look rui is a smart dumbass and tsukasa once tried to comfort a little girl by yelling “HEY GIRL!! I AM WORLD FUTURE STAR!! DANCE!! AND!! SING!!!” and can you guess what happened. it. it didn’t work.

I don't know a lot of the Project Sekai lore actually but from what I've heard from my mutual these two are both absolute fools.

Zuke has a masters degree, but the moment he's paired up with Mayday literally all his braincells go on vacation. They lose a music competition and find out it was rigged and unfair so they decide to care of the problem at its source: by taking out the entire government. They are so blinded by hate for unfair power imbalances and love for rock music and fucking shit up they ask 0 questions and follow some shady guy's orders to break a bunch of stuff, including a 6yo's piano. no thoughts heads empty.

Because they are different types. Zuke is socially a dumbass and Mayday doesn’t know what Pluto is

Mayday said ass on public tv, Zuke has a really long annoying rap battle which made 100% the game a pain in the ass. WHY IS DK WEST 2 9 MINUTES LONG?! ZUKE YOU ARE KIDDING ME RIGHT??? Mayday gets sad that a boyband became ugly (they were robots) and Zuke said "good". Mayday destroyed not one but two TVs. I made this a clip btw. This one scene

Fight, fight, fight!

Info: Back when uquiz was still a big thing, i made one where the fun optional question at the end was to tell me about a character that that you associate with your own queer awakening, so of course i had to get all autistic about it and made an excel sheet of the results even though i received over 3000 replies. Thought this would make a fun poll tourney too so here we are!

I might use some of the characters from that quiz (eg. Shego was the most common answer and I have a feeling she'll be submitted quite a bit here too) but feel free to submit some more please!

I say 'character' more often than not but your submission does not need to be a fictional character, eg. actors and musicians may be submitted.

The character submitted does not need to be queer themselves, you just need to associate them with your own queerness/awakening.

'Queer awakening' is a broad statement. They could be a character you had a gay crush on, a character that gave you gender envy, or even a character that you remember get queer vibes from.

The tournament to see who the Ultimate Divorced Bisexual is (according to tumblr).

- Propaganda encouraged! You can submit posts, send an ask or tag me in propaganda :)

- Canon status (based on how they were submitted) is indicated by the initials under each character (eg. canon bisexual, not canon divorced = CB, NCD)

- This tournament is for individual characters not couples however ties will result in characters moving forward as a team

- This is for fun! So don't take it too seriously and BE NICE.

- characters do not have to be canonically bisexual or divorced, headcanons are accepted.

- I don't know every character/piece of media ever and any characters that were submitted have at least been entered into the preliminaries, but if any are particularly controversial please tell me, I don't want to be dealing with discourse if I can help it

- I will be unbiased on the posts containing polls and posting submitted propaganda with minimal comment however I will not be unbiased in other posts

criteria for submissions:

- if the character fishes for, like, their job or their survival or whatever then they're automatically eligible

- if it's not for their job or survival, but it's established that they do it relatively regularly anyway, they're automatically eligible

- characters who just fish occasionally, or like Once, have a good chance of being included based on if the fishing is somehow important (or if i think they're cool)

- player characters from video games with fishing mechanics/fishing minigames are automatically eligible

- i won't be pedantic about the scientific definition of Fish. a character who hunts for sharks or sea monsters or whales or whatever is still good to go

- no real people, fictional characters only (unless you can make a funny and/or compelling case for why they, an objectively Real Person, should be considered a character, like the person who submitted jeremy wade from river monsters)

- don't know if it's necessary to say this, but the submissions so far have been overwhelmingly men, so: anglers of all genders are welcome! i am using "fisherman" as a vague gender neutral term

other rules and stuff:

- i reserve the right to exclude any submission from the tourney based on my own personal judgment. most submissions will probably be included though

- you can submit multiple characters but only submit each one once

- propaganda about the characters is not only allowed but ENCOURAGED. throw it in my askbox or the tag #fisherman fight 2023

i havent seen any polls for faceless/unseen face characters so i made one. feel free to submit anyone who your mind sees as faceless, and give me a good reason for why you'd consider them faceless, because even if I wouldn't think of them as faceless, i might just accept them because of your explanation!

rules for submission: - no real people. - any media is accepted although i will have final jurisdiction over who i want in the tournament. - no OCs are allowed. - multiple submissions are allowed. - character must be faceless in their media. we do not know what they truly look like, or they do not have a face at all. metaphorical facelessness does not count, such as podcast characters with no set design, or a character who is only mentioned/heard from and we never actually see (unless they are SAID to have no face/always wear a mask). - if a character’s face can be seen in concept art, or by clipping into their face in a game, or only ONE part of their face is seen in a couple instances (ex: only one eye), or we know what an actor’s face actually looks like, this still counts as a faceless character. if you cannot or would not have seen their face in typical circumstances, they are a faceless character.

i was mostly inspired to make this by these other tourney blogs and just bc i thought it'd be fun to host one, so go give them a look if you're curious (and maybe give me a lil boost pweese <:3?)
