It was break, they did not start classes for a few weeks and Iris was taking the time to herself, she had come back from visiting her family for the holidays, yet still kept communication. The young woman could be found walking back from the local Post Office. Sure she could email her family but she wanted to go for a walk and sometimes letters were just fun to write. 

As she headed back to the college campus, she would notice someone laying, seemingly motionless, in the alleyway. They were bleeding out, yet from the rise and fall of their chest it was clear they were alive. 

As Lust awoke, she would find a strange, pointy eared, woman standing over her. She was working to start bandaging her wounds with what little first aid materials she brought with her.  

“Good afternoon Ms.” The woman spoke as she finished with the wound and looked over at Lust’s face. “

“No, I have never had either of those, despite what I have been getting myself into, I try to be as careful as possible.” 

What was the worst illness you ever contacted? Do you know what it was? How long were you sick?

“I once got an extremely bad infected scar across my back. One of the few times I was not careful....it took me a week or so to get back to correct health. I do not wish to get into any details however.”

Have you ever had to give yourself or someone else emergency first aid? What happened?

“Yes, my ‘student’ one Daniel Miller, he got a little in over his head with that Grimoire of his and ended up getting himself knocked unconscious and I had to nurse him back to health.”

Iris bent down and examined the body, recently killed, there was blood still pooling around it. She could call the police, she could go to her professors. But the young woman was nothing if not curious, so maybe she could try find the killer herself?

The moon shone down onto the city, she was not far away from the college and yet it did not seem as though this person was a student, for they seemed a little too old. How very strange.  It was while thinking that she felt someone behind her, getting up and turning around, she would speak. 

“Who’s there?” 

Mentally she was preparing spells in case the other person turned out to be hostile in nature.

The cloak that Iris wears is something of a family heirloom that gets past down to the eldest child, a tradition coming from her father’s side of the family.

Iris facts time!

- Despite still learning how to use her magic, Iris is extremely good at Telekinesis, able to shatter things and move objects three times her weight with ease, maybe even heavier in the latter’s case.

- Iris has a younger brother named Leo, he also has magical properties, sadly their mother, Sofia, is a regular human with no magic.

- She is actually from Germany and can speak the language very well, she also has a slight German accent. 

- Other Languages Iris knows are, Latin, Irish, Runes, A bit of Fayspeak. 

- Her last name is Schwarz, meaning Black in German
