I got my first ever commission from @redreart and I couldn't be more happy with it, it's gorgeous. Morgan riding Foxglove <3

I had this image in my mind for what I wanted, with 'Life on a Bright Horse' as a theme (as opposed to Death on a Pale Horse), and honestly the sketch redre did was stunning and fulfilling enough but the final version...all the colours, they're so vibrant, she's got the exact pose and attitude I wanted for Morgan, she did a GREAT job with her face considering I don't have a faceclaim for her, I wanted a natural outdoor setting and all the details and plants and the lighting are...more than I ever expected. I love it SOO much, that's my girl...maintaining some joy in life even when the situation is pretty dire. If you are considering commissions, ABSOLUTELY consider redre, she fulfilled every single idea I had and made it completely stunning, and was super straightforward and easy to work with <3

It's been a week since you saw that woman in the street, who'd promised to meet you on the 10th before teleporting away in a flash of light. 'Fate-kun', she'd called you, despite your gender being rather...ambiguous in your current clothing.

Names aside...she hadn't come on the 10th, despite her promise, and you're beginning to wonder if she was just an early morning hallucination, or something. After all, someone that big, fat, and curvaceous...they only appear in your fantasies, don't they? Or maybe in your aspirations, for certain Fate-kuns.

You're walking down the same street as that fateful day, and for a moment, you wonder if you'll see her when you turn the corner. Of course, you don't, but you chuckle to yourself anyway.

It wouldn't happen like that. That's a thing for manga and anime.

You turn around (you discovered a quicker way to work a few days ago), starting to slowly trudge back...

VWLIP!

"MOVE, MOVE, MO-"

CRASH! BBBBBWUUUUUUURPPPPPP-

You register the feeling of soft flab oozing over your body before you register the sensation of it shoving you to the pavement. A loud, long belch rips from your attacker's maw, cascading down the empty street as she struggles atop you. It's clear she doesn't want to be on top of you, but she seems to be having problems with it regardless.

Her tanned lard jiggles atop you as you dig your fingers into her heavy gut, trying to push her off you gently.

"Gwahhhh...I'm, like, soooo sorry about this! Gimme just a sec and I'll, like-"

VWLIP!

"There you are! LIke, soooo sorrr -urpppp- ry about that!~

Now you're standing, being brushed off by a woman with familiar blonde hair and a cheery grin. Lard pooling out of the bottom of her sweater, just like it was a week ago? Chest, larger than half her stomach, straining valiantly against her shirt, just like it was a week ago? Ass so bloateed, fat, and jiggly that if she sat down she'd likely be wider than a couch? A trio of chins so massive and lardy that they squish against her neck and make her look even fatter than she probably is?

Check, check, check, and check~.

"Hmmm?"

"Oh-my-gawd! It's you, Fate-kun!~ I was so totally lookin' for you last Tuesday, but I never found you, even in bound time! I'm, like, soooo glad you're okay!"

The woman drags you into a hug, your face shoved between her immense breasts as her ass claps from the movement of her joyful cuddle.

You consider asking her what 'bound time' means (or why you teleported from the ground to standing up), but before you can, she's already dragging you down the street.

"Come on, let's get some coffee, Fate-kun! I know a greeeeatttt place, like, no customers!~"

You try and stop her grip, stammering out that you don't even know her name, in an attempt to make her calm down, but she just winks at you with a tubby smile.

"My name's Uzume Satsuhana!~ Now, stop fighting and come oooonnnn!"

Something tells you that this girl- Uzume -is going to be a hell of a handful...

The Dawn Court

The Dawn Court isn’t categorized into Seelie or Unseelie, and assumes a more liminal alignment. Faeries belonging to this court are generally considered hopeful fellows and are mostly satisfied with the role the universe has bestowed upon them. Like the Dawn, they are the best of both worlds, favoring some of the traditional aspects and values of old, but are not opposed to new beginnings or a fresh start. Change is not always necessary for them, but can be something beautiful, opening up new and fresh perspectives able to enrich life and enjoy it to the fullest. They are a justice loving and mostly optimistic folk, believing that everything will turn out alright in the end. Rough patches might exist, but they are of a transient nature necessary for life to move forward and thrive. Liminality is seen as something favorable, opening up endless options for you to choose from. Every new day is a day for you to explore, to cherish; your unwavering hope a beacon for others to cling to and be inspired by. You’re probably not the leader in your friend group, but you’re the glue holding it together.

I’m still working on the champion pics for my last Sapphire run...very slowly.  Work was really exhausting over the holidays and my hands aren’t doing so good.  In the meanwhile I’ve been playing Alpha Sapphire, directly after regular Sapphire so I can see the differences more clearly.  I want to make this cartridge a permanent storage for some of my older Pokemon, who I’ve been transferring up the generations because I’m worried about Bank eventually going down in the next few years.  I’m picking 6th gen for their forever home because it’s got Pokemon-Amie and Super Training so it’s easy to spend a lot of time with my favorites.

But before I can cram all my guys in, I want to beat the game regular.  I’ve told the Pokemon in this run that their world was chosen to be a home for powerful beings from beyond their reality.  But if those aliens invaded all at once, the natives of their world would be overwhelmed.  The Pokemon I catch in Alpha Sapphire are tasked with strengthening their world and themselves to prepare for that mass migration.

In my original Sapphire run, from when I was in high school, I did the weeaboo cringe thing and named my Pokemon after Japanese words I got from punching English words into an online dictionary.  That’s why the gijinka characters from that time period have names like ‘Inu’ and ‘Tanuki.’  In the spirit of that, I’m going to aim to name all my Alpha Sapphire guys after Shinto deities and artifacts.  I’m also trying to do some research on ancient Japan so that I know what I’m doing with outfit designs.  It’s an imperfect process and I’m probably going to end up with some real cringe by the end of it, but that’s okay.

Kojiki, my starter for this run, is going to write down everything he can about his world, in its relatively untouched state, as a historical record of the time before the migration.  He’s turning into a history nerd, every time the actual plot of the game brings up ancient Kyogre/Groudon/Rayquaza lore he gets really interested.  He’s named for the Records of Ancient Matters, the oldest surviving written account of Japanese history and Shinto legends.  The second oldest book is called the Chronicles of Japan, the Nihon Shoki.  So his full name is Kojiki Shoki, at least until I find out that those words together mean something completely different and inappropriate.

Uzume is the Pokemon they showed me for the catching and DexNav tutorial.  I assume that encounter is always a Poochyena with Fire Fang?  Probably?  Since she has a fire attack I kind of wish I could’ve named her Amaterasu, but that name’s been taken since my original Sapphire run.  I named my Milotic that because I caught/raised/evolved her the hard way and thus her name needed to be Special.  So instead, Uzume’s namesake is the goddess who lured Amaterasu out of a cave by dancing.  I don’t know how prevalent dancing is going to be for my Uzume, I already tried teaching her Swords Dance and she can’t learn it.

I was going to draw a few more designs from this run, but my hands were going numb.  And now my hands are numb again from typing too much, haha.
