Why can't I hold all these cool stories?

CURRENT CRAVINGS: Please see this GDoc, because I have some plots I’d like to try! I’m primarily interested in original plots and characters; setting them in original worlds or fandom worlds is fine. I am not interested in playing canons other than as side characters/world filler as of right now.

PERSONAL PREFERENCES

I’m over eighteen, and would prefer my partners are, too. This doesn’t mean I’m interested in NSFW-heavy plots; I do not write smut. It just means I’m more comfortable writing and interacting with other adults.

I consider myself to be lit-adv. I tend to enjoy partners in the lit+ category, but as long as you’re an enthusiastic and engaging partner, I don’t care about perfect grammar. I would rather write with someone just as involved and excited as I am, than I would with someone who isn’t very engaging but knows exactly what to do with obscure punctuation.

I’m not interested in playing only one type of character or playing against only one type of character. I typically don’t enjoy writing with people who are only interested in playing one type of relationship dynamic or one kind of character (such as only m/f, playing the female, or m/m, playing the “bottom”). I have no problem with these dynamics or characters at all, nor do I have an issue playing against them. I just prefer more variety, compromise, and opportunity.

OOC chatter is really important to me. I can’t write with someone that I don’t feel like I can get to know. I’m looking for friends, not a faceless reply robot. I won’t communicate over any medium but Discord. I’ve tried Kik, Hangouts, etc.; they just don’t stick for me. If you would prefer first contact be through email, you can shoot me a quick message and your handle to [email protected].

I’m fine with threading in a GDoc or a server, but I will not thread over DMs. It’s difficult to have OOC chatter and the thread over the top of each other.

If you’re looking for a partner that writes a reply a day without fail, that’s not me. I prefer that we don’t have “posting schedules” or set posting times, because I find that it turns writing into a chore. It’s great if you reply immediately, and it’s totally okay if you need a week to figure something out! You’re absolutely free to poke me. I’m not always the most mindful. However, I’m not going to reply every day. Three to four times a week is my frequency.

PLOT PREFERENCES

I’m interested in both fandom and original settings, and I’m down for playing both canon characters and OCs. I don’t necessarily prefer one or the other.

I definitely prefer canon doubling from my partners in fandom plots; I mesh better with people who do a little give-and-take when it comes to that. If you only play one canon character or only play OCs against canons and won’t play canons, I don’t think we’ll work.

I can play as many characters as needed, whether it’s just one or it’s six. Whatever our story calls for, I can manage that. In fact, I would love to play multiple “main” pairings so we can both get what we want, versus a single main pairing (unless it’s a pairing/dynamic we both like equally well). I find more than one facet to a plot really interesting, and multiple characters helps flesh out a story’s dimensions.

I’m absolutely interested in joining groups, so please don’t be shy about asking me to participate in plots with more than two players. So long as they don’t involve me writing sexual NSFW, we’re Gucci; everyone else writing NSFW isn’t a deal breaker for me.

Multiple threads and plots at the same time are no issue for me. In fact, I love the idea that we click so well that we just can’t stop coming up with good ideas! So definitely don’t be afraid to pitch something new to me, whether it’s because you want to switch gears (and drop a thread for another), or want to do everything at once.

Romance is a must for me! I prefer slow and agonizing journeys to get there, but my attention is best held by romantic chemistry between characters.

I can provide writing samples upon request, though I never require them from my partner. Additionally, I have some plots written out if you’re interested in that sort of thing. Otherwise, we can brainstorm together!

I’m very much a fandom player. I’m always down for AUs, or inserting our own characters into the plots of fandoms! This is in no way a complete list; never be afraid to ask if I’m into something! I’ve probably forgotten a hundred things I love.

PERSONAL PREFERENCES

I consider myself to be lit-adv. I tend to enjoy partners in the lit+ category, but as long as you’re an enthusiastic and engaging partner, I don’t care about perfect grammar. I would rather write with someone just as involved and excited as I am, than I would with someone who isn't very engaging but knows exactly what to do with obscure punctuation.

OOC chatter is really important to me. I can’t write with someone that I don’t feel like I can get to know. I’m looking for friends, not a faceless reply robot. I won’t communicate over any medium but Discord. I've tried Kik, Hangouts, etc.; they just don't stick for me. If you would prefer first contact be through email, you can shoot me a quick message and your handle to [email protected].

I’m fine with threading in a GDoc or a server, but I will not thread over DMs. It’s difficult to have OOC chatter and the thread over the top of each other.

If you're looking for a partner that writes a reply a day without fail, that's not me. I prefer that we don't have "posting schedules” or set posting times, because I find that it turns writing into a chore. It's great if you reply immediately, and it's totally okay if you need a week to figure something out! You’re absolutely free to poke me. I’m not always the most mindful. However, I’m not going to reply every day. Three to four times a week is my frequency.

PLOT PREFERENCES

I’m interested in both fandom and original settings, and I’m down for playing both canon characters and OCs. I don’t necessarily prefer one or the other.

I can play as many characters as needed, whether it's just one or it's six. Whatever our story calls for, I can manage that. In fact, I would love to play multiple “main” pairings so we can both get what we want, versus a single main pairing (unless it’s a pairing/dynamic we both like equally well). I find more than one facet to a plot really interesting, and multiple characters helps flesh out a story’s dimensions.

Multiple threads and plots at the same time are no issue for me. In fact, I love the idea that we click so well that we just can't stop coming up with good ideas! So definitely don't be afraid to pitch something new to me, whether it's because you want to switch gears (and drop a thread for another), or want to do everything at once.

Romance is a must for me! I prefer slow and agonizing journeys to get there, but my attention is best held by romantic chemistry between characters.

I can provide writing samples upon request, though I never require them from my partner. Additionally, I have some plots written out if you're interested in that sort of thing. Otherwise, we can brainstorm together!

Sansa passed Loki a cup of tea and looked at him carefully.

He wasn’t fine. At all.

That much was obvious to her, and it made her wonder how Thor could have missed that. But then again, her opinion of the prince of Asgard wasn’t that great in general.

“I still miss the red hair.” Loki told her. “But the blonde is better than that dark brown from before.”

Sansa rolled her eyes. “We’re not here to discuss my hair color, Loki.”

“I guess we’re not.” He sighed, then stalled by drinking his tea.

Sansa didn’t say anything, just waited him out.

“Was it bad?” He asked. “Seeing Thor again?”

She shrugged. “I don’t care much for your brother.” She reminded him. “But at least it wasn’t your father.”

“Not my father, apparently.”

Sansa’s eyebrows hit her hairline. “What?”

Loki sighed once again and told her what he’d found out.

“I’m sorry, Loki.” She was frowning by the end of his story. “I’ve always known he was a prick, but this?”

“He hid it from me.” Loki spoke softly. “They all did.”

“Do you think…” She paused. “Do you think knowing would’ve made a difference?”

“I’ve always felt like I didn’t belong.” He reminded her. “Maybe that was why.”

“I mean… The reason you felt like you didn’t belong was because you didn’t act like and idiot every time you saw a sword.” She pointed out. “And because you actually knew how to use your brain.”

Loki snickered. “I’ve missed you so, Sansa.”

“You’ve already said that.”

“Well…” He got a hold of her hand. “It is the truth.”

Asgard, 50 years ago…

The Lannisters had taken Winterfell through treachery. They’d stabbed the Starks on the back, and Sansa -young and foolish -had been one of the pawns they’d used to get it done.

She’d thought she was in love with Joffrey, thought he’d loved her as well, but he was only using her.

They united with the Boltons and killed her family. Her parents were dead. Robb was dead. Rickon and Bran were missing, and so was Arya. She was alone.

She’d barely escaped with her life, and only arrived in Asgard by a miracle and with the help of the only person who’d still tried to protect her -Brienne.

But now she was here, she’d finally got an audience with Odin. He’d help her.

He had to.

“I cannot interfere with political matters in Vanaheim.”

“My…” Sansa couldn’t have heard it right. “My lord?”

“I cannot -in good conscience -intervene in a territory that is not directly under my control.” Odin repeated calmly, like this was nothing to him.

“You gave the territory to my father, my lord.” Sansa pressed. “They were all murdered, we were betrayed.”

“I feel for you, child. I truly do.” He didn’t seem to. Not really. “But when your father chose to leave Asgard and renounce his vow as my bannerman, he knew the risks. There is nothing I can do.”

There was and they all knew that. That was why the court was silent, that was why Freya wasn’t there for this.

He didn’t want to help her, because her father hadn’t wanted to be in Asgard anymore, for reasons that Sansa didn’t even know!

She turned her eyes to Thor -since Loki also wasn’t there -but he was looking at the floor. He wouldn’t even look at her.

They had been forsaken.

“Have you been good today?”

Loki defiantly tilted his chin up. “I’m the God of Mischief. I’m never good.”

“Loki.” Sansa chided softly.

He pressed his lips together, not saying anything else.

“I’ve missed you today.” Sansa finally said. “Haven’t you missed me?”

His shoulders sagged. “I have.”

“Then why won’t you come here?” She asked softly.

There was just a small hesitation before he moved to where she was sitting. Loki lowered himself next to Sansa, then leaned against her shoulder.

When she put her arm around his waist, Loki melted against her, letting her cuddle him to her side.

“Much better, uh?” She said gently.

“Yes.” He confessed.

“You don’t need to fight against this, Loki.” She pressed her lips to his forehead. “I don’t need you to be perfect, I need you to be open.”

He sighed. “I don’t like feeling like I’m needy.”

Sansa hummed, her free caressing his jaw. “You’re not needy. You’re mine, and I’ll gladly take care of you.”

Natasha had been watching Thor closely since this whole thing started. All the Avengers had come to the understanding that the god of thunder wasn’t telling them the whole truth about this situation with Sansa Stark.

Tony -being Tony -wanted to ask what was the deal with the girl, but Natasha had convinced him to wait a bit.

Thor was taking them to meet her, and Nat wanted to observe this girl before pressing Thor for more information.

They hadn’t informed SHIELD about her yet, because Thor asked them to wait. Bruce had asked to skip this one and Clint had also said he wouldn’t come. (Nat didn’t hold it against him, he obviously wanted to go home and see his family).

Therefore, Nat, Steve, Thor and Tony got into a jet and went to Paris, the place where Thor was ‘pretty sure’ Sansa would be.

“How do you know where she is?” Tony asked.

“Loki brought her here 50 years ago.” He explained. “Heimdall told me where she was once.”

“If he knew where she was, she wasn’t actually hiding.” Tony pointed out.

“It’s a bit more complicated than that. She wasn’t actually hiding.”

Nat gave him a hard look. “At some point, you better explain this properly.”

Thor sighed, then looked around. “This place.”

It wasn’t what Natasha had been expecting. It actually was… A really expensive store. One she knew well.

“Alayne Stone.” She read the name on the sleek fronto. She turned to Thor. “The fashion designer?”

“You know of her.” He sounded surprised.

Anyone who didn’t live under a rock knew about Alayne Stone. “Her brand is extremely exclusive; her clothes are fought over by celebrities.”

“Pepper loves her.” Tony piped up. “But she died, didn’t she?”

“Yes, some years ago. It was old age, they said.”

Thor shook his head. “I don’t think so. Probably Sansa just realised that, as a human, she couldn’t stay young for that long.”

“Did she have an heir?” Steve asked.

“She passed the control of her brand to a protegee. A girl named Cat Tully.” Natasha informed them.

Thor smiled sadly. “I see. Let us go and talk to her.”

The other Avengers exchanged looks, but followed Thor inside the store.

The girl who came to greet them looked in shock once she recognized them all. Tony gave her his best ‘I’m really rich’ smile, and asked to talk to Cat Tully.

The girl sputtered before running off somewhere. She came back, all smiles and politeness and asked them to follow her.

They were taken to the back of the store, and finally to what looked like an office.

There was a young woman there. Her hair was platinum blonde and her eyes were like ice. She gave one look at them, then scoffed. “And my day was going so well.”

Thor cleared his throat. “Hello, Sansa.”

“Your Highness.” She said mockingly, without even getting up from her chair. “Or should I say ‘Majesty’? Is your father still around?”

Natasha exchanged a look with Tony, and they all decided to remain quiet. There was a lot of hostility there.

“Yes.” Thor replied.

She tsked. “Pity.”

Thor took a deep breath in. “Sansa, we need your help.”

“I pass.” She said easily, her eyes going to the phone in her hand.

Thor didn’t give up. “Do you know where Loki is?”

“I haven’t seen him in a long time.” She informed him without even looking up.

“Are you telling the truth?”

She finally looked at him, clearly bothered by his existence. “Oh piss off, Thor.”

“Sansa.”

She rolled her eyes. “Even if I knew where he was, which I don’t, why should I tell you?”

Thor was getting frustrated, and Natasha was wondering if she should interfere. “Haven’t you seen the news? What Loki has done to New York?”

She arched an eyebrow. “So?”

“Many people were hurt.”

Something snapped in the woman. So far she’d remained calm and cool, like she couldn’t care less about them. She hadn’t even acknowledged the others. However, whatever she heard on Thor’s words, made her lose her cool.

She got up and slapped her hands on the table. The air crackled with electricity around them. No, not electricity.

Magic.

“Don’t you dare talk to me about people getting hurt, Thor Odinson.” She hissed, her eyes like a cold desert.

“Sansa.” Thor put his hands up.

“Get out.” She demanded, glass around her office exploding.

Yes… It was time to leave.

Natasha put a hand on Thor’s shoulder. “We’re at a disadvantage here. We’ll come back later.” She whispered to him.

Thor sighed, and once again looked at Sansa. “If you change your mind…”

Her glare could have killed him. “I won’t.”
