Sand sculpture at San Diego Comic Con promoting The Sandman Audio drama act 3.   You know I think The Sandman audio drama is the most heavily advertised audio book I've ever seen.

I can’t wait to see how Tom Sturridge plays Dream, but I have to say, I’m kind of not over how good James McAvoy‘s performance of the character was in the audio drama.

Can we talk about how they did the Dream and Gadling scenes in The Sandman Season 1 Episode 6 "The Sound of Her Wings" in a similar manner to the now iconic opening of Good Omens Season 1 Episode 3 "Hard Times," please? Can we talk about it? I'd like to talk about it.

Spent an embarrassing amount of time gathering all of Cain and Abel's scenes/lines from the Sandman audiobook...
Cain's voice is just 🤌 perfect (guy does an amazing Vincent Price!) and Abel and Goldie are just too precious!

If you loved The Sandman on Netflix, I highly highly highly recommend you check out the audio dramas on Audible (there are 2 acts, with a third on the way). They’re narrated by Neil Gaiman himself, and feature an ensemble cast of actors, including James McAvoy as Morpheus.
Neil’s narration is gentle and very evocative. Which really juxtaposes the horror elements of the series in a lovely way. I will warn you that there are parts that are more visceral and upsetting than the live action adaption. Particularly the Diner story.

Everyone: Omg, I'm scared of watching the dinner episode.
Me, already scarred by the sound-graphicness of the audio drama going Slowly. Into. Every. Horror: It can't be worse than this.
