I love these 2 and they make me really want to wear a cool mask. Sure my face is nice but everybody has a face, why can't I Incorporate a mask into my identity?

Oh btw I guess I should explain the characters. These together are the entity known as The Kindred, individually they are Lamb and Wolf and they're gods of death! And they're besties navigating their way through the world learning about it as they go, kinda similar to Death in the book The Book Thief. Lamb wears a Wolf mask and uses her bow to take those who have accepted their fate, while Wolf wears a Lamb mask and gnashes his teeth and tears apart those who fight death.

Wolf has senses without knowledge, Lamb has knowledge without senses, and they learn from each other. They kind of have a sibling relationship, with Lamb as an older sister caretaker and Wolf as a younger brother. And they speak poetically and sometimes finish each others' sentences because they're gods of death and often ya need something unsettling to flesh out childlike god of death.

They've got a great voiceover, I'll try to share some bangers here:

Lamb: "Older than those whose footsteps are long vanished."

Wolf: "Many years."

Lamb: "I remember them all."

Lamb: "I wonder how they see me."

Wolf: "Ashes on wool."

Lamb: "Peacefully, they go."

Wolf: "Hungry, we follow!"

Lamb: "They laugh."

Wolf: "And scream!"

Lamb: "And dance."

Wolf: "And flee!"

Wolf: "They race from us!"

Lamb: "Only to find us sooner."

Wolf: "Is this what it feels like to end?"

Lamb: "I do not know, for this is not our end."

Wolf: "Do others come back?"

Lamb: "Those who do, wish they hadn't."

Wolf: "Tell me again, little Lamb, which things are mine to take?"

Lamb: "All things, dear Wolf."

Wolf: "This next one will be easy."

Lamb: "And if not?"

Wolf: "More fun."

Stargate-Atlantis S4: E18 The Kindred (Part 1)

I love that when Teyla starts having visions, her team is there. I love Rodney bring supportive even if he didn't believe her.

Sheppard is the best. It doesn't matter to him if he believes Teyla's visions her not, he's supporting her.

The visions are significantly creepier when you know it's Michael manipulating Teyla. Sheppard even asks if she thinks her judgment might be clouded by the loss of her people. Teyla denies it, but that's what's happening.

Oh man, Teyla got taken on Lorne's watch. Poor man. That's gotta weigh on him.

Todd talks to Sheppard about the new attack, Sheppard says its not their problem. Todd says that in the past, with the high count of human lives, they would have made it their problem. Todd knows them too well.

The writing on this show is either pretty well done or really lucky because you have Michael, who has every right to hate what was done to him and who we can sympathize with, without losing our love of the Atlantis team. They walked that tightrope well. We also have the Carson clone. I'm not one for killing and resurrecting characters repeatedly. I think it cheapens their deaths and makes me feel like everyone is safe. But, bringing Carson back doesn't cheapen his death. It only makes it harder. It doesn't make me cry less, but more, because we'd all healed, moved on, honored his memory, started to accept Keller, and out of nowhere, Carson's back. It's like a painful whiplash.

Biography: The Kindred are a coalition of Duel Monsters that are lead by a group of former students of the mighty Exodia known as the Convent of Enlightenment.. Leading them is Dark Magician, born as Arthur of Darconia, the student of Argos the Stern Mystic over three thousand years ago.

He learned many spells, and in turn used them to defend the convent alongside the likes of the Ancient Elf, Mystical Elf and Maha Vailo.

Together, they stand as the bulwark against the Undead Oligarchy, led by the Dark Master Zorc. The Convent was located on a grassy plain known as Spell Henge, their homes surrounded by rune covered, floating rocks that protected the entire area with a transparent barrier.

However, Zorc's generals proved incredibly powerful, and an army led by the King of Yamimakai managed to destroy the sealing runes that kept the protective magic around. The Convent leaders tried to fight back, but had lost some notable members in the process, including Maha Vailo and the White Magical Hat.

Dark Magician, praying to find a way to stop the Fiend onslaught, managed to summon a rather young dragon called Blue-Eyes, who agreed to help out of a mutual hatred of Zorc and his men. Together, they sent the Fiend back to the dark realm from whence he came in a Twin Lightning Attack.

Seen as a hero by the survivors, Dark Magician was made the ruler of the Convent, Argos giving him a vote of confidence. Although Arthur offered Blue-Eyes the chance to join him, he declined in order to return to his own people. However, while the Dragon Tribe in general is a longtime rival of the Kindred, Dark Magician and Blue-Eyes have not forgotten their bonds, and will help each other when the chips are down.

As for Dark Magician's exploits after defeating the King, he created an official kingdom called Druishire with the help of a sellsword named the Celtic Guardian, and they formed a Tribe now called the Kindred after their ability to attract beings with their promise of egalitarianism and sanctuary for those seeking it.

The Dark Magician now rules over his Tribe with his 12 Arcane Knights, as well as a pupil of his own named Lucille of Twilight. Though you may know her better as the Dark Magician Girl.

I know almost nothing about who’s in this cinematic cause I only really pay attention to the Zaun/Piltover corner of Runeterra but my god seeing Kindred fight on screen like this is so cool! I’m actually tempted to do an analysis on that part cause I can’t stop watching it. Is this how they fight in the game???

The lights scatter across the ceiling, their spiral movements echoing the way most of the club’s occupants probably feel this evening. The music blares and the chatter is relentless.
