In addition to the Challenge Mode that requires players to complete stages in a set order based on difficulty, Super Monkey Ball 2 includes a Story Mode that lumps stages together in groups of 10 each as Worlds. When playing through a given World, players are allowed an infinite number of lives, and can complete the 10 stages in any order as desired. This provides a much more manageable challenge for new players, especially as it pertains to gradually learning the ins and outs of the many unique mechanics that make up the higher difficulty stages in general.
This time on Cinematech Reborn, meet Officer Monkey Balls, witness the Vengeance of the Protopet, and answer the ultimate question: Is Salsa really taller because she has a hat on? Find out!
ok so i just played super monkey ball 2 (for gamecube) with my sister, and this was her first time playing a video game of that era, and she thought it was so wild that it wasn’t an open world game
like how do you look at that tiny-ass disc and think that it has enough space for that??
ALSO she was dissing the graphics in the game, which i thought were pretty fucking good in comparison to harry potter chamber of secrets (also gamecube)
like how do i explain that this is how video games used to be?
