I think in my experience with it, the best/funniest way to describe living with OCD/anxiety issues/intrusive thoughts is that it feels like having a Tumblr user who sends anon hate in your brain; a loud, annoying, pathetic little voice that jumps to the most ridiculous, disgusting, uncharitable, nonsensical, bad faith, and upsetting-to-you-personally hot take on almost everything you do, see, like, believe, think, enjoy, and feel. And it harasses/bullies you by spamming these takes at you repetitively and demanding you engage with them, but the only way to really deal with it is learn to distinguish it from your real anons/thoughts and ignore it as the powerless deranged weakling it is because engaging with it is useless and just encourages it to keep bugging you.

my coworker randomly came up to my desk and talked about something which reminded him of his age (he's like..50), and then he went into dad-mode and said "you truly need to enjoy every second of this life. it's way too short."
i just gave him a smile and said that he was right, but damn, whenever i hear such "advice", something inside of me breaks. what if i don't enjoy life? what if i haven't enjoyed life for so long now? i am completely and painfully aware of how many things i've been missing out on, and i doubt that it's going to improve in the future. going to therapy has only been uncovering all the reasons why i've been feeling and acting the way that i do, but it's not helping in solving anything, because most of these things cannot be solved. i am stuck in this shit, and if i ever reach my coworker's age, i'm probably going to have a gazillion regrets.

I feel so depressed...
Yes I taked my meds but
I saw so much people treat neurodivergent people like shit and isn't something just online
But is like I'm trying find a job since summer of last year and yes I was put aside because of my illnesses, mostly my Epilepsy (is controlled) and I feel so shit like I don't deserve really find a way to be financially stable by my own...
Is something wrong with me or with society?
I feel so lost and I starting loose hope in this path that I decided to follow since last month
Sure u can think that I'm being too dramatic for something so recent but isn't like that
I always was put aside so seeing "adults" put me aside makes my innerchild so much anxious about everything
