3. Most common argument?

Considering how many times Anzu in the manga is like “DON’T SAY THAT!!” whenever he makes a particularly callous comment, I want to say they might get into a little snit or two every now and then over a comment that’s a little too outré for Anzu’s sense of propriety and it devolves into conversations about like, tact and tasteful jokes. If Jounouchi’s having a more cantankerous and closed-off day than usual over something that went wrong, I can also see him trying to brush off her more aggressive expressions of care as “annoying” (she isn’t annoying, but he just wants to sulk for a while) when most of the time he actually DOES appreciate and value and need her gung-ho, “let’s roll our sleeves up and fix this” attitude. The other thing is that like... Anzu’s dream is to be a dancer in New York, that’s a difficult career in an expensive city; I can see him bristling against accepting financial help from her parents and maybe being a little too tied to concepts of what it means to be a “man” like “what’s wrong with me if I can’t provide for you on my OWN” and she doesn’t have his kind of pride here. she’s like “that doesn’t matter to me. Why does this matter to YOU so much?” and they have to figure that out.

7. What’s the first thing that changes when they realize they have feelings for the other?

Is it possible for Anzu to get MORE defensive of Jounouchi? LET’S FIND OUT. Also, and this is my Ideal Devotionship Scenario, is that one day Anzu looks over at Jounouchi and realizes she’s almost always liked him as a person but he’s also matured SO much and he works so hard and he genuinely cares so much about all his friends and everyone he loves and his goofier jokes do make her laugh like a hyena... she starts relying on him more as a sounding board for her thoughts and feelings, and starts hanging out with him more just one on one, separate from the rest of their friends...

But really I think Jounouchi if he realizes he’s in love with Anzu he 1) starts trying to impress her more and get her attention and 2) probably has a very specific idea of the type of guy he thinks Anzu would like, and THAT Guy uses a daily planner to keep track of things (like a nerd) and doesn’t slack off on his laundry, and is cool without being a clown, so he is, for a hot few weeks, an awkward and fumbling but exuberant mess who insists on carrying her groceries and buys a polo shirt and tries to play it extremely cool but also he’s like “so... notice anything different about me?” and Anzu is like “....your hair is..... more tousled than normal” (she’s into it) and he’s like 😭 polo shirt it’s the polo shirt i am wearing a polo shirt 😭 like Jounouchi... bro... what Anzu likes about you has nothing to do with polo shirts (this is what Honda tells him after he unpacks the whole thing over text in a state of despair) anyway he just needs to chill out a little. once she realizes what he’s doing she has to laugh a little, but she also loves the effort, it’s cute

In combination, that’s how Anzu ends up texting him at 11 PM at night like “hey i’m bored do you want to go get ramen” and he is like “absolutely, see you in 10 min” so off they go for a late night walk together, and it’s raining a little and he holds the umbrella as they talk about nothing and everything. he makes a big show of helping her step or jump over every gutter puddle. he thinks he’s being suave but she just finds it kind of adorable

Eventually one of them just comes out and confesses it, and it doesn’t take long for this to happen. Probably Anzu because Jounouchi seems like the type to worry a little over the thought of getting rejected :(

19. Who tells their family/friends about their relationship first? AND 20. What do their family/friends think of their relationship?

The first people Jounouchi tells are Shizuka and Honda, of course, and Honda is just like, delighted. He loves Anzu, obviously, but he also cares sooooo much about Jounouchi and is just kind of secretly relieved that Jounouchi is dating someone who cares just as much about Jounouchi as he does, and is good to Jounouchi and good FOR Jounouchi. I’m pretty sure both Anzu and Honda would kill for Jounouchi lol. Shizuka just wants to know that Anzu isn’t into any of the freaky magic shit from Battle City, and once suitably reassured, she gets excited about the idea of having a cool big sis <3 

Anzu’s family finds him very charming and earnest. They like him. I think they trust Anzu to be responsible and have good judgment and so they’re more than happy to give Jounouchi a chance, although he is SO nervous about meeting them.

And then Yuugi... they tell him together, probably. Whether or not he has any lingering crush on Anzu, how can he begrudge his two best friends falling in love with each other, how could he NOT be happy for them? I don’t think he’s capable of being salty about it at ALL, he’s thrilled lol

A/N: thank you for requesting this ♥️♥️ so I did this with Vampire! Michael because I’ve always wanted to write for Vampire Michael and I saw the opportunity w this and took it haha. I feel like this starts out being sexy and fluffy and then it just nosedives into complete angst so.. get ready hehe.

Warnings: Michael drinks readers blood so, if blood freaks you out than please skip this haha. There is a major death in this, I don’t wanna spoil the fic but someone dies 😶 and it’s described heavily so expect major angst!

You’d think having a vampire boyfriend would complicate a relationship but it didn’t really. If anything it made you feel safer than dating any human would, you knew Michael could protect you. Easily.

You and Michael had been together for atleast two years; and you’ve done everything together. You’ve traveled the world together and even moved in but there was one thing that you two hadn’t done.. You hadn’t let him drink him from you.

It wasn’t that you didn’t trust him or love him enough to do this, it’s just that you were nervous. Nervous to try something new and as jarring as to literally put your life in your boyfriends hands. But nevertheless, you finally agreed and caved in.

You weren’t too nervous though, you knew you would be safe with Michael. You always were and would be.

Now you were in your house that you shared with Michael, on the couch. You insisted on doing this in the bathroom just in case things got messy but Michael insisted to do it either in the bedroom or on the couch; somewhere where you would be most comfortable.

Your neck had already been prepped and cleaned.. Now you waited anxiously. The room was kept extremly dim; no lights were turned on. The only light source came from several candles that were scattered around the room. The couch was velvet, and warm against your skin. You lied down while Michael lay next to you, also his idea.

“Are you ready”?

You heard Michaels voice from beside you; it was deep and sultry. It probably would’ve been considered sexy in a normal circumstance where you weren’t about to have your blood sucked from you like a damn caprisun.

You merely nodded and added a quiet, “Yes”.

That’s all it took. You felt like a statue as you felt Michaels lips gently kiss your neck. You felt his lips continue to move; it was almost as if he was trying to leave a hickey.. and then - you felt his teeth.

The puncture of Michael actually biting you was quick. You winced, your fingers curled and dig into the velvet couch below you and you let out a hum - not one of pleasure but one of slight discomfort and a bit of pain.

You felt Michael start to melt into you as he got more comfortable. His head and shoulders relaxed and you felt his soft blonde hair tickle your face and neck; the scent of his shampoo seemed to relax you and distract you of the fleeting pain that was gently throbbing in your neck. His hands gently gripped your arms for support.

However; the feeling of being faint and weak seemed to suddenly hit you like a freight train. The room was quickly growing darker and darker and you were breathing faster and faster. Your body started to feel static and numb from the loss of blood.. At this rate you were going to pass out.

“Michael.. stop”. You weakly croaked out. You felt Michael pull away from your neck; it was the hot breath and the panting that told you he had stopped drinking from you.. You could still feel the blood rushing from your neck though.

“Can you feel the blood draining from your body”? Michael asked. His voice thick.

“Yes! Please.. stop”. Your voice ended as a mere whisper at the end of your sentence. You could only hope that Michael heard you. However; the last thing you felt before you completely lost consciousness was Michaels lips on your neck once again.

Michael seemed to go into a frenzy the second his lips touched your neck. He first felt confident in himself enough at first to know he wouldn’t hurt you but those feelings immeaditly subsided once he tasted your sweet blood in his mouth. It was sweeter than sugar; sweeter than honey. All rational thought left his mind and he seemed to go completly primal.

Your pleading; you begging him to stop did nothing to Michael. Even when you lost consciousness he kept going; it was only until he felt the fresh sweet taste of your blood start to dull and turn bitter was when he stopped. The weird ‘blackout’ he seemed to be in was over.

His worst nightmare had came true. He hurt you. He fucking killed you. The color of your skin; the fact that your blood was no longer fresh; and the fact that your heart was no longer beating.. it was obvious you were fucking dead.

Michael screamed. He fell to his knees immeaditly as tears quickly fell down his face and onto his clothes, and even onto your corpse. He held onto you and sobbed.

He couldn’t help but think how the hell he was going to carry on with this guilt; this grief for the rest of eternity. He was immortal after all.

He honestly had never wished to be a mortal, human more than he had in this moment. If only he was human, at least he would be comforted with the idea that at least one day the grief would end.

But for now; he was stuck with the truth that he had killed you in cold blood. And he would have to live with that. Forever.
