Great band name. Moderate Rebels are a 5 piece band from London, England. There is only one song currently available from their upcoming release “If You See Something That Doesn’t Look Right”, but it made me listen to more of their Bandcamp catalogue.
My initial feeling was that this band would sound great alongside Australian band Terry (Al Montfort...plus members from Total Control, Primo and others). Their Bandcamp page mentions Syd Barrett, Phil Spector, Stereolab and Pet Shop Boys. If you listen to “Shared Values” (2018, you’ll hear clear musical and lyrical references to The Velvet Underground. There is a definite motorik groove to their music.
“If You See Something That Doesn’t Look Right” will be released by UK label Moshi Moshi Records. This label has previously released music from Teleman and Girl Ray.

Happy Would-Be 75th Syd Barrett!
The Song of the Day is:
Pink Floyd – “See Emily Play”
From the album The Piper at the Gates of Dawn (1967)
Emily tries but misunderstands, ah ooh
She’s often inclined to borrow somebody’s dreams till tomorrow
There is no other day
Let’s try it another way
You’ll lose your mind and play
Free games for May
See Emily play
Unfortunately, the original…

Syd Barrett, Olympia, London, Britain - 22 Dec 1967. Photos by Ray Stevenson.
Rex Features date: 22 Dec 1967 or on 6 June 1970 as part of a Music and Fashion Festival. The trio (Syd Barrett, David Gilmour and Jerry Shirley) performed four songs, "Terrapin", "Gigolo Aunt", "Effervescing Elephant" and "Octopus". Poor mixing left the vocals barely audible until part-way through the last number. At the end of the fourth song, Barrett unexpectedly but politely put down his guitar and walked off the stage. The performance has been bootlegged. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p25BbkKBqcM

December 21, 2020... Sleigh bells ring, are you listening? In the lane, snow is glistening. The beautiful sight, we’re happy tonight, walking in winter with Syd! London saw him with a scruffy look and thirsting for the cleaner cut man, not missing an opportunity to show us his amazing body. You’re welcome for sharing!!

Why no one is talking about the Proxy duology is beyond me. Go read that, then read this cute miscommunication fic that just fits the universe so well.
