lan wangji has always been patient of course (except during cloud recess lectures when wei wuxian was around him) but, i don't think many people realize that the frankly stupid amounts of patience that he has 13 (or 16) years later is most definitely linked with him being a parent and a teacher (especially to the little ones).

if people do realize it, it's not talked about enough!

i'm such a sucker about this because i absolutely adore parental lwj and kindergarten teacher lwj. lwj with juniors and babies is just so heart melting.

can you believe the cultivation world just went along with the jin clan as jin guangshan made himself chief cultivator even though the man did nothing to help in the sunshot campaign and most likely fucked around instead of fighting? because they accepted that. they couldn’t accept wei wuxian defending the wen remnants but they accepted that. they were continuously conniving with his actions.

if i was wei wuxian, i’d run away from those people too, i mean, how blind can they be?? the clan leaders were just ridiculous to follow that pathetic guy, it’s almost laughable if it wasn’t sad at how the whole thing affected wei wuxian in the end.

This work is amazing (like everything I've read from AvoOwO), it's set in the Cloud Recess arc, Wei Wuxian appears passed out on the grass of the backfields and at first everyone assumes that he got really drunk but after they check him out it turns out someone drugged him.
