Seashell: XVIII - The Moon

The Moon card comes to remind you about your intuition. Crossing a dark forest at night can be scary when you don't know what lingers around. Be careful not to let fear overcome your mind, it's easy to get lost in the dark, this can lead to anxiety and self doubt.

If you find uncertainty this week, be sure to trust your intuition, do not let yourself become a prisioner of your fears, the forest might look too dark and intimidating, but the moon light will guide you through your journey.

Moon Stone: V - The Hierophant

This card is here to remind you that you can only go so far on your own, it's okay to accept help. The Hierophant is in constant search for knowledge, to go further with the assistence of a mentor, someone who can provide you the guidance you need.

He encourages you to take the step you might have been thinking for a while, this week you can join a class, visit a workshop or look more closely into learning that new thing you have been so interested about.

Sun Stone: XXI - The World

I'm kind of fascinated by the Wild Unknown's reputation for being excessively blunt. It's so popular, I always feel like a bit of a basic binch when I admit that it's my favorite deck, but then half the time people are like "oh no, that one's pretty, but mean!"

For me I'd say it's definitely pretty honest, but not unkind. I have another deck that gives me a huge helping of dread every time I pull a sword, but I don't really feel that way about the Wild Unknown. I have found a lot of the readings to be eerily accurate, but that's generally what I'm going for with divination.

Given that I prefer people to just say what they mean, I suppose it makes a certain amount of sense that a blunt deck would appeal to me. I have held back on a few readings when I knew the person I was reading for wouldn't be open to the message, but it's never been to blunt for me, personally.

I don't usually do big spreads. 3-5 cards usually tells me all I need to know. But, it's Halloween and this spread has been dwelling in the back of my mind for a while now.

Connection spread (analysis)✨

I got the chance to try a reading on two people's connection per request. It was hard as only one of them was present (person A), so I warned them about the difficult of sorting it out right for the missing person, I'm a beginner after all.

Cards' meaning under this spread is under the cut, this is merely an analysis on the results to help me get better on readings!

This reading is very clear, person A (cards 1-2 by the left) is committed to their connection, their challenge is to let go and move on from things that have hurted them in the past, which is easier said than done

Person B (cards 3-4 by the right) however is going through some internal battles, the Temperance suggests healing along with the Tower that implies in painful changes while everything seems to fall apart around them. Nonetheless, after the storm the sun will shine again and all the pain will be seen as valuable lessons

Card 5 represents their common force, the Hierophant says that both parts are taking their time to get better, chasing after knowledge that I believe is self knowledge.

As much as the two parts seem to be in the same page, the reading suggest it's best for them to follow their own paths, heal from their wounds before anything

The most surprising thing is, by this morning, I received a text from person A describing how person B texted them and talked a lot about how they are dealing with a lot of stuff in their personal life, trying to get things together.

It shouldn't surprise me as much as it did, but I really did not expect to see so many things fit together so fast, it all just makes me want even more to learn and get better

Weirdly enough when I went to go fish this card out of my deck for today's challenge it was already on top. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The aces represent new beginnings, while the cups suit deals with emotions and relationships. As such, the appearance of this card can indicate an opportunity for new relationships (not necessarily romantic ones) and positive feelings.

New beginnings often come out of endings, and the ace of cups can also represent letting go of emotions or relationships which are negatively impacting us, so that we can move on.

In general it tends to be a sign of good things to come, and a message to be receptive to new possibilities.
