Coming up on next week's episode we have writer Shweta Taneja on the show! She will be talking about her book, the The Matsya Curse: An Anantya Tantrist Mystery. The book is a feminist thriller set in an Indian supernatural world. It's got this kickass female heroine who deals with the city, her personal relationships, her enemies and her self-appointed job as a tantric detective through humour, swagger and a lot of dark mantras. After some thought of how to order the books in my #TBRtalk posts, I finally went with the random option. 🤓 Books today from my TBR are The Jeera Packer by Prashant Yadav and How to Steal a Ghost @ Manipal by Shweta Taneja. . Inspite of having a ban on accepting books for review this year (an attempt at catching up with the TBR), I couldn't say no to #TheJeeraPacker by @pr_ashantyadav. After reading Arnab Ray's #TheSultanofDelhi I'm so in for some more Indian masala drama this year. This is the story of a guy who gives up his evil ways but gets pulled back into it all 30 years later, hired to shoot the CM 🔫. . How to Steal a Ghost @ Manipal by @ShwetaWrites has teenage paranormal investigators, ghost catching retired professors, mysterious murders and the supernatural world. And I've been promised there's no horror in this story 👻😀. . This photo is inspired by all those lovely pictures I've seen that use pages as props.
