Since everyone is sharing their own, I've had this idea for an OC story (not related to the current story) that has been floating in my head for a while. Let me know what you think?

Basic idea is Weasel Army identified high profile targets to 'acquire' during the raid on Fowl Village while Flower Hill is focused on that.

Group gets locked up in a secure location elsewhere, in order to gradually attempt to force them to work for the empire.

-young squirrel scientist (some sort of rare specialty) who studied at a foreign university. Good friends with a mouse who makes a joke about kidnapping them, and then does later (same with others).

-Hedgehog military tactician (one or two of them)

-Some civilians of squirrels and a trainee hedgehog or two that will be threatened with harm if the scientists act up, since it is in their best interests not to harm the ones they want. Young civilians are basically given online school/college courses to keep them busy and eventually also end up with degrees after a few years.

-One young hedgehog turns out to be extremely colorblind and nearsighted. Includes 'WHO LET YOU IN THE BARRACKS?" type exclamations among the less serious laughter.

I would want it to be a more humorous story though. Like everyone is treated well because the are wanted alive, and they need to slowly break down their resistance. Shenanigans happen, such as the squirrel scientist somehow ending up with a higher rank despite being a prisoner/hostage, and occasionally using it to her advantage. Gun held to a hostages head turns out to be a squirt gun filled with lemonade. Hostages allowed to walk around the halls to see how long it takes anyone to notice the Flower Hill uniforms.

Eventually they figure, hey as long as we don't produce anything that will directly harm Flower Hill isn't it fine? And they can still cause sabotage since they have to help with some occupations of foreign lands, and hey is the army is spread thin from other successful occupations...it has been a few years so surely being locked up underground would make anyone change their tune so no one could blame us.

Maybe Geumsaegi visits for inspection purposes at some point and is horrified.

This would be after I finish Lily Bell in the Thorn Thicket, and after a second story. I have an AU planned that would be a continuation (or fix it fic) of episode 32 where Geumsaegi points out that the wolf soldiers are in the caves and Mulmangcho just pumped poison in? And then the empire's army explodes into factions (we were already seeing factions between White Weasel and the General Commander's brother), and Geumsaegi with his status (knows all the codes and secrets) is a high profile target for all of them.

Living in a big city is kinda funny because every so often you get texts from people you know that are like "is everything alright I heard what happened" and I have to google my city name to figure out whats going on because I do not pay enough attention to notice anything

For example today my friend texted me "hey what's going on at your place?" Because apparently there's a big police operation 5min from my flat and I got to tell her I'm on my way to my parents and have no clue, like I wouldn't have just turned up my headphones and ignored everything if I stayed at home
