I'm in love with this DVD menu screen of the Devil wears Prada. The still image of Meryl Streep, the wacky music, the white vignette.

I have yet to watch Severance, but I sww a trailer and could relate to it a lot as I have been having recurring dreams about my 9 to 5 office job lately and nothing else. I get this exact vibe at my job.
I'm tempted to finally work on my officesoft album from 2019 again.

Finished watching The School for Good and Evil on Netflix… and was in for a shock when I saw that the composer for the film’s music/score was Theodore Shapiro.
As in the VERY same composer for the score of the Captain Underpants film.
I was NOT expecting that.
Man what these book to film book adaptations have in common these days….

Simon Stålenhag and Theodore Shapiro should do a collab for Severance season 2. The Electric State breaths Severance energy.

Theodore Shapiro - Main Titles (Severance OST) I binge-watched this Apple TV+ series last weekend and I can’t stop thinking about it. So great. The music by Theodore Shapiro is an excellent accompaniment to the sinister, weird, and dystopian world of Lumen Corporation. The theme’s simple piano notes cast a chilling and slightly melancholy quality that I think TOTALLY fits the feeling of the show. In “Severance” we follow a group of office workers led by main character Mark Scout (played expertly by Adam Scott) who have opted to have a “severance” procedure of having a chip installed in their brains to separate their work life from the personal life. I loved this show so much! You can listen to the Theodore Shapiro soundtrack on Spotify here. I also see that Dave at Low Lights Mixes has done a tribute mix to the tv show which I also think is really fantastic. Check it out!

Under Rageous
Pictures found on Pinterest for concept on the under city and woods that surround it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Read here for Under Rageous Backstory
Under Rageous is the city below the cloud line of Mount Rageous, they are known as the working districts.
Rageouns that live in Under Rageous differ in look than that of the Rageouns in the upper atmosphere. It began with the isolation of those “defected”. Unfortunately, as time went by, those in Under Rageous are in arms way when it comes to the toxic waste released by Mount Rageous…and of their own doing. It has cause mutations to the people of Under Rageous as generations go by. Read here Under Rageouns.
Mount Rageous is already deprived of natural light as it’s hidden in the clouds. The under city hardly has any light as the upper atmosphere blocks out or absorbs what ever little light can come through. Most of the under city is dependent on artificial light, giving it a cybernetic feel.
Like the upper atmosphere, they are heavily reliant on technology. Though they are not equipped with the newest or most updated (it all gets sent to Mount Rageous) they make do with what they got.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Being the working district’s, everything is manufactured in the under city. It is the source of Mount Rageous’ most valuable resources of jewels and elements. The under city doesn’t see a dime of these resources, yet its inhabitants work day and night. They are able to scrap what leftovers they can get, but it’s hardly enough. Instead of school, work is taught as a trait at a young age. Many children are off on their own by 17 since their families can hardly afford to be keeping them in the house. Many at the age (rather any age) seek extra work in what is called The Pit. Bounties are placed here in which dangerous jobs pay handsomely. These jobs can come from within Under Rageous or sent by someone desperate from the upper city. Many of these jobs take the people out to the dangerous Rageous Woods to collect resources.
A black market runs in the under city that illegally collect valuable items to see in amount Rageous. One of these valuable resources is Troll. Under Rageous are know to absorb their essence, a trait that some of the upper atmosphere want. Those in the under city sell Trolls at a handsomely large price… it’s the one resource the upper city cannot get full control of.
Read here Under Rageous Trolls
The law here is as shifting and uncertain as its people. Many follow the “defend your own motto” causing its people to form some sort of factions to protect themselves from one another. Most of the time these factions can coexist peacefully, distributing and dividing work that is essential and fitting, but there are times where the heads of the factions bicker, causing turf wars here and there.
Sounds of Under Rageous

Rageous Woods
The Rageous Woods are a perfect example of abused nature. The woodlands surrounding Rageous have been deprived of natural resources as those in Under Rageous salvage and salvage. Meanwhile, the upper atmosphere tends to dispose of its toxic waste unruly, causing a sort of mutation in the woods and its creatures.
As time went by, the Rageous Woods has been deemed as one of the most dangerous in the lands. Its creatures there are nothing like anyone has seen, nothing compared to the colorful creatures that surrounded the Troll world, or the gloomy creatures of the Bergen world. The creatures are vicious. It’s unknowing if it is in their nature or something mutated in them by the toxic waste.
It has been deprived of its beauty. As generations went by, Rageouns have lost the sight of what nature is, being born and raised in an artificial world. It has become a topic of myth.
The Rageous woods is where Floyd had first ended up when he ventured out alone. He eventually made it to the gates of Under Rageous where he would then be found by Velvet and Veneer.

Nab's Nightmare Time 4 lineup!
Helloooo everyoneeee! A while ago on the Halloween livestream, Nick revealed the episode listing for Nightmare Time 3! And he said that eeeevvvvveeeerryyyyonneeeee must go give NMT2 a watch if we could even dream about getting these amazing episodes! So that got me thinking... what if I write my own NMT concepts for if season 3 does well and we might get a season 4? And here's what I got based off of all sorts of other posts and inspiration I got from none other then you guys!
P.E.I.P.S (an extra long stand alone for the pilot, around the same length as Honey Queen)
Being two of PEIP’S top undercover field agents is hard work for Dan Reynolds and Donna Daggit. Especially when you live in none other then Hatchetfield, Michigan. The two under cover news anchors were both sent to investigate all the strange happenings in the small town, and when they suddenly discover something off about a certain pocket squirrel they were reporting on and it's owner.. well, it's time for the two of them to step back into action, to save the entire town and possibly even the world.
(Note: I may or may not be writing a fanfic about this one)
2. Fuck Clivesdale! and Spankoffskis Through Time (2 separate segmented episodes)
GO NIGHTHAWKS! Everyone in Hatchetfield hates Clivesdale to the very core, especially none other then Paul Matthews, average office worker at CCRP's Hatchetfield branch. But when him and his coworkers (all except Ted, that lucky bastard) are sent to none other then Hatchetfield's rival town on a business, Paul's coworkers start getting more and more... indoctrinated into Clivesdale's odd ideology, and now he has to figure out why... and not go insane in the process.
Peter Spankoffski is a nerd. And Theodore 'Ted' Spankoffski is a horny bastard. Pete never thought highly of his brother, but when he, due to a slip of speech, suddenly discovers a time machine in his locker, he's thrown back to none other then Hatchetfield, 2002.. also known as his dear brother's senior year at Hatchetfield High School. And now, Pete and his nerdy older brother must figure out how to get the younger Spankoffski home.. or else he's trapped in 2002.
3. Spectre Sweetly and Problem Cops (2 separate segmented episodes)
Charlotte Sweetly hasn't admitted it yet, but her husband is a real scumbag. Sam never comes home, never does any chores when he is, and doesn't even bother to cuddle her! But when Charlotte discovers Sam's infidelity (and is still recovering from a rather traumatic business trip).. Well, she can't control herself anymore. After burying the body in the Witchwood, Charlotte starts having a lot more.. assistance from a mysterious force.. but it can't be who she thinks she is? Right?
Officer William Bailey and Detective Bryce Shapiro have a problem on their hands... Hatchetfield's been real messed up lately! Way more then usual! With the recent disappearances of Peter Spankoffski, Peanuts the Hatchetfield Pocket Squirrel, his Proud Papa Ed, Paul Matthews and now their police sargent Sweetly, Hatchetfield's best really had their work cut out for them! But when they're approached by couple of certain news anchors, maybe their questions will be solved after all...
And our finale...
4. Idk what to name this one you guys (full length finale)
After almost dying at the paws of a squirrel, Dan and Donna need to work fast. Hatchetfield is in big, big, trouble. Bigger then it has been before. With Bailey and Shapiro gone, the two of them are now on their own. But when Peanuts's plans also happen to be discovered by a certain school counseler.. huh, maybe they can stop him after all. So together with Ms. Holloway, the news duo now face down Hatchetfield's greatest horrors until they reach the strongest one: Peanuts the Hatchetfield Pocket Squirrel.
As you can see, the episodes are pretty intertwined! Similarly to NMT2, all of my hypothetical NMT4 will take place in the same universe. The chronological order is the release order, and I tried to be semi-canon compliant and gave this season less of a focus on the LiB and more on Hatchetfield's greater mysteries (Don't worry. They're still there... lurking).
So! What do you guys think? Let me know!
