You know, when I see how some of my closest friend treat me, I genuinely feel unworthy of love, affection and attention…

Do you like enemies to lovers because it's hot or do you like enemies to lovers because you think of yourself as unlovable & unworthy of love and therefore like the idea of someone seeing all the worst in you right away and still falling in love with you anyways

I'm too fat for love.
So anyone who would even look in my direction can do whatever they want with me and I wont complain once.
They can hurt me,torture me,mentally abuse me, physically abuse me,sexually abuse me, they could even kill me if they want.
Because I should feel happy that they even wanted to look at me in the first place.

how is anyone supposed to feel like they are enough when they have never been in a situation where someone else has expressed to that person that they are enough. They've never learned what enough is. there is no baseline in their mind, showing them what enough is. Therefore, they are constantly under the impression that they are not good enough for anything or anyone.

Unworthy
A TRR one shot
Tumblr media
TRR AU
Pairings - Maxwell x OC (past girlfriend)
Word count - 830
A/N- I’m so sorry guys! Please don’t hate me for this!
Warnings - mental/emotional abuse, toxic behavior
*Edit - some of you requested a follow up for this - click here to read it.
“Amber, I’m so sorry!” Maxwell cries out from his position, hands and knees on the floor, unable to even stand and face her while she berates him.
“You honestly think you’re worthy of love?” The tall blonde asks with a smirk. “Pathetic.”
“I.. No. No, I know I’m not.” Maxwell says with his head lowered, eyes toward the floor.
“You’re right about that.” She walks around him, circling him like a predator. Because in a sense, that's exactly what she is. She crouches down onto the floor to speak in his ear. “You. Are. Nothing.”
Maxwell swallows down the lump in his throat as her words pierce his heart, and fill him with shame and understanding. He knows he isn’t worthy of love. That’s why his father never showed him any affection. That’s why Bertrand always looks ashamed of him. That’s why his friends and everyone else always look at him like he is a nuisance. “I know.”
“Good.” She grabs his chin roughly, forcing him to look in her eyes. “You think there is anyone out there who would love you?”
Max tries to fight the tears that sting his eyes. He doesn’t want her to see him cry. “N-no..”
She tightens her hold on his face, bringing him closer. “That’s right. No one but me. I’m the only one who would ever put up with you.” She sighs, releasing her grip on him, and standing up to her full height. Maxwell is still on the ground crouched over. “Although, sometimes I don’t know why I put up with you. It’s really a hardship. But..” She shrugs. “I guess that’s the problem with being too nice. I get saddled with all kinds of stray dogs and losers begging me to love them.”
Max cradles his head in his hands as his heart twists with shame.
“Tell me, Maxy. Why should I keep putting up with you? What do you do for me that could make it worthwhile to stay in your pathetic presence day in and day out?”
“I.. I don’t-”
“Because honestly..” she cuts him off with a shrug. “I think I’m pretty much done with you.”
“Wait, please don’t go, Amber.” Maxwell crawls toward her on his hands and knees, as panic courses through him. “Whatever I did.. I’m sorry. I’m so sorry! I’ll try to do better!” Maxwell has tears falling freely at this point and is clutching at his girlfriend's pant legs in an effort to keep her from leaving him.
She kicks him away with a scowl. “Typical.”
Max wipes his tears across the back of his sleeve. “Amber, I’m so sorry. I don’t know what I did that made you mad, but I promise I’ll never do it again!”
Amber lets out a condescending laugh. “What you did!? What you did, Maxy, was exist. You’re a weak, beta loser! God, it’s no wonder no one wants to be around you! Look at you begging like a pathetic little bitch!”
Max lets out a sob as they go through their almost daily routine. Amber didn’t used to be this way. When she first moved into Ramsford with him, things were great. She used to say sweet things to him and they used to be happy. But one day, things changed.
“I know I’m pathetic, just please don’t leave me! Please give me another chance.”
Amber rolls her eyes and drops down into a chair a few feet away before pulling out her phone. Max, still on the ground, crawls closer. “I need you, Amber. You’re right! I know no one else loves me! I.. don’t want to go back to being alone.”
She sighs and puts her phone down on the table. She taps her cheek in thought while Max looks up at her with wide, hopeful, terrified eyes. After a while she lets out a groan. “I can’t believe I’m saying this, but.. Fine.”
“Really!?” Max throws himself forward, laying his head on her lap and hugs her tightly. “Thank you!”
“Ugh!” Amber pushes him away with a scowl, but Max is smiling brightly through his tears. “I hate being so nice. This is your last chance, Maxy.”
“Ok! Ok! I promise I’ll do whatever you say! I’ll try to go quicker next time you need something!” Max is still grinning like a kid in a candy shop. “I love you so much Amber!”
“Then go get me a glass of Moscato and a piece of that cheesecake your brother bought.” Amber shoos him away like a fly. “Just hurry up this time.”
Maxwell jumps to his feet, wiping the stray tears on the back of his hand as he hurries downstairs into the kitchen.
Maybe, just maybe, this time he’ll be enough to keep her from wanting to leave again. Maybe if he tries hard enough, things will go back to the way they used to be.
Maybe one day he’ll be happy.

Having someone express care for or attraction toward us can be enormously triggering when we've been conditioned to believe we're not worthy of positive attention--or that "positive" attention is just a setup to take advantage of us. Easy does it. Slow things down inside.

It actually already hurts to death seeing any guy that i find nice because i immediately think: "Oh that's another one who wouldn't want me." There's absolutely no boy who ever liked me back. Absolutely no one.

The right-wing tabloid controlled by Rupert Murdoch slammed former President Donald Trump's "damning" inaction during the Capitol riot.
The New York Post’s editorial board slammed former President Donald Trump in a Friday editorial that called him “unworthy” to hold office again following his “damning” silence surrounding the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol attack.
“As his followers stormed the Capitol, calling on his vice president to be hanged, President Donald Trump sat in his private dining room, watching TV, doing nothing,” the editorial begins. “For three hours, seven minutes.”
The editorial by the right-wing tabloid, controlled by longtime Trump supporter Rupert Murdoch, follows the Jan. 6 House select committee’s investigation into Trump’s inaction, which on Thursday laid out Trump’s unwillingness to call off the violence.
“Trump only wanted one thing during that infamous afternoon: to pressure Vice President Mike Pence to decertify the election of Joe Biden,” the editorial board said. “He thought the violence of his loyal followers would make Pence crack, or delay the vote altogether.”
