PLS I love your art and I'd like your take on Konstantin from the winternight trilogy!! He's so... layered and problematic and repressed and oppressing .....

We’re in Love by Boygenius and The Bear and the Nightingale series has almost identical parallels and I felt it so deep within me it hurt

Reading a book that was released more than five years ago and coming here on Tumblr to talk about it is like coming to the party so late that you missed even the after-party of said party and now everything that's left are a few fanarts you stumble upon by almost lucky accident and someone tumbleweeds of posts long forgotten.

the winternight trilogy is excellent in many ways but the best thing for me was how surprisingly pathetic morozko was. he is introduced as this immensely powerful immortal who you expect to be cold, detached and badass but as soon as you get to book 3 he has the worst time ever. he does not want to be here. he just wants to sleep. he's translucent. he's a sopping wet beast. he's literally melting. he's down bad for a woman who wants to see the world burn and he's going to be so pathetic about it

Every time I reach the last book in a favorite series that I have been reading for months - sometimes years -, that has accompanied me at various moments in my life, that each book was a small dose of the euphoria of living in that universe, that made me smile, cry, love their characters and feel comforted by them:
