I am genuinely so sick of people on the tamagotchi subreddit saying you shouldn't give your tamagotchi snacks at all especially in p1 and p2 and that it will "100% DIE IF YOU DO"...The button is there for a reason

Hell, I've even seen people say it's "a trick" or a trick button...No, it isn't. Your tamagotchi needs both meals and snacks because snacks raise the weight and happiness higher. Meals also increase weight but not to the extent of snacks. You just need to burn off that baby weight by playing with it

An Australian toy store has revealed on eBay a series of special Easter edition shells for the Tamagotchi Generation 1 and 2! They showed two Gen 1 colors and three Gen 2 colors, and the packaging is unique to celebrate the holiday. No official announcement has been revealed yet.

This Is my current tamagotchi and vpet collection i have 8 now and another one in the way, I'm getting addicted to collecting and hunting for them, I'm like looking at selling sites everyday now (somebody need to stop me 0w0")

Also opening them up for maintenance and cleaning it's so satisfying >w<

Am so happy to get the tamagotchi some and pix. I wanted a purple one but hey this is the one that was available. My boyfriend has kind of said if I get a purple one then he's claiming dibs on the pink one cause he's a sucker for pink.

Slowly adding to my collection. Not planning on getting a BUNCH but I do have at least 5 more that I want.
