#Skyclan's destiny spoilers

okay i was looking at the warriors wiki and apparently frostpaw isn't the first cat in the series to be tnr'd, percy from skyclan's destiny is. i feel like the fact that i haven't seen anyone bring him up really shows how forgettable skyclan's destiny is and that's coming from someone who liked the book-

i know skyclan destiny isnt that good in retrospect and its considered one of the lower tier SEs in the series but....i have a soft spot for it. i cant get through it NOW but as a kid??? hell yeah i could reread that several times over. theres a really unique human / cat interaction that NO ONE talks about!

So Cloudstar tells Firestar that he was waiting for a cat that wasn’t related to any of the cats who banished his clan, and I know they meant that no or not many kittypets or rogues had joined the clans since Skyclan had been forced to leave, but I’ve decided to believe that every other kittypet and rogue in the area has clan blood, whether recent or distantly.
Jake was born in the neighborhood but his parents came from elsewhere. Nutmeg’s mother was a pedigree show cat, and her father was some stray she met while traveling for a show.
Cloudtail’s father had a Thunderclan ancestor. Henry, the old tabby that is mentioned maybe once, is secretly Pinestar. Quince’s grandmother was a Shadowclan cat. Bone and Smudge are both Patchpelt’s sons.

Just found Tinystars Beginning and binge read Into the Wild in less than a day. They should hire you to write for the main series ngl. Any plans to do something with the Super Editions?
Oh wow, thanks!
As far as the Super Editions go, I do have a few ideas - one mirroring Bluestar's Prophecy, one mirroring Firestar's Quest, and an original one that rolls in a lot of the concepts and locations from later SEs. Honestly, I think that's all I've got in me, since I've got a very definite end to the TB series in mind, whether I finish it or not.
I also don't intend for these to be required reading to understand the main series, which is always a pit the canon Super Editions fall into - so I don't have to rush to work on them, and I can figure them out when I feel like it.
Brief concepts for the three (without obvious spoilers):
Tinystar's Quest - (their titles are not meant to be 1:1 with their canon counterparts, I just don't have a confirmed title for this one, as, frankly, its the least important one in my mind) after learning that Fiona has been having visions of a StarClan warrior, Tinystar and Cloudtail must help her forge her destiny and rebuild a tragically forgotten piece of Clan history - SkyClan.
Like Fire - this one is about Bluestar! Because it details a lot of prequel stuff, obviously, and follows Bluestar's story from kithood to tyrant :D Being a prequel, there's a LOT of family-tree and timeline stuff that I am trying very hard not to mess up, so this one, while exciting, is probably the most intimidating!
The Wander - since I revealed it in an ask, this one is about Sandstorm's journey home! It's a very emotional story! Out of all these concepts, I think this is the one I'm most likely to work on before the others.
I've toyed with the idea of condensing my Po3/Omen of the Stars arc into three super-edition length stories, mainly because having four different PoVs might be hard to make satisfying over six books, but I have no idea if that's what I'll do yet lol
I'd love to write for the Warriors series, but I think I'd like to duck the main books if I could, lol. The output is just too fast. The TB AU isn't perfect by any means, but if I were forced to write at the pace the Erins are at, I'm pretty sure I'd get unbearably sloppy - or I would upset the editors for not working fast enough, lol.
Side note - I know during the early years of the TB AU, I was pretty open about trashing the Erins. I regret that now. A series this big is incredibly difficult to produce and keep things straight - some of those issues are their fault, but I think most of the blame is on their editors and timelines. They're just not given the time or space to really flex themselves, and that's sad.

Spoilers for warriors, asc, book 4 (thunder)
Time for another warrior cats book Review
review under the cut
I know last time I talked about the book I was very negative over it, but I actually finished the book despite being very angry over it and I felt hope over the ending of book 3, i felt hope about squirrelflight becoming squirrelstar and bramblestar stepping down from being leader and how nightheart's family became positive and how sunbeam was getting away from her toxic, Karen of a mother
And before I started reading I was worried they would do some bullshit about how squirrelflight would get taken away and frostpaw would trust splashtail despite how obvious it was that he had tried to murder her, or nightheart would leave sunbeam and she would purposely fail the trials to go home because he wasn't there and go back to a genuinely toxic place where her mom, berryheart would be even worse to her
But I opened the book and was relieved that none of those things happened, squirrelflight became squirrelstar, frostpaw didn't bring splashtail with her and whilst she did get nightheart to help her sunbeam stayed in thunderclan and found her place without him.
And frostpaw wasn't victim shamed! The park cats around her and nightheart reassured her that it wasn't her fault that she trusted splashtail, she wasn't at fault for being attacked by someone she trusted.
Victim shaming is so fucking common in warrior cats it's nauseating (squirrelflights hope, skyclans destiny, spottedleafs heart, the list goes on and on) , it's a breath of fresh air to see a cat who was a victim be told it's not their fault.
Also tree once again being used for his purpose as a mediator is great, in the broken code I was so confused on why he wasn't used to help, his purpose is literally in the beginning of every book (naming all the clans and the cats in those clans) but this book actually remembered that he was created for that purpose, even though the Erin's forgot it's great to see that his role was remembered and used, even if it was added last minute ( seeing that none of the meetings were seen in book) its good for it to even be there at all.
I love that so much, it's like the Erin's are actually listening to their fans for once! I'm so happy to hear that.
I enjoyed reading this, I'm glad I stuck around instead of quitting the series midway through. I'm glad that sunbeam found her place in thunderclan with or without nightheart and stood up for herself instead of letting her mom push her around. The ending left me on a cliffhanger and I'm excited to read the next book when it comes out in April (according to Amazon.) I'm probably gonna pre-order it when it comes closer to the release date. ( In mid March perhaps?)
I have to preorder them on hardcover now because I don't want spoilers ok bye
But I hope the series continues on this route, for the first time since avos I've felt excited to read these books again.
Idk how to rate books, but It's good, I liked it.

Who's your favourite character? For me it's personally Yellowfang but that's most likely because I've only read the first series and I know some other characters that aren't in the first series(due to spoilers) and I wanted to know your opinion, so who's your least favourite, most favourite and the character your kind of just stuck on deciding on?
Yellowfang is an excellent choice, Yellowfang in the first arc is amazing
I’ve said my overall thoughts for the entire series first then a first arc exclusive one below that for you :)
My favourite character is one you know for sure: Brightheart. Then she is shortly followed by a villain from the sixth arc, Darktail. Quite a contrast there lol
My least favourite character is one I’m in a weird place with. Currently it’s the second Tigerstar (or Tigerheartstar as I call him) I hate him, but I probably wouldn’t hate him as much if the books and fandom held him more accountable of his actions. If you want a character I straight up hate no strings attached it would probably be Stick from SkyClan’s Destiny. I used to despise Brambleclaw (Bramblepaw from the first arc - he’s great in the first arc) and I still really dislike him but not quite as much as I once did thanks to a starless clan, but he still very much is probably in third (?) place here on my hated characters list when he used to be number one.
A character I am stuck on deciding on (more than Tigerheartstar) is Skystar, another character you might not know I’m afraid. He’s one of those characters that I really used to despise but now I like him in a “you are the worse but you are fascinating) kind of way.
If I were to narrow things down to first arc cats only based on their actions in the first arc alone then my list would be
Favourite: Brightheart (still lol)
Least favourite: Leopardstar
Stuck on deciding: Nightstar

So about a year or two ago, I was only at the Power of Three arc, and I was researching a character to see when they lived.
I saw a list of characters, and on it I saw ‘Leafstar’ listed and I got so confused, as well as distraught that I spoiled such a cool plot for myself! Leafpool, even after having forbidden kits, will one day become leader?! That’s amazing! I’m so thrilled to read that when I catch up!
Months later I saw ‘Leafstar’ pop up again, this time with ‘Skyclan’ also mentioned. Wow, Leafpool somehow travels to the Skyclan that Firestar brought back, and she becomes leader there? Wow!
Cut forward to now, when I’m reading Skyclan’s Destiny because I realized I missed it (and some other Super Editions) in my read-through.
I’m on Chapter 3 of Skycln’s Destiny now and I can’t believe I’ve strung myself along on a wild goose chase of avoiding fake spoilers for so long! 😅
But now I still want to see Leafpool become the leader of a clan, that plot line would be so amazing!!! Hmmmm…maybe time for an AU?

Hey there!
This is my Warrior Cats blog!
You can call me Chub/Chubfeather or Zen! He/Him
This is kind of a catch all Warriors fanart blog, where I:
-Work on a clangen project, with the tag "Clangen"
-You can send asks to any of the cats in Dawnclan- in fact, please do! I'll try to answer asks moon to moon in case anything... happens!
-Work on my own warriors ocs/story, separate from clangen. One off characters will likely be tagged with their clan, out of "Honeyclan", "Valleyclan", "Webclan", "Flutterclan" and "Meadowclan"
-Draw fanart of characters from the main series! Feel free to request a cat that you want to see me draw up to DoTC! Canon characters will be tagged "Canon Cats"
-Individual cats are usually tagged unless its a mass drawing of 5+ cats, in which case I will usually tag the clan!
-Write fanfic! Usually one offs! This is rarer then art though ^^
-reblog warriors stuff!
Note of which books I've read under the cut! PLEASE avoid sending spoilers for any books outside of those listed, thank you! [TLDR: I've read the main series up to DOTC and a small handful of the super editions]
I have read the main series through Dawn of The Clans. I am currently reading Shattered Sky in A vision of Shadows. Please no spoilers for main series books past Thunder and Shadow !
I have read the following Super Editions:
-Firestar's Quest
-Bluestar's Prophecy
-Skyclan's Destiny
-Crookedstar's Promise
-Yellowfang's Secret
-Tallstar's Revenge
-Mothflight's Vision
I have read the following Manga:
-The Rise of Scourge
-A Thief in Thunderclan
I have read the following Novellas:
-Leafpool's Wish
-Goosefeather's Curse
Once again, PLEASE do not send me spoilers of anything outside of these lists! I am slowly catching up with the books, as I stopped reading at the end of "Omen of the Stars" As a kid! Thanks!

Gray Wing’s Passage
Tumblr media Tumblr media
If you have been scrolling at all recently through any Warrior Cat based Social Media or just looking through the fandom in general, you have probably noticed a reoccurring theme. Most influencers in this fandom and even your average artists and writers have been creating artwork, stories, videos and more celebrating the 20th anniversary of Warriors. As of 2023, Warrior Cats is officially 20 years old with the first book ever of the series “Into the Wild” being published January 21, 2003. In that span of time, 6 other arcs; The New Prophecy, Power of Three, Omen of the Stars, Vision of Shadows, The Broken Code and A Starless Clan have been written and released. Similarly countless super editions such as Firestar’s Quest, Skyclan’s Destiny, Yellowfang’s Secret, Tallstar’s Revenge, Crookedstar’s Promise, Bluestar’s Prophecy, Moth Flight’s Vision, Hawkwing’s Journey, Crowfeather’s Trial, Squirrelflight’s Hope, Leopardstar’s Honor, Onestar’s Confession and many more have been published. Countless novellas also, such as Redtail’s Debt, Tree’s Roots, Leafpool’s Wish, Spottedleaf’s Heart, Pinestar’s Choice, Goosefeather’s Curse, Mapleshade’s Vengeance, Tawnypelt’s Clan, Ravenpaw’s Farewell, Dovewing’s Silence, Hollyleaf’s Story have been written. You may have noticed however that I am leaving out an entire section of Warriors books, having to do with the clans’ history. Don’t fret! I haven’t forgotten and in fact, that arc and subsequent stories are the topic of the piece above.
For those unfamiliar, alongside the main series arc, the Erins published another arc that is considered to be a sequel to the main series. This set of 6 books aimed to tie up missing threads about the clans’ history and was the first books (other than field guides) to speak of the clans origin. The arc I’m hinting to is the ‘Dawn of the Clans’ arc. The first DOTC book, The Sun Trial, was released March 5, 2013, and followed a protagonist never before mentioned in previous books. This protagonist is actually the subject of the piece above; his name is Gray Wing. For context, I will give a quick summary of Gray Wing’s backstory and personality. ⚠️ Spoilers ahead for DOTC and similar novellas and super editions along with some of the field guides ⚠️ According to the Warriors Wiki, “Gray Wing was a member of Windstar's camp in the forest territories. He was born in the Ancient Tribe to Quiet Rain alongside his brother, Clear Sky. When Half Moon spoke of a new home, Gray Wing chose to stay behind; however, after his younger brother Jagged Peak left to follow the group, Gray Wing joined them on the journey. He stayed with Shadowstar's group on the moor and adopted his brother's orphaned son, Thunder. Realizing his brother had changed, Gray Wing cut ties with Clear Sky. Gray Wing and Turtle Tail became mates and he adopted her kits, Sparrow Fur, Pebble Heart, and Owl Eyes. Gray Wing was chosen to lead the group after Tall Shadow, though he decided to co-lead with her following his asthma he developed from a fire. Gray Wing eventually stepped down leading the group following a battle with Clear Sky, and mourned Turtle Tail's death deeply. He helped defeat One Eye and Slash by drawing out battlestrategies, and once his mother died, he left the pines to the moor and became mates with Slate, who had his kits, Black Ear, White Tail, and Silver Stripe. Due to his asthma, Gray Wing passed away after renaming the group to Clans. He ascended to StarClan, watching over his kin, and gave Windstar, Thunderstar, and Blackstar one of their nine lives.”
The scene depicted above, which actually has a speedpaint on YouTube (if you are interested, you can find the link here) was commissioned by a user called TheHeatRush on YouTube. It portrays Gray Wing’s passage to Starclan after his untimely death due to asthma. Honestly, Gray Wing’s death was extremely tragic as not only did he leave his mate who recently had his kits; he also left his brothers, nieces, nephews and adopted children behind. It’s kinda strange actually, as Warriors has kinda a questionable history with adoptions. In POT, when it is revealed that Squirrelflight adopted her sister’s kits, she is treated with disgust and hatred by most of the cats closet to her. Adoption in the main series is almost treated as being taboo and strange, with Thunder preferring to go with his biological father despite he [his father] abandoning Thunder at a young age. But, me and the rest of the team would love to know YOUR thoughts on this matter! Can you believe that Warriors is 20? What’s your opinion on the DOTC arc? What’s your thoughts on Gray Wing? Do you think this series treats adoption correctly? Leave all your thoughts, opinions and feedback in the comments below. Did you like the art style of this piece? If you did, consider leaving a like on the original post on Amino. Supporting the original artist directly benefits this account! This is by motivating more creators to allow us post their work which gives us more content to share with you all. On a similar note, do you want more Warriors centered content? I would recommend joining the Warriors Amino where we have a fun and active community that creates art, writing and more based on the battle cats you know and love!

We fuckin did it boys /finished Firestar's quest/ 🎉
Loved it. Loved the long drawn out details of the patrols, the way Firestar was literally ready to die before he left SkyClan unprotected. Sandstorm being a wife the entire book. She literally saved Firestar’s life knowing how much Rainfur meant to him.
His faith in StarClan shattered only to be restored ten-fold. The way StarClan’s betrayal felt so real, Getting to have closure after Rainfur’s death.. Also love my little leafbabyyy are you kidding. fave. *will do art of her.
I must have missed the part where Firestar only has 6 more lives??? like how the fuck??? Did Scourge’s attack cost him 3??? halp.
Im absolutely going to read SkyClan’s Destiny next,, I’m super attached to the Clan and the characters. Even though I’m aching to start the next arc,, I’ll read this one first.

They give us a Onestar super edition x_x my God, I'd rather have another super edition that retreads over the entire first series again. Or a Reedwhisker super edition, if they won't do Mistystar! I'd even take a Shadepelt super edition...
i got mixed feelings.
i'm upset because between onestar and mistystar, mistystar has a MUCH more interesting story wrt avos (for a super edition). everything is laid out for onestar. the interest in how it happened is kind of...nothing. it'd maybe make for a good novella, but even that is pushing it.
but just because there's low interest doesn't mean it's a bad story: it's a good story, it's just that there are more worthwhile stories to be telling.
on the other hand, i think yearly super editions are a mistake. there just aren't that many interesting stories to tell.
firestar's quest, bluestar's prophecy, and skyclan's destiny are all three stories we had no other way of hearing. fsq and scd are new, and bsp is expanding massively on a very interesting story from forest of secrets.
crookedstar's promise, yellowfang's secret, and tallstar's revenge are all expanding on hypothetical questions about these three figures from tpb. csp adds something that's unnecessary, but that makes a great story edition; yfs adds something that's unnecessary but bad (even if VERY interesting for fic writing purposes); tsr gives us a whole ass new plot to explain something very minor, and the world is better for it.
and then:
bramblestar's storm is a bad book.
moth flight's vision was a great book, we stan an adhd queen.
hawkwing's journey was good, but unnecessary.
tigerheart's shadow is a book i loved but almost no one else did. i mean i can't say i like everything but it's fun read. anyway, overall it had a mixed impact.
crowfeather's trial, from what i've heard, is pretty decent in terms of how it treats characters, but a terrible plot. i refuse to read it, much as i want more of ashfoot.
squirrelflight's hope is the only warriors book i've ever regretted paying money for.
greystripe's vow is for some reason interchangeable in my brain with the greystripe graphic novel. i haven't read either of them, but my brain tells me i have read his super edition, despite it not having been published when i think i've read it, and so i've also read his graphic novel, and wait the point of this wasn't for me to explain my weird quirk about gsv. uh. anyway i think it's kind of neutral: it added good things while having minimal implications for warriors, other than grey being a dick to squirrel for no reason, but that was already in tbc.
leopardstar's honour, based on my first impressions, will be more in line w csp/yfs/tsr, in that it's...expanding on stories we can piece together by ourselves, but hopefully in a new and exciting way.
again i haven't read it yet please don't put spoilers in my inbox. i'm aware i say this every time i talk about this book however every time i haven't, people have. so. don't do that.
what i'm trying to say is most of the recent super editions haven't had a story to tell. oh, they've found a story, but it's not one we would have otherwise cared about. and that's the problem like.
reedwhisker's fantastic, he doesn't have a story. etc.

{I am aware many of you may not know Warrior cats but it's rotting my brain right now so I'm going to explain how the Horrors are similar to the dark forest cats.
1. They were both reborn.
Ok technically all Dark Forest cats are dead but they were still reborn. The Horrors change as a seeming trauma response, that can relate to the Dark Forest cats being killed within the Dark Forest only to wake alive.
2. Their control of their respective forests.
While the Horrors aren't the rulers of their forest they can navigate it through intention and direction. This is the same with the cats in the Dark Forest. They can navigate the forest as though second nature. Though both can obviously get lost.
3. The Wars/ Battles.
In Omen of the Stars the Dark Forest rose to fight and kill the living cats. This parallels with the Horrors War in which Jeff led. Like Jeff and his Generals at the time, the Dark Forest cats brought others into their ranks. Though the Horrors were a lot nicer.
4. The one who doesn't mind the enemy.
Spoilers for the Place of No Stars but in a way Snowtuft is similar to Briar. Both are sort of outliers. They don't just hate humans/ the living because of predetermined biases. They are willing to help, even if it only half benefits them. Also the fans really like them.
5. They purr.
You cannot disprove this.
6. They were something before this.
Human and Ghost Horrors started as Humans, Demon Horrors started as just demons, and Laughing Jack probably wasn't a Horror by birth. Same goes for these cats as they had to die.
7. Destinies and screwed up god's.
Slenderman had screwed over Horrors before and he has destinies seemingly planned for some. I'm not going to list everyway the Warrior cat "gods" have screwed up these cats.
But I will list three examples. Goosefeather. Goosefeather has been able to see and speak with ghosts since he was young. He could also hear prophecies and see the future. They told him he was important. He wasn't... no matter what he tried he couldn't change the future. Under their meddling he lost his family, his friends, even his mind.
Then comes Tigerstar. They tell his dad whose already on the fence about leaving that he has to kill his son. They tell Pine that his son must be killed or their whole world would be in danger. Then they didn't intervene when he was given the most violence prone warrior as his mentor.
Finally Skyclan. They didn't intervene when everyone decided to kick them out and let the humans have the clans land. They even pushed that because their home was taken they should just leave.
That's all}

random but UUUH whered u get that cool pic of all the warriors books, where u kinda can cross of which ones u have? because this is like super handy hwhdjend thank for taking thr time reading this please have a nice day
Here you go! It’s built in part from one I found online that was out of date and separated the novellas and their collected editions into different slots which annoyed me.
Note: this is not in reading or chronological order. You definitely have to read the SkyClan super edition books and comics before you read the aVoS Arc, you definitely shouldn’t read some of the novellas before the books that they spoil, and you definitely shouldn’t read Yellowfang’s Secret cause it sucks.
Tumblr media
Recommended reading order:Warriors- The Prophecies Begin Book 1: Into the Wild Book 2: Fire and Ice Book 3: Forest of Secrets Book 4: The Rising Storm Book 5: A Dangerous Path Book 6: The Darkest Hour Super Edition: Firestar’s Quest Manga: Ravenpaw’s Path (Three books) Super Edition: SkyClan’s Destiny Warriors- The New Prophecy Book 1: Midnight Book 2: Moonrise Book 3: Dawn Manga: Tigerstar and Sasha (Three books) Book 4: Starlight Book 5: Twilight Book 6: Sunset Manga: Winds of Change Warriors- The Power of Three Book 1: The Sight Manga: Graystripe’s Adventure (Three books) Book 2: The Dark River Book 3: Outcast Book 4: Eclipse Book 5: Long Shadows (NOTE: a character named Brightspirit and her parents appear in this book who seem like they are going to be very important. They are actually a one-time tribute to a girl who was a big Warriors fan and her family who died in a tornado in 2008. Its weird and confusing if you don’t know that.) Book 6: Sunrise Novella: Leafpool’s Wish Manga: SkyClan and the Stranger (Three books)
Ok so next are a bunch of prequels that you could read at any point, in any order, but ideally you should read them AFTER The Prophecies Begin book 6 and the SE’s you should read BEFORE the Omen of the Stars book 1 Novella: Mapleshade’s Vengeance Novella: Goosefeather’s Curse SE: Bluestar’s Prophecy SE: Tallstar’s Revenge SE: Crookedstar’s Promise SE: Yellowfang’s Secret (This one really sucks. I don’t recommend reading it at all, way too many major contradictions with the first book)Novella: Cloudstar’s JourneyNovella: Pinestar’s ChoiceNovella: Spottedleaf’s HeartNovella: Redtail’s DebtManga: The Rise of ScourgeNovella: Tigerclaw’s FuryManga: A Shadow In RiverClan
Warriors- Omen of the Stars Book 1: The Fourth Apprentice Novella: Mistystar’s Omen Book 2: Fading Echoes Book 3: Night Whispers Book 4: Sign of the Moon Book 5: The Forgotten Warrior Novella: Hollyleaf’s Story Book 6: The Last Hope
Warriors- Dawn of the Clans (note: this fifth arc is actually a prequel. You could read it now or after everything else) Book 1: The Sun Trail Book 2: Thunder Rising Book 3: The First Battle Book 4: The Blazing Star Book 5: A Forest Divided Book 6: Path of Stars SE: Moth Flight’s Vision Novella: Thunderstar’s Echo Novella: Shadowstar’s Life (back to the main timeline) Novella: Ravenpaw’s Farewell Novella: Dovewing’s Silence Novella: Mothwing’s SecretSE: Crowfeather’s Trial (So, this was written after the next arc and the epilogue comic contains a few spoilers for A Vision of Shadows, but I think it’s kind of necessary to read right after Dovewing’s Silence. The Last Hope suggests Breezepelt finally GETS IT, Dovewing’s Silence suggests he doesn’t, and then if you don’t read this you’ll wonder why he’s not a major villain for the next arc) SE: Bramblestar’s Storm
Warriors- A Vision of Shadows Book 1: The Apprentice’s Quest Book 2: Thunder and Shadow SE: Hawkwing’s Journey Book 3: Shattered Sky Book 4: Darkest Night Book 5: River of Fire SE: Tigerheart’s Shadow Novella: Tawnypelt’s Clan Book 6: The Raging Storm SE: Squirrelflight’s Hope Novella: Tree’s RootsNovella: Pebbleshine’s Kits
Warriors- The Broken Code Book 1: Lost Stars Book 2: The Silent Thaw Book 3: Veil of ShadowsBook 4: Darkness WithinSE: Graystripes VowNovella: Daisy’s Kin Novella: Spotfur’s Rebellion (? Haven’t read it yet. Could be during book 3 or 4)Book 5: The Place of No StarsBook 6: A Light In The MistWarriors- A Starless ClanBook 1: River
Field Guides (probably don’t read these until you’re done with everything else. Ultimate Guide contains spoilers through Dawn of the Clans) 1- Secrets of the Clans 2- Cats of the Clans 3- Code of the Clans 4- Battles of the Clans 1&3: Enter the Clans (This is just a book that combines Secrets of the Clans and Code of the Clans) X: The Warriors Guide (This is just bits and pieces of the other 4 guides) 5: The Ultimate Warriors Guide (The description of what happened to Ashfur is so wrong you should just not even read it.)
Weird online content that has plot holes and doesn’t fit the story at all and basically you just should only read if you accept they’re dumb crap written for children: -The Elder’s Concern (you could be mistaken for believing this is AU fanfiction of the end of book 1. It’s not, its just a mess.) -The Sun Trail: Bright Stream alternate chapter -A Forest Divided: Tall Shadow alternate chapter -Spottedleaf’s Honest Answer -After Sunset: “The Right Choice?” and “We Need To Talk” (actually I really love these) -Brightspirit’s Mercy play- The Clans Decide short story -The first five books in both DotC and AVoS (and presumably TBC) have a bonus chapter. Not all published editions contain the bonus chapter! I had to find the AVoS ones online
Woo! I think I got em all. Sometimes books will have minor to major mistakes that will be really confusing when you come across them. Thankfully the warriors wiki has mostly accurate sections on every book’s page for “Mistakes” because this is a bunch of dumb rushed kids books written by a team of authors with no series bible.
EDIT: Updating this as more books come out. Not sure yet where Blackfoot’s Reckoning, Leopardstar’s Honor, or Winds of Change are gonna go

hey so i tried putting together a reading order for warriors but i wanted some ppls thoughts on it as there’s a lot and i probably got some stuff wrong n i also put some side books as optional/not optional
list under cut
Note: The optional books are placed where they are because they can be read from that point onward without receiving spoilers for the main series. I'd personally recommend leaving them to the end so not to break up the flow of the series, but it's entirely up to you!

Hawkwings journey felt like what the Erins have been wanting to do with the main clans but are being held back by the publisher/editing team so they took it out on a bunch of cats who the publisher did not care if they killed. That being said I loved that book.
I've been thinking about Hawkwing's Journey too and wo spoilers and at chapter 30. just my personal opinion.it feels like a poorly paced book that tries to emulate too much game of thrones and relies on you caring about SkyClan to care about the events tbh and while I do like SkyClan, I can't fully say I cared much about them. There's no real build up to give a damn and if you didn't read SkyClan's Destiny or the manga, you really won't care.
