba once had a bit of a "thing" going on. It never quite became an official relationship before it went down in flames. There's no bad blood, but sometimes moments alone between them become awkward;
Eleri is ruthless about mocking Lacai for the fact that his horns aren't as curved and long as theirs. Lacai will strangle them one day;
Nena and Rieba get along surprisingly well;
Flints has dislocated Lacai's arm for touching him more than once;
Jayde seems to treat Roch the same way he treats most other sloth demons, constantly trying to energize the smaller imp and get him to do things so he stays awake;
Roch has slept through entire fits of bickering between the six other imps several times before;
They bring card games to play in the waiting room when the demonlords are having meetings.

5/JAN/20XX
well. it's his, but somehow i woke up with that stuffed bear on my bed.
he must've forgotten to get it.
also on the end of my bed was papyrus, but he got up sometime before me.
last night he wanted me to read to him, but also wanted for me to rest.
so he ended up falling asleep on the end of my bed.
thought about waking him, but he looked peaceful. (at first.) ended up tossin' my blanket over him instead.
but. it's on me now, so i suppose it was returned before long.
——
papyrus looked out the window and slowly sipped from his cup. coffee, for once.
i'd have asked what changed, but he's not very good at pretending to sleep. his restless inability to stay still after waking up in the middle of the night told me all i needed to know.
won't tell him that he kept me up as well.
"mornin'."
i stepped up to the window beside him.
"GOOD MORNING."
he did a double take when he looked at me.
"ONE OF YOUR EYES ARE BACK ON!"
"oh. sick."
rain patters against the window.
i can't stop my attention from following one droplet in particular, comparing it to the speed of the others as if they were racing.
"IT FEELS LIKE..."
"EVERY TIME AFTER SOMETHING HAPPENS TO YOU, IT RAINS."
"just lucky, i guess."
"ARE WE SURE YOU'RE NOT ALLERGIC TO POOR ONCOMING WEATHER CONDITIONS?"
"that would be kinda rad."
"HOW IS THAT 'RAD'?"
"think about it."
"i'd make a killing as a weatherman."
"assuming the weather allergen didn't kill me first."
"YOU SUDDENLY COLLAPSE AND THEY JUST GO, 'OH, SANS IS DOWN. IT'S GONNA STORM TOMORROW.' "
"if it works it works."
i poured myself a coffee too, and pulled a chair up to the window. papyrus did the same, and we watched together as the rain took away what last bit of snow was still left.
"WE DIDN'T HAVE NEARLY ENOUGH TIME THIS YEAR."
"with the snow?"
"YEAH."
"at least it did snow at all."
"I MISS IT ALREADY."
"we can always revisit snowdin."
"IT'S DIFFERENT ON THE SURFACE."
"UP HERE IS SNOW THAT GLITTERS BEAUTIFULLY IN THE SUN; SNOW THAT VARIES IN CONSISTENCY FROM TIME TO TIME..."
"THAT'S THE KIND OF SNOW I WANT!!"
"i could point a flashlight at the at the stuff in snowdin. or throw some sparkles on it. might glitter then."
"NO..."
"and i could bring a hair dryer, to melt the snow a little of it so the texture's different."
"THAT'S JUST ENTIRELY WRONG."
"I DON'T WANT 𝙎𝙇𝙐𝙎𝙃."
"but it 𝘪𝘴 a different consistency."
"I DON'T WANT 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧 KIND OF DIFFERENT."
"i don't 𝘴𝘯𝘰𝘸 what you mean then."
"DIFFERENT LIKE BETWEEN PACKING SNOW AND POWERED SNOW, I MEAN."
"......"
"wow. my brother is a snow expert."
"EXPERT??"
"snow 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘶𝘳."
"HMMM..."
"I 𝘈𝘔 A CONNOISSEUR AT EVERYTHING, SO IT MUST BE TRUE."
"must be."
"DOES THIS MEAN I'LL HAVE TO START BEING PARTICULARLY PICKY ABOUT SNOW?"
"one is not given the connoisseur title for their accepting of just any old snow."
"THEN IN FUTURE, LEAVE IT TO MY DISCERNING EYESOCKETS TO IDENTIFY THE BEST SNOW!"
"i trust your sockets."
"....."
"with everything lately, i can't say i really trust my own."
"YOU'VE GOT A LIGHT BACK. THAT'S PROGRESS!"
"but i can't use powerful magic or i'll lose it again."
"THAT... IT'LL JUST TAKE TIME, I'M SURE."
"ONCE YOUR EYE HEALS, I'M CERTAIN IT'LL GO BACK EXACTLY TO THE WAY IT WAS!"
"and if it doesn't..."
"WE'LL JUST HAVE TO COME UP WITH REALLY COOL FORMATIONS FOR YOUR REGULAR ATTACKS!"
he gave a bright smile.
papyrus' optimism made me feel a little better.
"HOW IS YOUR VISION DOING?"
"could be better."
"could be worse."
"IS IT STILL FUZZY?"
"from a distance."
"CAN YOU SEE ME RIGHT NOW?"
"yep."
"i can see the whipped cream on your face too."
"AH-?"
"WHOOPS."
"DO YOU WANT SOME IN YOUR COFFEE, TOO?"
"ehhh.."
"sure."
"why not?"
whipped cream mustaches sounded fun.

Honestly seeing how the chain is really having a bad time with the "nightmares" and seeing some have the bad end of going into reader's world would make reader lend more than meds to the chain and so maybe giving cuddles and babying them like what they did with sage when he first came to reader's world and now believing that because of the chain's trauma and them being varying degrees of losing strength and the fact they are in a new world they don't know and so causing them these bad nights which causes to harm reader's heart and so giving much more affection to that link against sages protests and when reader caves in with what sage wants he ends up having to share reader with that link in bed for a long night and a thing that brought this to my mind was what if the chain members who could turn into things like legend turning into a pink bunny for the first months could infact still turn into those things but as times goes on it doesn't happen as much and is harder for them to do those things like at first four could split but after the first two months in reader's world he can't anymore and the colors voices are much more quiet altho they are still there they just can't part and are more quiet than before and what I'm going with this is one night dink goes to haunt legend but sadly legend is in his bunny form and he screams (I heard bunnies can scream) which ends up waking everyone and they find this scares bunny in the house, reader feeling bad for the poor bunny try to feed it carrots to calm it and when it seems he's gunna eat the carrot he instead runs up on reader and which ends up taking Refuge in reader's arms while sage just stares down at legend aware of what's going on and not happy and so he tries to get the bunny out of reader's arms and which ends up with him getting bites by legend, this could be with a reader who doesn't know that legend and twilight are wolfie and the pink bunny or just reader who knows but is gunna take all the time they need before legend turns back from a cute pink bunny. And as sage tells about his arm hurting again and that it would be good for legend to go back to his bed but with reader notice how panicked legend is as he is shaking reader decides that legend would be on their left side and sage can cuddle in reader's right side when going back to bed and when reader is asleep sage and legend just stare at each other with hatred and annoyance with how they can't get reader for themselves for a second.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Just legend looking at sage and sage looking at him back like this while reader sleeps
OAKVNOSK SAGE AND LEG AS THOSE CATS THEY'RE GOING TO KILL EACH OTHER WHEN THEY GET THE CHANCE 😭😭😭 BUT FOR NOW THEY'VE JUST GOTTA GLARE AT EACH OTHER OVER READER WHO'S SLEEPING LIKE THERES NOTHING WRONG
And you're right the chain are absolutely struggling at this point AOSKNC It's lucky for them to have gotten more than a couple of hours of sleep in a night once Sage and the shadow have teamed up, OFC like you've mentioned it does backfire. If the links got desperate enough there'd just be cuddle piles every night. Making everyone pissed off at everyone else because that way no-one gets alone time with reader. Even reader is getting exhausted with how little alone time they have, what with how they're being watched even at work
At some point the nightmares would stop as dink realises that it's worse for them than if the chain didn't have the nightmares. He just starts messing with them in different ways. You ever put something down and then never been able to find it? It'd be small things like that that really make the links question their own sanity, and possibly distance reader from them as they get sent to therapy? Four most likely needing to be one of the first to see a professional after the colours start getting quieter, as I think due to the desperation of them all going quiet would possibly lead him to talking to himself trying to mimic each of them. That or he'd start to spiral due to losing such a big part of himself so abruptly. Wind again being the only one who's safe from this, or any link that respected Sage's boundaries with reader, Sky perhaps?
As for what you said with legend, I love the idea that they can still transform for a small while but maybe it's only into a pink rabbit for a week or so then the colour slowly fades to a standard rabbit before he can't even do that? he'd just look like the killer rabbit from holy grail for a bit OSMXOAKM also I realise you probably mean a high pitch scream but with that Idea I immediately went with him sounding like he would when he was human, just this human scream coming from a rabbit in the dead of night at like 3am 💀 OR IF WHEN HE BITES SAGE THAT'S HOW THEY FIND OUT HE'S WORKING WITH DINK - HE'D BLEED BLACK BLOOD!! 🖤 Which makes even more sense why leg would be so insistent after that, desperately trying to put any distance between him and reader, or at least that's how he justifies it to reader. whether they listen or not would depend on what you'd do of course. But either way a yandere is falling even deeper for reader.

this will be so unserious because if i try to take this seriously i will spontaneously combust
Okay first some terms and explanations:
Venemagiks (pronounced with a g as in good)—people who are born part human, part magical creature. Their traits can vary from as mild as having some cool horns, to as severe as having their skeleton on the outside, same with magical abilities. For some it's a blessing, for a some a curse, 'cause they'd rather not catch fire in direct sunlight, you get me!!
Transmutation—I know you know what transmutation is, but in the context of this story, it works by deconstructing material at the molecular level and thus is more science than magic, really
Human transmutation—pretty self-explanatory, but important note: it is ILLEGAL!! because it's TOO DIFFICULT!! the chances of success are so astronomically low that you'll probably kill whoever you're trying to transmute so it is AGAINST THE LAW to even TRY!!
Magia (again with that same g)—the physical element in the air using which people can Do Magic
There are three types of casters: mages—academics who've studied the discipline and have a license to wield a magia conductor, 'cause otherwise you can't Do Magic; priests—they're devoted to certain deities and have access to magia through them (these communities rarely mix); freecasters—mostly some magical creatures that are innate spellcasters and can just Do Magic through their bodies, and some venemagiks can also inherit this trait
POV Characters!!
Quilin d'Alisso
a transmutation mage, certified Expert in his field
tortured genius™
decided he's Good Enough to do human transmutation with the help of his besties because it is, in theory, the only way to help venemagiks who need that help
well he was right and thus became the first ever Former venemagik
can't really hide that fact so the academy he was part of was like ">:000 ok you did it to urself so we're gonna let u off with a warning BUT YOU GOT LUCKY AND DON'T ATTEMPT THIS SHIT ON OTHERS"
guess what he did lmao
anyways things did go wrong eventually, because of course they did, and he got the ye olde exile hammer
it was either that or execution for his crimes so... i mean....
oh boy did it this whole thing give him trauma tho aha :)
he swears off ever doing this shit again, some years pass, a cute boy comes along, asks for help really really nicely, and, well, you know
and then HE DIES
but don't worry he gets better
anyways he's a bit of a bastard man, 'it's better to ask for forgiveness than permission', absolutely in love with said cute boy (coming up) and that uh causes some problems, his sense of humor involves threats of medical malpractice
i initially planned for him to be the deuteragonist but then i got obsessed and so he got promoted
some general info: trans guy, 28-29, blind without his glasses, comes from high society, pastel palette (prefers pink for hair), lost an arm in the Incident
Endra Velion
mentioned cute boy
actual babyboy, the sweetest ever, kinda immature
neurodivergent as hell
a venemagik, only kinda a weird one... has a sentient parasite in his body that is slowly eating away at said body and mind (looks like obsidian is spreading over his skin)
at the point where he finds Quil, he no longer has a FACE, so.... man's suffering a little
is a freecaster because of it tho!!
also he doesn't need to breathe, eat, or drink because of it, 'cause the parasite wants his body to remain alive....
doesn't mean he doesn't feel the need to, because i'm evil sorry
his past isn't as dramatic, he lived in a secluded community established and ran by his mom, consisting purely of venemagiks that feel unsafe living with the general population because of their quirks and stuff
he did have to run away from it, though, 'cause his mom is vehemently against seeking any mages or priests out for help (because of....reasons....)
anyways he manages to convince Quil to help him yay
falls for Quil very hard, he's obsessed (affectionate)
an artist, loves to play the piano, draw (when uh he was able to see at least), learns how to cook for Quil too 'cause god knows he does not feed himself well, also a big cat enthusiast (adopts the first stray he comes across rip)
he is also illiterate
so basically this dynamic is 'guy who has an entire library in his basement and is obsessed with books x guy who does not know how to fucking read'
some general info: cis guy, 24-25, tall, wears mostly simple earthy clothing, (dark) hair bun gang
next time i'm gonna go over some other relevant characters that play major roles in the present timeline, 'cause what i talked about here mostly concerns the past one lol
also, check out WWCC intro post
tag list (let me know if you wanna be removed 'cause i'm adding people from the pitch event, so i'm not entirely sure you're okay with being tagged x) also let me know if you wanna be added): @writerfae, @tate-lin, @iriswords, @sternenmeerkind, @thecrookedwriterspath, @pure-solomon, @moonshinemagpie, @arowanaprincess

ive been thinking about getting that new warhammer game since i rlly enjoyed pathfinder wotr. would you recommend it?
First of all, if you're coming from pathy and don't know a lot about the setting: please be aware that warhammer as a franchise is pretty bleak. everyone and everything sucks in many different and exciting ways in rogue trader(facism! xenophobia! everyone's really into torture!). you can't really be a good guy either; your player character for example owns by default a prison planet and one of the first things you do with that thing is figure out how to get more prisoners into the place as you need workers there. your "good guy" options are basically you being slightly less awful than most people there.
not exactly everyone's cup of tea which is why i feel it's worth mentioning. i don't want to send anyone into this without making sure they know what they're buying lol.
with that out of the way: personally i've been having a great time with it! i'm 80 hours into the game so far. the gameplays pretty solid, i find the companions very interesting and the plot has been fun. excited to see where it's going. instead of mythic paths you get to choose between three convictions. while they aren't quite as varied or intriguing as pathys system, i'm still enjoying them. it's also just funny to have people think of your guy as a dangerous fanatic because he doesn't think you need to kill every alien on sight.
i haven't encountered any game breaking bugs though it does have the distinct bugginess of a freshly released owlcat rpg which can be kind of annoying; according to the steam reviews people HAVE been having issues with this sort of thing so i probably just got lucky. they've been patching it pretty frequently though and considering the kingmaker and wotr experience i'm assuming most of it will hopefully be fixed soon
my biggest personal gripe is the leveling system surprisingly. you level up a LOT. it feels like i have to stop the game to read through pages of skills every 40 minutes. doing that for 9 characters does get exhausting after a while. i wish they gave me an auto level up button. at least for the companions. i've heard people have made some very wild builds with it but i man i'm at a point where i'm just reading like the first 5 skills for characters and click one of those. i also feel like there have been some weird difficulty spikes every once in a while. i get through the game fine and then there's suddenly a fight that just absolutely wrecks me followed by me just easily getting by again. is it my shit build? maybe! i have no idea.
overall it's been a very positive and fun experience for me despite my little complaints here and there. if it sounds like something that might interest you and you aren't too bothered by the bugs: go for it! otherwise i'd advise waiting a lil until the worst of it has been patched.

Let me give you the Game of Thrones we all wanted. Not just me and you, but D&D too. They wanted the unexpected and the thrill, we wanted the characters. These are not mutually exclusive.
Arya Stark kills the Night King, but not alone.
Jon makes it to his last little brother just in time to see a battered and bloody Theon cut down defending him. The Night King is injured, but not defeated. He has no interest in meeting Jon head on, so he sends the wights to do so while he advances on Bran.
Rhaegal, wounded but loyal, appears to burn the wights who would have stopped him. Jon has no time to be in awe of the dragonfire which saves his life, only time to charge straight at the Night King and fight. This is why he left his black brothers to die, after all, for Ned Stark's last son. He could not save Robb, could not fight beside him, but he will give his life for Bran if need be.
Yet the Night King cares nothing for honor. Wights gone, he summons his generals. Two White Walkers rush to his defense, preparing to kill Jon, but they do not make it across the courtyard before it is filled with wolves. The largest of them, a she-wolf as large as a pony, leads her pack in the charge. Nymeria cannot kill the White Walker, but she and her pack rip them limb from limb, the screams like nothing Jon has ever heard.
Cruel and careful, the Night King uses his distraction to knock him off his feet. As the killing blow comes down, Jon sees something behind the Night King. Silent as any shadowcat, Arya has snuck into the godswood, into the battle. She drags her blade across the White Walkers throat, and he turns into a rush of blood and a shattering of ice shards.
All of his wights fall with him, but there are other White Walkers yet remaining. Somewhere beyond the walls of Winterfell, Rhaegal and Drogon obey their mother, and turn their wights into nothing more than ash. Relieved of the great burden of the living dead, the men rally to kill the remaining White Walkers. Grey Worm kills one and Sandor another, while Brienne claims two. Under the watchful eyes of the ravens, none escape.
The Starks do not notice this. Jon hugs Arya tight, there in their father's godswood covered with the fallen dead, and cries for the first time since he woke from darkness. Arya, who might have been No One except that she could not forget Jon Snow's smile, pulls him back to Bran and holds him tight.
This is how the dawn is won.
Afterward, the Starks rally their men to march North. Cersei awaits them, enthroned in Kings Landing, and she has hurt them too much to forget. Sansa, afraid and angry, whispers in Tyrion's ear before he goes. She has known no benevolent monarchs and no merciful women once they have their power. Lysa, Margaery, Cersei, all of them turned against her. So she gives up the secret she has sworn to keep, for the offer of a crown on her brother's head. Arya and Jon head south with the army, but Sansa has sworn never to leave the North again.
As they march south, Daenerys frees Riverrun, naming Edmure and his new daughter her rightful rulers, and meet with the remaining 30,000 men from the Vale. Anya Waynewood remembers Queen Visenya's visit to the Eyrie; she does not need a reminder of why the Vale kings knelt to the Targaryens. When they reach Kings Landing, the Reach awaits them, some 10,000 men rallied from the shadow of Highgarden and Horn Hill.
Plans are formed and ravens sent, but when the armies are gathered the queen remains on Dragonstone. In her place are Jon and Rhaegal, landing before the city and calling the forces to attention. Sansa was not wrong. Tyrion and Varys would sooner a man sit the throne than a woman, birth and expulsion aside, and so would most of the realm. Their greatest challenge had been convincing Jon, reborn without purpose, conqueror of the White Walkers, King in the North, Jon, that he deserved his father's throne.
Tyrion presents an impassioned plea, including a warning of the threat the coldness between his sisters and the queen carried. Sam, crippled yet alive, gives him papers supporting his claim and his late father's writings, which name his son Aegon as the Prince Who Was Promised. Varys, the Mad King's most trusted advisor, is quick to support these claims. After all, why would a Stark bastard be brought back for nothing? He had won the Dawn. He had defeated the Army of the Dead. Now his throne awaited.
Aegon. What better name for a king?
So it is that Jon names himself Aegon VI Targaryen, recognizing Lyanna Stark as his mother, and takes Kings Landing in a bloody battle. When it is done, there is a new Sack of Kings Landing, the city half afire and the Red Keep in ruins, but there is a new king.
Ned Stark had tried to save Cersei's children, but she has no more of them. Jon condemns her for usurping the throne, destroying the sept, and the murder of his father. Rather than executing her, he sends her to the dungeons she had fostered to die as Unella and Tyene and Falyse Stokeworth had.`
Then he turns his gaze to the rest of the realm, demanding obedience. Both Targaryen and Stark had suffered too long under lesser houses. Under Tyrion's guidance, he uses Ellaria as leverage against Dorne and names Bronn the Lord of Highgarden. When the Reach rumbles with the Florent's threat of rebellion he burns Brightwater Keep to ash with her lord inside, and gives the land to Melessa Tarly for her son's service.
A king needs a queen, and Daenerys had been rejected by his advisors. Alys Waynwood and Jynna Mallister are called to the capitol to see the king, although Jon refuses to entertain any of Tyrion's cousins. Both of them are rejected, and Jon insists a Northern girl be summoned, one who worships the Old Gods. The Faith doesn't like that, but aren't in a position to protest yet.
Cersei's screams can be heard from the dungeons, and Tyrion can't bring himself to go down and see her. The sister that he had fought so hard to help would blame him for this fate, he knows. He bars Jaime from the capitol, shipping him back to Winterfell and his lady knight with a hundred men as guards.
House Yronwood, now wed to Oberyn's last daughter, have no interest in rejoining the realm. Jon threatens to kill Ellaria and send them her head, but what does Yronwood care about a bastard who had murdered Doran Martell, when compared to a man usurping the name and throne belonging to Elia's son? She is not Sarella's mother, and Jon will not wed their princess.
When Yara Greyjoy declares her independence behind their own, Jon prepares Rhaegal for a war. They fought against Robb and weakened him, what does Jon care for their houses or Daenerys' promises? The Iron Islands will belong to the Iron Throne or they will be dust and ash.
Daenerys isn't dead.
Varys poisoned her, but she is a Targaryen and they have always resisted poison and illness better than most. For many days she is too weak to get out of bed. When at last she can stand, Grey Worm admits to her that Rhaegal is gone and Jon Snow rules in Kings Landing. He sits on her throne, but she cannot fight against her son.
For some time she is forced to stay on Dragonstone to recover. It is during this time that a ship full of Dothraki arrives. It is largely young men eager to join her men, but two women are on the ship as well. Ornela, the khaleesi who had helped her in Vaes Dothraki, and Jhiqui, Irri's sister. Her bloodriders, Aggo and Kovarro, who had joined her after Drogo's dead, had called for them.
Together they support her while she recovers from near death. They bring her food and wash her hair, they find food testers and sleep next to her at night. Once she had led her people across the Red Waste and fought for their freedom, but now they are her strength. One night, Dany sits with Grey Worm and tells him he is free to go if he wishes to. Her stoic war commander had refused, promising to see her home first.
But where was her home?
The darkness that has encompassed her life is finally broken by the arrival of a Volantene galley arriving in her harbor. Jon is not brave enough to war against her, knowing that Rhaegal would lose a fight against his brother, but Volantis was not afraid. They had sided with Yunkai against her, sending ships and men to their aid.
It is not the soldiers of the Old Blood that have come to Dragonstone. It is an old woman. Her spine is bent and her white hair so thin Dany can see her scalp. Her face is covered in scars, but her eyes are bright and black. She has come not for Daenerys Targaryen, but for the Breaker of Chains, the woman those in the Bay of Dragons still call Mhysa.
She calls herself Vogarro's whore, but the slaves in Volantis call her the Widow of the Waterfront. Nothing she has can help Dany. Instead, she brings a plea from the slaves of Volantis. She says that they are waiting. She begs her to come soon. Slaver's Bay may be no more, but the Free Cities still thrive. Children are bought and sold every day.
And so Daenerys rises from Dragonstone and leaves the Iron Throne behind. If she is not to be a queen, then let her be a conqueror, a rescuer. Grey Worm and his men rally to her side.
Her fleet is reduced, but so are her men. She takes them all, refusing to leave any of her people where the Westerosi might find them, and she summons Drogon from his nest in the hills. With him comes Rhaegal, her son responding to her call despite his rider. When they sail east, two dragons go with her.
Volantis, as Slaver's Bay before her, falls to fire and blood. Daenerys frees the city and gives rule over to her people, the freedmen who fought for their own freedom when the dragons came to their aid.
Months later, a ship with the last Lannister sails into Volantis' bay.
Daenerys is not there. She has gone north, to Pentos, to an old friend and to strangers. The Unsullied who remain in the city are no friends to the Sunset Kingdoms, and least of all Tyrion Lannister.

Supernatural Characters as John Mulaney Quotes
Sam Winchester: I was always the squarest person in the cool room, and alternatively, sometimes the weirder person at the mainstream table.
Dean Winchester: I’ll keep all my emotions right here. And then one day I’ll die
Castiel: Things don't exist until they exist.
Charlie Bradbury: It's nice when you're nervous and everybody's like, "Yeah, you should be nervous." Because a lot of times you're anxious and people say, "Relax. Shut up." And that just feels like, Well, I guess I'm also crazy.
Mary Winchester: I don't make plans anymore. So I'm not living minute to minute.
John Winchester: Now I get to say, 'my wife' which is very exciting. It has a lot of power to it. It's fun to say 'my wife'. I'm looking forward to saying it a lot. 'Get away from my wife!' 'No one talk to my wife!' 'I didn't kill my wife!'
Crowley: You have the moral backbone of a chocolate eclair.
Rowena: We started chanting, McDonald's, McDonald's, McDonald's! And my dad pulled into the drive-thru, and we started cheering and then he ordered one black coffee for himself and kept driving.
Lucifer: Just because you're accurate doesn't mean you're interesting.
Chuck: Late at night, on the street, women will see me as a threat. That is funny, yeah! It’s kind of flattering in its own way, but at the same time, it’s weird because, like, I’m still afraid of being kidnapped.
Bobby Singer: All my money is in a savings account. My dad has explained the stock market to me maybe 75 times. I still don't understand it.
Gabriel: Things have to be funny first, and if they want to have a point, that's awesome.
Garth: My vibe is like, hey you could probably pour soup in my lap and I’ll apologize to you.
Jody Mills: You can't always see both sides of the story. Eventually, you have to pick a side and stick with it. No more equivocating. You have to commit.
claire novak: I’m a very lucky person. I’m an idiot, and I’ve shoveled through life rather nicely so far, so I don’t feel like I deserve good treatment.
I have definitely missed a lot of characters. fill free to add them in.
Also i'm in denial about the series ending because I only got into spn like 2 years ago. so I haven't gone part s13. Accuracy may vary.
