actually it's kind of funny how people will say Alex's fatal flaw is that he 'doesn't ask for help' and that it's his determination to handle things on his own that leads to his deterioration and eventual death when his whole introduction to the present-day timeline was a very literal cry for help that simply went ignored

Hi, me again. I'm really curious about SEGAU Silver. You said that people with Passive Flow tend to have mind powers (which I assumed would mean Silver because of his psychokinesis) but you said that Silver instead has Hyperactive Flow. What's up with that?

Yes, very good observation !

When I said mind powers, I meant powers that stay internal, so the chaos energy stays in your body instead of being externalized. These included things like : enhanced senses or intuition, energy tracking/dowsing, a strong danger sense, telepathy, mind-reading, etc. Very rarely, you might be able to do the spoon-bending thing with external objects, but only if they come in direct contact with you.

Silver's power may be a mind power of sorts, but it visibly interacts with objects near or far, so it's not internal ! He's sending his energy to other objects and then applying force to move or crush them.

Amy, who is presumed to have Passive flow and can pass as just an exceptionally strong Passive, can do something relatively close to that. What she does is send her energy into objects that she touches ( it's easier with her Piko-piko hammer since it's part of her, I'll explain that next ) to make them stronger. She can't do that with anything she's not touching, though. Presumably she could share power with other people, but that might have adverse effects depending on the person, so I don't think I'd advise it !

About the Piko-piko hammer : that's a chaos object ! Chaos objects are tools you summon, but how do you do that and why are Passives the only ones that can do it ? Simply put, people with Passive flow have an inherently more stable connection to the planet's chaos energy. Through that connection and with their internal power, they can reach into the Chaos Plane ( basically a plane of existence that constitutes the energy fabric of everything, also where Special Stages are located and where deities usually live ), and their subconscious desires shape the chaos into a shape that will aid them. ( Note that just being Passive and having powers is generally not enough to be able to essentially rip a portal into the chaos dimension, you'll need some sort of medium. Chaos emeralds are great at that since they are tied to wishes and the heart in general, but they're definitely not easy to come by. )

For Amy, her chaos object is a hammer ! Chaos objects by definition are fitted to match your talents and intentions.

Fun fact : Sonic's shoes are chaos objects ! But they are also equipped with natural, non-removable inhibitor rings ! Damn, I hear you say, doesn't that go against the definition ? Why does his chaos object hinder him ? Well, I did say they are based on subconscious desires, clearly Sonic's intent is not to hurt people. That, and the planet's chaos energy is still governed by a certain force or will. There's gotta be balance somehow.

Addendum, on the topic of Silver and Hyperactive people especially. I said that that was a rare kind of flow to have, right ?

So Silver is from a really desolate future, and that future has MUCH LESS people than Sonic's time, not to mention barely any vegetation. which leaves a lot of the planet's chaos energy with nowhere to go, because it can't incarnate into a lot of living things. That situation causes people to be born with as much chaos energy as their vessel can handle, which means Hyperactive-flowing people are much more common ! In fact, they would be the most common type in Silver's era, if it wasn't for the high rate of death in infants and the terrible living conditions. So the most common flow category is Active, with Dormant becoming very rare.

Silver's telekinesis isn't an uncommon power at his time. What's rare is to not have any powers at all ! Completely backwards from Sonic's time.

Who do you figure would win, in a fight between Nanu and Archer?

I... Have no idea, actually.

Thing with those two is that they are literally on opposite ends of whatever spectrum you put them on, with small exception of having a Dark-type Pokemon (Archer has though his team based also around TR roster with Zubat and Weezing or Coffing, I don't remember now, while Nanu keeps to Dark type brand on point so tbh even there you could argue they are opposing each other lmao)

But yeah, cats and dogs, police and mobster, Archer is more blue-themed and light and Nanu is black and red all over, Archer is doing his 100% to please Boss (I really can see him as perfectionist) while Nanu doesn't give two fucks and goes take a nap when he can. At the same time Archer is quite sentimental (his whole letter-writing schtick?) while Nanu escapes his past whenever he can until it catches up to him. You could argue that even the way Gio treats them is wildly differing, Archer's unrequited crush but he is number 2 in TR for a reason and he does share office with Gio in LGPE while Nanu and Gio are *points at anime* whatever it was must've been intense but yeah trust what trust.

Winning... in what? xD; In Pokemon battles, I'd side with Nanu with his experience and, well, he is a Kahuna and if needed to, he'd wreck shit up. In a battle not involving Pokemon, I'd side more with Archer. His age is pretty ambiguous (I usually saw him in his mid-30s but he sounds so young in pokemas... Maybe it's deliberate, idk) while Nanu is an old man (ha, another end of spectrum, bc he looks older than he is anyway, which is going opposite Archer imho) so I'd assume Archer could overpower him. In Gio's heart I'd say Nanu is winning. Kind of, because I assume Archer is the one that possesses most of Giovanni's trust... But there are so many things Archer doesn't know about him that Nanu does.

moon deity design for my universe 3 without cape / with cape versions

there isn't much that can be said about this character: they're a genderless deity that doesn't really have concept of gender, neither do they have concept of sexuality or romance. They're the deity Moon Clan praises and they're also their ancestor, but to say that deity themselves represents Moon Clan and their behaviors towards others - would be far from truth. They represent magic, mystery and stand for clear mind(as in mental clarity and not falling prey to illusions, not knowledge tho). By their looks people also tend to associate them with femininity.

Now that you've read through little lore drop - I have a challenge for you. Count all moons, full and crescent, that I've put into this design. Not counting palette. (Feel free not to do that, I just thought that'll be fun)

Cobra Kai made Kreese and Silver complicated and nuanced villains with a rich personal history and distinct, intertwined motivations and philosophies that exactly 0 (zero) of the other characters know anything about, so the rest of the cast pretty much just operates as if they were the one-note militaristic karate heavy/coked-up nuclear waste magnate of the film franchise and I just find that really funny???

The fact that Daniel can leap to the conclusion that Terry had Kreese framed for attempted murder and not once ask the question "why?" when he knows the guy spent months psychologically torturing him on Kreese's behalf years earlier is wild. Daniel is either the most incurious person on the planet or he just operates under the assumption that all Cobra Kai senseis are kinda evil and no more questions need be asked.

(Sidenote: This is why I couldn't enjoy Daniel's "screw you" note in 5x07. All I could think was, "damnit, Daniel, humiliating him in front of Johnny is the exact worst thing to do in this situation, all you're doing is triggering his inner vengeful cobra, this is 100% going to come back to bite you." Does he even get why Kreese hates him? I really wonder...)

Johnny is pretty obtuse, but do you think in the deep, dark hours of the night he stares up at the ceiling and wonders..."Wait.....is Silver, like........jealous of me?" He was there for the weird lover's quarrel!! Does he wonder why Terry was in tears as he proclaimed Kreese WRONG about him being his best student because he's STUPID and he SCREWS UP KIDS right before he ordered his death by karate execution??? I know the answer is that Johnny just refuses to go there in his mind as a justified defense mechanism but man, wouldn't it be interesting if he did?

Can we please have these guys' canonical therapists break doctor-patient confidentiality in S6 and fill the rest of the characters in on the deets just to see their reaction to life debt forged over snake pit as the origins of Cobra Kai?

Honkai Star Rail: Jing Yuan and Kafka.

Tales of Series: Jade Curtiss (Tales of the Abyss) and Rowan (Tales of Xillia/Xillia 2)

It's usually characters that like think 10 steps ahead of the game and have a back-up plan (and several) that I don't think I can write but I love for the element of surprise. Especially if they are like playful/seductive, very intelligent/cunning, or likes to appear unassuming at best, because Jade brain is too pea-size for this big ass strategy game.

I say that as I love trying to plot these kinds of settings where everyone is hiding behind a mask and playing an imaginary game of chess against other people. I think it's cause I feel like I can't be surprising enough or give enough plot twists. Kek.

18. What is one thing you’d wish to see more in the rp community?
