What kind of music do you listen to? I'm trying to find better / new music to listen to!

Music is my lifeblood honestly.

I used to listen to mainstream music but listening to that wasn't good for my spirit and I could feel it so I switched to mainly Christian music. I say mainly because I still listen to indie / alternative. I still listen to mainstream indie / alternative because it tends to be a lot more authentic and doesn't have lyrics pertaining to the same destructive narratives but I listen to Christian indie / alternative too. And when I say Christian music, I'm not talking about your momma's Sunday playlist. I'm talking about lit, hip-hop, r&b, edm Christian music. I don't miss the mainstream music in those categories at all!! So besides indie / alternative, I listen to Christian hip-hop, afrobeats, r&b, edm, etc. I'll share some of my favorite artists so you have a starting off point!
