Me: I am NOT making a border and giving Dead Paps a nickname for the blog, he’s a totally one off thing and that’s that...I don’t need TWO Dusttale Paps on the blog...

Anyway He’s getting his own Tag and nicknamed Spirit to match Ghost currently on the blog

- Paps but DEAD

- Filled with regretti and very upsetti

- Lingering Spirit who refuses to move on due to feeling guilty for all the monsters his brother has killed. Blames himself for being unsuccessful in talking his brother down, or even physically fighting and stopping his brother. Also promised to watch over his bro....and wants to wait for Sans to join him in the afterlife. 

- Mostly hangs out in Grillby’s Bar with Grillby drowning his sorrows in ghostly milkshakes (How does that work? No one knows)

- Becomes more and more guilty and sad as more monsters end up at Grillby’s after they die

While Im at it, maybe finally post SOMETHING for this asshole, though there isn’t much at all for him...

- Angry Spirit or Hallucination/Manifestation created by Sans? The world may never know

- Seems to only float around and speak to Sans (Specifically Dusttale Sans)

I like how I somehow ended up with TWO Dusttale Paps on the blog xD even if one isn’t serious...maybe. 

You got Sad Dead boy that’s just hangin out with Grillby and the other dead monsters his brother has killed. 

And then there’s this asshole that may or may not be a spirit or a hallucination.

[I mentioned How Papyrus will refuse sleep to the point of Crashing in a previous Headcanon post. But I felt like mentioning the different AU boys and how they handle sleep issues...cause pretty much, nearly ALL of them “Crash” in some way..

First, to sum up...’What is a Crash?’

A Crash happens when Paps has refused sleep for days, forced himself to stay awake by keeping busy, to the point where his body physically shuts down and forces him to sleep. Usually this ends up with him shutting down like an old computer and just...falling over, passed out asleep for a while. So how do each of the boys handle crashes?]

- Orange is probably one of the Few Versions of Paps that DOESN’T crash..simply because he actually sleeps...and sleep A LOT. No crashing for him. Instead he’ll just depress sleep for days at a time when the sad hits. 

- Most of Edge’s sleep troubles are simply because it’s hard to relax in his world, and constantly living on edge. So his refusal to sleep is mostly a survival tactic. Unlike Normal Papyrus...Edge has LEARNED what his limit is for sleep and knows not to force past it because passing out unwillingly just anywhere can and will lead to death. He knows when he’s about to crash, and will stop everything to go home and sleep for a bit. 

- 2P’s refusal to sleep is mostly because he doesn’t want to....he think’s its boring...well on the outside anyway. Deep down he has trouble sleeping from constantly feeling anxious/terrified...but he won’t tell his brother that. He only sleeps well enough with 1S around to hold onto. He has no idea he crashes, and honestly his crashes just result in him nodding off during the more boring tests Gaster gives him (Anything involving reading or writing.) Basically he gets just enough sleep to keep from completely crashing.

- Horror is one of the few exceptions. He does actually try to sleep more then his normal counterpart...simply because you can’t be hungry if your sleeping. Plus with how messed up his body has gotten, he hopes that resting and recovering at night will keep it from getting worse. If by chance he can’t get any sleep and DOES crash...much like his normal counterpart, he just shuts down and falls over...lucky its easy enough to just hear this behemoth falling over...

- Ghost being well...a ghost (possibly a figment of Sans imagination), he doesn’t require sleep at all! BUT, he does have his own means of “Crashing”, which usually just means he’ll vanish completely for a short while with no real explanation.

- Babybones (Child Paps), Spike (Mobian), and Tango (Dancetale) all three Crash the same way Normal paps does...simply shutting down and falling over on their feet. Although what keeps them up varies. Babybones is a child and simply refuses sleep. Tango keeps himself busy perfecting his dance moves. And Spike is probably not sleeping because he’s working a Guard job and is taking it way too seriously (aka refusing to leave even when he’s done for the day..)
