HARSH criminal minds rant... Again

I know you guys are probs sick of me...

BUT Spencer Reid friendships feel so forced in criminal minds. They know that actual friends don't treat each other like that but they kinda just ignore it and go "Spencer and JJ are best friends" in the later seasons yet they have NO PROOF that these two even fw each other like that

If you're gonna write two ppl as best friends they should have chemistry. I should be able to look at two ppl and know they are bff's just by one scene and they are NOT that...

They tried to be like "see he's not lonely" after all they put him through but it feels like the type of "friendship" where your friends is constantly telling you abt their life about their problems but the moment you tell them anything it's just "real" or "cool" so...

If anything Penelope was closest to him?? Later seasons just have general poor writing. We've seen him grow up with this team.. we KNOW these ppl aren't his real friends and we know damn well JJ was not in love with him.. like... Common now. (I choose to pretend later seasons don't exist)

Hello! Since i now have a little over 1k followers on here (not that a lot them probably aren’t bots lol) I thought I’d make a little ‘about me’ post ☺️ a lot of this will just be random/vague bc I still don’t want anyone I know to find me on here😅

Thinking about Abigail crying and begging John not to go after Micah, Charles questioning if revenge is what Arthur would have really wanted for them, Sadie second guessing if going after bounties is the right thing for John because of how much he has at stake, John still making it rain bullets on Micah even after Dutch had shot him first.

Did the revenge really make John feel better, after putting everything he'd worked for on the line? Does he know deep down that it wasn't what Arthur would have wanted? I think about it a lot

yknow when a story has a group of male buddies and the bad guy kills a bunch of them so the survivors go on a vengeful rampage... Where are the wives and girlfriends and mothers and daughters and platonic female besties who are just as willing to pick up a weapon and avenge the men they lost?

this should be more common and i want to call it the "Ross Adler Effect" after Mattie Ross (True Grit) and Sadie Adler (Red Dead Redemption 2): One female character (at least) who takes a second to process how her life has changed before pulling up to the gang like "you don't get to say I can't come too."

I'm tired of media perpetuating the idea that the convictions of a fictional guy's male friends/relatives constantly matter more than those of his female friends/relatives

Possible controversial Red Dead Redemption 2 topic. Brace yourselves.

SPOILERS BELOW!!!

When Molly gets taken down by Miss Grimshaw, at the start of chapter 6, you’ll get to walk around the camp and talk to members of the gang and hear their responses to how they feel about Molly‘s departure, and by what Molly told Dutch and the gang about her “betrayal”.

There’s one particular member of the gangs response that always bothered me or rubbed me the wrong way and that was Sadie’s. Only because when we meet Sadie in chapter 1 through chapter 6, we don’t see any interaction between her and Molly so for her to have such strong hate towards Molly and her death makes little to no sense to me. Everybody else in the gang makes sense because they’ve known Molly for few months to a few years. I mean hell, Mary-Beth and Karen felt bad for Molly‘s death. Karen, who, often got into arguments and physical fights with Molly, got into a screaming match with Miss Grimshaw over killing Molly and calling Miss Grimshaw a murderer, because she knew that Molly wasn’t a rat, and that Molly was simply in love.

When we rescue John from Sisika Penitentiary, Sadie calls Molly a bitch (“The bitch”) due to ratting on the gang. Which, of course, later in the chapter we find out that Molly was not the rat, it was Micah, Molly only said that to get Dutch’s attention and possibly just get herself killed. I don’t know. We don’t fully know what was going on in Molly‘s headspace besides her being drunk and a woman betrayed by someone who she loved. I failed to record it, but when I was walking around the camp, Sadie had mentioned that Molly got what she deserved, and that Miss Grimshaw did the right thing, only adding on to my confusion as to why she’s so bitter.

In Sadie defense, I get it because she’s a part of the gang now, and she’s loyal to some of the gang members who she cares about. This is her new family now, considering what happened to her husband. Members such as Arthur, Abigail, John, Jack, and Charles. I can’t really speak on everybody else because it’s not really shown throughout the story as strongly as everyone else mentioned a sentence ago. And for someone to rat on the gang meant you had to go (by death or kicked out). I’d like to point out that Arthur didn’t want Molly to be killed, he wanted her to be tossed out simply because she had gone crazy, and when we play as Arthur, it shows that even he doesn’t fully believe that she ratted on the gang. 

In some ways, I wish that rockstar had made some conversations between Molly and Sadie, to which Sadie could talk to Molly about her husband. Telling Molly about how a real man shows his love and devotion to his woman. That way that could be something they could bond over. Maybe that could’ve been the driving force to make Molly realize that Dutch never really loved her. Molly could’ve lived instead of died, and she could’ve escaped the gang and moved on somewhere else to live a better life instead of what she got in the end. I just don’t agree with Sadie emotions/behavior (I don’t know how to word it) towards Molly considering they had little to no interaction with each other.

Am I overthinking this??? Also, I’d like to point out that this is not me hating on Sadie in no way, shape or form. I just want to put that out there for all the Sadie lovers. I love her too, but I had to put that out there.

Hey y’all can we please not be mean to neil gaiman? He’s doing his best and being very nice to us. He’s just one guy and a real person.

Just because we’re upset at the ending of episode 6, doesn’t mean we get to attack the wonderful people who made it.

It was beautifully done and he has told us time and time again that this was a lead up to what was planned long ago. Trust them all to get us there even if it’s not in the way we expect.

I get you’re mad. But we ate this season and we should be grateful that it exists at all. They didn’t have to give us more. Please be kind.

god i rlly hate 80% of male rdr fans bc no matter what content you’re on there’s at least 6 of them in the comments saying arthur is jack’s real dad (….. 😐) and sadie was an idiot for still loving her dead husband and not trying to get with arthur bc of course a woman can’t just be friends with a dude who just so happens to be dying and gave up on love after his own ex. these men have never known friendship with a woman actually much less the touch of one

i will never stop screaming my lungs out abt how sadie doesn’t need any man, and as much as i love arthur, i certainly don’t think he’d be good for her. the worst thing rockstar could’ve done to her is make her in any way dependent on a man a few months after the tragic and gruesome loss of her entire life. she doesn’t need anyone else to make her happy and she herself is insistent abt how her goals have changed with her. but of course men see a woman utterly shaped by grief not just of her husband but of who she was her entire life, thrust into a situation where she can either kill or be killed, decide to dedicate her life to making sure no men like the o’driscolls ever hurt another woman the way they hurt her… and men see all that and insult her for not jumping on the nearest dick.

bc god forbid a woman’s in a man’s story as anything but a despondent love interest or a recurrent fuck, right 😀 it’s not at all like rockstar wanted to give us an independent, strong and self-focused female gunslinger with high honour who represents the casualties of all the murders men like dutch and arthur commit and dedicates her life to ending that type of cruelty. nope not at all. if woman and man get along then they must be secretly in love that’s biology baby
