#Doodles #For the record this is all on the same page lol #Basically a full year of going ''Oh this paper's so nice I wish I could use it'' lol #Unfortunately there was a pretty serious batch error that I didn't notice when I first picked it up :( #It's from my favourite brand so I was like ''Oh it'll be fine! I know I like this paper already!'' #Always - check. Always check! #The lines were printed wobbly and askew (so not perpendicular) and there was a crease down the right side of most pages #It's still an absolute treat to work with but editing is a lot more difficult with those errors #So I thought I was just going to have to scrap more than half of a notebook! D: #(Since I'd already drawn on a few pages up to those batch errors) #But then came the Scratch Pages idea to save the day! Lol #I have gotten a lot of utility out of this notebook after all! I'm not as gentle or careful with it as my current-main notebook #I can be a little rougher and keep the guidelines or not colour since it's all intended to be cleaned up later anyhow :) #Although all the scratch comics are up on my Patreon currently lol - I got a lot of mileage out of the concept >:3c #Plus a few of them have ended up here after all lol - most things with lines lately have been from this notebook #I'm definitely going to be using this method going into the future too! More Assorted Star Swap thoughts, this time about part 6 (with Jonathan being swaped in for Jolyne) For the brief time that he is part of  the story, part 6 Jotaro will be experiencing…. Emotions, that’s for sure. He enters Green Dolphin feeling prepared. Get in, rescue his daughter, and maybe beat up a few of Dio’s goons on the way out. 

And then instead he has to deal with this:

Jonathan: So, there’s no easy way to say this Mr. Kujo, but my name is actually Jonathan Joestar, and I seem to be… possessing your daughter’s body.

Jotaro: ….

Jonathan: Mr. Kujo?

Jotaro: …

Jotaro has been dealing with stand bullshit (trademarked) for years, so he probably isn’t that surprised by anything anymore, but he definitely doesn’t wasn’t expecting this.  Why is his great-great-grandfather’s mind inside of his daughter’s body? More importantly, where is his daughter’s mind? Unfortunately, Jonathan doesn’t have the answer. Even more unfortunately, Jotaro can never gets the time to figure this out before he gets his memories and stand stolen. 

And Jonathan… I think he’d be a little hesitant about going back to Green Dolphin after the escape. Sure, he wants to stop evil, and that fact that these people, all the way in the distant future of 2011, are apparently servants of Dio, doesn’t sit well with him.

But on the other hand, he is endangering a body that isn’t his. This girl, who apparently is one of his descendants, didn’t ask for any of this. Who is he to make this decision for her, to throw her body into danger like this? (Being unaware of the fact that Jolyne would be just as willing to throw herself into danger)

Obviously, the rest of the Star Swap Stone Ocean needs to happen, so Jonathan’s desire to stop Dio’s evil overcomes his concerns, but I still think Jonathan ends up being much more careful and defensive during fights. Not because he’s worried for his own life, but because he doesn’t know when he’s going to switch back, and he wants Jolyne’s body to be as good as new when that happens.

luckily/unluckily he recognizes the fact that there is nowhere near enough time nor it is safe enough to stay here and ask questions, so he decides to go ahead with his plan to get "Jolyne" out and to the Foundation. After all, they deal with all sorts of magical fuckery, they might know what to do here

the escape is definitely Awkward since their of them really know what to say, but you're abslutely right in that Jonathan freaks out a bit when he learns but canon does go the same way with Jotaro getting his brain and Stand yoinked and him going comatose

and just. OUGH I love the idea of Jonathan hesitating to go back. His morals are gonna be clashing so freaking hard because on one hand there is a lot of danger inside those walls and he doesn't want to endager Jolyne, but on the other he doesn't want to abandon Mr.Kujo like this. The man came here to save his daughter, and he's now in a state like death because of how he wasn't the woman he came for (ofc, this is how canon would have gone but Jonathan doesn't know that :3c)

First and foremost, they’re all absolute sweethearts to me.

There are my irl friends, such as @wretchedshade, @granolabird, @siriuscitrus and @scales-of-stardust or beta as I usually refer to them. I share the same braincell with these people.

Wretchedshade has been my best friend since we were ten, we’ve been there for each other for 11 years. I initially got her into anime, and then she got me into jojo, and every once in a while we cry about Doukyuusei again. She’s a great artist and is really good at writing sad shit, which is why I write sad shit; to have the glory of finally making her cry. She kicked cancer’s teeth in a few months ago so it’s about goddamn time something good come her way and I WILL fight someone on that.

Granolabird is the dm for my dnd campaign, and like I said, absolute sweetheart, chaotic adhd haver (actually like most of my friend group is like this lmao we’re all queer and neurodivergent). Either way, we used to share thoughts on each other’s original stories, and we still do sometimes but it’s mostly just sending each other tiktoks/reels like “this you” or “this your oc.”

Siriuscitrus is usually pretty hyper, but also tries to be v considerate of everyone’s feelings. If you said that the McDonald’s employee put pickles on your burger when you said no, they’d probably be the one to tell them. They’re also scarily good at vibechecking people and told me I give “future he/they vibes” and like a week later I said “fuck you’re right oh my god.”

You’ve probably seen me and beta’s interactions on here or in the ao3 comments. We enjoy our like playful rivalry/enemyship. I like to torment tease her and she usually gets me back pretty good, it’s all in good fun. It’s also really funny to me whenever we meet up, I tell myself “you are friends with them for reasons other than fic so do not make it about fic” and then we’ll spend literally hours talking about and brainstorming fic ideas. It just Happens.

I’m also gonna add @memory-mortis into here because while we’ve not met irl I’ve introduced him to my friend group. Yet another sweetheart, love her art style a lot, and she was one of the first comments I got on ginkgo trees to motivate me to keep going. I was kinda worried about bringing him into my friendgroup because like if I’m not overthinking I am not thinking At All. I was super relieved and happy that she like IMMEDIATELY fit in with everyone so :D

For some of my other close but only on tumblr/ao3/outside my general friendgroup mutuals! (There are too many so I’m sorry if you’re not here it’s mostly people I interact with more regularly ;-;)

@crimson-ashes who I have occasionally with absolute love called my “askbox gremlin” because they live in my inbox. I need to stress this is affectionate because genuinely, I love opening tumblr and seeing I’ve got asks from them. They gotta stop posting Astarion though because I’m feeling So Tempted to play BG but I know my laptop would kill itself (joking).

@crystalflygeo and I know I’ve called everyone sweethearts but genuinely, she’s probably one of the sweetest people I’ve had the pleasure of talking to. She’s really wholesome (unlike her writing which is never gonna be a complaint in my book, good soup) and super supportive of other people.

@madamemachikonew who’s super polite and really kind. She’s also really creative/smart when it comes to referencing real world art and philosophy in her writing and integrating it into her own worldbuilding. I would have never thought to have done that, and it makes her writing very unique!

We don’t interact as much but @probably-doesnt-exist, @ethve, @euniveve and @ainescribe are such talented artists and super sweet, have literally made me screech and cackle with utter joy whenever they draw the characters from ginkgo trees. I rotate through which art becomes my phone’s lock/home screens.

This is long af but fuck it, I wanna brighten people’s days and I told myself to say “I love you” to my friends and family more, so consider this one big “I love you!” to y’all. It’s a pleasure talking to y’all!

It’s my Shang Qinghua superwhump fic with an overlaying plot that evolved from a one shot I had written one morning over coffee before work a few years ago. I never anticipated it growing into something of this scale. Through this fic, I’ve been able to explore certain characters and their motivations and behaviors in ways I wouldn’t in other stories. It’s great fun for me <3

Shakespeare in the Park (Skyrim) Dominic Moriah (OC)

My good old insert-OC Dominic and his adventures in Skyrim, transmigration gamer style. This one is a story I’ve been working off and on for YEARS and I still have so much planned for it. I’ve barely even started m. The fact i have gotten so many comments on this fic along the lines of “I don’t even go here (skyrim) but I love this story” is mind boggling. I hope my writing was able to inspire someone to play the game at least once 👀

Plus, Dominic as a character is just so much fun to write. And, gratifyingly, I have been told he’s also very fun to read.

Ah, my baby. One of my most successful fics ever. Topping the charts of my statistics. Raking in the bread (I wish lmao).

The fact that this story, too, started from just a one shot of a vague idea I had one day and somehow snowballed into this absolute monstrosity that so many people love is what I live for as a writer. So many people nuts enjoy reading about sick baby Kakashi tumbling blindly through his own time travel fix-it, and it breathes life into me every day.

Genuinely I am so proud of the way I’ve written this story. I can reread it and come across barely any points in which I feel like rewriting, which is rare! The pacing, the emotion, the character voices, the implications of future plot points… I wanna chef kiss myself with tongue for the great job I’ve been doing with this story.

Plus, the amount of people who have raged at me for making them cry with this one specifically is how I survive in this cold and cruel world 💖

What if Lloyd gets to stay in the Frontera fiefdom and a few years passed already until suddenly a new wave of monsters or war are happening at the far side of the kingdom and Alicia is calling all knights and soldiers would you think Javier would participate here and leave?

OHHH so many juicy thought experiments today!!

Now keep in mind that I havent gotten to the end of the novel (just read ch 370/408 today in fact), so there may be future events that may change my mind BUT WITH THAT CAVEAT OUT OF THE WAY-

Honestly? If Queen Alicia is at the point of calling up Javier for reinforcement, it must be pretty damn bad. Strategically, Javier is the equivalent of a nuclear fucking bomb.

Swordmasters were so important that the mere presence of one deterred invasions from other nations, and the presence of several even outshines the strength of a regional military.

Javier isn't a swordmaster. He's a grandmaster. If you want to use your nuke, you need to take it away from elsewhere. So the border of the Sultan kingdom would be potentially open to attacks with the biggest threat moved away. It may behoove the Queen to leave Javier behind as a giant defensive wall to cover her back as she attacks the front lines with literally everything else.

Buuuuuuut. If she thought she needed Javier... he does have a fast ride to finish things quickly - Draggy. A grandmaster and a bone dragon arriving at bullet speed would be quite the blow to any amount of monsters. And goodness, Lloyd can't just let Javier take Draggy out without him, he'd better join on the strategy side too (lol).

If the question was about Javier's loyalty, we already know that Javier will disobey the Queen to stay with the Frontera's. The struggle of the people on the other side of the kingdom may pain him, but... Javier may be an excellent and noble knight, but he's loyal to one family only, and that family is not where the peril is.

(Maybe he'd try to convince Lloyd to have the Frontera's join the cause? But he wouldn't leave without either Arcos or Lloyd telling him to, no matter what the Queen demands.)

If you're looking for juicy drama due to Javier being called away, you may want to set your scene before he becomes a grandmaster and Draggy joining. For that delicious angst about power level differences ;3c Javier has already rebuffed the Queen nearly the moment we meet her, but if the County doesn't have enough of a reputation in the story yet, the Frontera's might not have a choice but give up Javier in an emergency.

I was thinking about the totems of undying in songbird's blood, and it got me thinking, is there any specific reason why we got told so much information about them?

If Scott owns totems of undying and they are banned from the council, what else does he own that he shouldn't?

Out of everything Scott has out on display (I'm going to assume there are other things on display because it would be a little strange just to have totems of undying being displayed).

Why did we get so much detail about how to obtain them and what they did if there were other things out in the open aswell?

Will they possibly save Grians life in the future?

Scott wants Grian dead, so let's just say hypothetically, Grian gets caught by Scott, and he is taken to Scotts house to be killed or whatever, but because Grian is Grian he is able to get out of wherever he was trapped at in Scotts house (We have seen Grian escape many dangerous situations shouldn't be to difficult to escape) But Grian is injured so it's difficult to escape so its far more easier for Scott to catch up to him and because Grian was being to much Scott just decides to try to end his life there but Grian somehow broke open of the display cases and was able to grab a totem of undying so he wouldent die and was able to escape and get help. (Also, Grian just has main character plot armor so he would find a way to beat around death anyways)

We know Grian knows what they will do and the price it costs to create one because Scott told him about it.

Another thing we could add to this is what if Grian was able to take one of those totem of undying back to Mumbo and Scar, would they be able to use it against Scott if they showed the council? If Scar spilled to Mumbo and Grian that Scott was pretty much manipulating Scar into doing horrible things to humans and "monsters," would they be able to use that against Scott aswell? We know the council doesn't want humans to know about them, so Scott, doing what he is currently doing, could possibly expose them. Scott can't lie about doing those things either because Scar has many years of proof to show how long it's been going on.

Anyways, sorry about the ramble. (Hopefully, it makes sense.) This all could be false, and my brain made it all up, but I just thought about this theory, so I wanted to share!

So, I have been a huge fan of @popatochisssp 's works and one of them is Mahou AU. When the idea was more fresh - back a year ago, I guess- people made Mahou!Sonas and guess what? I made one too, a bit late but I did.

Hero name: Rem

Theme: Figs

Rem's power consists on the hability of summoning bombs with the shape of a fig. These bombs cause no actual harm to the oponent; instead, its red smoke when inhalated can make the oponent relax against their will. If a few bombs are thrown at the same oponent, they could make them fall asleep, regardless of where they are. (For short, you could say they are sleep bombs)

->Rem backstory lore in a nutshell

AC discovered her mahou when she was a pre-teen. But she really didn't use it a lot. One day she accidentally got in middle of an protest and in this specific protest things got too heated. The pacific protest turned into a battle zone and she used her bombs against some people who went after her. When the police arrived to stop the fight, they caught her throwing a bomb on a group of people (and she accidentally threw one at an officer, may I add), which made her get jailed. BUT, due to her bombs being innofensive and her mahou, she got the choice of doing communitary service instead of going to jail. Her answer was obvious ;3

She decided to use Rem as her stage name once she officially turned into a hero. She is a reserve hero, which means she only goes to fight when nobody else can. Most of the time she helps cleaning the Heroes' Base, or she uses her bombs as analgesic to help hurt people in general, but mostly the ones who (Papy) treats.

Even though Rem "canon" timeline, I also imagined a timeline in which she turns into a villain. Totally not because me simps hsjdnskdm

This is basically a continuation of the hero timeline. Again, not a canon one, but one I hope to play with in the future.

In this timeline, Rem doesn't manage to fit in someone close to her got into an accident and went into a coma while she was working with the heroes. She lived worried and stressed. She was a hero, she could have saved them. Her coworkers could have saved them...

Her trust on the heroes was broken when the cause of the coma of her beloved one was revealed to be serious wounds made caused by mahou. They held that secret from her. And this situation made her hold them by arms length - and even made her wonder if they were protecting the identity of the attacker.

One day though, she was called on a mission. Everything went normally until she was "captured" by Scorch, the master of crime himself. Instead of a battlling, he had a chat with her. He was aware of her story, and basically lured her to go to his side, saying that, as a former hero, they did have the information about the attacker. He also added that if she helped him in his cause, they could make sure no one else would suffer the same fate as her beloved one.

Her silent suffering and her grief made the offer look acceptable enough. And that was how Rem, now Folie, teamed up with the Villains.

Here is the question: "7- What's one way your OC has changed since you first came up with them?"

Mybuza was probably one of the OCs that I changed more drastically over the years, I actually feel a bit embarassed with how they used to look but I try not to feel guilty because I was very young back then and had no idea of what I was doing. LOL Mybuza was basically Sakura with dark blue hair as I used to use Sakura screenshots to edit them. :'D They also barely had any backstory until much later, they were just used for personal rp purposes.

Notable changes were: Hairstyle, outfit and goals. Their personality has changed a bit but nothing that can be compared to the above, I kept a few of their personality traits. Mybuza also used to be a cis female and is now a non-binary.

I used to ship them with a friend's character who was Kiba's son back in the day but now I ship them with Mirai. They also used to want to be the future Hokage and now their dream is to be a good medical ninja! Lots of changes. eheh

So, VRAINS fandom, I have a surprise in the making! :3c

I’m in the process of creating a visual novel dating simulator, featuring the disaster trio in a high school setting, where the card game isn’t in the focus and only a handful of canon elements have been used.

The game takes place during one year of high school; the first for Yuusaku and Takeru, and the third for Ryouken. You choose to play as either of the three, with each of them having their own unique route. All three have the option during the story to date each other, as well as one more exclusive character each, but it’s possible to play the game without romance at all (no complete escape from the friendships, though, lol).

There are events that overlap between their routes, but they don’t play out the same necessarily, leaving room for new material to discover on replays. Events don’t always play out in the same order, either.

In case it hasn’t been clear, it’s a game for multi-shippers. I wouldn’t recommend it for the ones who might have one or more of the 6 ships presented as their NOTPs, since the options leading up to the ships aren’t always crystal clear.

Also, this will not be a project for profit, and will be available on PC and Mac (hopefully, also on Android, but no promises on that one). Because of some suggestive as well as darker themes, it’ll have a 16+ rating, but proper content warnings will be present at release.

When’s the release, you might ask? Who knows, I rely a lot on public domain assets, but this is still a one person project, meaning I’m alone with the art, script, design, programming and building. With the magnitude of the game’s estimated size, it’ll take time (especially since I’m far from an expert in coding and English isn’t my first language). But at the very least, I hope to release a small demo in a few months.

I have too many VP ideas HELP. I need to write them down somewhere where I'll find them again so here we go, what is a blog if not a notepad?

Done:

part one of an attempt at making a big edit - gonna be a set of four pics, revolving around Vince's Arasaka past and how merc life is honestly the same shit, just a different packaging (the project I mentioned earlier this week that I needed a lot of pics for XD it's also inpsired by a song that fits him so well that I've been listening to non-stop on repeat basically for two weeks now xD) ✅ done!!

the harness photoshoot: gonna make two photosets here too, one a bit more clothed than the other xD ✅done!! :D

Currently in progress/still need to edit:

A photoset of V through the years (inspired by several other's amazing takes on this <3) - headcanon/lore posts for the most important moments or timeframes in his life -> pics taken, still need editing and writing though xD

V showing Kerry some of his favourite places in the city and vice versa -> started this, but now I wanna write something for everything too and aaahh xD

Some pics to accompany the post-canon fic I spontaneously started writing -> have a couple taken already, need editing still

Part two of the big edit thingy from above: with more song lyrics that just hit the spot XD -> have a few pics taken but might scrap and redo them

Currently not started on these yet, but the ideas are not leaving my head and/or have been with me for a bit (some a lot more complex than others):

Dirtbike tour through the badlands, because hell yes - would like to incorporate this in a little fic somehow, post-canon but not too far in the future

Just V chilling with Nibbles in the penthouse garden - the grass may be fake, but I think it's been a while for both of them since they touched grass and they deserve some peace and happiness XD (might incorporate this in the same story/ time frame as the idea above - we'll see!)

Kinky Kings (I am tempted to change their ship name ngl xD but I think I'll keep it and do a cool photoshoot instead)

Some promotional pics (sorta) for Kerry's new album (potentially in black and white? I'm not sure yet but I'd really like to do a bw set!!)

Not really a big VP thingy, but I've wanted to do a headcanon post about Kerry's cyberware, what all of it is and does and when/how he got it/ had to get it - need close up pics for some of that though (and any excuse to look at Kerry for prolonged periods of time honestly)

A photo story/ fic with pics of "that one perfect morning" I mentioned in a oneshot once, meaning the morning after Boat Drinks - also ties in a bit with the "favourite places" idea) - I am also tempted to do this as a comic instead, but don't even get me started on my comic ideas and all that's in progress there... the day needs more hours!

Also I wanna do more spicy stuff :3c but no concrete ideas here yet (maybe I'll redo the window photoshoot some time because with the graphics update their reflections might look even nicer... we shall see though!)

OOOO DEFINITELY !!! nothing too complex or thought out but ive definitely got some thoughts on it >:)

first things first ultra despair girls is most certainly some kind of spinoff in this universe! so its not considered a main storyline/killing game however it is still on ongoing series! i imagine after 53 seasons the danganronpa timeline has been seriously fucked up and udg is absolutely one of the main reasons its so wonky, you can IMAGINE all of the conspiracy youtube videos trying to piece that shit together lmfaooooo. but yep udg is a running spinoff series starring toko, komaru, and the warriors of hope (who are teenagers in this au at this point!!). it also features a range of other villains and side characters that were introduced later on :] udg definitely isnt as popular nor is it as consistent in its production as the main danganronpa story is (while danganronpa has at least one season per year, udg has one maybe every three), but it still gets a whole lot of views !! which means toko and komaru are unfortunately in it for the long haul </3

they live seperate from each other however they're over at each others apartments so often that they basically live together LMFAO. they rely on each other SO so heavily. i personally think they have romantic feelings somewhere underneath their fear of losing each other to the mental trauma of danganronpa however there is NO WAY danganronpa would ever let them be a couple. the most theyre allowed to do is queerbait ghfdsjkghjkdf. if they confirm anything between the pair they are destroying an entire market of fans they can profit off of and also likely losing hella sponsorship money. its extremely difficult navigating a relationship like that, where they have become so heavily codependent on each other not only because their wellbeing relies on the other being healthy and well but also because they've grown so close it's impossible to imagine a future where the other isnt involved somehow. everything danganronpa has put them through, it has usually been TOGETHER, which means they've bonded through those experiences. is that healthy? absolutely the fuck it is not however there is no time or space to navigate that or to spend time away from each other (even if they wanted to, which they don't)!!

the pair stay relatively close with the warriors of hope-- or at least komaru does lmfaooo. like i said before the warriors of hope are teenagers at this point (honestly theyre probably mius age!! which sparks a lot of hypothetical interactions LMAO) so they dont really need babysitters or anything like that but because there are not very many people who could possibly understand what they've gone through they tend to stick together!! a few of them, at least. i imagine nagisa is a lot more distant and kotoko probably has other friends she talks to a whole ton :] people that arent constant walking reminders of her current and past traumas lol

komaru also doesnt talk to makoto as often anymore! they kind of keep in touch and definitely see each other at press conferences and all that, but the relationship has become somewhat strained. its a bit awkward knowing they arent actually related!! theyre still kind to each other and care about each other like actual siblings but its hard not to feel sad around the other unfortunately :(

and toko definitely doesnt talk to byakuya much anymore besides the occasional promotional material LMFAO. they dont despise each other but both have done a lot of growing and a lot of that included distancing themselves from each other

Like the little shit they are, instead of genuinely listing fun facts, they would remove their prosthetic jaw and just show you their entire missing lower jaw. Enjoy the view!

If they were to give an honest list, it would include their sabotage skills, the number of inquest devices they've wrecked (they do keep count), and how many times they've cheated death!

11. Obligation or initiative, why do they do what they do? Is there something/someone specific that motivates them? (bonus: has their motivation changed over the years?)

Little shit energy!!! Their entire job is infiltrating inquest labs, stealing data, then wrecking machinery so badly it can't be salvaged. And they're amazing at this, they love being a hazard and nuisance! It's a very constructive way for them to channel their need to keep busy and fuck with people, much more constructive than how the OOW first met them after they messed with a couple waypoints.

18. Past, present, future - what do they think about most?

Present! They live in the moment, whatever was yesterday doesn't matter now and whatever's tomorrow they'll deal with when it arrives.
