Establishing that Minamimoto doesn’t like meat is the bravest thing the twewy sequel could do. This man has FANGS, he is a LION, and he wants his pink stawberry boba or else he will pitch a fit.

Do love how in NTWEWY Fret and Rindo call Sho “Mr. Minami” (was it “Minami-san” in the original Japanese or did they do something else that was then translated that way?) like
I know on a meta level it was probably so that they could talk about him in front of Beat without him picking up on who it was but in the actual context of the events they were experiencing. They met this guy. He was just kinda floating in and out for the week. They gave him a nickname. He went along with it
Did he just not care what they were calling him as long as he got to pick up the extra vibes from Rindo’s time travel? Did some part of him genuinely appreciate being looked up to that way? Did he figure that, yeah, Neku was probably gonna show up at some point, and it’d be better not to be too blatant about the whole ordeal?
And that’s not even getting into the fact that Fret and Rindo looked at this guy they’d known for literally less than a week (cannot emphasize that enough) and said “yeah we can just assign this dude a nickname.” Like the confidence. I could never

It’s Trivia Tidbit Tuesday!
In Episode 6 of The Animation, Minamimoto recites a mnemonic rhyme to remember the digits of pi. In the poem "Sir, I bear a rhyme excelling..." every word has the exact number of letters as a digit of pi!
To illustrate this visually: pi is 3.14159265358979[...] and each word in the poem has the exact number of letters as a digit of pi: Sir (3), I (1) bear (4) a (1) rhyme (5) excelling (9)... and so on!
Compared to the game, he simply recites all the numbers!
