Okay, Pile 1, this is obviously someone with a ton of masculine energy. If you couldn't tell! But, when they enter into this relationship with you, they're going to be more balanced than they have been in the past. I get the feeling that you've known them for a while or seen them at a less evolved version of themselves. To be with you, they need to be in their King energy. And it doesn't matter if they're a guy or a gal. They will have matured into a better version of themselves. So, if there's someone you're thinking of who you feel you wouldn't want to be with, based on their past behavior, try not to judge them on their former self. It's funny because that's not too obvious here. Like I don't see Death or Judgement or a card that would indicate that. Maybe you're not at all expecting that they've changed or grown and this is going to take you by surprise. If there's history here, whatever happened moved them into a big room in the old doghouse. The way this relationship starts is by this person wanting you. BADLY. Not in a psychotic way. It's just that they will be manifesting you in. Pile 3, I definitely feel like this is someone you already know. There could currently be a separation going on with them or just a situation where they are not getting much attention from you. Yet, you are only treating them the same way they have treated you. Once again, I am sensing a Divine Masculine individual. This makes sense because most people in a reader's collective end up being Divine Feminines, especially since most readers are very feminine (including me). But, take it as it resonates! I am sure some masculines are hanging out here, too. And, of course, those labels are dependent on energy, not gender or sexual orientation. Anyway, this is a very masculine individual, I feel, with a significant Air influence (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius). They live in their mental body and are not good at expressing their emotions.

Okay, just in general, I really love the energy of this reading overall. Some really powerful and beautiful connections are coming through in all of the piles. This feels like another soulmate/divine counterpart situation. And I wouldn't just say that! But, these kinds of connections can also get messy and confusing, as both people can trigger the other and act out their issues in very chaotic ways. This Might Hurt Tarot deck review

From the moment I opened the box I could feel the beautiful energy of the deck, so much joy and light, I was rendered speechless. The brilliant creator is Isabella Rotman, a cartoonist and illustrator from the U. S.

Reading her bio on the deck's website, I loved how she says that she created the deck because she was learning tarot and drawing is her way to learn, this resonated so much with me, the desire to create it because you need it in your own language and then, the hope to be able to help others understand it as well by publishing it. Amazing.

This Might Hurt Tarot is a RWS based deck with a modern twist visible in clothing, scenery and the appearance of more diverse characters with a wider range of age, skin color, body types and more. I'm also quite happy on how Queerness is so loving and effortlessly expressed.

There are the 78 standard cards and an extra card was created for the Liminal 11 version of the deck called "This might hurt/ This might help" which is of great help when asking for clarification on a reading.

The card illustrations are stunning, bright colors and beautiful shading that gives them a feel of captures of a moment rather than just a still drawing.

I've been using them for over a week now and they shuffle quite smoothly, the images on the cards are very readeable in the sense that anyone without any knowledge of the tarot can understand the message of the card, the expression a picture is worth 1000 words is quite true in this deck.

My favourite cards are the knights, I feel like the perfect way to modernize the symbology of the knight is with riders, in medieval times the knights were the ones fighting in the wars and in this day and age, where the wars are mostly fought in our minds agains outdated structures that suffocate our souls, the riders are out there challenging our limiting beliefs and encouraging us to seek the freedom to live our truth.

I recommend this deck to everyone in all tarot levels, with great clarity of the symbolic language the This Might Hurt Tarot deck will help you go deeper into the layers of yourself until you're faced with your higher truth.
