(Leela and Fry were watching a movie one night since Bender was out with robo hookers. Leela looked at fry sadly for a moment. She was coming in and out of reality.)

Fry: You okay?

(Leela snapped out of her daze to looked at Fry who had been looking at her concerned.)

Leela: I'm alright. I need to head to the bathroom.

Fry: Okay.

(Leela heads to the bathroom as Fry looked at her.)

Fry: (thinking) what going on with her lately?

(Fry had notice Leela acting strange lately but never brought it up. But before he could dwell more he heard her scream.)

Leela: FRY!!!

(Fry rushed to the bathroom where Leela was in and found her shaking and breathing heavly.)

Fry: Leela!

(He took her into his arms and put her on the bed. he went up there as well and held her as she continues to breathe heavy.)

Fry: It's okay Leela, I'm here.

(Leela calms down moments later and Fry looks at her in concern.)

Fry: Leela, This is the third episode you had this week. You also been acting strange the couple of weeks too. What's going on?

Leela: I'll tell you. But promise me you won't tell anyone?

Fry: I promise.

Leela: I wanna die.

Fry: What?!

Leela: I know but it's just, (sniffs) I can't take this anymore! From my painful childhood, former boyfriends using me, and...

(she stops as fry puts his finger on her lips)

Fry: Leela i know how you feel. But suicide isn't the answer.

Leela: I know but i want the pain to stop!

(Leela held onto Fry once more as she cries again. Fry began to whisper comforting words to soothe her.)

Leela: Sorry.

Fry: It's okay Leela. I love you.

Leela: I love you too.

(They continue to hug as sleep overtakes the couple.)

Frender - Should’ve been canon (part one) — PART TWO IS OUT!

So, I’ve been wanting to do this for a while now, and the only reason I’ve gotten this Tumblr account is to make this.

A short short analysis on Fry and Bender (more parts will be made, but you don’t have to read them).

Let’s go to the beginning of the show.

We first start the show with our opening scene with Fry explaining space in a video game. He seems to be your average 1990s loser who either lives in his parents basement or lives in a crummy old apartment.

When we get to see Bender, who can’t go on living once realising the girders he bends are for suicide booths, we can clearly see that he is the 31st century equivalent to Fry.

Fry is running away from Leela at this time, who apparently is supposed to be his future SO. Fry is running away from her, like running away from a bad, unhealthy relationship. It’s also clear that Fry has been in at least two unhealthy relationships (Morgan and Michelle, Michelle whom he dated twice). Fry even described how Michelle was his “on again, off again girlfriend” in the The Cryonic Woman (Season 2, Episode 19), while later on, Leela described her and Fry’s relationship as “off again, on again” in Overclockwise (Season 6, Episode 25).

In Rebirth, when Leela is put into an “irreversible coma”, Fry makes Lego minifigures of both himself and Leela, while saying “my soulmate is gone.”. In Silence Of The Clamps, Fry creates a minifigure of Bender:
