To quote Dani, “Clyde , Vlad, and Winnie, Alice’s brother-in-law, niece and nephew, knew about Bendy’s shit and wanted to try and put a stop to it. They don’t know Alice knew.”

Well... That’s only half-true. Clyde ABSOLUTELY  knows about Alice’s involvement/lack of intervention. And honestly? He’s hurt but he’s not surprised either. He mostly blames his brother & Joey. He knows the kind of woman Alice is and the things she’s been through. She’s like a sister to him. But Clyde’s priorities lie in his children and their future. 

So... Why hasn’t he done anything about Alice if he knows that she’s involved so far. Because he believes that she’s not a real threat... yet. He knows Alice. She’s not gonna hurt him or the kids, or at the very least he believes that she hasn’t reached that point yet and won’t reach it for a long time. 

So? He keeps her at arm’s length. He knows better than to mention any plans or project for the eventual take down of his brother’s cult and destroying Joey Drew’s legacy once and for all. Then and only then can he and his family move on to a brighter future. He’ll smile, have tea with her, shoot the breeze, go shopping, etc. But when the time comes she might have to choose a side. And as long she stays out of the way, he won’t make her make that decision.

[ Hey! I’m in a pain mood and a Clyde mood so let’s talk about “The Ache!”]

Now I know what you’re thinking, “Vic, what the hell is the ache?” Well good question!

To start off, “The ache” is something that I’ve carried over from my previous interoperation of Clyde when he was simply another Bendy.  And while he’s now his own character, I’ve kinda always like that aspect of his character so were we go.

The ache is another “imperfection” that carried over to Clyde when he was first created. However know knows where exactly where it came from, not even Clyde himself. Was it from the ink machine? Was it a bad side effect of the torture he went through at the hands of Joey & Mister Doctor? Who knows. It’s a dull ache that travels with him no mater what he does or where he goes. It grows in sizes whenever he gets stressed out or angry or in complete and utter despair. 

Over time Clyde’s learned to live with it and if you spoke with him, you’d think it’s not even there. But it is. It’s always there, and Clyde fears it will be their until the day he dies. However, there is one positive, “the ache” has made it so that Clyde can has an extremely high pain tolerance.
