Im literally so obsessed with Rebels' storytelling regarding Ezra and Lothal. How animals, locals, even the geography itself is essential to the cause of the Rebellion. How pushing back against tyranny goes hand in hand with working with the environment and your community. How hyperspace is just a glimpse of the inherent connection between and inside all living things and places. And it even goes beyond Lothal; we see it with the Purrgil and the Lasat elders finding their way to their new (original) home. Not only is it great worldbuilding (universebuilding, really), it's also great character development and relationship analogy.

So I was watching rebels and my dad was in the room and it was the part where Ezra meets Sabine’s dad and is blubbering on all, yeah I’m with her, not with her with her, we’re just friends, and my dad was like

It amuses me when people are baffled how Jacen Syndulla exists considering Kanan and Hera were only admiting their feelings for one another in the final season and only right before Kanan died.

The simple answer is, is that Kanan and Hera were already in an established relationship in the first season. You can tell by how they talk to one another and how they interact with one another.

There is no reason to be baffled by this. They were already a couple in Spark of Rebellion but kept their relationship quiet and downplayed it in front of others.

(Also, Thrawn knew because he threatened to kill Kanan first when he surrounded them when they were fleeing Atollon. He knew that would hurt Hera the most. He went straight to Kanan and no one else.)

If I had anywhere near the motivation to write fic I think the one I would go for first would be Cal Kestis and Kanan Jarrus running into each other and just having a big long talk about Everything. I definitely feel like they’re close enough in age to have been in like. Jedi algebra together, and especially with Cal in survivor they have very different approaches to surviving and operating after the purge. They also just both need to talk about it with someone who Gets It I think.

Sorry but if you genuinely "can't stand Rebels' art style, I just can't watch it", you are weak. Sorry that some cartoons look different than other cartoons, but this show genuinely has substance and quality themes.

ahsoka will always care for anakin, she will always grieve for him, she will always love him.

she feels so guilty for leaving the order. for leaving him. her line in rebels of "you cant save your master, and I cant save mine" will forever stick with me.

anakin was a constant in ahsokas life, in TCW every time she reached out to the force he was there his presence was there to comfort her, we see it in the S7 finale when she reaches for him in comfort only to be met with this cold, dark, unforgiving presences instead.

Anakin showing up now in the world between worlds where the force resides, just like in Mortis, is giving her the closure, the peace she needs. The healing that was never given to her younger self.

I need Anakin to explain, to comfort her that it wasn't her fault.

Ahsoka will forever be Anakins padawan even if it has been 25 years
