Aemond gives his horse to the stablehand, pushing two silver pieces in his hands to ensure the animal is taken care of. He then turns to you, his wife and his precious fox. 

‘’Shall we help her ladyship from her horse, my Prince?’’ One of the guards asks. You are startled, you had forgotten all about them joining you for the meeting.

Aemond stares at you with so much love and happiness in your eyes that it almost pains you when his scowl returns, addressing the soldier. ‘’You won’t touch even the shit of her horse, let alone my wife. I shall fetch her myself.’’ He declares, moving closer to you. 

There is that darkness you’ve grew quite fond of. You hide your blush and smirk, quite enjoying it whenever your husband shows the little soldiers who is in charge. ‘’I am not a thing to be fetched.’’ You tell him, before he gently lifts you from your horse, helping you down on the stones. He ignores your comment, kissing your lips the moment you are both with your feet on the ground again.

‘’I never said you were a ‘’thing’’. I just said I would get what belongs to me.’’ He grins, leaning in for another soft kiss.

This is a complicated story as it started reader insert but Willa has a name obviously, a ancestry, a story, a background, and even a face claim so I try to avoid blushing in new stories but for this one it made sense to have it as Willa kind of has a face claim and I've wrote it here before.

Snow Falls - Chapter 7.

Lex’s smile is smug, similar to the one he used to wear when Lena got the blame for something he did as a child. It makes her want to kick him hard in the shin, to make him suffer even an ounce of the pain that he and his despicable mother has put her through for the last couple of decades.

Lena can’t—won’t—give him the satisfaction, though.

Lex would enjoy having something else to hold against her and he’s already making Lena’s life a living Hell as it is. So, she resists, and merely forces a smile to her lips that she just knows looks much more like a grimace than the fondness anyone else would show their sibling at this time of year. The hug he offers her is a little too much, however, and she side-steps away from his arms in favor of checking on Stinky instead.

His fuzzy head offers her some comfort, the silence broken by his purring as he rolls over to expose his shaved belly that Lena knows better than to touch.

“It was a little optimistic to get a pet, wouldn’t you say?” Lex is bemused, flicking at invisible lint on his suit jacket as he gets a little too comfortable on the couch. “I don’t even know why you’re here at all,” he continues, “but I don’t see the little fleabag coming home with you so I wouldn’t get too attached if I were you.”

He chuckles softly and crosses one leg over the other, “same goes for the chirpy blonde you’ve been spending so much time with.”

Lena stiffens, her jaw already aching after only a few moments of grinding her teeth and biting her tongue. Of course Lex has been spying on her, perhaps terrified that Lena would somehow gain a life of her own and slip out from beneath his and Lillian’s suffocating thumbs. She scoffs, shaking her head at herself for believing that she could have any kind of freedom from them for even a second.

“Although, I don’t think you have to worry about finding a way to say goodbye to her,” Lex chuckles. “She seemed very surprised when I told her you were selling the cabin.”

Lena’s heart stutters, freezing mid-stroke as Stinky sighs and impatiently bumps at her knuckles.

“You talked to Kara?”
