MASTERLIST | MY PATREON
2011 - take that concert
Tumblr media
The last year was a roller coaster of emotions for Harry, in the span of a few months, he became a worldwide musical sensation alongside with the four boys that he now gets to call his best friends.
Of course, he was over the moon about his new life and how his dream was coming true, but the most special thing about the last year was that that he now gets to call his high school crush his girlfriend, and he couldn't be happy about it .
"I can't believe we get free tickets to concerts because we're in a band! This is amazing!" A cheerful Niall spoke, the band was currently at Wembley Stadium where the British legendary band 'Take That' was performing for the night.
"I know dude, and we can bring anyone we want too, this is the dream," Harry joined in, turning to look at his girlfriend who was seated next to him "Are you good? Do you want anything to drink?" he asked her, with small smile on his face.
"I'm okay, these seats are great," YN replied, the boys too indulged in their own conversation no longer paying attention to them, "Thank yo for inviting me."
"No need to thank me, love. I love spending time with you," Harry said making his girlfriend's cheeks instantly blush, "This place is madness, I hope we get to play here sometime."
"You will, Harry. And I'll make sure to be by your side when that happens, even if you don't want me anymore."
"Don't say that, you know I'll always want you around." Harry said with a serious face, and YN was about to reply before she interrupted by Louis' voice.
"Lovebirds! The show is about to start!"
"Okay, okay. Let me take a picture of you guys before the lights go out." YN said standing up and grabbing her phone to capture the moment.
The five boys smiled for her, excited grins on their faces and the same thought in their minds: how amazing it would be to play a show in Wembley Stadium
2014 - one direction's where we are tour
Tumblr media
"I can't believe we're playing here tonight," Harry said as he took a look at the massive stadium, standing beside his girlfriend as they roamed around the area that soon would be filled with fans, "I just, can't wrap my head around the fact that we actually did it, three sold out shows here, I'm blown away."
YN smiled tenderly before speaking, taking in her boyfriend's excitement, "I'm so proud of you, baby. You and the boys deserve this so much."
"That's the best part of it all, that I'm doing it with the lads," Harry matched his girlfriend's smile, "You know, if I ever get to do my own thing I know for a fact that I won't be able to match everything we're achieving, but I'm okay with it. My dreams are coming true right now and that's all that matters."
YN knew that this was a constant thought on his mind and doubt whispered in his ear telling him that if he ever got to launch his solo career, he would never measure up and never reach the same heights as his band is doing.
"Hey, love," YN called for him, making him lock his eyes with her, "Everything's going to be fine, you will deliver an amazing show tonight and the following nights. And when the time is right, you'll be back here with your own music, I have no doubt in my mind that you were born to perform in stages like this one."
Harry smiled fondly taking in his girlfriend's words, "I love you, you know?" he grabbed her face before continuing, "Your constant support is what pushes me to do all of this, it means nothing without you."
YN leaned in, pressing a gentle kiss to his lips. "I'll always be here, supporting you through it all," she whispered, "Doesn't matter if you perform for 60,000 people or 6, I'm going to be proud of you no matter what."
And as Harry stood in the middle of the stadium with his girlfriend wrapped around his arms, eager to perform alongside with his best friends; he thought his life couldn't get any better , and no matter what happened in the future, he was going to cherish that moment for the rest of his life.
2022 - love on tour: harry's first solo show
Tumblr media
"How do you feel, mate?" Jeff asked Harry as they stood together on the wings of the stage, Mitski was just done with her set and Harry was already on his outfit for the show, minutes away from hitting the stage.
"It's a weird feeling somehow," Harry turned his gaze to his manager and best friend, "I never thought I was going to ever be able to fill this place on my own, you know?"
"And here we are, two sold out shows!" Jeff threw his fist in the air as a sign of celebration and both of them laughed, side hugging as they kept admiring the crowd.
"Are you guys having a sappy sentimental moment without me?" they tuned their heads towards the voice called for them, that belonged to Harry's wife.
"I was just about to leave, actually, I have to check everything's running smoothly before this one hits the stage," Jeff ruffled Harry's hair for a moment, "You lovebirds enjoy your pre-concert shag, see you out there!"
YN and Harry both rolled their eyes and shook their heads, all the times they got caught doing their shenanigans before the shows resulting in a constant teasing from their friends.
"So, how do you feel, rockstar?" YN asked, getting closer to him and wrapping his arms around his waist.
"You know, Jeff just asked the same thing."
"Okay, no talking, straight to the pre-concert shag I guess!"
Harry laughed, wrapping his arms around her shoulders, looking out at the crowd together.
"I feel great," Harry said, turning his face to the side to locke his eyes with hers, "Being here again and having you by my side as my wife now is something that I thought would only happen in my dreams, so I feel great my dreams came true again."
"This is a time where I actually feel good saying that I told you so," YN smiled softly, "I always knew that you were going to be selling out this places on your own, baby. And I'm so proud of you."
"I know," Harry pecked her lips for a moment, "And that's the reason why I'm here, because you had never allowed me to doubt myself."
"You're here because you've earned it by working hard and pouring your heart out in everything that you do, there's no one who deserves this as much as you do."
Harry's eyes got watery at her words, and he grabbed her face to connect their lips, expressing everything he felt at the moment with a kiss.
"10 minutes till show time!" One of the crew members announced, making them break apart.
"Go sing about fruit and joke about dads, rockstar. I love you."
"Love you more, wifey."
And with a final kiss to his wife's lips he was off to perform, ready to charm a crowd of 80,000 people on his own, something that he never though he would achieve.

“And here we go again.” You whispered to yourself as you watched Harry hit the first note of Daydreaming.
You were on the VIP box of Wembley Stadium, accompanied by family and friends that came together to see Harry perform. The room filled with love, pride and joy.
“Honey, I’m home!” Harry said into the mic, making the entire crowd of 80k people scream, and you couldn’t help but turn your head to Anne standing beside you.
“He’s always so happy when he’s here,” she said, her eyes not leaving her boy who was performing on stage, “I’ve watched him perform countless of times and I still get overwhelmed with so much pride.”
You both smiled tenderly, sharing the same feeling. As the concert went by, you danced along to the music, traded friendship bracelets with Harry’s fans that approached you and took a few snaps with your film camera to capture the moment forever.
But now, you absolute favorite of every Harry concert approached, the time to listen to him sing the song that started it all: Sign of the Times.
“It’s not lost on me how insane it is to be playing 4 nights here this week, thank you so much. It’s very, very special to me,” Harry begun with his speech before the song, making everyone in the audience grow emotional, “My family is here tonight, my friends are here, my gorgeous wife is here, and a countless list of people who have supported me right from the very beginning.”
You put your hand on your chest, feeling tears gather up in your eyes and feeling how Anne side-hugged you, caressing your arm.
“These shows get a little bit scary for me because, they get so built up, and it’s a slow build, that feels like. I know what it means to be here tonight and it’s a bit scary because it makes it feel it’s a show all unto itself”
“He’s still feels like he’s not going to live up to it,” Anne whispered, making you look at her, “But remember how he thought he was never going to play here on his own? And now we’re here for four nights.”
“And now we’re here for four nights.” you repeated her words, smiling to yourself and admiring your husband on stage.
The song finally started and the tears naturally rolled down your cheeks, your body filled with pride and adoration for the man you’ve loved for over 13 years. As you watched the fireworks go off as he hit the final notes, you thanked life for allowing you to stick with him through it all.

ATEEZ THE FELLOWSHIP: BREAK THE WALL IN LATAM - BRAZIL EDITION
Tumblr media
Now that I have your attention, let me just tell you how utterly INSANE that concert was.
For a little more background, this Saturday (Aug. 26) Ateez came to Brazil for the first time and held their 1st stadium concert at Allianz Parque in São Paulo. According to a few articles, there were around 30k people, even though they weren't using the full capacity of the space (around 45k I guess). So far, this is the biggest public they have performed in front of. Also, the only other kpop group to perform there was BTS, so there's that.
I know some countries work differently, but in Brazil we don't have numbered chairs/spots in most of our concerts, so the first ones to get inside on the day of the concert are the ones with the best spot to watch it. That being said, there were people camping around the stadium 3 MONTHS before the concert even happened, just after the tickets were sold. Yes, we hate that kind of people.
But funny enough, when a VIP package was announced, 10 days before d-day (yeah, that's right, a soundcheck-early-entrace package announced only 10 days before the concert - and we hated that also), that meant that unless those people bought the VIP expansion, their camping would have been useless. Fun fact about the VIP expansion/upgrade: it ranged from 1,8k reais (+-370 USD) to 3k reais (+-615 USD) depending if you already had Pit (kinda front rows?) tickets or would need to upgrade - and our minimum wage is 1,7k/month (+-350 USD/month).
Now that I've covered that, let's move on to my personal experience, because that's what I really want to talk about (and no other social platform would really listen, so thank you tumblr for allowing me to talk to myself comfortably).
I live kinda near São Paulo, but the bus I had to take would only do the longer route, so that meant waking up early. Like, 1am early, to have breakfast, get dressed up and styled for the concert, and get to the bus station. I went with my sister and my best friend, we did our best to stick to our schedule, and we almost missed our bus - shout out to the other bus driver who took pity of us and helped us get to the right bus, you're the best and I hope that both sides of your pillow are aways cold.
We arrived in São Paulo at 6am, and took the subway to the stadium's district. We also had to walk 1,5km to get there, as most streets around it were closed and no uber would take us. So picture me, in 12cm platform boots, walking 1,5km. It was an experience, to say the least.
When we finally got to our sector's line, it was around 7:30 in the morning, and there we stayed until 4pm. Yep, almost 9 hours in line, with barely enough space to sit down for a few minutes before the line would move forward for no apparent reason. But, I also met new cool people, and got a few free pc and pins to keep as souvenirs!
I know it must sound like I'm complaining about the whole experience but I promise I'm not. Actually, it was my fist kpop concert, and also my first time on a floor spot, and everything felt so crazy and intense, I don't even know what I was expecting from it all.
We got inside at 4-something pm, and that was the first bathroom break we took since we left the subway (and about that, never doing that again). We managed a place not that far from the b-stage, fixed our things and ourselves, and waited.
If you ever watched an Ateez concert livestream, you know that sometimes they run a bit late, perfectly normal. But let me tell you it didn't take more than 10 minutes for them to start, and I'm pretty sure that if we were excited and nervous, they were 10 times more.
Unfortunately Jongho wasn't there, he's in Korea and will have to fix his ankle with surgery. We did our best to sing his lines even more energetically so that the boys would see that we understand the situation, and that we love Jongho just as much. 8 makes 1 team, after all.
There's not much to say about the concert, I guess everybody knows the setlist and the interactions they usually do with the crowd. But my honorable mentions go to:
The boys introducing themselves in Portuguese! Also them speaking Portuguese randomly during the concert~ it really felt special seeing them doing it
Their reactions to our cheerings! We are known for our passion, and honestly we are very much proud of being loud - they looked so happy whenever we'd match their energy
On the topic of cheering - the "break the wall" chant. Or even better, THE "break the wall" chant. Not to be cocky, but I challenge any other country to surpass us
Wonderland. I mean, do I even have to elaborate? We did our best to sing Jongho's highnote, it wasn't perfect but it was full of love
Last but not least, us making them blush HARD. we have this chant that goes "Lindo, tesão, bonito e gostosão", and you can translate it if you want, but roughly it means we called them beautiful and hot <3
I don't think I'll be posting my videos in here, but if you wanna fell the Brazilian vibe, you can check out my Instagram highlight "ATEEZ IN BRAZIL" on @/itsme_clarinha, or my Twitter (X?) under the same name where I'll post a thread with the full videos I didn't manage on Instagram ✨️
So that's it! I probably forgot a bunch of stuff, but what I remembered was what I wanted to mention the most;; and if you got this far, here's the video of the best brazilian fanchant ever lol

Hi Gina... I need to rant 😠 lmfao
As a life-long Chiefs fan and KC native all I can say is this T*ylor shit is fucking annoying. I know you talk to a LOT of people in the fandom, so you may not remember, but I'm a fellow Sw*ftie hater (maybe that's too harsh but idgaf) and I didn't think it was possible to get more annoyed with this woman than I've been since I stopped being a fan in 2018. Boy, was I WRONG. I'm a die-hard Chiefs fan. I loved my team even when we sucked and couldn't make it to the playoffs (before Patrick Mahomes), so to see EVERYONE make the game on Sunday about her is beyond frustrating. People (Sw*fties) are seriously saying she's the only reason we won. Like we haven't won multiple AFC championships and two Super Bowls in the past three years. Maybe I'm just taking it too seriously, but when our boys played a kick ass game on Sunday after such a shitty season opener (that we lost), it was so nice to see that we're getting our mojo back but I literally can't look at any post, tweet, article, tv segment, etc that doesn't make the game about her.
God, please don't let her be around for the rest of the season 🙏🏻
Also, I'm not saying they're not hooking up, but this is 100% for PR. I've personally never seen them pan to a celebrity so many times during the game. I've never seen "candid" photos of Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, or any of the other popular Chiefs' players leaving Arrowhead Stadium after a game like we just got with Travis & T*ylor, or "candid" photos & videos of any of the popular players driving through the city, which is so sus. And then what really sealed the deal for me was that T*ylor announced earlier today that her concert film will be shown internationally. She was also named as an entertainer of the year for entertainment weekly and is on the cover. Not to mention, she has a new re-recording coming out in a month and continues to announce new versions of the 1989 re-recording. "Someone" must not be happy enough that she's already broke records with the Speak Now sales, is selling the most number of albums overall, but she must be aiming to break those Speak Now records with the 1989 re-recording sales bc she's releasing new versions quite often. I mean, how greedy can one person be. Like you haven't sold enough albums? You don't have enough publicity? You don't have enough money? It's just gross to me.
Also, I personally just found her reactions over the top for someone who isn't even a fan, especially whatever that head shake thing is at the end. But maybe that's just because I find everything she does annoying and cringe.
https://www.instagram.com/reel/CxmAHqjrACL/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
Plus, the stats around Travis and the Chiefs have skyrocketed. So they're absolutely getting a lot out of this as well as the NFL like someone mentioned earlier.
I'll attach an article but here are some numbers:
Travis' jersey sales went up almost 400%
Stubhub ticket sales for Chiefs' home games increased threefold in just 24 hrs
Travis gained 325k new ig followers - more than he gained after winning the last Super Bowl
Sunday's Chiefs' game was the most watched NFL game on any network last week
It was also the most watched game among girls and women 12 to 49 yrs old
https://www.axios.com/2023/09/26/taylor-swift-travis-kelce-merch-sales-up-chiefs-kansas-city
Tumblr media
And yes, I know I know a lot about her for someone who doesn't like her. But she's inescapable even when I have muted everything related to her... And now she's taking over my everything related to my favorite football team and my city 🤢 Where's Pete Davidson when you need him? 😂
Ok, sorry for that rant. I know I probably sound ridiculous, but I prefer my life T*ylor free just like I prefer my life Ol*via free, and I thought you might understand 😂 Anyways, feel free not to post if you don't want to discuss her anymore.
I hope you're having a good night, Gina. Lots of love.
She really is a horrendous actress. Everything she did at that game was so embarrassingly fake. But clearly people want to believe it because it’s everywhere.
That’s bananas how much his stats already went up and just shows why it’s worth it to do this kind of nonsense, even to someone who’s already really famous.
I’m not interested in football at all, but I’m so sorry she’s contaminating your safe space. 😩

I SAW TAYLOR SWIFT - My Time at the July 8th Eras Tour Show!
Tumblr media
When I first saw a tour announcement for Taylor Swift back in November last year, I never in my wildest dreams (haha) thought I would be able to go. That mindset stuck with me when I registered for presale, got accepted into presale, and as I was waiting in the queue that November 15th. The great ticket wars.
My persistence paid off though, as I waited for five hours before I got in. I found the perfect seats for me and my sister- section 340, row 4, seats 11 and 12 of Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. I was able to check out and get the tickets. We were going to see Taylor Swift live.
This is my experience with the first concert I have been to in my life, and the best one I will have ever seen. Be warned, this is a LONG one.
I got more and more excited for the show as the (almost) 8 months were flying by. I told everyone I knew that I was going, even people I didn't know! As the day got closer and closer, I was still in disbelief. I was in the car and I was in disbelief. That we were actually going to see Taylor in person.
The gates for parking were expected to open around 2:30 PM, so we left around 10 AM to make sure we had a good spot in the waiting line. Thankfully, we did! There weren't a lot of other cars when we got there, and while we waited we made a few acquaintances too. We got out of the car and walked around a little and talked to others who were going to this show. There were some people from Pennsylvania that were making bracelets, and another two that attended the Speak Now and Red tours- this would be their third time seeing her.
Parking passes started getting scanned just before 2, and probably 10-15 minutes later, we were all on our way to parking lot G. We found our spots and RUSHED to the merch booth. Thankfully we were one of the first there, so there wasn't a long wait at all. I got the tour-exclusive Midnights: Late Night Edition CD and a cream tour shirt, my sister got a medium blue crewneck, and my mom got a quarter-zip and water bottle. And from there, the waiting game began.
Gates opened at 4:30 but my sister and I decided to get in line at 5. It wasn't that long of a wait to get in at all, as the lines were moving quickly. We got our tickets scanned and I let out an excited "we made it!!" once we stepped through the gate. We then got our light bracelets and made our way to our seats. And let me tell you- once I stepped through and saw everything... it took my breath away.
Tumblr media
We left after a bit to get popcorn and Sprite (unfortunately missing most of Gracie Abrams and my sister's favorite from her- 21), but when we got back, MUNA was a few minutes from taking the stage. Their opening set was very enjoyable, and they even brought Gracie back on for their last song.
But then, just 30 minutes later... it was time. A clock appears on the screen and counts down to zero. And then finally- Taylor appears on stage, starting her Lover era set off with 'Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince'. I was yelling and incredibly excited- as was the rest of this sold-out show. 'Cruel Summer' followed, and yes, my sister and I YELLED THAT BRIDGE.
From there, she would go from era to era. Following Lover was Fearless, and everyone sang their hearts out. evermore was next, and I loved waving my flashlight to 'marjorie' and yelling the bridge to 'champagne problems'.
After that, my FAVORITE era ever- reputation. It was the era that I had the most video of. I got a good chunk of each song, but recorded the most at '...Ready for It?' and the 'Don't Blame Me/Look What You Made Me Do' mashup. I yelled so much, I have no idea how my throat isn't sore as of writing this.
Once the snakes slithered off (literally, there was a big snake on screen, not real thankfully), it was time for the small Speak Now segment. 'Enchanted' was a beautiful performance with amazing dresses and dancers. But little did I know that the addition from the night before would be carried over to this show- 'Long Live' was added to our setlist. Taylor and the band all got in a line for the song, and it was definitely something I'll remember all the time. I remember looking up at the stars as I heard the song... this one means so much to me and it made me just a little emotional.
Next was Red! This was an incredibly fun set with all the singles we know, and a full-production performance of the 10-minute version of 'All Too Well'. This was all I wanted out of a live performance of the song, and experiencing it made me so so happy. I've always wanted something more than an acoustic production for a live performance of it, so the full production made everything much more special.
folklore was next. The album that released while I was on vacation... I will always remember it as that. Just like evermore, this set was so so beautiful, matching the aesthetics of the album perfectly. The spoken interlude with the lyrics of 'seven' was so poetic and relaxing. The new pop-rock style production for some of the songs was incredible too, especially for 'august' and 'my tears ricochet'.
The folklore cabin would then be outlined with white lights, more white lines and lights appeared on the screen, and then- 'Style' played. We were in the 1989 era. All of her hits from this album were played. 'Blank Space', 'Shake It Off', 'Wildest Dreams', and of course, 'Bad Blood'.
With 'Bad Blood', the house graphic that was shown all throughout the concert was burnt down. There was a fire... quite literally! Pyrotechnics were used and I could feel the fire that shot up from the sky from my seat. It caught me off-guard, but I loved it so much.
After this was arguably the most exciting part of the tour- the surprise songs. To add a bit of background, each show has two surprise songs- one that's played on guitar and another on piano. Taylor could seemingly play anything during this set, and it's always fun finding out what she'll play.
To add even more background, during the Speak Now tour there was a song that she played on a special koi fish-decorated guitar. That song was 'Last Kiss'. It also has a lyric about the date July 9th. This naturally led me to believe, correctly, that...
Yes. She brought the guitar out. She said that the next day was July 9th. She played 'Last Kiss'. I fucking yelled. Volume warning for the video below.
If you somehow have trouble hearing me, I'm the one going "It's the red dress!" and "THE KOI- NO! NO! OH MY GOD!". Hope that helps!
Not only did she play it... but she had to start the song over twice. The first time she messed the lyrics up. The second time, she got them right and THOUGHT she messed them up again. I don't think there's a song that's been messed up twice, especially like 'Last Kiss', from what I know.
The next song was another fan-favorite, 'dorothea'. This was another song that I really liked from evermore, and I remember seeing people's online reactions afterwards. It seemed like they were devastated by this combo. While I do feel a bit bad... I feel very happy and honored that I got a special duo.
Then... Taylor dove into the stage. A trap door opened and she took a dive into it, like diving into water. On-stage effects showed her swimming up, while backstage she was getting ready for the final era of the tour. Midnights.
She played the hits 'Lavender Haze' and 'Anti-Hero', but my favorite performances from the era were definitely 'Vigilante Shit' and 'Karma'. The latter was the final song of the show, and it was a wonderful performance. It was colorful, full of energy, and even had fireworks! I remember staying as she showed off the band and dancers, putting my phone down on the ground and doing the hands-heart to her. The night was over.
My sister and I left just as the fireworks and show were ending, and after a few look-backs, we rushed back out to the car to get on the road. Surprisingly, we didn't have to wait in traffic for over an hour, and we all got home at almost 2 AM. My throat was dry, I was a little hungry, but even then... I felt amazing. I had just gotten home from one of the best experiences of my life.
Thinking back on it all now as I write this, I can't help but to wish I could experience it again and again. I know that would be a ridiculous amount of money, but even then... this is something that I want to see so many more times. Hopefully a movie version can come out at some point... but I know that will never match the feeling of being there in person.
I'm incredibly happy that I had the opportunity to go to the show, and I feel so lucky that I could snag those tickets back in November. The wait was worth it, for absolutely everything. I guess you could say that it's been a long time coming.

Sandeul visits Mun and Seokjinie on the Love Yourself World Tour.
*Sandeul's POV*
“Ahh, Mun-ah! There you are! I thought I was going to get lost in this stadium, it’s so huge!!” I said, seeing my friend Mun approach me as I wandered around the stadium. “Samdol! Why do I feel like you were trying to play hide and seek? As soon as I heard you were here, I called you, but you never answered your phone!” she said as we got closer. I pulled her into a hug as we greeted each other. “I thought it would be more fun this way,” I said with a laugh.
“Sounds like they finished their soundcheck?” I asked, hearing the generic background music playing from the main part of the stadium. “Yeah, they just finished like 15 minutes ago… the doors are opening soon, so this place will be swarming with ARMYs any minute,” she replied, beginning to lead the way backstage. “There are already a ton of fans lined up outside! I wasn’t sure if I would ever make it in!” I said with a laugh as I followed her.
Mun and I met almost a year ago at an awards show. At the time, she and Seokjin were just friends, but thanks to my help, the two finally admitted their obvious feelings for each other. Mun has become a close friend. She’s a genuine and loyal friend and she’s a perfect fit for Seokjin. She’s also a BANA and has supported B1A4 and our music in any way she can. BTS’s world tour perfectly lined up with our concerts in Japan, so I am happy to spend the evening with Mun and Seokjin.
“Seokjinie wanted to make sure he saw you before the concert, so we’ll go see him before finding our seats!” Mun said as we approached the backstage and was allowed in by the bodyguard. “I’m glad it worked out that I could come… The concert was all sold out, so I’m thankful we can attend it. Plus, it will give you a night off,” I said. “They always have a couple tickets reserved for guests of the members!” Mun replied with a smile. “I’m so glad you’re here too!! I don’t see many friends outside of the members and staff often enough,” she said, affectionately grabbing my arm.
“Ahhh, Sandeul-ah!” I heard the voice of Seokjin say as we rounded a corner and ran into him. “You made it! But what is this? Is it a date?” he asked teasingly as he eyed Mun’s arm still attached to mine. “Believe it or not, but I’ve never been on a date to a BTS concert, this is a first for me,” Mun teased back. “Seriously though, thank you for attending it with her! Mun-ah’s been working too hard and deserves to have a night just having fun from the perspective of an ARMY, not a staff,” Seokjin said to me.
"I’m so glad our schedules aligned so that we could! I feel like one date with Mun is sufficient payment for me getting you two together in the first place,” I said to Jin, which he smirked at. “Yahhh, you have a point, Sandeul. I know which section you’ll be in, so I’ll be watching out for you!” he replied. “Good luck, Seokjinie! I’ll see you later!” Mun said, giving him a peck on his cheek. “Good luck! I’m not kissing you,” I said with a laugh before Jin left us to get his hair and makeup done.
“Should we go get our seats?” I asked Mun when it was just the two of us again. “Let’s go to the breakroom first and get my stuff,” she said, heading towards one of the nearby rooms. She walked over to one corner and reached into a backpack, pulling out a small fanny pack and then an ARMY Bomb light stick. “I haven’t used this bad boy out in a while! Probably not since the WINGS World Tour!” she said, looking it over. “Ahh, that reminds me,” I said, slipping my backpack off my back. I reached in and pulled out two B1A4 light sticks. “We should totally use these tonight!” I said. “A B1A4 light stick at a BTS concert??” she asked with a laugh.
“You’re a BANA, aren’t you? And besides, it’ll help us stand out in the crowd,” I said, turning one of them on to reveal B1A4’s official light green color. “Why do I feel like that’s something Seokjinie would say?” Mun asked, taking the lit light stick from my hand. “This is such a cute light stick, though!!” she said, looking it over. “Oh! I have a great idea,” she said, reaching in her backpack and pulling out a journal. She pulled out a sheet of stickers that was shoved between two of the pages and pulled a sticker off the sheet, putting it on the bottom of the light stick.
“There we go,” she said, showing me the Jin sticker that she put on her light stick. “I put one sticker in my DSi but have been waiting for the perfect place to put my second one,” she explained before shoving her journal into her backpack and zipping it shut. “Ok, let’s get to our seats!” she said, excitedly. “Let’s goooo!” I said in a sing-song voice, offering her my arm as we skipped out of the room and through the hall to the main part of the stadium, feeling the adrenaline already.
We followed our tickets to the left of the stage in a smaller section with a good view and took our seats. “So how is your solo album coming along?” Mun asked me while we waited for the concert to start. “It’s finished, actually! My comeback will be in just over two months,” I told her. “Wait, really? I had no idea it was so soon!! How come you haven’t told me?” she asked. “Ahhh, you’re literally traveling the world right now! I didn’t want to bother you with a thing as small as my comeback,” I replied.
“Hey, your comeback is NOT a small thing!! I’m so excited to hear all your new music!” she said. Though I haven’t known her for long, Mun was always a big supporter of me and my music. She has said before that I’m her favorite vocalist… besides her boyfriend of course. Though I haven’t told her, nor do I know if I’ll tell her… she and Jin were a big inspiration to my new album. Seeing how much they love each other fueled my songwriting. It’s kind of embarrassing, so I haven’t mentioned that small detail to them.
“Mun-ah, you’re always so faithful in supporting me and my music,” I said to her, grinning from ear-to-ear. “Uh, yeah!! How many times do I have to tell you you’re my favorite singer?” she asked. “I’m such a big fan of you that I'm literally about to wave around your light stick at a BTS concert,” she added. I laughed and shook my head. “Hey! I gave you that light stick!! And you put a Jin sticker on it!” I whined, making Mun laugh. “I’m serious though! I seriously love your music… I will literally come to your comeback show even if I’m still on tour!” she said, making me smile.
“You’re too good, Mun,” I said simply as the lights dimmed and ARMYs began screaming. “It’s starting!!” Mun said, turning on her light stick. I followed suit, and our bright green lights filled up the dark space in front of us, so we were able to see each other. As the music started playing, the fanchants began, and we were soon fully immersed in the experience and thrill of the concert… a thrill that I rarely got from the perspective of the audience.
The concert went on, and Mun and I danced and sang along with the songs. It was during the performance of Jin’s solo song “Epiphany” that I noticed him looking in our direction. Though it’s a very serious and emotional song, when he spotted us at the end of the song, Mun and I made funny faces at him and shook our bright green light sticks so he would notice us. He didn’t break out in laughter like we were aiming for, but I did notice a small smirk come across his face, then he blew a kiss at our- er- at Mun’s direction.
“He did so good!!” Mun said, fanning herself off as if she had gotten warm from fangirling too hard. “He really did,” I agreed, impressed by how much his vocals have improved since the last time I heard him sing live. The rest of the concert was just as lively and fun, and as it came to a close, Mun and I did our best to navigate through the crowd to get to the backstage entrance we had used before the concert. We made it through the crowds and into the backstage area, where all of the members and staff were recovering from the high-energy concert.
“Seokjinie!” Mun called into the crowd of staff. “Mun-ah!!” he replied, easing his way through the crowd of staff and walking towards where we were. He put a sweaty arm around me and Mun each. “B1A4 light sticks? Really?” he asked me with a laugh. “Hey, you were able to spot us, weren’t you?” I asked defiantly. “The concert was really great!” I added. “Yahhh, thank you! It felt really good,” Seokjin replied as he released us from his sweaty grip.

Can you do one where Harry take his children and YN to one of his concert and their just dancing around singing along on stage with Harry.
i love this concept so much!! i kinda of wanna make it sad though soooo it’s gonna be harry’s final show :/ hope you enjoy;
oli - 29, felix - 27, belle - 24
The concert had been amazing, but unfortunately it was coming to its’ end now.
The final show.
That’s what Harry had decided to call it; a clever play on words with reference to his first ever solo single. The last 50 years had been a rollercoaster for Harry, from growing up just a kid in Cheshire, to going on the X Factor and winning the hearts of millions and from being in the most successful band of the decade to going solo and still being absolutely beloved. Times had changed, though. Harry had changed. He had a beautiful family of 3 now, excluding his wonderful wife. His children were his universe, no question about it, but they were getting older now - Harry was getting older. He was 50 this year and with that in mind he’d decided to retire. Retiring had involved a long conversation with you, along with a bottle of red wine, about whether it was the right decision or not. But it was - is.
You had suggested he put on one final, massive show, to celebrate his life and his achievements along with all that the fans have too. Tickets were open internationally and it was being streamed on various TV outlets for those who couldn’t attend. The tickets sold within 47 seconds. 47 seconds. It was being held in the Olympic Stadium in London, because it was Harry’s home and it held the most number of people he could genuinely allow.
The concert had started with ‘Fine Line’ songs, which merged into HS1 songs with a few One Direction songs as well. The entire set list had been composed by the fans with various polls on social media, with the concert supposedly lasting 2 hours (although with support artists and a few extra surprises it was more likely going to be 3!)
It had been beautiful so far. Magical. Unforgettable.
Every chance he got, without making it grossly obvious, he looked at you. He'd told you to stick your thumbs up at him every time he caught your eye, so he knew that you were okay - and every time, you did.
The concert was coming to an end now, which everyone was dreading. How could +30 years feel like it'd only been thirty minutes? You were devastated, so you could only imagine what his fans were thinking.
"Hey!"
The end Kiwi, for the second time, strummed throughout the arena and you knew it was time for the final song. His final song.
"Mum, is this the end?" Belle asked you, from where she was standing next to you. You had been dancing together all night and gotten progressively more tired. Your feet hurt. Your throats burned. Yet, as always, it was so worth it.
"Yes, Belles, it is." You tell her, and she pouted sadly. "Dad won't want to see you sad love, okay? He can still sing to you before bed?" You teased her, reminding her of a time when Harry would do such a thing, not wanting her to be all sad. It was supposed to be a celebration, but even you could admit that is was pretty hard-hitting.
"Really mum?" She asked.
You booped her nose annoyingly, before answering. "Every night if you want him to."
The lights changed from their green tone, thanks to Kiwi, back to a bright, white light. It beamed on Harry, making him look even more like the angel that he is. He dragged his microphone back to the centre stage and took a deep breath for beginning a speech he'd told you he'd prepared.
"So this is it, my friends." He laughed sadly into the microphone. He brushed his hair back and took out his in-ears to hear the audience. They were all awwing and crying, but what else did you expect? Their favourite artist was retiring - who wouldn't be crying a river?
"I, um. I'd like to take a bit of time to thank certain people." He coughed, something he always did after performing Kiwi due to his asthma. You thought it was lovely that he'd planned a speech to thank his management and crew. They did so much work backstage and you definitely didn't think they got enough credit for their hard work.
"Okay. I've made a little list..." Harry pulled out a tiny bit of crumpled paper from his pocket. "Just in case I forget anyone." He joked to himself, but made everyone laugh anyways. "So I guess first off, I should start with you lovely people." He pointed around the whole stadium, showing he was talking about the fans. "What you have done for me is indescribable. I think to myself, everyday, am I worthy of even being here—"
"Yes!" An army of agreement echoed around the arena, making Harry stop, blush and smile to himself.
"Well thank you! Um. You have been the best fans ever, and I know you will continue to be. I know you don't owe me anything, but all I ask you to keep loving yourselves and treating people with kindness, because I know I can count on you lot to do that, for me." He sniffled at the end, making you bite your lip to prevent the tears from falling for you. He looked so vulnerable right now, but you knew he'd be feeling on top of the world.
"Jheez." He sniffles again. "That's one thank you down and i'm already crying." He looked to his band to share the joke with.
“Dad’s such a wuss.” Oli laughed, holding his arm around Beas waist, making the people around you chuckle in agreement.
“Shut up you - Mr-tears-in-your-eyes!” You pointed out, laughing as he flipped you the bird - which then got him a hit off his grandma Anne.
All of Harrys family and friends were here, in a special cornered off section. It was such a thoughtful thing for Harry to do. All his family, and a fair few of yours, were sat down along with Harrys closest friends. Everyone was sharing laughs and drinks, whilst using every inch of space to dance along to your husbands boastful music.
"Secondly, my touring family. From Jeff and Ben, to Sarah's Kitchen, Adam, Mitch, Sarah, Charlotte and Nyoh, not forgetting everyone backstage and behind the lights, music and cameras. You've all been the greatest. Everything you do is second to none. You're all talented, warm-hearted, people whom I will carry in my heart forever. Thank you." You noticed members of the crew and band starting to tear up now.
"Moving on to my boys. We've been through it all, lads, and I couldn't have asked for four better brothers than you all. Louis. Liam. Niall. Zayn. Thank you." Everyone cheered ten times louder, maybe because this was as close to a One Direction reunion as the fans were ever going to get, but definitely because Harry had mentioned Zayn. You saw a girl faint at the mere mention of all the boys in the same sentence. The boys lifted up their beers to Harry, stood close by to where you were standing.
"I guess I should say thank you to the women who made all this possible. Mum. Gem. Thank you for signing me up all those years ago. Thank you for believing in me. You've made me the - crap, sorry! - the man I am now and I love you both." Harry prayed to them both, whilst bowing, and swiftly wiped away the tears afterwards. Anne and Gemma, on the other hand, were proudly crying.
"Ol, Fix and Belles. You rascals make me get out of bed every morning and give me more of a purpose in life. You four give me so much joy and happiness. I love you all, even if you do drive me up the wall on an early Saturday morning! Thank you, my loves." You stood close to all your children, giving them the support they needed in this moment. Belle was crying against your chest, the ever-so-emotional woman she was. Felix was stood up, with Heather, with his drink raised to his dad. Oli was to your side, trying to remain cool and stoic, but you still caught the tears that ran down his face.
"Now." The audience calmed down again after awing over your babies. Harry cleared his throat before beginning again. "This evening keeps on reminding me of a very special person in my life. Someone who is my everything and that's my beautiful wife, Y/N." His words make your breath hitch in your throat. You never expected him to say anything about you. I mean, what had you done?
"Mum." Belle called out to you, in affirmation that this was real.
"She's more than just a wife. She's a lover. She's my muse. She's my best-fucking-friend, apologises for swearing but sue me. I was hesitant to let go of all this, at first. What would I do with myself now? You know? People tell me i'm 'happiest on stage', and for a time that was true. Until I met Y/N. She's made me realise that family makes me the happiest. She makes me the happiest." He jumped down off stage, taking the microphone with him. He ran his hands along the fans in the front row, but had no intention of stopping until he met you.
You felt Belle leaving your side, but you were too captivated by Harry to fully understand what was happening.
"So what am I going to do now, you ask? Well..." Harry cheekily smiled at you. "I'm going to make her the happiest woman alive, just as she makes me the happiest man." You began to cry again and the chorus of thousands of fans clapping and screaming surrounds you, only to all stop when his lips meet yours. He tasted like a combination of salty sweat and mint, but he was home. After a minute of crying, kissing and 'i love yous' , Harry ran back to the stage before Jeff could shoot him.
"Thank you all. All my love." He said whilst adjusting his microphone. "Please sing along if you know the words." He asked, full well knowing every single person will be screaming out the lyrics to him.
"Just stop you're crying it's the sign of the times. Welcome to the final show. Hope you're wearing your best clothes."

Familiar Face ~ Kim Namjoon
Tumblr media
“Why did you never tell me who you were?” You snapped across at him as he pulled you to one side of the corridor. “Has all this time really been a lie?”
“I’m sorry, I don’t know what to say.”
“I’m so sorry,” a voice yelled, a pair of hands grabbing at your arms to pull you up as you stumbled into the shelf of books. “Are you alright?”
You quickly pulled yourself together, straightening your dress out, looking up at the owner of the arms who had saved you from a fall. “I’m alright, are you? I really should pay more attention to where I’m going.”
He chuckled gently, passing you the book that you’d spilt as you toppled, pushing you carefully to one side as a few people tried to pass you both. Your cheeks were red as you smiled apologetically at the passers by before looking back up at your saviour.
Their eyes rolled as you silently apologised for causing a bit of scene, scoffing at the two of you as his hand continued to hold onto you as he made sure you were steady. “I’m Namjoon,” he finally spoke, introducing himself.
“Y/N.”
His brows knitted together as he heard your name, tilting his head as he tried to figure you out. “That’s not a Korean name?”
Your head nodded, although that was a pretty obvious statement about yourself. In just a short time in Seoul, you’d noticed a lot of attention from the locals as they noticed you walking around in different places.
“I’m foreign, but I’m here on a bit of gap year,” you informed him, quickly finding yourself feeling quite comfortable around him, “essentially, I’m a student who has no direction or plan of what they want to do with their life.”
A light giggle came from him as he finally dropped his arm back to his side, “I know plenty of students who have no idea what to do. Seoul’s a pretty cool place to come though to travel, how are you finding it?”
“Well,” you began, brushing a nervous hand through your hair, “it’s fair to say I have not mastered Korean at all, to be honest most of my days are a bit of a mess. I’m getting by, but it’s a struggle.”
Before you knew it, Namjoon had invited you for coffee in the café of the bookstore to try and get to know each other better. He’d convinced you he had plenty of tips on surviving life in Korea which seemed far too good to turn down, and after nearly crashing into him earlier, buying him a coffee was the least you could do. On a spare piece of paper, he wrote down several phrases that would help you in day-to-day life, answering the questions that you had about the culture and the way of life.
“What about you?” You suddenly asked once he’d finished lecturing on you on what you’d need to know. “Seeing as you know so much about me, can I get to find out about you? There must be something interesting about you with such a proficiency of English.”
His shoulders calmly shrugged, but on the inside his heart pounded. He looked around the room, spotting a group of students rushing in to grab a drink during their lunch break, pushing past each other to reach the front of the queue.
“I teach English,” he informed you, gulping as your eyes lit up. “I guess you need to have pretty good proficiency to be able to teach the language. It’s probably where my love of a good book comes from too.”
You nodded, listening intently as he began to tell you all about his day as a teacher and the students that he taught. You were very intrigued as you learnt more and more about him, as soon as you looked at him you definitely had an impression that he could be a teacher, he dressed himself well, and had a very approachable look about him.
The two of you sat and talked for a little while longer before being interrupted by the vibrations of his phone. He quickly placed his hand over it before you had the chance to look down at him, hanging up on the call and sliding his phone into the pocket of his jacket.
“Do you not need to get that?” You quizzed.
His head shook, finishing off the mug of coffee in front of him. “It’s a friend, he’s been having a bit of a crisis recently, rings me constantly. We have five other friends but for some reason he just seems a bit dependent on me.”
“I imagine as a teacher you tend to do a good job leading and guiding people,” you spoke, watching as his eyes darted to look across at you.
As soon as he realised how he’d reacted, he relaxed back in his seat, grabbing his jacket that was wrapped around the chair and slipping it on. You took that as a sign that he was heading off, finishing your drink too, picking up your pile of books.
“I should probably go and check on him, but maybe I could give you my number and we could meet up again some time,” he suggested, holding his hand out to take your phone so he could put his number into it.
You took your phone from your pocket and passed it across to him, offering your hand out for his once he’d put his number into your phone. A heavy breath came from him as he scrambled his brain quickly, knowing his phone and all the contacts he had would give his game away.
“I’ll text you from my phone, save my number that way.”
“Alright,” you chimed, unassuming of the wave of panic that rushed over him, as you led the way down to the tills so you could buy your books and head out of the store.
“Start talking,” you snapped, without a care for how loud your voice had gotten. “I can’t believe that you’d do something like this to me,” you stuttered, quickly wiping underneath your eyes as tears streamed down your cheeks.
Your body pressed against the wall, sinking to the floor as Namjoon lowered himself to your height, trying to take a hold of your hands, which you quickly pulled away.
For months, the two of you had spoken since you met at the bookstore, most days you texted and called each other, telling each other about your days. For months you’d sat and listened to him tell you about his days in the classroom and the troubles he was having with coming up with work when all along he was a global superstar travelling the world.
When your friend offered you the spare ticket, she had for a band performing that night, you jumped at the chance to head to a concert and enjoy some live music. You were clueless to who the band she loved was, deciding not to do any research beforehand and enjoy them at face value at the concert. You knew they must have been something special having sold out the biggest arena in your city, as soon as you got within a couple of miles of the stadium, every street was full of fans piling towards the arena.
Even when you’d told him that night that you were heading to a concert, he remained quiet. Instead, he chose to tell you all about a school trip him and his students had been on to a local museum to look at the history of the Korean War. Whilst you told him how excited you were to try out a new band, you were clueless to the fact that he was actually just a matter of minutes away from you, and worst of all, a member of that band.
He thought he could get away with it, the arena was huge, and the chances of you being able to recognise his face from far away were slim. Having already asked the cameramen to not focus on him for the night, lying through his teeth that his face was bloated and breaking out, he thought he’d be able to win. Little was he to know that your friend had purchased tickets in the fourth row, a spot where every single face on the stage was clear as day.
As soon as his eyes landed on you, his stomach dropped. The lyrics he was supposed to sing were abandoned, his hand came down, his whole heart turned numb to your eyes staring back at him. You were conscious of your friend beside you, simply shaking your head whilst trying to stop your tears from falling.
Namjoon persevered with the concert as best as he could, aware of your quizzical eyes watching his every move as you tried to figure out what was going on. You hoped and prayed there was a mix up somewhere, maybe he had a doppelganger or a twin that coincidentally shared the same name, every possible idea that tried to make sense of the situation came to mind.
Once the concert ended, you saw a text from him on your phone asking you to head into one of the wings. You told your friend to go, making up an excuse that you had spotted another friend in the crowd that you were going to meet up, but instead you were heading backstage to confront the man that had stolen your heart, and lied his way to it.
“I was scared to tell you the truth,” he whispered, allowing you to move your hands away from him, “I know this probably makes no sense right now, but you have to understand Y/N.”
You scoffed as he tried to reason with you, struggling still to process exactly what was going on. “Why would you be scared to tell me who you were? How did you even manage to keep up this lie for so many months?”
“I don’t know.”
“When,” you stated, taking him by surprise. “When did you plan on telling me the truth, when you proposed, when we got married? You told me that you were falling in love with me Namjoon, I told you I was falling in love with you too.”
“None of this changes the way I feel about you,” he sighed, brushing his hand against the top of your head, “you’re right, I am falling in love with you.”
“But you’re falling in love with the person I said I was,” you challenged, looking across at him for the first time. “In reality, I don’t know the first thing about you right now. The man I fell in love with was a lie.”
His head quickly shook, the person he’d shown you really was him. The kind, caring, considerate guy was never a lie, he was still Namjoon, just a little bit more of a fabricated version that he hoped you’d fall in love with. The second he didn’t tell you who he was at the bookstore he regretted, there had been several times where he wanted to give up the lie and tell you who he was, but he just couldn’t.
He was in too deep.
He hated lying to you, especially when he really caught feelings for you, the more the lie tangled, the harder it was going to be to eventually untie it again. He thought he had time to piece together a way out of it, to try and soften the shock and not frighten you away.
“Don’t say that,” he whispered, moving his hand down the side of your face so that it rested against your shoulder.
You were too exhausted and emotional to fight him away, moving your hands to cover your face yet again when you felt more tears spill. “Why did you do it Namjoon?”
“Because too many people have judged me for being Namjoon the singer rather than Namjoon the man. The moment I introduced myself to you, I knew I found myself liking you, it was a moment of panic. Do you remember the students that walked in?” He asked, as your head slowly nodded. “I took one look at them and then the next thing I knew, you were under the impression I was an English teacher. It felt nice that you valued me as a person, not for my name or my career, or even my money. I liked the feeling of being appreciated for being me, it meant the world to me that you fell in love with my personality rather than the materialistic things I own.”
“Now it makes sense,” you whispered with a shaky breath, “you never wanted to show me around your house, but that’s because there’s no teacher in the world that would be able to afford your house. Or every time when I told you to send me some work to see if I could help, you didn’t, because what you actually were working on was song lyrics.”
Several people passed you both by as Namjoon tried to calm you down, shielding your body as best as he could with yours. Each time he touched you, your body tensed up, refusing to let him in fully as you slowly began to learn about who he really was.
“Sorry will never be enough to make this right,” Namjoon whispered, squeezing your shoulder gently, “I can’t begin to imagine how you’re feeling right now or how this looks to you. If you want to cut everything off tonight, I’d understand. But you have to believe me Y/N when I tell you the Namjoon you fell in love with, really is me. Nothing about who I am as a person in your eyes is different in real life.”
Your head slowly shook, with your head and your heart telling you two different things, you didn’t know where to look or where to go. It was safe to say you’d fallen for Namjoon, you’d spent months with him, even from afar, he’d supported you in getting yourself sorted at the end of your travelling, he’d encouraged you as you searched for a job, even helping you write your application to get into somewhere.
“Where do we go from here?” He questioned, feeling a hot tear roll down his cheek. “I don’t want to lose you Y/N.”
You moved your hands away from your face, shuffling along the wall to make room for him to sit beside you. You didn’t even need to invite him before he filled the space, resting a cautious hand against your leg as finally your tears began to settle. You couldn’t bring yourself to hold onto him or lean into him, instead you sat motionlessly, staring against the wall of the corridor.
“Is there anything else you need to admit to, other than the fact you’re not a teacher?”
“No, that’s everything.”
“I don’t want to be lied to anymore Namjoon, if there’s something more to you, either you tell me now, or I’m gone,” you warned him.
He nodded, puffing his cheeks out, “that’s it, I promise. And I mean that promise this time, I’m not saying it just to protect you.”
You sat and listened as he vowed to be honest with you, about every single detail about his life. You were overwhelmed by the situation you found yourself in, never had you imagined seeing yourself falling in love with a global superstar, a man adored by millions of fans around the world.
“Why don’t you tell me about what you really do? Seeing as I’ve never actually heard of your group before,” you suggested. You slowly turned your body inwards so that you were facing him, choosing to keep your eyes away from his, staring down at the marbled floor as he spoke.
“I don’t even know where to begin,” he giggled, “for years now we’ve been as a group, obviously we started off in Korea, and then our music travelled, the group grew, and now we’re selling out arenas around the world. That’s the simplest way to put it.”
“And why did you actually learn English?”
“Because my family and I thought it would be a good skill to have in the future,” he informed you, “you’ll probably think it’s stupid, but I learnt it by watching Friends?”
“Really?” You exclaimed.
He nodded back at you, “I used to sit and listen to everything they said, and then eventually I could recite a few lines. It’s been useful for my job too, I can communicate with so many of our international fans, it’s probably helped us grow as we’re not just seen as another Korean music group, we’re seen as a band who can also hold an English conversation too.”
Your eyes began to search for his as he continued to give you a bit of background on him and his group. You could see the passion in his eyes and the love he had for what he did. But you could also see how difficult and terrifying his world was too, appreciating why he made the decision to keep you safe from it all. The more he spoke and opened up to you, the more you could see how hurt he was to have lied to you. It didn’t matter what he said, Namjoon was aware that nothing could justify the situation that he’d put you in, it was a place he never wanted you to be.
“If you’d have told me all of this from the start, it wouldn’t have changed things,” you pointed out to him when he finally finished talking. “I don’t judge someone on what they do or how many noughts are in their bank account.”
“I’ve heard that before,” he sighed.
“But you wouldn’t have heard it from me,” you quickly reiterated. “I’m not going to lie to you Namjoon, I’m better than that.”
It was a low blow, but one he knew he fully deserved. He’d treated you terribly, betrayed the trust that you’d put in him, and yet somehow, you were still sat and willing to listen to him talk. He began to wonder if maybe there really was a way of salvaging the mess he’d made, if perhaps you were willing to take on the real Namjoon he’d tried so hard to save you from.
“What do you want to happen to us?” He asked as his own thoughts began to run away from him. “Do you want me to go?”
Your head shook, dabbing gently underneath your cheeks. “Right now, I don’t know what I want really, but when I’ve spent six months falling for you, I can’t just see you walk away. I trust that your feelings for me were real, and I trust that now you’re starting to be honest with me.”
“I made a mistake, an enormous mistake that you’ll probably never forgive me for, but that won’t ever change the way I feel about you. I don’t want to live a lie to you anymore, and whilst I’m scared to really introduce you to my life, I promise that I’ll still love and protect you always.”
“You think I’m going to stay with you?”
“Well…I’d hoped.”
You sighed gently, “you broke me tonight Namjoon when I saw you stood on the stage. You knew I was going to be here, and I can guarantee you tried to find every way possible to make sure I didn’t find out. What hurts the most is when I needed you over the past few days, you were just down the road, within walking distance to be able to comfort and support me.”
“I couldn’t risk it, I didn’t want to break your heart by doing this, but instead that’s exactly what I’ve done.”
“I need time,” you sighed, smiling softly across at him, “I don’t want to give up on us, and I want to be able to trust in you, but that can’t happen overnight. I’ve gone from thinking I’m dating an English teacher in a Korean cram school to finding out I’m dating a Billboard winner with millions of screaming fans who chant his name night after night.”
His hand slowly reached out, intertwining his fingers in with yours. He brought your hand up to press a kiss against the back of it, wiping away the droplets of tears that had landed from your cheeks throughout the night. Your hand slowly squeezed against his as you rested your head down onto his shoulders, snuffling gently as you fought back the tears once again.
“I’ll never hurt you again,” he whispered down to you, “I promise I won’t be the guy you think I might be.”
“You’ve got one chance Namjoon, I want to learn to love the real you, no secrets, no lies, just honesty. That’s all I ever want from you.”
“There’s no more secrets, and definitely no more lies. You’ve stolen my heart and I can’t let that go, not now, not ever. I just hope you know what a crazy ride you’re in for dating me, the real me.”
“If it means being with you, I’ll ride the craziness. Just don’t break my heart, ever again, please.”
“Never again, I promise I’ll make you happy, forever.”

“Hey, meeps,” You hear Hoseok’s voice calling to you from the end of the aisle, his new nickname for you now gaining its own nickname as well. “If sunflower oil is made from sunflowers, and coconut oil is made from coconuts...then baby oil…”
He trails off, raising his eyebrows and giving you a scandalous look as he holds up a bottle of baby oil. For a moment, you just stare at him blankly before sighing and rolling your eyes in amusement. Taking the bottle from him, you place it back down onto the shelf before linking your arm through his.
Thankfully, he lets you direct him back to the little section they have in this makeup and skincare store that’s fully dedicated to Korean beauty. This is one of those strange stores where they have tons of products that are basically on sale yet also have branded stuff alongside it. Not that you cared though; it had the Korean brands you swore by for your skin and you were more than tempted to try out the Japanese beauty stand next to it.
For someone who isn’t particularly bothered about the whole concept of skincare, though you had managed to convince him to at least improve his routine, Hoseok was being a pretty good boyfriend right now. He hadn’t complained about the half an hour you’d spent perusing the makeup to find new stuff to put into your collection and he still wasn’t complaining as you filled your basket with face masks.
If anything, he’d managed to entertain himself quite well.
But you think he was being good purely because you’d gone with him to a concert last night. It had been for one of his favourite bands, Metallica, and he’d ended up with a spare ticket as Jungkook had ended up ill with food poisoning. He had been about to go on his own, but you hadn’t liked the thought of him being lonely so you’d gone with him.
You’d recognised some of the songs they’d played from whenever Hoseok played them in the car or the house but it hadn’t been your scene. Still, it had been fun enough and you’d more than enjoyed seeing Hoseok happy as he’d rocked out to his beloved band.
It did mean that you were exceptionally tired today though as the two of you hadn’t gotten home from the stadium they’d performed in until after 2 am. That had been the closest performance apparently and you’d been shattered, sleeping until well after 11 am. Hoseok had promised you a day of relaxation, which you’d jumped on by asking him to do a full Korean skincare routine with you tonight.
He’d agreed, and you’d eagerly dragged him out to this store to replenish your supplies. The makeup was just because it was there and you couldn’t resist it. Already you were coming up with ideas for looks in your head that you could create and then put onto your Instagram. Moving places had meant that you hadn’t done many looks lately and you were eager to change that.
Especially now that you had a yard to take nice photos in. Hoseok and you had both been working hard on the weekends and evenings to transform the yard from the overgrown mess it had been into something nice. Nothing too amazing or expensive as it wasn’t your own house but nice enough that it made from some pretty aesthetic photos.
Placing a final bottle of moisturiser in your basket, you smile at Hoseok and hold it up proudly. He just looks at you in amusement for a second before smiling back.
“All done! We can go to pay now.” While you pay for all your new stuff, he goes and waits outside for you. Which you discover means he intently window shops at the video game store, getting that look on his face when he wants to do something.
Feeling that your bladder is a little too full right now, you glance over to where the public restrooms are and move over to Hoseok. “You can go in if you want, I’m going to the restroom so I’ll be back in a few minutes.”
He takes your bag for you like the gentleman he is before disappearing inside, immediately making a beeline for the Playstation 4 section. You have a feeling he might be about to drop some money given how interested he’d been in some of the new games that have been released in the last few months.
Any thoughts of games are wiped from your mind very quickly though when you’re on the toilet. The sight of red staining your underwear has your eyes widening in horror as you realise that your period has decided to make an early appearance. For a moment you simply stare, brow creasing before you reach for your bag and grab your phone.
The period app you use says that you shouldn’t have started for another four days and you curse your body for doing whatever it likes. Scowling at the stain, you attempt to clean it before sighing in defeat, acknowledging that at least you were wearing black jeans today.
Another rummage in your bag causes you to find another problem, this one sending ice water running through your veins. Grabbing it and placing it onto your knees, you visually scan through every space and almost pull out the entire contents before letting out a small sound of despair.
You had no tampons.
Cursing to yourself quietly, you finish up and make do with an almost ridiculously large amount of toilet paper. Rushing out, you wash your hands before moving over to the machine that always had condoms, sanitary pads and tampons.
Only to see the ‘sold out’ sign on both the buttons you need. Groaning quietly, you do a little dance of frustration as you realise there are not even any other women in the restroom for you to ask. Not that you would. As if your social anxiety would allow for that!
So instead you have to slink outside and into the game shop, lip jutting out in a slight pout as you become hyper-aware of yourself. Can other people smell the blood? What if you leak through all the toilet paper and it does somehow show through your jeans?! What if you leak through onto a chair!
Hoseok wanted to get something to eat after this and you were dreading having to sit there for ages. Playing with your fingers nervously, you move over to where he’s crouched in front of the PS4 stand. He already has two game cases in his hand and is reading the back of another one, your bag of goodies on the floor between his feet.
Glancing up at you, he grins brightly before showing the cover of one of the cases he’s got.
“Look! The Spider-Man game is on sale! You want to play this, right?” Absentmindedly, you nod. The back of your mind takes in the fact that he’s also got Divinity: Original Sin 2 in his ‘buy’ hand and the other case he’s considering is the Doom remake. You wish that you could let him browse more but the drug store wasn’t close by and you didn’t want to just abandon him suddenly.
Still, the thought of what was going on down below was overwhelming and you found yourself shaking his shoulder slightly.
“Hey, are you done? Can we go?” Reaching down, you take your bag back and stand back as he rises, the crease between his brows letting you know he’s a little confused as to why you’re suddenly rushing him. He knows full well that there’s nothing important you need to do.
Still, though, he doesn’t question it and instead nods slowly. While he goes and pays for the games he’s buying, you go to wait by the entrance. Wrapping your arms around your waist, you realise that the low ache in your back that you’d had for a day or so was one of those early symptoms you got of your period.
Only you hadn’t thought anything about it. Not when you’d spent a few hours last night stood up. You’d just thought it was because you’d done a lot of work in the yard combined with the concert. Apparently not.
You’re pretty much already walking in the direction of the drug store by the time Hoseok comes out, causing him to have to jog to catch up with you. All you can think about is whether or not walking faster or slower would make things worse.
“Woah, hey, where are we going?” Hoseok asks, matching his speed to yours. You’re just thankful that there are not too many people out shopping today because it would only increase your stress levels if there was a big queue that you had to wait in or something.
“Just, to this store.” Admittedly, you’re not being very open and honest right now. But you’re embarrassed. Hoseok is fully aware of your periods and that they’re very much a thing that happens. They’d become a little more irregular recently as you’d had a copper IUD put in around a month before moving in with him.
Nothing drastic or anything, but then again they were also sometimes longer and a little heavier than you were used to when you were on the pill. It wasn’t exactly something you enjoyed talking about with anyone though; Soyeon and Chungha were pretty open about this kind of stuff but you had always mostly stayed quiet whenever they talked about it.
Which was silly. They were women who fully understood what you were going through and Hoseok understood that it was a monthly event. So it wasn’t like he’d be shocked to find out or anything. If anything, you’d probably done a bit of a bad job in explaining some things to him as you’d always got too shy whenever he’d asked things.
That was bad, you were well aware. But you’d only really got comfortable talking about sexual things with him. You knew that there were guys who thought it was gross that women bled for a week or so. Hoseok had never made those kinds of comments, but still. You were a work in progress.
“We’ve already been in here, why are you dragging me like Jason Voorhees is running after us with a knife?” He whines when you enter the store. You’re not surprised he’s confused because he’s right, you had come in here earlier and picked up what you needed. Still, though, he follows close by.
“I thought we didn’t need anything else.” Comes from him next, his lip pouting and you get the sense that he wanted to spend more time in the game store. A rush of guilt and shame washes over you, causing you to grip his hand even tighter as you shuffle awkwardly in place for a moment.
Finally in the store though, you realise just how silly you’re being with him. It’s not like he’s going to get outraged or upset. And you’re sure he’d have been much more willing to come along if he hadn’t been dragged along half the street with no idea what was happening.
Leaning into him, you cough slightly before swallowing as you feel yourself go hot with anxiety.
“My period started.” You whisper, keeping the words quiet enough so that he can hear them without having anyone else overhear. Though the rational part of your mind knew that you shouldn’t give a flying fuck what anyone else thought. It was a natural, bodily function and all that.
Your mind has never quite done things rationally though.
Hoseok has heard you though, you can tell by the way his head tilts to the side ever so slightly. But his expression is blank for a moment before his brow creases in obvious confusion, lips pursing as he contemplates what you’ve just told him.
“Okay...so why are we here?” Annnnd there it is. That famed male obliviousness to female problems. You couldn’t get annoyed at him though, not when he was good with you on everything else. He was cute.
“It’s early? And I have nothing to use. So I need to buy some.” His face changes immediately when he understands finally, mouth curving into an ‘o’ shape as he lets out a noise of recognition. It then contorts into worry for you, his eyes glancing down to your crotch area with wide eyes.
“Wait, so that means you’re...just…” He creates a rushing gesture with his hands, imitating a waterfall as he makes a ‘whoosh’ noise with his mouth. It’s a little too loud for your liking and you hiss at him, poking at his stomach before quickly pulling him over to the menstrual health aisle.
“I’ve used some toilet paper but it probably won’t last. It’s come on pretty hard and fast today. Please don’t laugh.” You beg him and his face sobers immediately, eyes darting over your own as he takes in your distressed appearance. Licking at his lips, he inhales deeply before nodding.
“Okay, you use tampons, right? So like...which ones? You never keep the box.” Automatically he starts to look over all the boxes of tampons; staring at the brands, types and absorption levels like he’s reading signs in Mandarin or something. It makes you want to laugh, despite the situation.
You appreciate his eagerness to help though, even when he points at random boxes with absolutely zero knowledge of what it was.
“What’s the difference in the brands? Is there a difference? Or is it like...when you buy those store brand biscuits and realise they taste the same as the branded biscuits only to find out that they’re made in the same factory and just relabelled?” That makes you snort with amusement, particularly as he’s now holding up a box of Tampax and a store brand to try and see the difference.
He’s not finished yet though, and even though you still feel the urgency to just grab some and run, you can’t help but let him entertain you. Because that’s what he’s doing. You’re not oblivious, you’ve realised over time that if you’re feeling anxious or uncomfortable or shy, Hoseok will often use humour to distract you away from your negativity.
It’s nice, which is why you let him carry on for a minute or so more.
“What are the drops for? And what’s the difference between regular and super? I mean, I think you’re pretty super but is this like...super big or something? Wait, is this plastic?! How does it absorb blood if it’s plastic?” Rolling your eyes at him, you bite your lip to stop the laughter that wants to escape before reaching past him to grab the box you usually buy.
Lifting it, you decide for a quick crash course in tampons. As your boyfriend, you never know when you might need him to run out to the store for some and the last thing you need is him bringing the entirely wrong type back.
“I use Tampax, purely cos it’s just the brand I’ve always used and I’m familiar with it. Super and regular are like the absorption so you’d use a super for the first few days when a period is heaviest. Hence why I’m getting these. The drops are the absorption rating too basically and it’s not plastic, that’s just the applicator that makes it easier to insert.” You say it all pretty quickly, but quietly enough that only he hears.
Not that there’s any need, the store is loud enough that your conversation can’t be overheard and on top of that, there’s no one in this aisle anyway. But Hoseok nods thoughtfully, scanning the front of the box carefully.
“When we get home, I think I need a crash course in periods because I’m feeling pretty useless and dumb right now.” Laughing, you lean up to kiss his cheek quickly before heading in the direction of the cashiers.
“We can do that for you. It’s better to be educated after all. This is where I find out that you have this bizarre knowledge that is unbelievably wrong and I cringe.” Hoseok doesn’t answer back to that, causing you to look back and chuckle at his meek shrug and wince.
“What can I say? I’ve never had a girlfriend long enough to learn and education in high school was terrible. I’m not even gonna try to defend myself.” Humming lightly, you grin at him as you pay before heading out of the store. Looking in the direction of the toilets, you twist your lips as you consider your options.
“You want to eat at that place, right?” You ask, nodding your head towards the Japanese place that was down the opposite end of the street. Hoseok looks that way and nods, confirming his desire to you. Already you can feel your stomach rumble as you imagine the delicious food.
“Okay, we’ll just go there and I’ll go straight to the restroom in there. Come on.” Reaching you, you take his hand and smile up at him, your walk not so hurried now compared to before. Not that you aren’t completely aware of the fact that you’re free bleeding from your vagina right now, but walking faster might just aggravate it more.
You had what you needed, so now you could relax a little more.
-
“Why are there so many steps in this? Don’t you get bored?” Hoseok mumbles, his words a little slurred due to the fact you’re rubbing serum into his cheeks. He’s already been here for ages in the bathroom as you’d used a cleanser to clean his face before exfoliating and then using toner on some cotton pads.
You could tell that he was amused by the whole situation, even though he’d seen you do this many times before. But it was different experiencing it for himself you supposed. Still, he looked so adorable and you cooed to him, squishing his cheeks even more in amusement.
“No. It’s relaxing. You’re supposed to relax.” That makes him scowl, the expression not nearly as intense as he was going for given you’ve got his lips in the cutest pout. Still, you’re finished with that part so you let him go, laughing as he runs his fingers over his skin.
“I’m not relaxed. More...manhandled.” Scoffing, you roll your eyes as you get to work rubbing the serum you need into your skin, focusing on your eyes. The dark circles beneath them were far too...well dark for your liking.
“Okay, how’s your skin lately? Dry? Oily?” Frowning at you, he twists his lips as he considers your question. He’s been taking better care of his skin than he had been before dating you, but you knew that he still didn’t care that much. Surprisingly though, he has an answer for you.
“Dry?” Nodding to yourself, you reach through your box of face masks and pull out a moisturising one. Handing it over to him, you take your own and rip it open, pulling out the mask and carefully putting it on. Hoseok watches you intently before opening up his mask, his face immediately twisting into a cringe.
“Ewwww, oh my god. Why is it so slimy?!” He whines, holding it over the sink like it’s some monster that might kill him. With the mask on your face, you can’t laugh properly like you want to.
“Stop being a baby and put it on.” With a little more whining, he does so, lining it up and putting it onto his face. What follows is then complaints that it’s also cold and feels weird, causing you to roll your eyes at him once more as you help to smooth out any creases in it.
“Right, we’ve got to keep this on for twenty minutes so let’s go watch some Netflix,” Looking over him, you take in how he still manages to look handsome even with a white sheet mask on. “It’s not fair that you always look so good. Honestly.”
Hoseok just shrugs before licking his lips, his reaction immediate as he registers the foul taste. “Oh fuck me, what the fuck. This tastes fucking vile!”
“...you’re not meant to eat it, babe, they don’t make it for the taste.” He washes his hands in the sink to get rid of the remaining residue before following you out to the couch in the living room, Netflix still paused on the large television screen. Kasumi is curled up on her cat tree, fluffy body small as she sleeps quietly.
For around ten minutes, neither of you speak as you continue to watch Warrior Nun. It’s surprisingly got both your attention hooked, so you’re a little surprised when Hoseok suddenly speaks up and distracts you.
“Hey...I know this is a weird time to talk about this but after your whole period thing today it reminded me. So, I’ve been thinking lately. You definitely don’t want kids...right?” He looks at you and you get the impression he would raise his brow if he could. When you nod in response, he blows out a breath slowly.
“Okay...how would you feel if I said I wanted to get a vasectomy? I mean, I know you’ve said you don’t want kids but there’s always a chance that you might and a vasectomy is pretty final. Despite what people say.” Now it’s your for your expression to be mostly hidden by your face mask, your eyes widening until your eyelashes are uncomfortably touching the edges of the holes.
“You want that? I thought guys normally got all weirded out at that prospect. And I don’t want kids, ever. Full stop. Are you sure?” Of all the things you were going to be discussing tonight, you did not expect it to be this. It’s almost amusing that Hoseok has decided right now is the time for something so serious, when you both look so silly.
“I do. I just...I don’t want to risk a pregnancy and I know you’re scared of that too. Also, it’d put less stress on you, I know most birth control is usually aimed at women except for condoms and it’s a lot easier for me to get a vasectomy than for you to get anything done.” That makes you snort in acknowledgement, shifting on the couch until you pull your leg up and wrap your arms around it.
“Yeah, because god forbid a woman not want to fulfil her natural duty and pop out a kid, right?”
“I’ve been looking into it, I’m pretty sure I could get one. If not, I’ll just talk the doctor’s ear off until they let me. Because it’s gonna happen. It’s way easier and less stressful than anything you have to do.” His dual concern for not wanting to cause an accidental pregnancy that neither of you wanted along with not wanting the burden to fall too heavily on you warms you, causing you to reach out and grasp his hand tightly as you squeeze at it.
“Is it easy? Or quick?”
“Apparently. Some guys say it doesn’t hurt at all, others said it hurts. But...I’m pretty sure I want it. I just wanted to check with you that you’d be okay with the idea too. As I said, it’s final.” Hoseok smiles at you as best he can, causing you to shuffle a little closer to him. You’d like to rest your head against his shoulder but you’d just get it covered in face mask gunk.
“I mean, it’s your body. It doesn’t have anything to do with me.” Pointing this out to him, you look up and tilt your head, your statement almost a question.
It makes him sigh and focus on your hands, shifting them until he could interlink his fingers with your own. You let him do so, figuring he should probably be taking the lead in this conversation. It is about him after all.
“We’re in a relationship. A serious relationship and this decision would affect both of us. It’s cutting off the chance for biological kids, despite people saying you might be able to reverse it. I feel you should have a say too.” Nodding slowly, you hum lightly as you consider his words carefully.
“Well, if you want it then I’ll support you completely. I never want children so you don’t have to worry about that. It’s your decision, but I just want to make sure you think it over properly and do research, okay? Don’t go rushing into it.” That makes him snort in amusement.
“Meeps, if there’s one thing you should know by now; it’s that men do not take decisions regarding their dick and balls lightly. You can be damn sure I’m going to be 100% in my decision if I’m going to let someone come near my balls with a scalpel or somet.” The way he says this is so matter of fact that you can’t help but laugh, the sound not as big or bright as you’d like it to be given you still had your mask on.
“Man, I can’t believe I’m talking about someone knifing my balls while I’m sitting here looking like a dollar store Michael Myers.” Hoseok points at himself, his bemusement clearly obvious despite his poor Halloween costume and you giggle softly.
Reaching out, you run your fingers through his hair that’s currently being held back by a bandana and smile at him softly. “Come on, let’s go get these off and start looking human again.”
Hoseok follows you immediately, already peeling the face mask off and making casual comments about how the mask isn’t as slimy as it had once been. You take off your own and drop it into the small bin in the bathroom, making sure that he does the same.
“Okay, rub it in and pat it dry. Make sure you get the excess to go on your throat and stuff, it’s good for your skin there too.” Hoseok looks in the mirror, his face shining obscenely from the residue leftover and grimaces.
“Ew, this feels...gross,” One hand presses to his skin, rubbing it in and cringing. “Is this what it feels like when I cum on your face?”
The comment is so random that you pause for a moment, all thoughts disappearing as you comprehend what he’s just said. A glance at him makes you realise he’s being completely serious, his expression focused on rubbing his face as you’d told him. It’s moments like this that make you love him even more, the blasé comments he makes that are so funny and yet also x-rated.
“No...not really. That’s more...well it’s not all over, you know? And it’s thicker than this. And I don’t know why I’m explaining this to you. You know what your cum feels like.” A snort from him gives away his bemusement.
“Yeah, but I’ve never smeared it all over my face before.”
“Maybe you should. Experience it for yourself for once. It’s not all that good for you by the way, despite what people say. It has protein but it’s not enough to make it worthwhile or anything, so don’t think I’m going to be asking you for your special facials anytime soon.” Looking away from him, you grab the next item on your routine before looking at him with a smirk.
“Damn, there goes my plan to be self-sufficient. Could’ve made a whole organic spa thing out of it.”

Queen live at Civic Auditorium Arena in Omaha, NE, USA - September 13, 1980

Fan Stories
“I don't know if anyone has ever been able to appreciate a rock concert as much as I did when I saw Queen at age 7. I knew the order the songs were supposed to be in, the way the stage was supposed to look, and what the band was supposed to do. And everything happened perfectly. Except for that damn mustache. Late summer 1980, I was pestering my mom to take me into town to get candy. She said, "Do you really want to get candy, or would you rather get tickets to see Queen?" I stopped in my tracks and started being the nicest boy you could imagine. I thought maybe she was kidding, but knew she wouldn't kid me about something like that. I guess my dad had already OKd it too. Like Axl Rose once said about Queen: "They meant everything to me." We drove all the way to Omaha to get tickets: they were $9 in advance, or $11 the day of the show if still available (though now I'm not sure how they weren't sold out immediately). I'm still not quite sure why Queen was playing smaller arenas at that point, since I think they had already begun playing stadiums. Finally, September 13 arrived. I was in 2nd grade. Ads had been all over the radio for this concert. One of my baby-sitters and two of her friends rode up with us also, and they went off on their own when we got there. The show was one of those infamous "general admission" things, so our seats depended solely on how early we arrived. I think we got to the arena at about 9 am... almost a full 12 hours before the show actually started (much longer in 7-year-old hours). A single word, "QUEEN", was boldly displayed on the marquee above the many doors where small lines were beginning to form. Excited bands of people were running/gathering everywhere. Queen was one of the biggest five bands in the world at that time: "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" was on the charts, The Game had just been released, and "Another One Bites the Dust" was soon-to-be released as a single. We picked one of the lines and got ready for what was indeed halfway dangerous: the growing mob of people ready to run in when the doors would open. This was a big issue of the time, as it was the year before that 11 people were crushed to death at the turnstiles of a Who concert. (An episode of the TV show W.K.R.P. in Cincinnati even focused on this.) People were starting to press onto the transparent doors trying to look inside, when suddenly there was the sound of tires screeching from the street: a white limousine honked twice and sped around the corner toward the other side of the arena, and was gone within seconds. The "big kids" screamed and ran after it; I was too small to do this, but we got better places in line! When everyone came back, they said they actually saw Freddie and John get out of it and be scuffled into the building before getting attacked by the mob of people. In the meantime, others around us were starting to talk to my mom. Two of them were a man and a lady who were apparently on date, and they ended up even staying by and sitting by us through the show. Some other people also offered to kind of stay around my mom and I to make sure I'd be safe on the way in. A couple of times, a big fat drunk guy yelled out, "Who's your favorite group?" and of course everyone yelled "Queen!"
Now people were beginning to bang on the doors of the entrance. I think the doors finally opened at around 11 am. When they did, we and other people from several sides of the arena moved in, towards those coming in from other doors on opposite sides: within seconds, everyone had funneled from outside to stopping cold in the lobby, having basically run into each other. This is exactly where everyone stayed for the next two hours. A human shield of several people were intact around my mom and I preventing my being crushed... and all I could see for two hours were a bunch of butts! Once in awhile someone would try and lift me up to see all the people. From the distance, the drunk guy again repeated the "Who's your favorite band?" line a couple of times, realizing that more people could hear him now that he was indoors and echoing, and everyone gave the appropriate response. By the fifth time, only the drunk people were responding to him, and by the tenth time people were laughing and moaning. Every so often, some loud music would come out of the arena like a band was tuning-up, but it wasn't Queen music so everyone figured it was just the opening act. At 1 pm, the turnstiles were finally opened. I was kind of keeping my guard around me as everyone pressed forward, and everything was moving faster the closer we got, but by surveying the area I thought I'd be safe. I had my ticket in my hand. The guy from the couple was going to try and enter first, then me, and then my mom. When I got to the turnstiles, my mom and the guy grabbed my arms on both sides and completely hoisted me over. A surprised old man tore my ticket while I was in mid-air. Suddenly, we were standing relatively calmly inside: the difficult part was over, and we were at least safe from here on out. People were still running everywhere and screaming, but the hallways were pretty big so it wasn't too dangerous as long as we stayed toward the edge. Most people were still outside, since we were somewhat early. An older 12-year-old tore around the corner, then his '70s-style tennis shoes screeched against the floor and he fell down for a second as he decided to which way to go. We knew we were sort of on a mission to walk fast toward a balcony and just get seats instead of wandering around indecisively like others. We went straight up toward the second level balcony, as others ran the opposite way down to the main floor. My mom and I and the people we'd befriended walked right next to the wall, and I pressed against it while just a few feet away scattered groups of people would sometimes run by full-speed. I would have wanted to be on the main floor, but my mom had previously explained to me how, unless we were in the balcony, we would have to actually stand through the whole show (there weren't any chairs on the main floor) and would hardly be able to see anything. Plus, along with the horror stories of people running in at the beginning of a rock concert, I had also heard how people supposedly got crushed to death against the stage... so sitting in the balcony was just fine with me. We got two seats in the front of the second balcony, just by the railing to the balcony below. We were on the right side of the arena, about halfway back, so we couldn't complain. Now, I knew this was the beginning of the biggest wait: sitting in the same spot from 1 in the afternoon to about 9 at night.
The main parts of the stage I liked (from viewing the pictures in my Live Killers album) were intact: the steps were lined with lights under Roger's drums, and middle of the main stage had a small plank stage that stuck out for Freddie to walk on, where the crowd could touch him but not too easily. Most of the instruments, and all of Roger's drum set, were covered in giant sheets of plastic. I'd never seen such big speakers; I had a flashback when I saw the black and white photo to the right because that's what they looked like with the house lights up. Throughout the afternoon, the lights in the arena would go out, then come back on... like we were being teased. Finally when it was about time for the opening band, the lights went off longer than usual and the band took the stage. The opening band was someone we had never heard of, and my mom and I both can't even remember who it was now (two people have e-mailed me saying it was a band called "Dakota"). I don't think they had any hits, and then apparently disappeared soon after. The crowd tolerated the first two or three songs. Then, every song ended with "Just one more song!" much to the audience's vocal dismay. I went on a trip to the bathroom, and they were still playing when I came back. Then they left. Ten minutes later, they came back and said "Just one more song!" and I think they played three. People were yelling, "We want Queen!" People were getting harsh to the point it was just uncomfortable even seeing the band on the stage. Everyone cheered when they left. The lights came back on. Another two hours. Just seeing them walk across the stage would have been enough for me, so at that age I really couldn't comprehend being in their presence for a whole two-hour concert. This wait was easier though because every second we knew the show could start. Seeing Queen still seemed like it was too good to be true, like some act of God would occur just before the show to prevent it. Then, the lights went out. There's no feeling like the wait in total darkness just before a Queen concert. It was 10 minutes of black and the loudest screaming I'd ever heard. I remember it was "scary" and so I think Brian might have also been playing the weeping guitar sound like the beginning of the We Will Rock You concert video. It was a good scary feeling though, like going up the first hill of a roller coaster. After several minutes of intense darkness and the crowd screaming, when I felt like my ears didn't have room for any more sound to enter (though I loved it), the even louder sound of thunder clapped across the arena with an incredibly blinding light. I could see everyone on the main floor have to turn completely around in unison toward the back of the arena because the lights were so bright. I kept trying to glance at the stage to see what was happening, but it was too bright to see anything... plus, in between the flashes, it was too dark to see anything. It was sort of an unnerving state, being totally blinded in that big of a place with that many people, and coming to the realizaton that it would be unthinkable to actually move around and that we were basically helpless. I was holding my mom's hand. Queen had the whole crowd paralyzed in their tracks before the show even began.
I'm not sure if the lights all rose up like in the We Will Rock You video or not (since we couldn't see), or if they were already raised because of the opening band. Eventually the thunder and noise turned to music. Finally, through my wincing, Freddie Mercury was suddenly in front of my own little eyes on the front extended stage in all the smoke. I'd never even seen a celebrity in person before, much less my idol at the time. I didn't think they would open with the fast version of "We Will Rock You" for some reason, since that's at the beginning of the Live Killers album and I thought they would want to do something different, but was surprised that they opened with a non-Queen song: "Jailhouse Rock". The stage looked similar to that in the We Will Rock You concert video, with the smaller panels of lights replacing the single giant panel from previous tours; however, I'm certain there was at least another entire, higher level of moving lights (not only from seeing them at the concert, but also looking at the pictures for years afterwards). The lights in the We Will Rock You video seem extremely cut-back. Instead of one row of panels of lights across the back of the stage, the panels were all over the place and the ones above the band moved straight up and down on poles and tilted back and forth. There were also little men somehow sitting amongst the panels who manually operated at least a dozen spotlights, and more guys doing this from a small section hanging down from the ceiling at the middle of the arena. Since the spotlights were directed from the top of the arena, there wasn't a big bulky spotlight booth in the middle of the main floor taking up space, and the audio booth was placed along the right side of the arena (down not to far from us) so it wasn't in anyone's way. In the darkness between a lot of the songs, flashlights darted around the stage... we couldn't figure out if it was the band or engineers setting things up. Thankfully, no one came out on stage before the show to announce the band (I've always thought this is really cheesy). Freddie had on those red leather pants with the blue knee-pads... and, unfortunately, that ugly mustache! "What do you think about my new mustache?" Freddie asked. (Mixed applause.) "Some people don't like it, but I just say 'fu** 'em.'" (Crowd goes wild.). Freddie drank some water, then tossed the rest out onto the crowd along with his cup. He tossed his tambourine out later, and I couldn't imagine what it would actually be like to touch it. Freddie also had that long silver microphone stand that he always danced around with in the videos. He was running all over the place; one second he was on the plank at our side of the arena, the next at the other side. The three high school girls who rode up with us were excited because when he went to the end of one of the planks he ended up level and close to them in the balcony (but upset because, had one not been on crutches, they would have stayed on the main floor where Freddie tossed his tambourine!). Once or twice I remember looking into the middle of the arena and some kind of explosion occurred in mid-air (apparently launched from the lighting duct at the top of the arena). There weren't that many lighters in the audience, but instead everyone was using those green glow-sticks that come out around Halloween (I think these were new at the time). The audience kept throwing their green glow sticks up on the stage until at times it was covered, and more than once Brian kicked off some back into the audience (and I think he might have been getting upset but I'm not sure!).
There were numerous parts of the show I knew had to be there... and they all were. The first was the "scary" sound effects and section of "Get Down, Make Love", where Queen showed off their lights. (At that age, I thought the erotic sound effects were simply supposed to represent the monster breaking-in on the cover of News of the World). Smoke shrouded the band, as the panels of lights took over and moved around to the audience's ooohs and aaahs. My mom and I were trying to figure out what was on Roger's bass drum, since it didn't look like an album cover; it turned out to be the white "face" design, also in the We Will Rock You video. Back then, concerts didn't have big video screens, so we just had to use the binoculars that we'd brought. Some spotlights were gathering on Freddie and Brian as they went to sit on two stools toward the right of the stage, and my mom got excited because we knew "Love of My Life" was coming. Freddie announced, "This is our first time in Omaha... " as the song started, and got the crowd to sing along like on the Live Killers album. Meanwhile, I had become a source of info for those around who wanted to know what the songs were; every time a new song would start, people would ask me what it was! I really don't know if anyone has ever actually been able to appreciate a concert as much as I did that night: I was only 7, but had every album except the first two, and knew every song they played except maybe two or three. But what's interesting is how fans often wish they could experience how a "classic" band was 20 years prior... and this is strangely how I felt I was experiencing the show, because at my age it seemed like Queen had been around 20 years. There were parts of the show, including the stage design, that were "legendary" to me, but were only 2-3 years old in reality. Now, 20 years later, they're legendary to everyone else. Periodically, the guy next to me changed the tape in his "hidden" tape recorder. We knew the show was close to the end when "Bohemian Rhapsody" began. Everyone clapped to the pre-recorded opera section, and as the Live Killers liner notes say: "The audience and the lights take care of the rest." The crowd went nuts when Roger hit the famous gong at the end.
I think there were two or three more songs, and then everything went black for about 10 minutes. Could it be that they were actually not going to play the standard "We Will Rock You/We Are the Champions/God Save the Queen" closing? The house lights may have even come on for awhile, then went back off. A few people were starting to leave, and I kept telling my mom that they had to end the concert that way, because that's the only way a Queen concert ends... but then even I was having doubts. Finally, the yellow lights around the gong all turned on, pointing directly on Roger, who started the drums of "We Will Rock You" and everyone stomped their feet and clapped. Of course "We Are the Champions" was next, and Freddie shook some of the hands flailing in front of the stage while singing it. I remember there was one hand jumping up and down that never got shook! Freddie bent his neck way back when he sang "... of the world!" at the very end like I knew he was supposed to from videos on TV, and we hoped for another song but knew that was probably going to be it. A grand finale of Queen's famous pyrotechnics began shooting everywhere from the stage, the lights were all moving around, and everyone was jumping all over in the aisles. Soon the pre-recorded Night at the Opera version of "God Save the Queen" did begin playing...but, nobody really sang to it since this is America and no one knows the words! At this point, I tried to make sure I was truly fathoming what it was like to actually see the band members in front of me since they'd be gone soon. Freddie was still dancing around and danced out a little door behind the drums, and the rest of the band followed one-by-one, with John being last as he waved to everybody one last time. The lights flickered and moved some more to the rest of the song, slowly going dark along with the rest of the arena, with the final rise of the crowd's applause. Perfect. Except for that damn mustache. We walked down what seemed like endless spiraling stairs on the way out...extremely slowly this time. My ears had that weird "ringing" feeling like everyone said I'd have, but that I'd never experienced before. Spotlights were panning the sky outside. We said goodbye to the couple we'd been with during the show. A guy in his late 20s started talking to us on the long way out; he laughed and told me how he'd also had to argue with his mom who said Queen would never come to Omaha. My mom asked him if he thought I'd even remember the whole thing since I was so little. He looked down at me, saw my grin from ear-to-ear, and said, "He'll never forget this."” - Jim

9 Taylor Swift Moments That Didn’t Fit in Our Cover Story
By: Brian Hiatt for The Rolling Stone Magazine Date: September 30th 2019
Tumblr media
Taylor Swift had a lot to say in our recent cover story (on newsstands now), tracing her eventful path to Lover, her political views and many other topics in a lengthy, revealing interview. There was even more to the caffeine-fueled conversation, which Swift made it through on four hours of sleep after staying up greeting fans at her parents’ Nashville house. Here are some highlights:
On releasing “The Archer” after “Me” and “You Need to Calm Down”: That’s sort of the world in which a lot of the album lives. It’s weird, because in pop, I love hooks and bop and catchy melodies so much. And I also love writing the songs you need to ugly cry to. So I really enjoy “You Need to Calm Down” and the brattiness of “damn, it’s 7 a.m.,” and then the next song being like, this is how I feel about myself in my lowest moments… It was unexpected when people liked “The Archer” seemingly sort of unanimously, I was like, What? This doesn’t happen to me. This almost feels like foreign and strange.
On Lover‘s place in her catalog: Reputation was so far from what I usually do. And Lover feels like a return to the fundamental songwriting pillars that I usually build my house on. It’s really honest; it’s not me playing a character. It’s really just how I feel, undistilled. And there are a lot of very personal admissions in it. And also, I love a metaphor. I love building on the metaphor for a very long time. You know, the whole of Reputation was just a metaphor, but this is a very personal record. So that’s been really fun.
Writing the title track of Lover: I was sitting up at the piano up in my loft, and I had the chorus. It just kind of happened immediately. It was one of those ones that I wrote very very, very quickly. And I was working out the cadence of the first verse and it just sort of fell together. But then I took some time to write the bridge because I wanted to really level up with that bridge. That one would for me be less of a ranting bridge and more of a story-time fable type bridge. Sometimes I like to imagine a bridge as like a sort of fairy-tale lullaby fable expanding upon a song that has been not as detailed until that point. “Can I go where you go/ Can we always be this close forever and ever”  is less detail then when you go to the bridge and you realize like, oh, it just got really personal in the bridge. It expands on it all.
Writing “Paper Rings” We just were messing around, just wanting to make something really, really fun. And I had all these lyrics about all these funny memories of how something can start off in a really quirky way and surprise you. Like how it says, “I hate accidents, except when we went from friends to this.” So I wanted to show the quirkiness of a relationship and how it’s like, wow, this really fell together in really interesting, funny, playful, cute pieces. And now it’s something we’re both really stoked happened exactly the way it did.
On her creative burst circa 2016: I was writing constantly. And a lot of the things I was writing ended up being songs for Reputation. So after 1989, I didn’t write really anything. After I made 1989 and put it out, did all the promo stuff, went on tour... The Grammys happen, which is like this unbelievable blitz of excitement, followed by me going, “Oh my god, what am I going to make next?” I had no idea what to make next, because I was so proud. 1989 — I’m still so, so deeply proud of that record. But I was like, where do we go from here? I have no idea what comes after this. And so, when my life took a very dramatic shift, all of a sudden I knew what to make next — which is a strange dichotomy to feel like, ‘whoa, this is all really weird, twisted, dark and dramatic, but I can’t stop writing.’
I think I would have made Reputation whether or not I actually put out the album or ever made another album again. That album was a real process of catharsis, and I thought I experienced catharsis before, but I’d never had until that album, because it was creating this strange defense mechanism. And, I’d never really done that in that exact way before. The only way I’d done it in the past, was with “Blank Space,” which I wrote specifically about criticisms I had received for supposedly dating too many people in my twenties. I took that template of, OK, this is what you’re all saying about me. Let me just write from this character for a second.
On the Reputation Tour: That’s just such a fun album, Reputation. I’m so proud of how that whole process was because I’d never had an album that made more sense to people after they came to the concert. Literally people would be like, “I came to the show and now I completely love the record.” Now I get the record. Whereas before with 1989, I felt like it was such a great listen but it was harder to portray it live because when you when you see it live, you’re like, “Oh, I love that song and now she’s performing it live.” But it never had songs that came alive live.
With Reputation, I wanted to keep my head down, not say anything, but work harder than I ever worked. It was really motivational for me to just have the stadium tour to prepare for and prove myself almost. My career was in a weird spot, but still have that kind of ignite something in you to work harder, to practice longer, to think of bigger, better concepts for the live show. I was thinking, if anything can pull me out of this weird disillusionment I have with the way that things have gone in my career that I was feeling back then, I knew it would be playing live. If I could be proud of the live show and if I could feel that connection with fans, that would remind me of why I love this.
On the challenges of choreography: It’s really hard for me to memorize choreography. Dancers keep count, but I can’t memorize choreography that way. So I have to assign movement to an exact lyric. Everything in my brain has to be assigned to a lyric. Because I have to learn choreography in a way that reverts back to songwriting. My vibe is I have to rehearse so, so many times for so long that I can do the choreography without thinking about it. Because when I’m thinking about choreography, my face says it. You can see it in my eyes. There’s a fear and, like, a deadness to my eyes if I’m trying to remember choreography.
On being less caught up in chart battles: I’m just a little more chill about stuff like that now. Obviously, you want to do well, and you want to do things that people like and you want people not to make fun of you for that. A lot of the pressure that I feel in my career is just the fact that I’m compared to everything I’ve ever accomplished in the past and also new artists. I can’t live in that pressure cooker. Charts — I truly, truly do not understand how they work anymore. My friend Ed [Sheeran] is such a chart monger. He’s obsessed with how it works and the math of it. I have no idea what goes on with the math with it now, it used to be so easy. I don’t even get how, people get a big release week, because they sold T-shirts, or they sold concert tickets with their albums. It’s just very confusing. But I was stoked about the “ME!” music video getting that many YouTube views. I was like, well, that’s like, that’s something to write home about.
On the longevity of songs: I think it often takes a lot of time for people to understand how they feel about music. And I know that now because there’s a song on Red called “All Too Well” that I’m really, really proud of, and it took people about three years to note that that was one of the best songs. I didn’t see that starting to pop up when people would talk about my music until about two or three years after the album had its moment. So one thing that’s actually really comforting about music — and I know that people consume at a crazy speed now — but I think that things settle for people after a long period of time. My music kind of assigns itself to maybe a moment in somebody’s life; that’s the way that my fans usually describe it. So when you’re dealing in memory curation in a way, if they have memories that include one of my songs, they go and they live their lives and those memories become further in the past and more nostalgic to them, and the music becomes more important to them.

Halo
A/N Today the Metric Universe has a guest artist: Depeche Mode!  This story takes place soon after Help! I’m Alive, which is going to require some creative liberties on my part.  Depeche Mode did play London Stadium to a sold-out crowd (one of eight bands to ever do so), but in June 2017, not September.
All other parts of the Metric Universe are available on my AO3 page.
The song by Depeche Mode that inspired the title is here. Teenage Michelle listed to Violator on repeat, just like Claire and Jamie.
September 21, 2017, Spitalfields, England
Jamie’s patrol boots felt like concrete weights about his feet as he plodded down the hallway towards his flat.  Most days, he loved his job.  It filled a psychic need to contribute meaningfully to society and provided a loose camaraderie that acted as a substitute family.  Physically and mentally taxing, on a bad day like today, it left him feeling wrung out and far older than his twenty-seven years.  All that kept him moving was force of habit and the promise of a glass of whisky, a long shower and a comfortable bed.
A steady thump of bass throbbed from behind his door.  Frowning, he fit the key in the lock and walked into a wall of sound.  Claire was nowhere to be seen, but her iPhone sat on the coffee table, wirelessly connected to the tele’s surround sound system.  He tapped the screen once and lowered the volume significantly.
The sudden lull drew his roommate from the kitchen, where she’d evidently been cleaning.  She was wearing a tattered pair of jogging pants, a plain white tshirt and rubber gloves.  Corkscrews of sweaty hair stuck to her temples.
“Jamie, hi.  Sorry, I didn’t hear you come in.”
“Understandable.   Depeche Mode, Sassenach?”
Her lips curled in a shape he knew was supposed to be a grin.  Something was missing, however.  A spark, a hint of magic, the ineffable quality he associated with Claire.
“Are ye alright, Claire?  Ye seem... I dinna ken, but not yerself,” he inquired as he opened the liquor cabinet.  Raising a nearly full bottle of Glenfiddich in silent query, he set about pouring two healthy glasses.  When they met back at the sofa, Claire had removed her cleaning attire and tried to arrange her hair in a slightly neater bun.
“I could ask the same of you,” she countered.  “You look done in.  Rough day?  Cheers,” she added, raising the amber liquid.
“Slainte,” he replied, letting the spicy heat coat his throat and settle like an ember in his belly.
“Do you ever...” Claire began before subsiding into silence.
“Do I ever what?” he urged.
“Some days I just feel as though no matter what I do, the cosmic ledger is not going to balance, you know?  That there isn’t enough good in me to balance out all the bad.”
He forced himself to mutely accept her statement, no matter how much he wanted to dispute it.  She was exposing a chink in her formidable armour.  His job was to listen, not debate.  He couldn’t help wanting to peer past the small opening to the burning core within, though.
“I loved this album as a lad,” he offered instead.  “Dark an’ moody an’ all about sex. My Mam hated Personal Jesus, complained twas blasphemous.”
Claire chuckled softly.  She was looking at a point over his shoulder, visibly straining to reach some buried emotion.
“When things got horrific at Camp Bastion, the surgeons would listen to music, ridiculously loud music.  Artillery fire, evac choppers, the wails of wounded soldiers, it drowned them all out.  Or at least that was the idea.  The camp only had an old portable stereo on its last legs, held together with suture wire.  By the end of my year, Violator was the only tape that fucking thing hadn’t eaten.  This is the soundtrack of the worst moments of my life.”
He could have asked why she would want to relive that personal hell, but he already knew the answer.  It was the same reason he still rushed into a burning building, even as the memory of his accident played havoc with his PTSD.  Survival was an act of redemption.  You fought your demons because if you didn’t, the demons had already won.
They sat beside each other on the sofa listening to the melancholy songs on repeat.  When her glass was empty, Jamie poured another two fingers unprompted.  He didn’t ask what happened during her hospital shift to send her thoughts back to Afghanistan.  He could guess.   She didn’t ask why his uniform smelled of ashes and burnt flesh.  She could guess.   Sometimes the hurt didn’t need to be articulated.  Sometimes silent complicity was the only cure.
***
October 20, 2017, London Stadium, England
She’d almost missed the envelope entirely.   Bleary eyed after an overnight shift, her plan was to sleep through the rest of the day and wake up tomorrow in her thirties.  Checking the surface of her desk for mail out of habit on her way to the shower, Jamie’s bold scrawl, black across ivory paper, caught her eye.
Happy Birthday, Claire.
Her finger shook as she unsealed the feather-light rectangle.  A ticket stub was the only content.  Her hand covered her mouth as she drew in a quivering lungful of air.  She had no idea how he even knew it was her birthday, never mind how he happened upon the perfect gift.
After a rejuvenating nap, shower and thirty minutes trying on every outfit in her wardrobe, she now stood in an endless security lineup in the hulking shadow of London Stadium.  A soft brush against her bare shoulder and a hint of his familiar scent were the cues that sent her heart beating against her ribs.  She looked up into the sunrise of his warmest smile.
“G’d evenin’, Sassenach,” he greeted.  “Fancy meetin’ ye here.”
She shook her head in mock exasperation.
“Really, Jamie.  I can’t believe you.  How ever did you even get tickets?  It’s been sold out for months.”
“Och, twas nothin’.  The sister of one of the lads on my engine works fer their record label,” he demurred, running a hand through his curls.   She could see they were still damp.  He must have showered at the station and come straight from work.  The bright floodlights caught the blond tones of the stubble along his jaw.  She looked away, feeling a lurch in her stomach that had nothing to do with missing dinner.
They chatted easily as they slowly advanced through the metal detectors and into the colossal stadium.
“I’ve never been inside,” she remarked, craning her head upwards.  “It’s incredible, isn’t it?”
“Aye, tis.  This way, birthday girl.  We’re on the floor.”  Jamie extended a courtly arm and shepherded her into the steadily growing crowd.
At concerts in her youth, she always started near the stage but was gradually pushed backwards by larger, rowdier fans.  It took several songs for her to realize why that wasn’t happening.  Jamie had planted himself directly behind her and was acting like a breakwater, parting the crowd with his tall, broad form before they could push up against her.   She felt something vigilant loosen along her spine.  Before long, she was dancing and singing along, completely lost in the moment.
Looking up over her shoulder at his proud, chiseled features as they were washed in multi-hued lights, she caught his eye and smiled.  He bent close, his warm breath feathering her hair as he whisper-yelled into her ear.
“Happy birthday, Sassenach.”
Impulsively, she stood on tiptoe and placed a careful kiss near the corner of his mouth.  Lying in bed that night with the echo of the music still ringing in her ears, it was the memory of his shyly delighted grin that lit her mind like a thousand stars.

Part one
Tumblr media
Pairing: Jimin x Reader
Warnings: y/n does a big fan No-no (please never invade BTS’s personal space 😒) ; swearing ; (that’s all for this chapter)
Genre: idol!au, witches/wizards!au, royalty!au, (slightly one sided?soulmate!au...that’s all I can say without spoiling later chapters) Fluff, Angst, future smut.
Summary: Jimin has waited quite a lifetime to find his soulmate. He didn’t expect to find her at one of her concerts, and certainly didn’t expect her to be such a big Jungkook fan.
(Thank you @heyitsayjayy for being such an amazing beta reader and friend 😭❤️ also another big thank you to @heyitsayjayy and @kingsuckjin for helping me brainstorm ideas for this)
Tumblr media
—————————————
These tickets had been a bitch to get.  You booked them the first day they went on sale, and even then were still nervous they’d be sold out by the time you got to the confirmation page.
BTS performing in your city wasn’t something you’d ever expected and you jumped at the chance to see them the moment you could.
You felt giddy excitement as you put on your Kookie headband. Smoothing out the wrinkles on your matching Kookie T-shirt.  The day was finally here.  Your best friend was dressed up in what seemed like every single piece of Koya attire that she owned.
“When I went to Seoul for their concert last year Namjoon blew a kiss my way!” She jumped up and down holding her heart at the memory.
“I’m sure he did A” You chuckled, rolling your eyes at how she’d think that was the case in a crowd of thousands.
--------------
Once you got to the stadium and settled in your seats you felt the anticipation start to grow even more.  All the other fans held army bombs similar to the one gripped in your own hand, and were settling down while talking about their bias and which song they were most excited for.
Falling in suit A turns to you and asks, “So which song are you looking forward to the most?” clapping her hands together.
“Ummm... Probably Baepsae?” You shrugged.
“Of course you’d say that you hoe” she laughs with a wide grin, nudging your side with her elbow.
“What can I say.  That dance gets me going.” you wink returning her smile.
“I thought you’d say Euphoria though” she admitted while taking off her yellow jean jacket and placing it on the back of the seat.
Yes, that probably was the other one you were looking forward to the most.  Jungkook had been your bias since day one and you’d never been swayed.  You did love all the members in the group, but Jungkook...everything about him screamed out to you in a way none of the others did. Almost every army could relate that they felt the same with a certain member.
A’s was obviously Namjoon, though she’d switched last year from being a Taehyung bias, she’d always tell you that she’s loyal to Namjoon to the end.
The lights dimmed and your stomach dropped.  This is it, the moment you've been waiting for. You heard the first chord of Dionysus and fell into a trance watching BTS perform.  Their dance moves were all on point, and their energy was like nothing you’d ever seen.  You were sure this is how every concert must feel, but being there in person was a whole different experience than watching it from your tablet screen.  You could feel the bass beat in sync with your heart as your favorite KPOP idols transitioned from song to song.
The group took a short intermission to spend time talking to the fans and thanking everyone for being at the concert.
Your friend A turned to you and motioned for you to move close to her.
“I have a dare for you,” She smirked.
It was a typical  ‘A’ move to dare you to do crazy tasks. She was known for doing  this with a lot of people.  Her family was loaded with cash, and it was a hobby of hers to use it to make her friends do things that they might not normally do without the incentive of a bigger wallet.  You in particular took her up on this the most being the least well off of your friend group.  You had gotten your bills paid off  a few times due to moments like this.
In fact, it was how you were able to afford these concert tickets.
“Ahhh what now A?” you shook your head, preparing yourself for whatever strange task she’d come up with for you to do this time.
“So.” she started, then turned to make sure you were watching her.  “I put your name and phone number on this piece of paper.  I dare you to go sneak into the dressing room and leave this for Jungkook.”
Your jaw dropped open so wide you thought it’d hit the floor.
“A!! I’ll get kicked out of the concert, maybe even arrested.  I’m not a sasaeng!!” You screeched at her a little too loud.  Luckily it was drowned out by cheering fans surrounding you.
“Would you for this much?” She flashed two big bills in front of your face.
You pondered for a moment and then shook your head “A. No. I can’t do this one”
“Hmmm” she gave another smirk while pulling out more from her purse.  “For this much, and I bail you out of jail if you get arrested?” now six big bills were being waved in front of you.
That was almost two whole months rent...No matter how scared you were of getting caught you knew you’d regret passing it up.
“Now?” You grumbled snatching the paper out of her hand.
“As soon as they start the next group song!”
“Aw, A.  I don’t wanna miss anything though...” you sighed.
“Deals a deal!” She said waving the money around.
You playfully punched her in the shoulder and shook your head.
When the group came out to perform Anpanman you slid from your seat and started to make your way around the area you’d scoped out that would most likely lead back to the dressing rooms.
Most all of the security was focused just on BTS performing, getting absorbed in the fun they were having bouncing on all of the inflatable slides and bouncy castles filling up the stage.
You found a moment where no eyes were your way and quickly slipped past.
Your heart was beating so quickly in fear of getting caught, you felt your palms sweating around the note you were clutching.  You speed walked down hallways looking for the dressing room.  A lucky guess led to the first door you opened being the right one.  A large white door with the members names on it may have been a big help with your luck...
You quickly shut the door behind you and took a deep breath.
“I can't believe I’m doing this” you whispered to yourself as you searched for a place to set the note for Jungkook.
You recognized a light pink jacket that he had just worn earlier on stage hanging on a rack and started to push the other members clothing out of the way to get you better access to slip the note in his pocket.  Pulling out your phone to snap a picture for proof.  A always asked for proof or no money.
“Who let you in here!”  A stern and surprised voice yelled out from behind you.
You felt your heart freeze up and your breath hitched in your throat.  You knew that voice.  It was your favorite voice.  Why did you do this?!  You felt your face growing hot with embarrassment as you turned around and tried to explain yourself.
Jungkook was glaring at you with the coldest gaze you’d ever seen from him.  His fists were balled up and he was shaking his head ever so slightly.  His long dark hair that fell into his eyes along with the white t-shirt he was wearing was sweaty and wet, he’d obviously just given it his all even just running around having fun on stage.
“You have some nerve” He growled out and stomped over to you, grabbing your upper arm harshley.
“J-Jungkook, oh my god.  It was a dare I’m so sor-” You whimpered out, but he cut you off before you could finish your apology.
“God damn security can’t keep out sasaengs like you for shit.  You’re the lowest scum ever you know that?” He stopped and his dark eyes seemed to bore into your soul.  He grabbed your hand that had the note clenched tightly in your fingers and pried it open, ripping the paper from your grasp and waving it in front of your face.  “You really think I’d ever go out with you? Especially when you invaded our privacy like this.  How delusional can you be!” He shouted.
You felt tears start to well up in your eyes and your body was shaking.  This was not worth A’s money.  Your heart was breaking at Jungkook’s harsh words.  The voice that you listened to to feel safe and whole on your bad nights was insulting you, and he was right.  What you’d just done was crossing a line you knew you shouldn't have.  You were embarrassed and ashamed.
“Jungkook what's going on?” Namjoon’s voice sounded out from the doorway, he stood tall next to Jin and another member you couldn’t see was standing behind the two of them.
You took that moment to quickly push past Namjoon and run out of the room, your tears causing your vision to be so blurry that you tripped and fell on the cold black linoleum of the hallway.
With your palms now stinging you hurried to push yourself up and run away before any of the other men you idolized and looked up to could add to the embarrassment you were feeling.
“WAIT!” a voice yelled out.  It sounded like Jimin.  You didn’t wait, you ran as fast as you could out of the backstage area, and then out of the stadium.
--------------------------------------------------------
Jimin couldn’t believe what he had seen.  He was half convinced it was just a dream.  If it was, it wouldn’t be the first time he’d dreamed of meeting her.  His soulmate, the one who he would pledge his life to. To live for, die for, kill for.  He’d been told by Jin that It’d hit like an electric shock to the chest, then it would fade into the most pleasant feeling he’d ever feel in his life, there’d be no missing it or mistaking it.
When he saw you stumbling out of the dressing room the feeling hit him just like that.  Electricity, and then a warm rush of emotion like nothing he’d ever felt.  It felt like you’d just washed away every bad emotion he’d ever felt in his life just by being there, by existing.
You had just fallen and gotten up, now you were running away and sobbing loudly.  The pleasant feeling faded and instead he felt his heart breaking, a heavy pressure on his chest like he was being crushed.
“WAIT!” He screamed after you, wanting you to turn around and run to his arms.  He wanted to hold you close and tightly, he wanted to make you feel better, wipe away your tears and tell you everything would be okay.  Because he was here now for you.
But it was too late, you were already around the corner.
Jimin stood in shock and the other members looked at him with perplexed expressions.
“What the hell was that?” Taehyung who had just walked up asked to the group as they walked in.  Namjoon ushered the silent and stiff Jimin over to the couch and put a hand on either side of his shoulders as he sat him down.  He kneeled to eye level with him and the rest of the members flocked over, looking concerned.
“Jimin-ah?” Yoongi worriedly choked out, he went sat on one side of Jimin and wrapped an arm around him pulling his head into his chest.
“Hey what's wrong?” He started to run his fingers through Jimin’s hair.
“I’m going to go get him water!” Hoseok announced, his feet quickly carrying him over to the mini fridge in the corner of the room.
“I-It’s that girl” Jimin stuttered out.
Jungkook instantly tensed up.
“Had you seen her before? Had she been following you?” His lips pursed angrily, “You have to tell us those things! Especially me!”
Jimin’s plump lower lip stuck out in a pout.
“Hey hey,” Jungkook crouched down, Namjoon moved out of the way so Jungkook could meet Jimin’s eyes. “I’m not yelling at you.  I’m not mad at you.  It’s my job to keep you safe, always.” He spoke softly brining a hand to brush across Jimin’s cheek.
“It’s not that,” he sighed. “It was her.  She’s her,”
All the eyes in the room squinted almost at the same time, confused and worried.
“You don’t mean she’s your…” Jin spoke slowly.
“That's exactly what I mean! And she's gone! I lost her,” Jimin snapped, sitting up and away from Yoongi.
The men all started muttering to each other, trying to figure out how to deal with this situation.
“She was breaking in here to leave me her number.  How could that be her?” Jungkook spat out shaking his head quickly.
“That's what she was doing?” Jimin's eyes widened and he felt a slight sting in his eyes start to bring on tears at that thought.  She was wearing a Kookie headband and shirt…
Could his soulmate really be a sasaeng obsessed with Jungkook? No.  It couldn’t be.  There must be an explanation.
“I don’t care.” Jimin spoke in a pout.  “Its her.  And I’ve lost her.”
Jungkook sighed and fidgeted with the note he’d taken off of you that was in his pocket, debating on whether or not he should let Jimin know.
“We’ll find her,” Jin spoke assuringly.  “Right?” he turned to all the other men.
“If we don’t... all of this was for nothing I suppose, so yeah.  Of course” Namjoon nodded.
Yoongi pulled Jimin back into a tight hug and kissed the top of his head.  “She’s out there somewhere, and you know that now.  You’re closer than you’ve ever been.  It’s not the end.  Keep hope alive.” he smiled as he nuzzled his head against Jimin.
“I…” Jungkook finally spoke up. “I think I might have a way to find her.” he sighed, still not sure if he was doing the right thing by letting the group in on the information he’d acquired.
“What?” Jimin was quickly on his feet and standing over Jungkook who stood and pulled the note out of his pocket.
“It’s her number...she was leaving it for me and I grabbed it from her.” he admitted.
Jimin couldn’t deny that a strong pang of jealousy ran over him, yet he was willing to ignore it in the face of such wonderful news.
He grabbed the note from Jungkook, turning the note over in his fingers with a bright smile on his face.
“I could kiss you!” Jimin shouted out joyfully.
“Save it for her,” Jungkook muttered running a hand through his hair.
Jimin hummed in agreement and pulled out his phone to put your number in.
“Woah hold up there!” Namjoon put his hand over Jimin's phone.  “Do you think it’s best to contact her right away? Shouldn’t you think this over first? Like how you are going to tell her, how much you want her to know…”
Jimin pulled his phone away from Namjoon.
“I appreciate the advice, advisor. But this is my soulmate.  I think I know what's best.” he said matter-of-factly.
Namjoon sighed, “It's no use with you” he let out a chuckle.
“I agree though Jimin, maybe you should take a second to-” Taehyung started.
“Sent!” Jimin spoke cheerfully.
A few groans sounded out among the group.
“He never listens to us,” Hoseok shook his head, handing Jimin the water bottle he’d been holding for him. “Drink up my prince.  This is the moment you’ve been waiting for, for over 1000 years.  Savor it.”

Ryuji Sakamoto(p5) X masculine!bigender!singer!reader
_____
"Yo! Futaba, Akira! want to come with me to a concert?"
Futaba glanced at him and teasingly said "And how are you going to pay for the three of us, Hmm?~" Akira nodded looking interested but confused.
"Oh shit, umm. Well my lover is in the band.. they said I can come in free with some friends if I wanted. Just gotta say my last name apparently. So ya in or not?"
Akira and Futaba looked at each other then at Ryuji. "Ohh~ someone has a girlfriend~" they said almost perfectly at the same time, like the creppy twin ghost girls in the film you'd rather not think about.
"What the hell! Sometimes you guys freak me the hell out!" Sakamoto said while feeling a shiver run down his back.
"They.. they're not my girlfriend. Now stop teasing me and answer my question, god dammit!"
"I don't like being in big crowds remember? Ugh! Uff. I'll go if Akira goes. What do you say Aki!"
"Hmm, sure.. I'll tell sojiro that I'll be out with some friends. Glad his letting me use the attic again. I really enjoy seeing my friends again." Akira said with a smirk.
"Yeah, dude! I'm glad that we can all hang out again. Tho Yusuke is pretty busy now a days."
"Mhm" Futaba and Akira nodded.
"So ya guys know. The concert is tomorrow. I'll text you guys the time and place." Ryuji Said taking out his phone and typing. "Alright they ya go!'
"Sounds good." Futaba nodded.
"Futaba. You hacked the website to see how many tickets where sold. Right?" Ryuji asked suspiciously.
"Hihi! You know me so well. Yeah I did. Man am I glad there won't be thousands of people. From what I see only 452 tickets were sold with us it'll be 455 people. They are a pretty new band. Right?" Futaba asked.
"Yeah they are. I'm glad you'll finally meet them. It'll be cool." Ryuji Said with a grin.
Akira yawned and said "see you tomorrow." Waving goodbye.
"I'm off too. See ya, Ryu!" Futaba Said while waving goodbye.
(Time skip)
___
At the train station. Akira waited for his friends. Looking at his phone, texting Ann to pass the time. A few minutes go by and Akira feels an arm around his shoulder and a "Did ya wait for us for long? Hopefully not! But we're finally here!"
Futaba smiled awkwardly. "I slept through my first alarm. Glad I put a second one just in case last night."
Akira nodded at both of them in acknowledgement. "Don't worry. I wasn't waiting to long. Now let's go." He said while walking towards the bus."
"Alright!" Ryuji Said excitedly.
___
(Time skip to there destination!)
Once the got out of the station and towards the streets, Futaba and Akira were surprised to see that a park Next to the stadium was so packed.
"Wait.." Sakura Futaba Said. "Is this consert you were talking about being held in that park?"
Ryuji laughed and shook his head. "Nah, the park is just used as free parking space the open stadium right next to it is were to consert is happening. Cool right!"
Futaba checked her phone nervously. "Shoot.. there's a lot more tickets sold then there were yesterday... Seems like about 987 people are going to be in there.. I feel a little nervous... That's way to many people.."
Akira put a hand on her shoulder and said. "You'll be fine. We're here with you and you've gotten much better at being in crowds now, then you were in the past and this will be fun. Alright?"
Futaba took a deep breath and nodded her head. "It'll be fun." She said as if trying to calm her nerves. Even though it was slowly but surely engulfing her with self doubt. She took in a deep breath in through her mouth and exhaled through her nose then nodded. "Ok! What are we waiting for! Let's go."
Ryuji smiled widely and shouted. "Hell yeah!"
___
At the entrance a tall man stood up right and said. "Tickets please."
Ryuji nervously stammered out. "I'm Uhh. Ryuji Sakamoto..."
The Man took of his glasses and took out his cellphone. Looking through it, He nodded and his blank face had a small smile. "I see. Your the guy. Nice to finally meet you in person. You look a lot like me when I was younger." He said with a hearty laugh.
"Oh? Are those two back there with you?" The smiling man ask after his laughter calmed down.
"Ah, yeah, (y/n) Said I could bring some friends." Ryuji Said while scratching the back of his neck awkwardly.
The man nodded and put his shades back on. "Very well. Go on in. I'm sure (y/n) while be happy to see you. The man said with a grin and a thumbs up.
Futaba tilted her head with a confused grin. "(Y/n)-san? Hmm? I'm interested in meeting them~" she said teasingly. Ryuji blushed slightly but shook his head. "Shh...Shut it..." Ryu said quietly.
Futaba grinned at Ryuji then looked at Akira in a way that Akira knew to well. She wanted him to join in to the teasing but the light shake of his head showed her that he wouldn't. "Boo. It was fun while it lasted. Oh well." Once in the stadium Futaba quieted down and stayed in back of Akira.
Akira walked to the front of the stadium and saw little people there a guard walk up to him and smiled like hi know him. "Ah, Ryuji-kun I see you made it to the concerts! (Y/n) told me you'd be here and you brought friends I'm sure my nephew will be ecstatic to meet more of the people in your life." The man said with a big smile
"Oh, shoot... I can't believe I forgot. Yoo. You were really awesome when we first met. (Y/n) Said your like a father to him. It's so cool to see ya again. Ryuji Said enthusiastically.
The man laughed warmly. "You're as enthusiastic and energetic as you were last time, kiddo. I'm glad to see that. You've really brightened up our lives." He said as he ruffled Ryuji's hair.
Ryuji face flushed "Thanks but I don't know about that." He said while rubbing the back of his neck.
"You don't give yourself enough credit, kid. Now go on the musics about to start. Enjoy yourselves!" The man said as he motioned them to the front.

Your p.o.v
You walked up with your band mates to the stage you looked around happily not thinking you'd get such a big crowd as your band was still quite unknown and underground. Once you finished scanning the back you looked at the front and your eyes meet with the ones of your boyfriend and with a huge grin on your face you winked at him.
--
"Alright everybody! Are you ready! I've been keeping this song for a bigger crowd and here you are! This song's called 'parents'." You looked at your friends aka bandmates and nodded to them, then you looked back to the crowd and started singing.
--
I was born in a messed up century
My favorite flavored sweets are raspberry amphetamines.
I bought a car, Beretta age sixteen,
I brush my teeth with bleach
'Cause I ain't got time for cavities.
My daddy put a gun to my head
Said if you kiss a boy, I'm gonna shoot you dead.
---
You sang the last part with emphasis, anger and sadness clear in your tone.
---
So I tied him up with gaffer tape and I locked him in a shed
Then I went out to the garden and I f*cked my best friend.
---
As you sang this phrase you grind and with more confidence in your voice.
---
'Cause my high hopes are getting low
Because these people are so old.
The way they think about it all.
If I tried, I would never know.
My high hopes are getting low.
But I know I'll never be alone
It's alright, we'll survive.
'Cause parents ain't always right
---
You nod to the beat, you feel these lyrics to your core. Sad, anger and hope for a better future.
___
Akira and Futaba where amazed by your voice and looked at Ryuji.
"His voice is good. Is he a friend of your lover? The girl on drums is really good too. Is she the lover you were talking about?" Futaba ask curious with a slight teasing tone.
Ryuji shook his head cheeks flushed. "Actually. The singer. Umm. They're my..."
Futaba and Akira looked at each other and grind. "Ohhh~ Ryuji has a boyfriend~"
"Shhh! Shut it guys, not so loud.." Ryuji was so much redder now. His expression was one of annoyence but the dark Scarlet blush on his face made it a lot less threatening.
Futaba and Akira chuckled finding they're friend's reaction quite cute.
___
Once the first song ended, y/n uncle went up to Ryuji with a smile. Y/n wanted you to be in front stage for this song. If you'd like you and your friends can come back stage. My nephew wanted to hear your thoughts on the song for your mouth. You're thoughts and opinions really matter to them.
Ryuji nodded at the man infront of him. Y/n is using they/them today right?
The man smiled at Ryu fondly. His going by either today, son.
"Ohh~ he called you his son~" Futaba Said with a giggle. "Oh? I've never known that one person can use they/them pronouns? I like that! But I also like she/her..." Then her eye grew wide with excitement. "I think I'll go by she/they from now on!"
Akira smiled at her. "As long as it makes you happy, I'm happy, sis."
She nodded happily to his response then loudly said. "Let's go back stage!"
With y/n uncle leading them to the backstage entrance. The got in with no problems.
___
You're p.o.v
Once you and your bandmates presented the next band they walked into the backstage lounge area.
The first person you saw was your uncle. You leapt into his arms and hugged him tight, smiling brightly. "Did you like it! I'm so happy to finally sing my completed song to you and Ryuji!"
Your uncle smiled back at you and nodded. "Of course I liked it. You always put so much personality in your songs. I know that they come from the heart."
You nod back at his response hugging him tighter before walking up to your boyfriend. You smirked at him and ask him.
"How'd you like the song, lover boy~" you said in a whisper next to his ear.
Ryuji's face flushed a soft shade of pink looking away while rubbing the back of his neck.
"It was really cool. I did hear this one before.. umm. Man.. stop looking at me like that... It's hard to concentrate.
Your grin became wider you look at the two behind your boyfriend. The red head looked amused by Ryu's reaction while the other looked curiously at the scene before them. I decided I would tease ryuji a bit. Walking closer to him I wrapped my arms around his bottom waist, putting a hand in his back pocket and leaned my head to the side. "What do you mean, baby?~ Why so shy all of a sudden?~" You let out a low chuckled as the pink on your boyfriend's cheeks got redder then a tomato. With that you said under your breath. "Cute" as you held him closer for a second then taking a step back.
You and ryuji heard a squeal and
looked at the two teens. The red head smiled widely. "You guys are so cute." Once she felt both you and ryu's eyes on her, she grabbed on to Akira's arm. "Don't stare at me like that..."
Akira look at you and said. "It's a pleasure meeting you. I'm glad to finally meet ryuji's lover. I'm pleased to see my friend so happy." Akira smiled and bowed.
Your cheeks turned a rosy pink at that and smiled. "I'm happy too. Ryuji has really brightened up my life. Even if he thinks I'm just trying to be cheesy, it's the truth. I really love and care for him." You say. "Oh! How rude of me. Let me introduce myself properly. "I'm (l/n) (f/n) it's a pleasure to meet friends of my dear ryuji."
Akira look surprised for a minute then smiled. "I apologized as well for not introducing myself earlier. I am Akira and this is" he lifts his arm a bit then continues "Futaba my adopted sister" she waves, the mischief in her eyes from earlier was replaced with shyness but slowly but surely her shyness was fading.
Ryuji smiled at the people around him. Happy to see his friends getting along with his lover.
Your bandmates tell you that you'll be going back on stage in 6 minutes you nod at them, thanking them for reminding you. You look at your uncle and he nods, you smile. Turning back to ryuji, you ask. "Hey. Can I go to your place after the concert's over, love?"
Ryuji nodded. "Sure. That be fu*king awesome.
At his response you let at a small laugh and kissed his lips softly. "I'll see you later, baby~"
All ryuji could do was nod, his cheeks still as red as ever.

Depreciation- Chapter 9: Reader Insert

Word count: 1715
-----
The trial date was not a pleasant one. The entire night before and the morning of, her stomach was turning violently, causing her to avoid eating any breakfast. She knew it wasn't good for her, but it couldn't be helped. If she threw up in court, she could be ejected, which is the last thing she needed. She called the real lawyer as soon as possible to make sure their connection was adequate.
This would be the hardest part for her. She needed to do everything he told her down to the tiniest details. WayV's lives hung in the balance. She hadn't been able to arrange a meeting with them before the events, so she would just have to hope they were prepared for the things to come. The last she'd heard, Henry had been revived, but he was still refusing to eat, only accepting a slight drink of water after basically being forced to ingest it. They had put him on an IV for a few hours, but he was still weak.
She only realized a few hours before the trial that she didn't have anything to wear. Going into her room, she noticed that most of the clothes Lucas had provided to her were jeans, sweatpants, and t-shirts. None of those were really quite appropriate for such a serious occasion. The women's wardrobe downstairs were sealed up, which left her with only one dress out and available for her to use... the blue one.
With a vile taste in her mouth, she pulled it on, looking at herself in the mirror as she recollected the last time she'd worn it. Thankfully, it had been cleaned since, but it still carried awful connotations. There was no choice, she had to suffer. Putting on sensible makeup and gathering her things, she made her way to the courtroom. When she arrived, there were only a few minutes left before the trial. This was her intention. While it may have paid off to be earlier, she knew she wouldn't be able to stomach it.
She was seated near the band at the front of the room, although she was meant to be active during the trial, so she didn't really have a chance to talk to them. She glanced over once, feeling all of their eyes sliding over her form, giving her the chance to see Kun mouth a slight, 'you'll be fine'. At least, that's what she saw. Before she knew it, opening statements were underway.
"Your honor," the lawyer from the discovery period stated boldly. She was already annoying Y/N, to the point where she had to clench her fists out of sight to keep from seeming stressed. "I intend to prove that these five men, as well as their late and hospitalized associates, are guilty of the charges against them. These include harassment, assault, battery, kidnapping, rape, murder, and human trafficking, as was read to them along with their rights upon their arrest." The judge nodded, accepting this as an adequate opening statement.
"You may call your first witness."
"We'd like to start by questioning Qian Kun." The questioning went on for what felt like an hour to Y/N. The prosecution methodically called up every remaining member of WayV, one by one running through the facts again and again. She was sure the jury had to be sick of hearing the same story by now, but it was evident she was looking for a loophole. The man in her bluetooth agreed as much. What she didn't expect, though, was the first witness after that.
"Next, I call Y/N (L/N) to the stand." Eyes widening, she heard the man in her ear whisper, objection.
       "Objection!"
"On what grounds?" The judge asked.
"The tribunal has proper objection when the trier of fact may be confused or misled by a lawyer serving as both advocate and witness. The opposing party has proper objection where the combination of roles may prejudice that party's rights in the litigation. A witness is required to testify on the basis of personal knowledge, while an advocate is expected to explain and comment on evidence given by others. It may not be clear whether a statement by an advocate-witness should be taken as proof or as an analysis of the proof."
Basically, what she was saying was that, by using her as a witness, the lawyer would be confusing the jury on which parts of her arguments were testimony, and which were legal advocacy. It was a valid argument, and she had already gained the permission to act as an advocate by the tribunal, (a fancy word for the court). Therefore, it was well within their rights to object.
"Objection sustained, for the time being." The judge agreed. "Let the record show that, should your testimony become integral to the case, the objection will be reevaluated." She nodded curtly in thanks.
Annoyed, but not giving up, the lawyer continued to go through witnesses. The next ones were women Y/N had never seen before in her life. There were a total of four, all of varying ages. She found it difficult to remember any of their names. As far as she picked up, the first two had been sold into slavery and escaped their masters, one had been supposedly attempted upon, but not caught, and the final claimed to have been raped by YangYang of all people.
"I would like to cross-examine the witnesses." Y/N stated as the trial continued. Speaking to the first girl, she kept her cool. She didn't have a choice in this moment but to follow every direction, take note of every answer and movement. She was starting to wish she had eaten. Still, now wasn't the time to think about this. There was a good- no, a near 100% chance at least one of these witnesses wouldn't hold up in court. She just had to figure out which one.
The first and second were the most difficult. With similar, yet vague stories about being picked up in seedy areas, thrown into a van, and suddenly being awoken under the direction of a new master, it was nearly impossible to confirm or deny their honesty. While they were under oath, words were easily brushed a side. Hell, WayV was doing it right now.
The fourth witness was where she started to get lucky. The man in her earbud told her to demand a medical examination in regards to the rape, and she almost immediately recanted her charges. This didn't look good for them, and the jury was swaying. The final, most pivotal testimony, though, was the third. This girl, around the age of 20 or so if she had to guess, had claimed to have almost been kidnapped at a WayV concert, but got away. Thankfully, she had someone on the outside able to pull her any details she wanted. This could be her ticket.
"Miss, can you tell me exactly what happened on the night in question?" Sniffling with a fair amount of dramatics, she pushed her faded green hair away from her face. She needed to get her roots redone, her makeup was a walking disaster, and her outfit screamed koreaboo. Not only that, but her little show was basically terrible.
"Yes... I went to go see WayV in Seoul because I am-" She paused, letting her eyelids flutter. "I was one of their biggest fans. At the end of the show, I went to go look around, because I wanted to experience it for as long as possible. I found the entrance to the back parking lot, and who did I find there but Xuxi himself!" The use of his name- especially one that wasn't his stage name- by this trash? It made her sick to her stomach. Still, she continued.
       "Go on?"
"He pushed me up against the stadium wall and asked me if I wanted to get on the tour bus with him. Of course I said yes, but when we got on, I noticed like, five other girls! Of course, he didn't like any of them as much as me, but it was super fishy, so I tried to leave. He grabbed me and told me that I couldn't go, so I jerked my arm away and ran for dear life!"
So much for being a great lawyer- the prosecution had really put this clown up here? As a serious witness? She became more confident as she saw the jury's faces fall and scrunch, evidently feeling the same way about this girls as she did. Now for the closer...
"Miss, I'll remind you that you're under oath. And in light of that, I'd like to put forth these facts: on the night in question, exactly twenty four minutes after the closing song, the entirety of WayV was escorted to the front foyer for a two-hour fansign, giving them a direct alibi for your timeframe backed by hundreds, if not thousands of witnesses." The judge's eyebrows raised as she waited for the witness' statement. When none came, the judge called the room's attention.
"Lying under oath is a federal crime that could be met with a probation, fine, or a prison sentence up to five years. You will be taken for further investigation, and your rights will be read to you." Y/N suppressed a smile as the girl was escorted through the main floor of the courtroom. She knew she should be professional, leave it at that, but she couldn't help it. Just before the girl exited through the side door, Y/N yelled,
"And keep Lucas's name out of your mouth!" With a slight murmur starting anew in the room, the judge slammed the gavel onto the desk.
"Order in my court! Miss Y/N, may I remind you that you are at risk of being held in contempt?"
"Yes, I apologize." She quickly muttered, already embarrassed by the action. As she said this, though, the other lawyer smirked, stepping up.
"Your honor, we'd like to speak to one more person, if that's alright."
"Of course, the trial may continue." Nodding the lady thanked her, spinning around to face the faces in the seats.
"The prosecution calls Wong Yuk-Hei to the stand."

It’s a kind of magic tour pt.1; Queen x reader
*Author’s note*
Hey guys wow been awhile since you guys got a Rock Angel update but I figure it’s time you all got an update, and good news, it’s A TWO PARTER!!!! Okay so here’s the deal with this chapter, it’s all one thing but I’ve chosen to break it up into 3 parts because this chapter is ALL about the It’s a Kind of Magic tour, the very last tour Queen did with Freddie.  So this first chapter is strictly the Wembley performance, the next chapter I will post up is the Budapest events, and the last one is the very last show Freddie did at Knebworth.
So in this part prepare for some fluffy feels, and LOVEY-DOVEY MUSH!!! Not really any hard warnings, except for the swearing or two. And for anyone interested in watching the concert to follow along are free to watch it on this link----> Concert here

*July 11th, 1986. Wembley Stadium*
It was the hottest tour that Queen had ever done.  In light of having just recorded some songs for a movie known as “Highlander” Queen came to the decision in calling their next tour the “It’s a Kind of Magic Tour”. A full on summer European tour filled with new surprises, new songs, and of course the partnership of the decade, for the Rock Angel was also in on the show as the supporting act.
So in reality it was really called Queen+Angel “It’s a Kind of Magic ‘86” tour.  Tickets were filling up and had sold out quicker than any tour in the past for both Queen and the Rock Angel.   One place in particular ran out faster than anywhere else, and that was Wembley Stadium, so the tour managers of both Queen and the Rock Angel worked out that they would do 2 nights performing at Wembley so that fans could get the chance to see them perform.
*My POV*
I was currently in my dressing room getting ready when I heard a knock at my door.
“Who is it?” soon peeking inside was the face of my loveable husband.
“Fanclub of the Rock Angel, party of two.” It was then Jack came in holding our baby girl in his arms. I smiled and turned towards them.
“Aww there’s my little girl. Ohh darling you’ve gotten bigger since I last saw you.” I cooed as I took my daughter in my arms and held her close.  I kissed her cheek repeatedly making her coo and laugh.
“So baby about tomorrow when do you want to head out for our dinner date?”
“Oh Jack I don’t know. I’m scheduled for a full rehearsal all day tomorrow, and then the concert. By then I don’t know if I’ll be up for anything.”
“Then why not just a simple room service dinner and a bottle of champagne. Then I could make you a bubble bath and we could—get in together and……”
“Jack you dirty man. Not in front of our daughter.”
“Ahh she doesn’t know what all that means, do you sweetie bell?” Jack cooed down at her as he took her back and held her once more.
“I swear you’re as bad as Roger and Jensen mixed into one.”
“So how long do you guys got till showtime?”
“About ten minutes. C’mon why don’t we go and try to find the guys?” I asked him.
“When did she last have her bottle?”
“I gave it to her on schedule right before we left the hotel. So she should be good.”
“And how about her nappie? Does she feel wet at all?”
“You know I can never get used to that word, why do you guys call it that here?”
“Because we just do. And why did you Americans have to change it to diapers? I swear it almost sounds like you’re saying diarrhea.”
“That is not what it sounds like at all! Those are completely different words.” Jack tried to defend himself and for all Americans in that manner.
“Whatever, but seriously does she feel wet?” Jack felt around and he said.
“Oh yep, it does feel a bit damp. Must’ve done it on our way here.”
“Okay, c’mere love-a-bug. Let’s change your nappie.” I placed her on my loveseat couch and took off her dress so that it wouldn’t get wrinkled.  Jack handed me the diaper bag and I took out the necessary things I needed.
Thank god for the Sensei-Veronica and her wise teachings about changing nappies.  Cause boy when it came to changing her nappie, Kelly sure could throw a tantrum.  She then began crying as I took off her diaper, her legs kicking in protest.
“No! No none of that now. We gotta get your wet nappie off of yah. Don’t want you to go smelling like pee all day do we? No I don’t think so.” She continued to fuss and kick her legs as I threw the soaked nappie away, applied the baby powder and medicine on her, before finally getting her into a fresh nappie and putting her dress back on.
“Aww see there’s our good girl, don’t that feel better?” Jack said as he picked up our girl while I grabbed my Red Special.  We then left my dressing room and went down the hall where I knew Freddie and Roger’s dressing rooms.
Already from down the hall I could hear Freddie’s vocal warmups.  Which made Kelly alert and her eyes widened as she reached out. I gasped and said as I took her.
“Who’s that? Who is that poppet?” I could even hear the faint echo of Roger’s vocalization and at that point she let out a “Bah” “Yeah that’s papa Roger and Uncle Freddie, shall we go say hello?” we then walked over to the dressing room but stayed hidden as to not ruin the surprise.
Freddie continued going up his scales in a scat like manner that he always did and that’s when I heard Roger go.
“Oooh!”
“Ohh-Ohh!” Freddie replied in a slightly higher octave.
“Ohhh!” Roger sung again before Freddie and him laughed.
“Well I see you guys are doing your little vocal competition as per usual.” I said as I came around with my family in tow.
“And I see you’ve brought the entire Kline clan with you.” Freddie sassed back at me.  I grinned and said as I adjusted Kelly.
“Hope you guys don’t mind your smallest fan coming today.”
“Of course not love, you know we love it when she comes to see us.” Roger said as he came around and took his goddaughter in his arms.  “Plus I thought that was her making all that fuss, for a moment I thought it was her mum.” I mockingly gaped at him.  A wide, gummy smile spread across Kelly’s face as her godfather played the helicopter game with her.
“Happy to see her again Rog?” Jack asked.
“Of course, last time I saw this adorable face was the around Christmas time. So it’s basically been seven months, and she was still such a tiny thing. Kiddos growing like a weed.”
“So how has parenthood treated you both?” Freddie asked.
“She’s a blessing. I mean there are a few nightly wakeups but other than that she’s good.”
“Although she’s still scared of the horses over at Jared’s place. Anytime we go near them, screams her head off like a banshee.”
“Aww poor baby, did the mean ole horsies scare you?” Roger cooed as he brought her close to him and bounced her up and down gently while rocking her soothingly.
“Well I thought I was hearing a baby earlier but I thought my ears were playing tricks on me.” We turned to see Brian coming out from the tuning room, holding an acoustic guitar in his hand.
“Yep. Our mini-angel came to see us.” Roger bragged as he bounced her once more.
“What do you say lovebug? Wanna go see Uncle Brian?” I said.
“No she doesn’t, she wants to stay with god-papa Roger, isn’t that right my little lovie?” he said as he softly tickled her tummy with just his index finger.
“Oh no you don’t get to dictate on who she stays with. She loves all of you guys equally.” I proclaimed as I took my daughter out of his arms and walked over to Brian and allowed him to hold her.  “Careful now Bri.”
“I know (y/n), I know this isn’t my first rodeo trust me.” He assured me as he held Kelly in his arms.  Out of all the guys she was always entranced with Brian (probably because of the hair).
Sometimes she would reach out to touch it, and it goes either one or two ways either she tugs it, or she just holds a strand of his curls in his hand.  The first few times she did tug at them, but then she relaxed and we told her not to pull it, but of course there’s the occasional pull and tug.
Luckily this time all she did was touch it and even stroke her hand down, almost like she was petting a dog.
“I swear Brian dear you’ve got that little girl wrapped around your finger, and I’m the one whose supposed to spoil her.” Freddie stated with a wave of his hand.
“It’s the hair what can I say?” Brian said as he handled Kelly very delicately and allowed her to take hold of his finger.
“So there’s no chance of you ever cutting it or even changing it, is there?” I asked.
“Not on your life my dear. Especially if this little one likes it, huh? Whatcha say Kelly?” she babbled and continued to grip onto Brian’s index finger.  She even started to nuzzle herself into his shoulder.  We all awed and that’s when I asked.
“So where’s Deacy? I’d figure he’d want to see his little niece.”
“He’s probably up backstage with his Deaklings as well as the rest of the Queen family.” Freddie replied as he stroked Kelly’s head softly.
“So everyone else is here?” asked Jack.
“Yep, Chrissie brought the kids, and Dominique brought Felix and baby Rory.” Brian replied.
“Well why don’t we head up there now, seems like we’ve got about seven minutes till showtime.” I said as I looked down at my watch.  We gathered up our stuff and walked out of our dressing rooms from the bottom of the stage and headed up outside towards the stage entrance.
For some reason security almost wouldn’t let Brian through because he didn’t have a pass. So I spoke for him in the light of mentioning you can’t have Queen without their guitarist (and I may or may not have threatened the guard to let him through cause Brian was still holding my baby and I wasn’t gonna be parted with her for another second).
As the kids reunited with their parents and the crew took the backstage pictures that they wanted to get.  I was sitting and watching as Jack stood beside Dominique as Kelly was entranced with baby Rory.  Even with being six months apart, Kelly and Rory got along very well.
I was even imagining that when those girls got older, they were gonna be more than just cousins to each other.  They would grow to be sisters.
“You doing okay love?”
“Yeah. Just—picturing what Rory and Kelly are gonna be like since they’re technically sisters by law.” I said with a soft smile as I turned towards my brother Deacy.
“Roger did luck out in making you the godmother. Seeing how you fit into the mother role so well with your own baby girl.”
“That or to just make it even since he’s Kelly godfather.”
“Or that too you’re probably right.” I hummed a soft chuckle before turning back. “You miss her when you go on tour, don’t you?”
“How could you possibly know that?”
“C’mon you’ve heard this time and time again sister dear. We know you too well. Plus I know firsthand how that feels. Remember I had my first child at around your age. So I know how hard it is for a first time parent to be away from their child for such a great lengths. But I have a feeling you’re feeling it much worse than what I did, cause after all I didn’t give birth to Robert.”
That finally got a laugh, a real laugh, out of me which made Deacy smile and he wrapped an arm around me as I said.
“I just—I don’t know how you guys do it every year. Every tour you all go on.”
“Having children puts things in a whole new perspective. Same thing with relationships.”
“I totally get your song now. The line ‘I’m happy at home’. It all makes sense now. Because did you know that I missed my daughter crawl for the first time ever?”
“Really? Kelly’s first crawl?”
“Yes. It happened during our show in Paris. Jensen and Jared came for a visit to our home in Napa, California and they were trying to get her to crawl. After hours of getting nowhere, when they had their backs turned, Jack came down from doing some laundry to see Kelly crawling across the floor. Of course poor baby ended up bonking into the couch but she crawled Deacy. And I missed it.”
“It’s hard missing those milestones. Believe me I would know. I missed Robert crawl for the Night at the Opera tour, during News of the World I missed Michael take his first steps. And my little girl Laura, she actually said her first word, and it was my name. Well title name, during the Hot Space tour. I was fortunate with Joshua but.... I can never take back the first experiences with Robert, my first child, or my only baby girl Laura.”
“Oh Deacy I—I can’t believe that. And here I am bitching about missing a simple crawl. Man I’m such a drama queen.”
“No you’re not. You’re just protective and loving mama bear, well mama lioness I should say. After all you had Kelly inside you for nine months.”
“Nine months and a week.” I corrected him.
“Oh yeah, that’s right.” We both softly laughed and he said as his hand came up and ruffled my hair a bit. “But there’s no doubt in my mind you’ll make it up to Kelly. And there will be plenty of milestones to come, because she’s gonna need someone strong to look up to, and I already know she has the best role model a kid could ever have.”
“When did you ever get so wise?” I asked him with a teary eyed glaze.
“Comes with the territory, and experience. You’ll get there one day.”
“Thank you brother mine, really this talk….it’s been the best relief I’ve had in a while. I don’t even think I could’ve talked about this with Roger or Brian.”
“I’m always here for you sister dear. And anytime you want to talk, I’m here for you.” He leaned his forehead against mine and I closed my eyes and drew in his strength.
After the whole family reunion; it was getting close to showtime.  We were escorted by our team towards the stage, all five of us pumped up on adrenaline.  Even though I wouldn’t go on till the guys started Under Pressure, I was still feeling the anxiety of going on stage.
“Good luck guys, I’ll see you all in a bit.” I told them.
“We’ll see you then darling.” Freddie said as he came up and kissed both my cheeks.
“You’re gonna kill it out there as always.”
“We try our best.” Brian said as he tuned his Red Special.  As the opening for ‘One Vision’ began echoing through the speakers and we could hear the audience clapping along and cheering I knew it was time. The guys got into position and I waited backstage from my spot on stage where I would enter and I heard the roar of the crowd as Queen finally made their appearance.
As always Freddie was extravagant on stage, a living legend and a God amongst men.  With songs like “One Vision”, “Tie your mother down”, and a surprise for both me and the audience two oldie but goodie songs of Queen, “In the Lap of the God (revisited)” and “Seven Seas of Rhye”, “Tie your Mother down” and “It’s A Kind Of Magic”.
During “A king of Magic”, giant balloons of the guys’ cartoon drawn selves from the album were floating and bouncing amongst the crowd and it was comical to see.  Once the song was over Freddie starting doing his vocal echoes with the crowd.  As usual they replied back to him with each vocalization that Freddie gave them.
If he held out a note, they did the same thing.  But I was noticing that his voice didn’t hold the same amount of power as it used to, even kinda cracking but he still powered through it.
“I can’t go any higher than that. Aye-Oh! Let’s go down. Aye-Oh!” Either it was just due to age or just due to the fact he’s been working his voice so hard, but it surprised me that Freddie couldn’t go higher than he just did, cause just a year ago he was able to.  But he still held a long “Aye-Oh” just like he did last year during Live Aid, which I admired. “Fuck you.” I grinned and shook my head.
“Ohh Fred you cheeky son of a bitch.” It was then Deacy began playing the bassline for ‘Under Pressure’. One of my roadies “Lucky” handed me my mic and he gave me a thumbs up and I mouthed a thank you.  I shook my jitters out as Freddie and Roger began the song.
*Roger and Freddie*
Pressure pushing down on me
Pressing down on you no man ask for
Under pressure that brings a building down
Splits a family in two
Puts people on streets
Um ba ba be
Um ba ba be
De day da
Ee day da that's okay
*Freddie (Roger)*
It's the terror of knowing
What the world is about
Watching some good friends
Scream
Let me out (Let me out!)
Pray tomorrow gets me higher
Pressure on people
People on streets
Day day de mm hm
Da da da ba ba
Okay
Chippin' around
Kick my brains around the floor
These are the days
It never rains but it pours
Ee do ba be
Ee da ba ba ba
Um bo bo
De do
People on streets ee da de da de
People on streets ee da de da de da
I had my Red Special on hand, I took a deep breath as the two volunteers pulled back the slaps of the see-through curtains and I walked through the smoke and sung the next verse. And as soon as the cameras showed me, everyone was in a roar of applause as I came right up and stood next to Freddie.
And as agreed for this performance whenever I came in at the second verse, I would go up in my high, controlled alto range with Roger and Freddie backing me up before Freddie ended the bridge.
*Me*
It's the terror of knowing
What this world is about
Watching some good friends
Scream! (let me out)
Pray tomorrow higher
Higher high!
*Freddie*
Pressure on people
People on streets
When the bridge came out, Roger, Freddie and I sang in a mezzopiano volume before Freddie sang the rest of the bridge before Roger and I came in on the first “Why”.  Then to show off my vocal range, I did a sorta ‘Freddie’ vocal with my why’s and adlibbed a bit.  Before we ended back together.
All the while Fred and I danced around together, even sharing his mic at one point as I joined Brian on guitar.
*Me, Freddie and Roger*
Turned away from it all like a blind man
Sat on a fence but it don't work
*Freddie*
Keep coming up with love
But it's so slashed and torn
*Me and Roger*
Why
*Me*
Oh why.
Tell me why?
*Freddie*
Insanity laughs under pressure we're breaking
*Both*
Can't we give ourselves one more chance
Why can't we give love that one more chance
Why can't we give love give love give love give love
Give love give love give love give love give love
*Roger, Freddie and me*
'Cause love's such an old fashioned word
And love dares you to care for
The people on the edge of the night
And loves dares you
To change our way of
Caring about ourselves
This is our last dance
This is ourselves
*Freddie and Me*
Under pressure
Under pressure
Pressure
Freddie and I hugged and kissed each other.
“Ladies and Gentlemen the Rock Angel herself Mrs. (Y/n) Kline!” Roger spoke into his microphone. I bowed graciously as the crowd roared in applause.
“HELLO WEMBLEY BEAUTIES!” I then saw Rock Angel signs being raised high in the sky like a banner waving in the wind.  I then heard Deacy strum and fiddle with his bass another familiar bassline.
“I’m feel a little boogie coming on, what do you think?”
“I’m feeling it to Fred.” I spoke into my mic before proclaiming to my dad, “HIT IT ROGER!!” He gave us a beat before counting into the microphone.
“1 2 3 4!” And it was then he and Deacy began playing “Another one bites the dust”.
“Hey! You both called me out.” Freddie spoke.  I grinned at him and began playing alongside Brian as the crowd began going crazy and clapped along.
During the song it was like a little competition between Freddie and I.  He would sing the first verse, then get the crowd rolling to sing the title of the song with Roger backing him up.  Then it was me and Brian getting the crowd pumped up during the second half of the song.  Then during the instrumental break, he and I would have a “Scat-off” which is basically all the ’be-boops’ or “de-ba-ba-boop” scats that Fred is known to do very well.
We would even have a competition between the guys and the girls to see who could chant the title out louder.  I obvious led the girls and Fred led the gentlemen.  Before the two of us would end the song together, and by the end of it all as the crowd cheered, Fred and I hugged each other once again.
After dabbing his face with a towel and I already needing to get myself wiped off from the summer heat as well as the beaming lights, I went up and stood by Brian who was up by the keyboard and he would tell me that now was the time when I would play his guitar part for their newest song, “Who wants to Live forever”.  Fred took a sip of beer before saying into the microphone as he walked further up towards the edge of the stage’s catwalk designed specifically for him.
“You know something there’s—there’s been a lot of rumors lately. About a certain band called Queen, along with a talented female artist known as the Rock Angel. The rumors are that uhh—the rumors that we’re all gonna split up and—break our partnership, what do you think?” at that point the crowd began booing and crying out in protest.
It's true.  I don’t know where or how it came to be.  I mean I myself have heard the rumors about Queen cause to my knowledge, they are literally the longest band to stay together without fully breaking up.  I mean yeah there was that break 2 years ago, but Freddie and all of us learned to forgive and forget because we’re family.
And families have their fights, but it’s those fights that keep us together.  But now some of the press are saying that Queen is planning on splitting up, and that I may also be thinking about severing my ties with Queen.  To fully go off and no longer want anything to do with them.
And it warmed my heart to see Freddie pointing to his ass before proclaiming.
“They’re talking from here!” I grinned and nodded as the crowd cheered.  Brian placed his arm around me and I leaned my head against his chest and wrapped my arms around him. “My apologizes but I say what I want. You know what I mean. So forget those rumors, we’re gonna stay together until we fucking will die I’m sure.” The crowd cheered and I nodded. “I keep—I must tell you, I keep wanting to leave but the Devil Angel back there won’t let me.”
“Watch it Mercury.” I warned him into my microphone as the crowd laughed and cheered.  He grinned cheekily at me before blowing a kiss my way and I blew one back at him, but also snuck in the finger.
“Also I suppose we’re not bad for four aging Queens and an eternal youthful angel, are we? Really what do you think?” the crowd whistled and exploded with an applause.
“I’d say you guys look great. Better than ever even, what do you all say?” at that point I heard some airhorns go off.
“But you my fine Angel. Serious folks some may not know but that angel right there, just became a mother for the first time ever just several months back last year.” At that the crowd went awe and I even heard some shouts of congrats and cheers, mostly from the women in the audience “And she’s positively glowing, what do you all think? Cause she’s been saying all tour how she wasn’t ready to come out just based off her body now.”
At that point the crowd all booed at the last part and I even heard some men shout out “YOU’RE STILL BEAUTIFUL!”
“YOU’RE A FINE GIRL ANGEL!!”
“WE LOVE YOU ROCK ANGEL!”
“Thank you all it really means a lot to me. At first I didn’t even want to do this tour but—it not only took these four misfits to get me back on stage, but all of your love and support. So I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Thank you.” I blew the audience a kiss and whether it was the hormones I still had or just seeing all this support from thousands and thousands of people, I honestly got a little teary eyed.
I wiped them away so that I wouldn’t be crying on stage but I could hear the sounds of the crowd awing me.  It was then I felt Brian give me a real hug and he said in my ear.
“You’re still beautiful (y/n). We all love you.” He gave me a kiss on top of my head, which showed up on the cameras and I continued to try and suck in my tears.
“Thanks Bri.” I said to him before we separated from each other. “Okay,” I spoke into my microphone, “Before you all truly make me cry. This is a new song of Queen’s ‘Who wants to Live forever’.” The audience clapped and that’s when Brian led in on the soft and gentle intro before Freddie’s voice entranced the audience.
Just like Brian had taught me the scales and notes for this song, I came in when necessary while he kept at the keyboard.  When the solo came on, I walked up center stage onto the catwalk and performed the solo which had the audience cheering and whistling as Queen came back on the song.
I got to sing the backup vocals alongside the guys by the end of the song, Freddie sung out the last line as I gave the whammy bar a soft shake to make the last note of my Red Special vibrato a bit before we finally closed the song.
The concert continued with a couple more Queen songs before we did some of my songs like “Rock the World”, “Who I am”, “So good”, “Shallow” (accompanied by Roger, with Fred conducting the audience to sing along since he knew this song was special to me and Rog), and a new song from my recent album, a song I called “Rush”.  After that, Roger, Deacy and I left backstage to change while Brian and Freddie took over the stage with “Love of my Life” and “Is this the world we created”.
After that it was time for a little close in personal bonding time as all five of us came down the stage, Rog with the tambourine this time, Deacy and Brian standing at each end, me standing between Rog and Deacy and Freddie (who was now sporting a police officer’s helmet) gathered around as we began to sing our ‘medley’ songs like.
“(You’re so square )Baby I don’t care”.
“Hello Mary Lou”.
And some new songs of mine, one of which I had dedicated to the guys called “Protecting me”.
“No One”
“Tutti Frutti”
Then there were the more popular songs of Queen like their famed “Bohemian Rhapsody”, the audience participation that was “Radio Gaga”, the groovy dancing of “Crazy little thing called love”, the head banging that was both “Hammer to Fall” and my famed song “Set it all Free” (which was more of the audience singing the song and all I did was sing the chorus).
By the end of the entire concert after singing the last two songs “Friends will be Friends” and “We are the Champions.” Freddie came out for the first time on stage in his kingly attire that consisted of a very long red and white robe and a king’s crown that had red velvet inside and had jewels that could actually rival the actual Crowned Jewels of her royal highness.
Like the true Queen he was, he held his crown out to the audience as the boys and I rocked out the final part of the song and once we ended the song, Deacy, Brian, Roger and I came down with Freddie and waved goodbye to the crowd.
“Thank you, you beautiful people. Goodnight, God bless you.” Then as a final touch to the end of the tour we decided to add something special.  You know how in every Queen concert you hear their rendition of ‘God Save the Queen’, well for my second album, I included me actually singing Britain’s National anthem.  And thanks to the brilliant mind of our sound department and sound mixers, they’ve found a way to combine the two versions together so it sounded like I was singing alongside Queen’s recording.
All for this tour.
As the five of us waved goodbye and I could hear them singing alongside me, I came up to Freddie who had actually placed his crown on top of my head and he bowed before me.  I went along with the act by knighting him with his music staff before he stood up and wrapped an arm around me and the two of us walked out, waving and blowing kisses to the audience with the rest of the boys trailing behind us doing the same thing.
After all that, we quickly raced out towards the back where the cars would take us back to our hotel. So all of us gowned in our after concert robes, mine being a red with white wings on the back quickly raced out with my assistants by my side with towels or water as we quickly raced towards the cars.
I got in my car and as soon as I got in, my driver took off back for the hotel.  When we all finally arrived, we all had a celebration up in Freddie’s suite with some drinks (non-alcohol due to the fact we had a show tomorrow) and food.  It was a small family party really with all our loved ones surrounding us and congratulating us on yet another successful concert.
The next day it was the same thing all over again at the same place.  But I began to notice that Jack was acting a bit strange today. He knew that today was our 2nd anniversary and yet he was playing it off like it was no big deal.
I mean yeah I told him I would be busy today rehearsing for today’s concert but I would’ve thought he’d at least wish me a Happy Anniversary.  But here’s the catch, whenever I tried to talk to the guys about it, they also waved it off like it was nothing and told me to keep busy.
So I decided was going to get to the bottom of this.
“Now we sure she doesn’t know anything about it?” I heard Brian say.
“Oh she doesn’t have a single clue darling.” Freddie’s voice rang out proudly.
“Shhh! Fred lower your voice. Do you want her to overhear you from her dressing room.” Roger hissed.
“Too late!” I made myself known.  They gasped and turned towards me all huddled together, almost like they were hiding something. “Alright spill it, what are you four Queen’s up to?!” I demanded.
“Up to?”
“Up to?”
“Up to?”
“Up to?”
They all chorused out one at a time starting from Deacy, Roger, Brian then Freddie.  Brian began stammering trying to find the right words while Freddie threw some accusations at me for thinking that they would be behind something devious (coming from the most devious one of the Queens, that was just rich).
“We want you to rehearse the drums for ‘Now I’m here’.” Deacy blurted out.
“That’s it!” proclaimed Roger.  Soon I was hurried out by all four members with Brian and Freddie gently pushing my back or shoulders, while Deacy and Roger each had my wrists gripped in their hands as they proceeded to drag me away from the room.  All four of them agreeing with Deacy’s statement.
“But I wasn’t told I had to do the drums in tonight’s show.” I said to them.
“Well things have changed darling.”
“Yep and you’re skilled enough to learn it.” Roger said as he handed me his drumsticks and kissed both my cheeks and nose.  “Now go and practice at my kit love.”
“And don’t rush through it.” Advised Brian
“Take all the time you need.” Said Deacy.
“Practice, practice, practice.” Freddie proclaimed.  I rolled my eyes and went on to practice at Roger’s drumkit.  I waved them off and turned the corner to head up to the stage.
*3rd Person POV*
The four band members continued to wave so long to her, then when she turned the corner, Deacy muttered.
“You still think she doesn’t suspect?”
“Of course not Deacy dear, now c’mon.” Freddie turned with a clap of his hands. “She’s gone!” he proclaimed and that’s when her roadies, costume designers, hair and makeup team as well as Jack came out.
“You’ve kept her busy?” Jack asked.
“Yep. Got her practicing the drums. And she always struggles with ‘Now I’m here’ so she’ll be there for a while.” Said Roger.
“Excellent, okay everyone I’ve got your assignments. Hair and makeup, I want you all to make sure that tonight she looks her best, including waterproof mascara.” Jack explained.
“Yep, cause lord knows she’ll be bawling her eyes out once we execute the surprise during the show.” Freddie said.
“Costume designers, make sure she wears the dress I had picked out once Brian and Freddie begin ‘Love of my Life’.”
“Right-o Jack. And may I just say you picked out a wonderful dress for her to wear. It’ll fit her like a glove.” Her head costumer Phillipe said.
“Thanks, and roadies, you all are in charge of setting up the color themed lights for our dance, as well as the video projection of our wedding.”
“We’re on it Jack.” Said Lucky, (Y/n)’s head roadie.
“Okay now we don’t have much time, get going go!” Jack said with a flick of the pencil to the clipboard and the Rock Angel’s team all scattered to get ready.  “And you guys will come out with the cake right?” he said to Roger and Deacy.
“You can count on us Jack.” Deacy said.
“Ohh she’s gonna be so surprised!” Freddie said with pumped up fists.
“And guys, thank you again for helping me plan this. After last year’s anniversary kinda going down the drain due to late rehearsals for Live Aid, I wanna make this up to her.”
“We’re happy to help you Jack darling, anything for you two.” Freddie said with a pat on his shoulder.  Jack smiled at the frontman of Queen and said.
“Okay, before she gets even more suspicious, let’s head out and see if we can help the others.” The band nodded and they left the room and helped out around backstage.
*My POV*
As the hours ticked by, it was finally concert time.  It pretty much ran the same way as it did yesterday with the songs in the exact order as we sang them yesterday.
But what was odd was that just before ‘Now I’m here’ which the guys told me I was gonna drum to, my roadies and agent pulled me aside and my wardrobe and makeup people began to fit me into something else.  I was now sporting a wine ruched bodice high silt velvet dress.
The two spaghetti straps were snug against my shoulders and the slit in the dress only came up to my mid-thigh and was barely noticeable unless you moved and exposed it. I was also forced to wear 2 inch black heels and my hair was done up even curlier than before.
“Okay Phillipe what in the world is going on?”
“My darling I am sworn to secrecy I cannot explain.” He said in his heavy French accent.
“Then can you at least tell me where this dress came from?”
“Maybe from a secret admirer no?” he teased as he told me to look up and he applied some mascara on me. “Ahh and there she is our beautiful Rock angel is complete!”
“Oh wait one more thing,” his assistant Marie said as she came up with a wand and gave me some wings at the corner of my eyes.
“Oh brilliant Marie. Now then my dear, let’s get you back on stage.”
“But how am I gonna perform looking like this?”
“Oh don’t worry it mon Cherie. Now go out there and be beautiful. Kisses.” He kissed each of my cheeks before he and Marie shoved me out and shut the door.
“God what the hell is wrong with everyone today?” but I walked back towards the stage.  When I arrived I could still hear the roar of the crowd and that’s when I saw the lights go down and a spotlight came onto Brian as I could hear him prepare to play ‘Love of my life’.
“This is the point where the guitarist gets to speak, now and again.” I grinned softly. “And today I don’t have very much to say except thank for you making this the hottest ticket we’ve ever seen. You’re great we love you.” He played a few more chords before then saying something that caught me off guard, “But tonight, tonight is something very special. And I’d like all of you to give a warm welcome back onto the stage the beautiful Rock Angel (Y/n) Kline.”
Oh god, with me looking like this I’ll be totally out of place but Phillipe and Marie went to all this trouble and work and I hate to disappoint them.  So I slowly walked out from backstage and I could immediately hear the wolf whistles and proclamations of love.  I smiled and waved before going up to Brian and I said.
“Tell me what’s going on right now May or I swear your Red Special will be missing by morning.”
“Just trust us darling.” He said to me.
“We’d also like to bring out another special person,” Freddie said as he came up beside me. “He’s the one who took this lovely Angel away from us, and was also the one who knocked her up.” I slapped his arm which made the audience laugh, “But he was also her bass player for a time, ladies and gentlemen give a warm Wembley welcome to Mr. Jack Kline!”
The audience cheered loudly as Jack came on the stage sporting a white button up shirt, dark grey pants, and his hair sleeked back.  I looked at him and my heart went BOOM! But with that boyish grin, it also made my stomach flutter.  He came up to me and took my hands in his and wrapped them around his neck.
“For you see two years ago today, was the day these two young turtledoves became one.” At that point the audience awed and was in a roar of applause. “So this song is dedicated to them, Happy Anniversary Jack and (Y/n).” Freddie said.  Finally Brian began playing the final opening chords before Freddie began to sing “Love of my Life”.
All the while Jack took me towards center stage under the spotlight so that we could have a slow dance together. What was even more romantic was when Freddie conducted the audience to sing the song, and Jack stopped dancing and had the two of us look out as the audience sang.
“They’re singing to us baby.” By the end of the audience participation, I cupped Jack’s cheek and brought him down for a kiss which made the audience cheer and whistle.
*Freddie*
Love of my life, you've hurt me You've broken my heart and now you leave me *Audience*
Love of my life, can't you see? Bring it back, bring it back Don't take it away from me, because you don't know What it means to me
*Freddie and audience*
Love of my life, don't leave me You've stolen my love, you now desert me Love of my life, can't you see? Bring it back, bring it back Don't take it away from me Because you don't know What it means to me
You will remember When this is blown over Everything's all by the way When I grow older I will be there at your side to remind you How I still love you
*Audience*
I still love you
“He still loves you (y/n).” Freddie spoke as he came up to us which made the audience cheer.
“I love him too.” I said into Freddie’s microphone and as I kissed my husband of two years once more under the pink lights that shined down on us, the audiences whistled and cheered. The sweet sound of Brian’s acoustic playing and the warmth of my husband holding me in his arms as we continued to sway, had me feeling like I was in heaven.
It was then I took notice of the monitor and saw that there were pictures of us playing on the screens in a slideshow format, some of is were just us goofing around from the summer we met, to our first Christmas and birthdays together, then finally our wedding pictures.
*Freddie*
Oh, hurry back, hurry back Don't take it away from me Because you don't know what it means to me *Audience*
Love of my life *Freddie and Audience*
Love of my life Ooh, yeah
As the song ended, the slideshow ended with Jack and I at the wedding doing our first kiss as husband and wife.  It also did a cute little editing of fireworks and a heart around the two of us before finally ending in elegant cursive writing.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY JACK AND (Y/N) KLINE.
Jack then softly dipped me before capturing my lips with his and I gladly accepted the kiss. I stroked my hands through his hair and down his jawline before he sat me back in the upright position, as the crowd was in a roar of whistles and exclamations.
By this time I was in full on waterfall moment as tears kept pouring down my face.  I hugged my husband before turning to Freddie and hugged him.  He patted my back and kissed my temple then I turned to Brian.  He wrapped an arm around me and kissed my other temple before saying.
“Happy Anniversary love.” I turned around and that’s when I saw Deacy and Roger coming out with a cake.  The two of them grinning as they clapped along with the audience.  I buried my face into my hands as I jogged towards my dad and brother and hugged and kissed them.  Jack came up and wrapped his arms around me before kissing my cheek and the two of us stared down at the beautifully decorated vanilla icing cake with angel wings decorated around it with the words HAPPY ANNIVERSARY KLINES KLAN.
“As an added bonus; we’ve elected to give our beloved Rock Angel the rest of the night off to spend with her beloved husband who worked so hard to put this together.” Freddie said into the microphone.
“Wait what?” I said through the crowd.
“We talked about it love and after having to miss your first anniversary last year for Live Aid stuff, we want you and Jack to have what you couldn’t last year.” Roger said.
“But what about the audience?” it was then I saw Deacy go towards Freddie and Fred handed him his microphone and for the first time Deacy spoke to the audience.
“She believes that she should stay here and continue with the concert. Should she?” at that point the audience all hissed in rejection, telling me to go and be with the love of my life.
“Seems your spoken for darling. Now go on you two crazy kids. Spend your anniversary together.” Freddie said.  I smiled and lowered my head when I suddenly felt myself being carried bridal style.  Jack grinned cheekily at me before leaning forward and gave me another kiss and carrying me backstage, some of my roadies taking the cake back out.
Once we reached backstage, Jack set me down and wrapped his arms around me.
“I can’t believe you did all this for me.”
“How could I not? I know how devastated you were last year, so I decided to make it up.”
“But you know I had said we could’ve just made it up with wine at the hotel after the show.”
“I know that’s not what you really wanted. I know when you really mean something, and when you said that to me yesterday you were just trying to cover up the hurt you thought I would feel fearing we had to miss another anniversary because of your career.” Damn him, he’s just as perceptive as Brian and Deacy combined.
“Oh Jack, I love you.” I sobbed happily as I hugged him.
“I love you too baby, happy anniversary.”
“Happy anniversary.” With that we raced out of the stadium and caught a ride with my driver Louis.
“To Mazzello’s Italian restaurant Louie, and step on it. We’ve got special reservations tonight.” Jack said.
“Right away sir.” Louis said graciously before starting to car and getting us on the road.
We arrived at the restaurant around 20 minutes later and that’s when Jack led us inside after Louis wished us a Happy Anniversary, which we both thanked him for.  Jack opened the restaurant doors for me and I thanked him in a posh tone before he followed in after me.
We went up to the front desk and Jack said the reservation name and the waiter confirmed it and escorted us up the stairs to the upper level of the restaurant.  He then led us outside to the balcony sitting and it turned out we were the only ones there.
“Here we are signor, signora.” The waiter said as he set up our table with our menus.  Jack allowed me to sit down first and he scooted my chair in before he himself took a seat.
Our waiter came in and Jack ordered us the special champagne they had going on sale for tonight and we both ordered our meals.  Jack ordered the spaghetti with meatballs while I got the Fettucine Alfredo with a side of calamari for the both of us.
Once our food came and we both began to eat, it was then I saw the band come up to us and I heard the accordion player begin to play a familiar tune.  Oh my god no way, it was then he began to sing “Bella Notte” from my favorite Disney movie, Lady and the Tramp.
“Jack you didn’t.” I said in awe.
“I knew it was your favorite movie. So…..shall we give it a go?” he said as he held up a single strand of spaghetti.
“What did I do to ever deserve you?”
“Just lucky I guess.” I then took one end of the spaghetti and placed it in my mouth as Jack did the same for the other end, till we both slowly came towards each other (timing it with the song just right) as our lips met in a kiss.
Like Lady did, I turned away and blushed thinking I couldn’t believe I had done my fantasy dream kiss. I felt Jack take my hand in his and he stared at me with those beautiful blue eyes of his.  He leaned his forehead against mine as the two of us fell under the spell of the Italian singers singing to us.
After dinner the two of us took a romantic stroll under the moonlight in the park.  The streetlights and the fireflies being our only source of light, along with the full moon and the stars.
As we walked along the sidewalk, guess the two of us were too dazed and entranced with each other to realize we were now walking on wet cement.
“Oh bugger!” I swore as I laughed embarrassingly.
“Not really, look.” He knelt down and drew a large heart with his first and last initial.  I smiled and knelt down beside him and wrote mine in the heart underneath his.  Then we imprinted our hands next to the heart before looking at each other smiling lovingly at each other.
Once that was done, we cleaned our shoes and hands off at a nearby sink and continued on our walk through the park.  As we came to ‘Lover’s bridge’ we stared down at the small lake stream that flowed under the bridge and watched as two swans swam together.
“Did you know that swans are known to be monogamous?” Jack asked me.
“Really?”
“Yep. It’s even said that when they swim together, they can intertwine their necks into a heart. Which makes swans the sign of love.” Jack said as his hands cupped around mine and when I looked down at my hands, I saw that both his and mine made a heart with mine being the inner heart and his being the outer.
I looked up at him and he looked down at me.  He slowly leaned down towards me, his lips softly grazing against mine, his nose nuzzling against mine.
“I hope we can last forever, just like those swans down there.” He whispered.
“I want that to my love.” I whispered back as we turned back towards the water to see the swans intertwine their necks together to form the famed heart shape.
We ended our walk by sitting on top of a hill that overlooked the rest of the park and had a great view of the moon in front of us.  Jack and I spoke not a word as we turned to each other.  Because truthfully there were no more words that needed to be said at this moment.
I loved Jack and he loved me.  As the two of us cuddled close together to stare up at the moon and enjoyed what this night meant to us.
The night we became “And”, the day we became “We”, the day we became husband and wife.
