so for the witches daughter au, i had an idea how chloe and adrian are still friends, Gabe, Emilie and Natalie find a dangerous magic object the kind the is very much the "do not mess with this at all" kind and bring it to Ariel to contain, while there meeting, a toddler Adrian meets and little chloe and a friendship is formed.

Honestly I'm just imagining that everything gets sidestepped because Ariel would see that Emilie got her shit rocked by a broken Miraculous before her condition goes to far and would have more direct ability to help her

Y/N: 4 years old Billy and Tommy: 6 years old ——————————————————

NO ONE'S POV Y/N shuffles into the living room with a huge pout on her face, holding a teddy bear in her hand and dragging her legs towards the redhead who's sitting on the couch.

Natasha doesn't notice the tiny body and keeps her gaze on the TV. The moment she realizes is when Y/N buries her face into the redhead's thighs.

"Детка, what are you doing?" Natasha chuckles, hooking her hands under Y/N's armpits and sitting the tiny one on her lap. (baby)

Y/N looks at her, pout still present on her face on which Natasha playfully pouts back. And on that Y/N wraps her tiny arms around the redhead's neck and buries her face there.

"What got you so upset, baby?" Natasha asks softly, rubbing the little girl's back and holding her close.

"Mommy" Y/N mumble out.

"Mommy made you upset? What did she do to you?" Natasha asks playfully, an amusing smile playing on her lips.

"Mommy said: 'no, Y/N/N, I have to cook, go play with Billy and Tommy'" Y/N explains, pulling out her best acting skills. "But Billy and Tommy don't want to play with me" She sighs dramatically and drops her tiny hands on her lap.

"Well, but you haven't asked me, have you?" Natasha raises an eyebrow with a smile, making the little girl smile back.

"Will you play with me, mama?" Y/N asks with the sweetest smile, making Natasha let out a small gasp.

This is the first time Y/N's ever called her that, the first time anyone has ever called her that. Her and Wanda are dating for 2 years and she wouldn't expect any of Wanda's children to see her as a parent.

Billy and Tommy are older and even before Y/N was born, Wanda was thinking about eventually leaving Vision. To be honest, a robot who has no idea about human emotions is not a good partner.

But Wanda found out she was going to have another baby and tried to save her relationship with the robot, but it just didn't work, so they broke up. Well, and 2 years ago she got together with Natasha and she couldn't be more happy.

The fact is that Y/N is actually the first one who accepted Natasha when Wanda announced their relationship. She only just turned 2 back then, but that doesn't change the fact that Natasha was and is one of her favorite people.

Not like the twins… Vision seems to have quite an influence on them, so liking Natasha definitely isn't even close to how they feel about her. But Natasha keeps trying and hoping that some day it'll get better.

"Of course, I'll play with you, sweetheart" Natasha smiles, giving the tiny girl a little cuddle, and presses a kiss to the top of Y/N's head. "Let's find some toys"

Natasha stands up, sitting Y/N on her hip, and starts to walk to Y/N and the boys' playroom.

"Mama, you and mommy are my favorite, FAVORITE ever" Y/N says enthusiastically, making sure the word 'favorite' is loud enough while kicking her small legs happily.

"Yeah?" Natasha smiles as the little one nods. "Well, you are my favorite, favorite too, детка" She tells Y/N back which immediately brings a smile to Y/N's face as she cuddles up to the redhead. (baby)

"What troubles are my favorite girls causing?" Wanda teases, spotting the pair walking around the kitchen.

That's enough for Y/N to bring back the pout she had previously on her lips while Natasha just chuckles at the sight of Y/N's cute little face.

"Aw, what's wrong, my little monkey?" Wanda pouts back playfully, giving her daughter's tummy a little tickle.

"Well, I've heard that mommy upset her. Am I right, детка?" Natasha says, letting out a little chuckle as Y/N nods her head with the pout still present on her lips. (baby)

"What did mommy do to you, malysh?" Wanda asks playfully.

"Mommy didn't want to play with me and said: 'no, Y/N/N, I have to cook, go play with Billy and Tommy'. But Billy and Tommy don't want to play with me too, mommy" Y/N explains dramatically.

"Well, someone needs to cook the dinner, baby. What would we eat then?" Wanda asks softly with a smile before pressing a kiss to her daughter's forehead.

"That's okay, mommy. Mama will play with me" Y/N's pout gets replaced by a sweet smile immediately.

"I need to cook, bubs, remember?" Wanda repeats, giving her daughter an apologetic look, but Y/N just shakes her head.

"Not you, mommy. Mama" The little one explains like it was the most obvious thing ever, pointing at Natasha and swinging her legs happily.

"Oh, mama will. I see" Wanda smiles warmly, locking her eyes with Natasha's who smiles widely back and rests her head against Y/N's before pressing a kiss to the tiny one's head.

"Have fun, you two. I'll call you on dinner" Wanda smiles, placing a kiss on her daughter's small nose that looks exactly like hers before pecking her girlfriend's lips.

Natasha just smiles back and carries Y/N away, so they could play like Y/N wanted. She's definitely excited about having a playdate with the tiny troublemaker, even more so to be her mother, help Wanda with raising her and see her grow up.

Ranni has every reason to hate Marika. She is the figurehead of an order that has caused her and her family so much misery… and yet, in the Age of the Stars ending cutscene, Ranni holds Marika’s head with such gentleness. It feels less like Ranni is putting down a tyrant, and more like she’s laying her to rest, after many long years of torment. 

Ranni could have been Marika’s successor, but she rejected the guidance of the Two Fingers, slaying her own flesh in order to be rid of their influence: 

“But I would not acquiesce to the Two Fingers. I stole the Rune of Death, slew mine own Empyrean flesh, casting it away. I would not be controlled by that thing.”

Ranni goes to such drastic lengths because the most intolerable thing possible to her is to be a pawn; her will not being her own, but being at the mercy of a higher power. Ranni’s quest is above all about free will – it culminates with Ranni using the Fingerslayer Blade to tear her Two Fingers into bloody ribbons, at long last giving her full control over her own destiny.

Marika in the present day is a prisoner held in perpetual torment. According to Enia and the Two Fingers,

"Queen Marika is the vessel of the Elden Ring, carrier of its vision. A god, in truth. But after the Elden Ring's shattering, she was imprisoned in the Erdtree. A grim punishment for shattering the Order, despite her godhood. The Fingers speak... "Marika's trespass demanded a heavy sentence. But even in shackles, she remains a god, and the vision's vessel.”

Marika shattered the Order, going against the will of the Two Fingers, and was punished for it gravely. In many ways, Marika’s fate is Ranni’s absolute worst nightmare. This is exactly the fate she took such drastic lengths to escape… serving a higher power with her entire being, her will not her own, but the will of the Fingers, with any attempt at change met with violent suppression, her body essentially being used as a puppet to defend the last vestiges of the Order.

“I would not be controlled by that thing.”

I think that Ranni, seeing Marika’s broken body at the end of it all, felt nothing but pity for her in that moment, despite everything she’d done. To me, the act of Ranni holding Marika’s head in her hands feels like she’s saying, “you were my enemy. But there is no worse fate in this world than what you suffered. Now, you can be truly free."

so i think i will cal this au "the witches daughter" so ya, chloe gets raise be Ariel, Guy And Doc (and Wolfe depending on when she starts dating Ariel), Chloe learns magic, cooking and aiming from the trio, so when get to start of season one, she isn;t the bully, she;s the school cryptid who has a weird amount of random skills.

I could see her like. She's the 'I don't realize I'm being mean' type of bully. She says things bluntly forgetting to take feeling into account and is a little morally dubious to get her way, which leads to people assuming she's a jerk.

"I hate the world!" You groan as you flop onto the couch, your bag now forgotten on the floor

Elijah walks into the living room and goes over to you. He sits on the couch and lays a hand on your shoulder.

"What happened?" He asks a smile quirking at his lips, knowing how you're bound to exaggerate things.

"School" You look up at him, your face stone cold as if it were obvious. "It's a literal living hell. And you expect me to make it another 1 and a half years alive?! I mean seriously! It's not like I really need it. All they teach is things that you'll never use outside of that torture chamber. For example, history. Now why the hell do I need to learn about irrelevant history that there's no point in learning, and if I do want to know about it, I live with a bunch of old people who have quite literally lived through everything those stupid teachers teach!" You rant to your dad.

"You need to graduate high school, it's important" He wraps an arm around your shoulders. You lay your head against his chest.

"No, what's more important is knowing who my mom is" You look up at him. "We've been through this before-"

"You still haven't told her, who her mother is? How cruel can you be!" Kol stops in the doorway, hearing your rant a couple minutes prior.

"Kol!" Elijah glares at his little brother. "Yeah!" You exclaim, agreeing with your uncle.

"Y/n!" Elijah looks at you, before turning his attention back to the younger original. He gives him a look that makes Kol immediately leave the house.

"I'll tell you when the time is right, okay?" Your dad rubs his hand up and down your arm gently.

"Whatever" You cross your arms. And the next second, the unlit fireplace bursts into huge flames, along with any candles in the room.

"Hey, you need to remember to have control of your magic. It's very strong and will react to strong emotion if you're not careful" Elijah tells you, his eyes widening a bit at the reaction.

"I purposely did that" You sink back into the couch, extinguishing the flames. "And it's not like I'm gonna go all witch bitch crazy like Dhalia and Esther and try to kill you all" you mumble, but your father can hear it perfectly fine.

"Oh, I know, sweetie" Elijah pulls you into his arms and you lay your head against his chest.

List of some movies that I enjoy and the books they’re based on which often have different vibes than the movie but both are equally good in different ways

Howl’s Moving Castle: The book is titled the same but has very different vibes (movie is more whimsical fantasy while book feels more like realistic fantasy if that makes sense) and also has two companion books in which Howl and Sophie make appearances! Book by Dianna Wynne Jones

Kiki’s Delivery Service: The book is titled the same but again very different vibes (Movie Kiki deals with depression and losing your passion and Book Kiki is cute little witch dealing with people’s problems in cute little witch ways) Book by Eiko Kadono

Stardust: Book titled the same but different vibes (movie is intense and life threatening adventures, book is more fun travel adventures and much slower paced) Book by Neil Gaiman

The Secret of Moonacre: The book is titled The Little White Horse (similar to Stardust the book is a lot slower paced and less life threatening adventures but just as fun and interesting as well as a lot of characters have more depth to them than in the movie) Book by Elizabeth Goudge

The Last Unicorn: Book has same name (from what I remember the book is almost word for word exactly like the movie) Book by Peter S Beagle

Ella Enchanted: Book has the same name (ok this one is a little more controversial. In my opinion the book has a lot more depth and is a lot more interesting in the world building and characters, and the movie is a horrible adaptation. But if you look at the movie as a completely separate thing it is still enjoyable and has fun songs and is a classic from my childhood) Book by Gail Carson Levine

Mary and the Witch’s Flower: The book is titled The Little Broomstick (I have yet to read it but I have just checked it out so I will make sure to update this once I’ve read it! I expect the book will probably have better world building as the movie was fun but didn’t have time to go into depth and the mechanics of the witch’s world) Book by Mary Stewart

Earwig and the Witch: Book titled the same (I also have yet to read this book but have just checked it out and will update later. I think it’ll probably be similar to what I expect with the Little Broomstick where it will probably show a more developed world) Book by Dianna Wynne Jones

Ronja the Robber’s Daughter: Technically not a movie but a tv series. Book has the same name (I also haven’t read it but have just checked it out and will update but I think the show was very well done story wise though the animation wasn’t my favorite and I expect that it probably followed the book fairly closely) Book by Astrid Lindgren

Avalon High: Book has same name and similar plot but characters are switched around (this is actually one where I like the movie a lot better. I feel like the book is extremely predictable and does exactly what you expect to happen while the movie switches it up in a fun way that I feel like also makes sense and isn’t just doing it for the shock factor) Book by Meg Cabot

Tales From Earthsea: One book from the Earthsea Cycle has the same name (I’ve only read the first two books and so technically haven’t gotten to the book that the movie has been adapted from but it’s on my list and I will update once I eventually get to it. So essentially I’ve read the prequels that lead up to the events in the movie and I’ve heard the movie is vaguely different but has similar themes and plot points to the book) Books by Ursula K Le Guin
