do you have any dresses that you like that are based off of the ocean :o
Hello 😊
Here are some dresses inspired by the ocean. As usual, I'm showing you only the ones which I feel are the most representative of the theme, but I'm also adding the names of the collections as well, so you can have a further look if you like.
I'm starting off with two collections which, I'm gonna be honest, I don't particularly love. However they were very popular when they came out as they are full of sparkly and dreamy couture gowns, so I know that a lot of you will appreciate them.
Zuahir Murad "Aquatic Serenade" spring 2019 couture
Ziad Nakad “Atlantis” spring 2020 couture
Now, this collection is more unconventional, avant-garde and, in my opinion, very unique. I mean, we are talking about THE Lee Alexander McQueen.
Alexander McQueen “Plato's Atlantis” spring 2010 ready to wear
Then we have a designer whom I love with all my heart, easily one of my favourite couturiers ever!
Iris Van Herpen “Sensory Seas” spring 2020 couture
Iris Van Herpen “Earthrise” fall 2021 and “Roots of Rebirth” spring 2021 couture (last two looks)
Zac Posen spring 2008 ready to wear
Saiid Kobeisy “Whispers of The Sea” fall 2017 couture
Alena Akhmadullina spring 2016 ready to wear (one is a jumpsuit, not a dress, sorry 😂)
Honourable mentions:
Valentino prefall 2016
Monique Lhuillier spring 2012 ready to wear
Hian Tjen “Osmosis” 2017 collection
Yiqing Yin “Spring of Nuwa” fall 2012 couture

Would you happen to know of any couture or collections that have a witchy aesthetic? Thank you in advance!
I could be really lazy here and just say any couture collections that feature black gowns would easily fit the witch aesthetic. However I also tend to find ready-to-wear collections lean more in to that vibe. So here are collections and individual gowns I believe could be what you're looking for when it comes to imagine what witches would wear.
Alexander McQueen Fall 2014 RTW Collection
Elie Saab Fall 2017 RTW Collection
Galia Lahav Spring 2017 Couture Collection
Gareth Pugh Fall 2013 RTW Collection
Lena Hoscheck Spring 2020 RTW Collection
Paolo Sebastian Fall 2019 Couture Collection
Zuhair Murad Fall 2016 Couture Collection
Valentino Fall 2016 Couture Collection
As for individual dresses, I can definitely see a modern day witch spell casting in these amazing gowns.
Christian Dior one, two, three, four, five & six.
Emilio Pucci one, two, three & four.
David Koma one, two, three, four & five.
Georges Hobeika one, two & three.
Julien Fournie one, two, three,
Rodarte one, two & three, four, five & six.
Schiaparelli one, two & three.
Ziad Nakad one, two, three, four, five & six.
Zuhair Murad one, two, three, four, five & six.
Valentino one, two, three, four & five.
Again I’m sure I’ve missed a lot of designers who have gowns that could easily fit the witch aesthetic but I hope you love what I’ve picked out and brings you some inspiration or creative references if need be.
Blessed Be. ✨

Marcus Pike with a fashion writer!Reader would definitely get up with you at 4:30 AM (if work allowed it)—because you’ve got Paris Fashion Week livestreams to watch and report on, and you go to art galleries with him for work all the time.
He’ll make coffee, he’ll sit with you on the couch, he’ll grab you something to eat if you’re hungry, get you coffee refills so you don’t miss anything. And he doesn’t do it to win points with you, either. He does it ‘cause you support his passions and work, and he supports yours.
Besides, he loves the details. The Bosch iconography sprinkled throughout Valentino’s Spring 2017 Ready-to-Wear collection? Don’t get him started.
