Four weeks after the terrorist attack in New York: Heavy bands are shocking again - as if nothing had happened.

“There won't be any more bloody gigs in the foreseeable future. Everyone knows that it would be completely wrong now.” wrote Yam! in issue 41. And bodies are still being pulled out of the rubble of the World Trade Center in New York every day. But the Nu Metallers from Mudvayne, Rammstein and Slipknot know no taboos. On their current "Pledge of Allegiance" tour, they appear on stage exactly as they did before the attack: aggressive, bloody, provocative! Kur von Mudvayne appears with headshots painted on his face and his face covered in blood. Rammstein singer Till Lindemann unmoved mimics the flamethrower. And Slipknot are bizarrely masked as always. What's on their minds? Don't these bands have feelings? Kur appeases: “Provocation is part of our style. The fans expect that from us. If we were to change anything because of the events of the last few weeks, terror would have defeated us. The show must go on. Fuck these terrorist bastards!”

What speaks for the bands: The start of their tour, which will run until the end of October, has been postponed — it was originally supposed to start on September 14th. Kud: “We have to find our way back to normal.”
