could you write something about Feyd and Rabban competing for reader's affection?

It's a dream scenario... at least until you actually partake in it. None of Harkonnen brothers is willing to give up and they both are able to almost everything to gain advantage.

(By the way, in this scenario they both fell for you, but it would be possible that one seduces you just to piss off the other; it would be more likely that Feyd tries to win over Rabban's crush just to assert his dominance. Or perhaps Rabban tries to take Feyd's partner to get a revenge for Arrakis and also to at least this time not be the second, worse brother)

They are both rather straightforward but still their methods are a bit different.

Feyd would be more subtle and strategic. He would observe and listen to you to find out what you like and to know more about you. All these informations help him to give you things you may like or to randomly mention some facts you told him to prove that he cares. He doesn't hide his intention to seduce you but he's more subtle in his approach. He tries to use his charm and sweet words to convince you to him. He also invites you to watch his fights because he also wants to impress you with his fighting skill (and he would be happy if you enjoyed the murder as much as him). Feyd is likely to send servants to observe you and tell him what you're doing, whom you're meeting and what you're talking about (as i said, he has yandere tendencies). If there's a need, he will try to manipulate you into a relationship.

Not saying that Feyd's methods are much better but Rabban is more honest. Or simply not concerned with subtlety nor formalities. He tries to impress you by showing his strength and bragging about his power. He spoils you with gifts, not necessarily connected with your interests, he rather chooses things representing luxury and wealth he can give you. He may get a bit touchy - nothing too far but Rabban often puts his hand around your waist or on your thigh or he randomly lifts you up to show his strength (i am sorry, me and my friends sometimes lift each other for fun but now i imagined that considering size difference with Rabban it may look like that scene from lion king and it's too funny. I may draw it one day). He also wants to suggest that he can make you happy but uhhh idk if talking about his previous romances (with all intimate details) is a good way to do it.

Their rivalry goes on behind your back as well and it's even more ruthless. They threaten each other both with violence and blackmailing, there's also perhaps a few physical fights.

At one hand, they both often make sure that you aren't alone with the other. At the other hand, you can't spend time with them both at once because of the tension. They try to stay calm and make good impression but sooner or later (usually sooner) there starts a little squabble. They start mentioning each other failures or embarassing memories. After some time Rabban can't control himself and starts yelling, meanwhile Feyd-Rautha looks coldly at him as if he barely holded himself back from murdering Glossu.

By the way, of course Baron would quickly notice this competition but he wouldn’t interfere as long as the situation isn't out of control and as long as brothers' fight for your feelings doesn't disrupts his plans. Moreover, he may even use this occasion to turn them against each other even more and manipulate, perhaps promising help in winning your affection.

No matter which one you choose, the other one is P I S S E D. Probably they won't try again after you rejected them and hurt their pride (unless...?). Rabban will just be bitter and angry seeing you with his brother, he may start avoiding you or lash out when you meet. Feyd-Rautha on the other hand will just claim that you have bad taste and it's your loss, but he still becomes cold and distant. He may plot a way to take a revenge on you.

Also, you can't choose both. Both are pretty possesive and wouldn't share you, especially with each other. And if you don't want any of them? You are fucked. They reconcile temporarily just to get a revenge on you for rejecting them.

A wistful sigh falls past your lips as you begrudgingly tear your focus away from the training grounds and direct it to the scalding coffee at hand, though it takes but two mere two seconds before you find your eyes darting to the open window yet again– skimming over the many heads out there– wanting to find only one blond head– heart beating far too many beats when you hear the name of its owner being yelled out once again—

The utterance of your title in court drags you away from your frantic search, to the mildly smiling face of the princess: Sleepy, yes– But a lot more awake than she was five minutes ago. You rush to offer her your greetings, only to stop when she lifts a finger and tilts her head to the side, brows furrowed a pinch.

"That was Kento's name being hollered, wasn't it, Petals?"

You aren't certain which infuriates you more— that the princess used your childhood nickname well into your adulthood– or that she called Knight Nanami by his first name, a privilege he is known to grant to a very select few—

Compelling your face to shift into a smile, you nod. "I'm afraid it was, Your Highness."

"And was it yet another lady cheering for his victory in a match, huh?" she queries, kicking the covers off her feet and landing onto the floor with a loud thud. Wincing lightly, you quickly shake your head 'no'.

"It wasn't, Your Highness. The voice sounded much like Lord Haibara."

A quiet hum comes in response to your observation– soon shadowed over by the off-key singing of rather... indelicate songs, you're certain no one of an upbringing as royal and guarded as your princess should know— before the lyrics pause– all of a sudden– the moment she sits down at the table and looks out the window.

At the ongoing duel between Nanami and Geto, swords clanging and their bare chests shining in the early morn sun.

The very sight making every drop of blood in your vessels to rush to your cheeks, flooding them with colour– whilst your gaze roves with no trace of shame over the well-built physique of the solemn blond– lingering in particular on the toned muscle of his arms and forearms, flexing and extending as his fingers grasp the hilt of the weapon and the muscles in his legs strain against the tight fabric of his slacks, as the knight moves in a spell-binding dance of danger and tact against his opponent.

A huff of a chuckle escapes you when the former lands a solid hit on the latter; no one can match him in his prowess at wielding a sword; making a tendril of pride unfurl in the centre of your chest, only for it to shrivel in the heat of envy the princess' chortle ignites in that very same place.

You make no efforts to stop the words tumbling out your mouth next. Nor the tense frown which nestles into your tinted lips, throwing your face into lines and ridges.

"Is Lord Nanami courting you, Your Highness?"

"What!?!?" Not even an instant elapses before the exclamation leaves your listener. You continue, pretending to be unperturbed by the way innumerable shades of shock and incredulity colour her countenance.

"I mean, you call him by his first name, and he too does the same for you. Besides, the both of you have often been spotted to be strolling in the gardens together, easily chatting and smiling... not to mention the ball held last winter solstice when you two entered the ball, side-by-side— it is not only me who me who wonders so, milady," you add when you notice her back straigthening and she returning the cup to the saucer, "The court is rife with suppositions, on the nature of your relationship with Lord Nanami."

A beat passes in tense silence in response to your expressed musings— before the hush is disrupted by a very grave-sounding query, from the lady across. "What do you look for in a future life partner, Petals?"

"Me?" you ask, index finger pointed at yourself.

The princess gives a nod. "Yes, you, Your Grace."

Your nose wrinkles at such ill-considered usage of such high-ranking titles— nevertheless, you find yourself brushing those concerns away to mull over much more important matters...

A good while passes before you form a reply. Focus zeroing on a tiny coffee stain on your dress, you begin.

"Someone who is calm and collected, stoic and serious. He should be strong too, not just in brawn but in brain and matters of heart as well. He must be strict and disciplined, but must have a gentle, caring side to him too. Won't hurt if he's a traditional romantic, giving me flowers and sweet compliments instead of the terrible comments men say to the ladies these days. And..."

You trail off, losing yourself in your mind, before resuming, in a muted murmur this time, "It might be really nice if he lets me be of those few who can call him by his name– and he becomes comfortable enough, to call me by my name. And accompany me on walks in the garden in the afternoons. And perhaps, even, ask me to the balls where we may wear matching outfits, and present ourselves as a couple before all."

A hand comes to rest over your folded ones. You look up to find a bit too wide smile resting on the princess' lips. She offers your hands an easing squeeze.

Little does she know it does little to ease your turbulent emotions— a feeling which worsens with the observations she voices to you next.

"I was terrified your beautiful mind was tainted by the disease of idle inquisitiveness, as happens to most in this world with age, you know," she hums, standing up and making you sit in her chair, "I'm very glad to conclude, that's not quite the case. However– I cannot say your so lovely mind is disease-free either, my sweet Petals."

Your brows gather together in confusion as you peer at her, eyes in a narrow stare. She continues– smile growing a touch of tenderness.

"Your mind has been afflicted with the awful ailment of lovesickness. And–" she says, putting greater emphasis on her syllables, when you attempt to protest her statement, "it is usually incurable, unless very great feats of bravery are performed by the patient themselves, or in the off-chance, the fates decide to be helpful and the person behind the mess makes the first move— but I must say, Your Grace, you are very lucky to have me as your consulting physician— for I know what will provide you interim relief until either of them happens— want to know what it is?"

You take a moment to consider before returning a slow, unsure nod.

The princess beams. "It's the knowledge of the fact, there's someone who matches every criteria you mentioned, to a T— and that– he has his eyes reserved for none, except one beautiful lady-in-waiting, who stares at the training ground from the windows of the princess' room every single morning— looking as fresh and vibrant as the nickname, the princess insists on calling her."

Your friend pauses for a beat— not that you really notice it over the thrum of your blood in your ears and your heart in your chest— she inquires, "You understood the prescription, didn't you, Petals?"

A high-pitched squeal– so unseemly, so embarrassed, so jubilant– is the only response you manage, retreating into the cushion, hiding the warmth of your face and the stretch of your smile behind your palms.

If I may could I request a Ciel Phantomhive x Cruella De Vill reader? I mean not exactly like Cruella but the fact she was born with hair spilt between black and white, she owns multiple Dalmatians which are really aggressive guard dogs for her. And she has a wonderful sense of fashion, even though most her clothes are only black, white or red. She even has a nickname that combines her name and Cruel together (like “Cruel-(/N)”) because she can be really honest and it comes off as rude. She is short temper but unlike Cruella she is only occasionally sassy but most of the time she is quiet because she used to get made fun of for her hair.

Reluctantly, Ciel was participating in the celebration. A glass of juice in his hand as he watched each of the nobles approach the throne, kneel and say their rehearsed congratulations. "Your hat is adorable" You say in a loud and clear tone, with the sweetest smile you can produce. "I'm sure it was worth sacrificing Big Bird, its poor beautiful yellow feathers wasted on this hat that perfectly fit your head."

A murmur starts around the two of you, some are laughing loudly, others are whispering among themselves, repeating what you said. The duchess, wanting to appear strong and resilient, fixes her khaki yellow hat - that barely fits in her head, lifts her chin an extra millimeter and leaves. However, Ciel knew that your comment would still haunt her for months to come. Today she had lost a fight and was insulted.

Undeniable was that the hat was horrendous.

Holding back a laugh that seems to want to escape him anyway, Ciel takes off his hat in greeting to you as soon as your eyes meet. He understood now why everyone was talking about you so much. ALL ABOUT TAURUS ASCENDANT

Vertin during part 2 of Green Lake.

I love her dynamic with Jessica! When she's with Jessica, you can see both her playful side and her parental side.

Vertin calls Jessica before her exams to check up on her. She is relieved when Jessica isn't anxious. Vertin seems more anxious than Jessica, who picks up on this and asks her about it. It's precious.

Vertin kept Sonetto's notebook from their school days. She used Sonetto's notebook to help her study and stay out of the guardhouse. She lets Jessica borrow them. It appears after the break away event they punished Vertin with the guardhouse treatment for not doing well on her homework or exams. Before the break away event it was only used for “correcting behavior” (according to what we see anyway). This makes Vertin’s later punishments feel like targeted attempts to harass her since her arcanum is weak and she was not a good student.

Vertin is constantly negotiating with the Foundation to make Jessica more comfortable and to give her leniency. The instructor goes as far as calling it “special treatment”.

Vertin stopped the Foundation from using “fasting” and “grounding” as punishments (flashbacks to guardhouse).

Vertin asks about how things are going/doing for Jessica in every call. Priorities. The Foundation isn't allowed to bully her little bambi! I think Vertin is scared they're going to hurt Jessica the way they hurt her as a child. She's very on top of things when it comes to her crew.

Also, we see her hide her face a lot. She's always done that when she feels negative emotions throughout main story but here she does it whenever she "fails". As in, she failed to give Jessica the best life she could. She does the hat tilt when Jessica expresses unhappiness, longing, or loneliness. Vertin takes her feelings more seriously than she does her own smh. I think my HC of Vertin going out of her way for her crew as a provider has more strength behind it after playing this event. Side note, imagine if a crew member snapped at her for some reason and decided to leave the Suitcase? From what I've seen during this event, it would hurt her a lot.

Vertin visits Jessica while she's at the Foundation dealing with Horrorpedia. No one knows she's done this because the speaker doesn't announce her visit. Could this qualify as more of Vertin being stealthy? That or she told the security guards to get bent because she is the Timekeeper. First one sounds more likely but the second one gives me joy.

The school complains to Vertin about Jessica's behavior. Vertin tries to find out the cause of the misbehavior and creates a solution instead of berating her. A very gentle Suitcase Dad. Finding ways to redirect a child's energy in productive ways is a skill. She might have learned this specific one from Tooth Fairy, who also does this for Jessica. Make promises within your power. Find solutions to problems by tackling the source.

Talking to Jessica makes her nostalgic so she does have a few good memories of the Foundation.

She compliments the tiara Jessica made. She accepts Jessica's gift even though she never takes off her hat lol. She does say she’ll wear it though and so far she's kept her promises to Jess. Maybe we'll see her wearing it one day? Just her, Jessica, and Jessica's Critter friends doing a photoshoot with Blonney lol.

Vertin gives Jessica a room in the Suitcase right next to Jennifer's. She gets it.

She is the King of the Living Dead! She plays along with Jess's idea to scare Blonney and Horrorpedia. They aren't scared, but Blonney puts on an act for her little “monster”. They're all so cute!

She never really noticed you around spooky high, well, until she did. She saw you around either the library or the field, usually surrounded by a small group. When one of those people got on her nerves, she decided to reign hell on everybody associated with them.

She got everybody except you. There was no information on you since you didn't go around telling people anything, your social media history was either bare, uninteresting or somehow hidden from her and she never saw you do anything noteworthy. You were completely reserved.

She finally decided to talk to you head on when she realized that she wasn't getting the results she wanted with just observing, so she interrupted you when you where buying something from Valerie's store.

She starting asking what your deal was, trying to make accusations at you to finally hit a nail in the coffin, but none of that was working. You just gave her a blank, calm stare. But then, you decided to give her something that she might want more instead.

Since you're so quiet around everybody else, nobody notices you, you get all the details on the juicy stuff everybody is talking about. So you tell everything she might want to hear to her to try to get her to leave you alone, because you have some of your own secrets that you don't want her pushing into.

She likes how you aren't immediately afraid of her, how you can keep level headed and how you are willing to rat out your classmates too her. She doesn't have time to focus on EVERYTHING, so she keeps you around.

Now you're basically Vera's hub for blackmail information because nobody would be caught DEAD spilling their secrets in front of Vera. She has too much power.

You are also basically immune from Vera's wrath. If you stay on her good side that is.

The more you two hang out (Basically you telling her things that can be used as blackmail.) The more you start to warm up to her. You never really had somebody be this interested in you, especially somebody this socially powerful. You stop acting reserved around her, starting to show your real personality.

She notices the change quickly, but doesn't make any comments about it. She is starting to warm up to you too, but still convinces herself that she only keeps you around so that she has extra ears out on the school.

Her snakes begin to warm up to you too. You fed it a piece of your lunch one time (with permission) and it nuzzled up to you afterwards. Vera was embarrassed about that, but she would never let you know it.

The other charismatic classmates know of your existence now because they all see you with her, but they never really dig deeper into it because she tells them that you're just an asset.

The only person who doesn't believe that is Polly, which is determined to figure out who you are to Vera. Whenever she remembers you're existence, she goes to find and talk to you, but she either never finds you, or you only respond with one word answers which kills her mood. So she gives up.

Vera loves how you being reserved around other people is a way bigger advantage than she first realizes, demonstrated with the Polly situation. She used to confuse your quietness for shyness and label it as a weakness, but the more she gets to know you, the more she realizes that you're just in tune with your surroundings.

You know Vera fully is comfortable around you when she starts spoiling you. Her love language is gift-giving 100%, and she wants to let you know how helpful you have been. She disguises it as a completely transactional thing, but deep down, you know she has a thing for you ;)

Forgive me as I rant incoherently about magic and the Blessings.

Okay, so first thing's first, is the concept of familiars. Summoned companions that are believed to be either constructs or spirits that bound themselves to a person.

And due to correlations observed throughout the ages, it became more believed that your familiar is a manifestation of your soul. That by looking at your familiar, people can tell, not only the sort of magic you use but also what kind of person you are. And while this isn't too much of an issue in regular life, because manifesting your familiar takes a constant drain on your magic, they aren't just kept out. And the everyday person has no need to manifest one at all in their day to day.

No The prejudices revolving familiars and magic are more prevalent in those upper circles where magic is more of a part of their lives. Especially in academic circles. Studies have seen that evil people create evil familiars and evil magic. (Similar thinking is what gets people to generally dislike the shon and yeu-li due to their associations with darkness and manipulation respectively.)

However, there is no concrete evidence of what causes what. All that can be inferred is that who you are, your familiar, and your magic are all connected.

And what's even less explored is the influence of other factors like environment, experience and even mental illness on your familiar and magic. I mean, if these things shape who you are, it makes sense that they'd affect the other two as well, right?

And this is probably most obvious when it comes to the Blessings and how their magic manifests. Each has a "gift" a "core" (life, death, knowledge, etc) to their magic. And their familiars do represents the original Evlogia, even in their dormant states. (Deemo is still a bird. Gwydion is still a serpent. Etc.) But how how their magic manifests is also heavily influenced by who they are and who they became.

For some, it shows in their presentation.

Theo, despite being the Blessing of Knowledge, is still a child, yet to tap into his full potential. His magic is still so simple and reflective of his child mind. Empathy because he prioritizes people's feelings rather than their secrets. His light magic (a nod to him being ghraic, a "child of light"), is used mainly to draw in the air, taking the shape of his baby doodles rather than more serious forms. His blessings are a telepathic link, because everything can be solved if you talk it out, right? Even his visions are so indistinguishable from his normal daydreams that no one can tell which is real and which is just his child babbling.

Fenryr, Avatar of Death, is so in love with life, and art, and the beauty of the world, that his death magic manifests as flowers. Even when causing rot, that rot is displayed as small flowers. Stealing someone's life force shows as a flower that feeds off the victim. His necromantic summons take on the appearance of angelic statues rather than zombies. Even his blood magic, that causes pure Destruction, manifests as the target bursting into petals. His magic is as gentle as he is.

Then there's Alys who for the longest time could not even manifest her magic. Because she was (still is) so depressed and so adamant on tamping down her emotions. How could she tap into the power of Life if she had lost all love and passion for it? How could she Create if all she wants to do is disappear? Even now, he main magic is fire. A nod to her yeu-li blood, yes, but also because magic comes easiest to her when she's mad. Because rage is a form of passion, and for now, it's all she can depend on while she's still learning how to live again. Also, her created beings are often monstrous constructs and weapons because that's what she likes, what she's passionate about.

But for them, the core of their Blessing is still there. Still obvious. For the others. their magic has to do with their interpretation of what those blessings mean to them.

Taylor's is probably the most straightforward. To him, Peace means time. The time to rest to heal. Peace is that moment when all is right. So he controls time. He cleanses poisons, He takes away pain. Even his curses are just him stealing that peace away. And his blood negates magic. Calming the air, the storm, in a way.

As for Jibril, Dominion was originally seen as control over oneself and one's actions. And while he also had the ability to calm minds and enforce that self discipline, his main magic is gravity. Chains. The power to hold people down. To control them through force if necessary. Because his upbringing in the church taught him that's whay dominion was.

On the other end of that, we have Zandros. Holding the blessing of Choice and Change, he had a few paths he could go down. It was possible he leaned more into change and used more alchemy or shapeshifting. Maybe choice could mean the ability to travel through time like Taylor and choose other options to change the future. But Zandros grew up as a slave in fighting rings. So to him, this choice meant freedom. Freedom of movement. The ability to choose where he could go. To choose whether to fight or flee. So his magic manifests as wind (flight), teleportation. And of course, the ability to resist any and all attempts to command him to do something.

And finally, we have Adonai, my little baby boy. The gift of Community and yet never having one. Shunned and isolated due to his shon blood and losing his family at a young age at that. Forced to fend for himself, sell himself, with no one to rely on. So his first magic is a buff to himself when he's trying to protect others. Because he may not be able to depend on anyone but they can depend on him. And as he met the other Blessings. Grew closer to them, his magic expanded to include buffs and domain control. The desire to uplift his "community" and protect them. Even his blood, which forms powerful wards, came about due to finally having people he wished to protect, even at his own expense.

Alison Sudol: It's not so lovely for Queenie in this film. She has trouble because she doesn't speak French. She's not good at languages period. She has trouble with Newt's accent, so forget about Paris. So she's kind of getting a lot of information that she can't filter through in the way that she does. She's like clogged up by all of these information that she can't process, which is also part of the reason why it's easy for Grindelwald to manipulate her, because her instincts are not functioning properly.

Dan Fogler: I feel like she also reads heart shockers. If your intention is pure, then it confuses her. Even if you're an evil bastard, if you're intention is pure, she's like, "Oh, this person means well."

Alison Sudol: It's true, there's a purity … because her gift hasn't been something that she has been taught to use. She hasn't been mentored. It is literally, "Queenie, stop reading my mind." She could be one of the great witches of her all time with this gift, but it's seen as a nuisance. So, if you don't have mentorship, and you're taught that something about you is wrong – and you aren't developing it, it's only just happening to you – then the discernment between a pure intention and a pure intention of harm, you know, is quite confusing if it muddles the senses. That's what we encounter in this with her.

The narrow-mindedness of the world she lives in puts her into a really vulnerable position where somebody that's really manipulative can tell her what she wants to hear, and that's gonna have an impact.

I mean, anyone with a little power of observation could see that she was desperate to be with Jacob legitimately, which was a much bigger deal at that time than it is today. And because of the restrictions by the wizarding world, the narrow mindedness, the prejudice towards non-magical people, she was vulnerable to anyone who would say it could be different. Grindelwald pretended to be sympathetic to non-magical people to get her on his side. If the wizarding world had been more open-minded, she never would’ve been in this situation.

Alison Sudol: In the last film, a lot of people were shocked by what she did, but then, as I thought about more and more about what happens in that film, she's abandoned by the people that she loves, and her sister's not there, and she and Jacob are fighting, and Newt humiliates her, and she's also up against a huge amount of prejudice, and Grindelwald offers what seems like an alternative to a world that is broken and is not allowing her to be with the person she loves.

Really interesting subject matter.

If we look at what he is saying and analyse it, it does fall apart. However, if you're not paying a lot of attention to the substance and the inherent contractions in what he's saying, it sounds very seductive, very plausible, and it can persuade people that you or I might consider good people.

She has very little at this point left to go to, so she's not protected by anything in that moment and he comes in, and it's very interesting the way that Jo's done this. Basically, you think of a predator or an evil person, a bad person's gonna come in and they are gonna be like an ogre and horrible and being like killing kittens in front of you and you are gonna be able to see that they are evil, but the thing about Grindelwald is that he's a master manipulator. He's all things to everyone that they need, and that is why he is so dangerous, and to Queenie, he very quickly understands that the way to get to her is through her giant heart, which is very open and very sore, and he comes in, he's vulnerable to her and sort of appeals to her and also reacts to her gift, which is a gift of being able to read minds, but Queenie's never been told that it's a gift. She's always been shushed, and It's always been a frustration and an annoyance to the people around her, and here you have this very intriguing, mysterious man who sees her as this powerful woman, and also he's saying, "I want what you want. I want you be able to love freely." She's been rejected by Jacob; it's no wonder she gets swayed by Grindelwald.

Poppy Corby-Tuech: I think this is the power of Grindelwald, that he doesn't... He could've poisoned her, he could've drugged her, he could've used a spell, but actually I think he trusted that she would come to him in a really natural way and it would come from hers as opposed to her being forced. That is really the way that he's persuading a lot of people to do his very dark things around and it's not through mind games or through torture. It's through the sheer power of the words. Obviously, there's manipulation at the intent of it, but it's like, "If we lay the breadcrumbs, they will come."

David Heyman: I think the fact that even Queenie can go over is really significant. The fact is that for me, Grindelwald is a much scarier villain than Voldemort. Because Voldemort was pure evil. People follow Voldemort as much because of brute, his power and brute force than his power of persuasion. The thing about Grindelwald is he makes sense or he makes sense to people. He speaks to the needs that people have. He understands his audience and he gives them what they want to serve his own needs. So I understand Queenie who wants to be with Jacob but where the magical laws deny her that possibility. You can see why someone who tells her in his world, in the world that he will rule, that she will be able to have what she wants. You understand why she goes over.  And that makes it to me, Grindelwald is relevant. He speaks to today. But he's also, because history repeats itself, a timeless villain and I think he's incredibly scary.

As Callum said, Grindelwald seduces. Grindelwald is doing that. That's why Queenie goes over. He makes perfect sense. I understand why Queenie does what she does. I may hate it. Alison Sudol: Queenie made a choice to take marrying Jacob into her own hands in the second film, which set off a chain reaction of unfortunate events that ultimately left her vulnerable and alone. Ultimately, she made a choice to cross over to Grindelwald’s side. It was shocking for a lot of people, but she was wounded and reckless. There was a lot of chaos around that decision, and it happened in a split second. Now in this new film, things have calmed down and the sobering reality of the world that she now lives in has descended. It’s not a world that she fits into, but she’s had to assimilate. Grindelwald sees her as a valuable asset for her power to read minds, which puts her in an important position among Grindelwald’s minions. That doesn’t mean she’s safe. She’s navigating this as best as she can, and it’s intense!

Alison Sudol: So at the start of this film, we find her in a world that is very different than any world she's ever been in before. She's also being utilised for this tremendous power that she has, that she's either had to hide in the past or she's been made feel guilty about, and there is something interesting about that, about a person who hasn't actually been able to live fully as who they are, and I think a lot of young woman can relate to that as well, of what happens when somebody sees that thing, that burning part of you that nobody else sees. It's a tricky, interesting position. We don't really know where she's really to go and who she is and how she's going to move forward, because she's at a point in her life where she has sort of two ways to go, but she's made a decision that you can't really just say to Gellert Grindelwald, "Sorry, I actually..." It's pretty creeping, so maybe she won't be able to get away or mabye she will. That's what her journey is now.

Alison Sudol: Grindelwald's on a mission to become the leader of the wizarding world by hooker, by crook. He's not the kind of guy that's gonna do it the right way. He's gonna do it the way that makes it happen, and earlier on, she observes him do something completely unthinkable and cruel, disgustingly cruel to an innocent creature for his own benefit, and it's shocking, and it's unclear what she's seen up until then, but I don't think it takes her very long to realise that she's dealing with seriously villainous people.

Mads Mikkelsen: He's an odd man, because he picks some allies that he knows are not fully on his side. So there's a little game for him. He seems to take pleasure in manipulating people that he knows are not a believer of him. But obviously if you can turn them over completely, it's a win-win situation. If you can't, he will have a very fun and good time with them. But also it's an old saying, right? Keep your enemies very very tight, very close. But she's a fantastic tool as well. She has the ability to read people's minds, and that can come in very handy.

Mads Mikkelsen: Oh, Grindelwald doesn’t trust her at all. But there’s something about Queenie—she can read other people’s minds, but she’s also a very bad liar at the same time. So, Grindelwald has a hunch he can trust her to the degree that she can’t lie straight to his face. And then, as was said before, both Dumbledore and Grindelwald have this tendency to manipulate people around them. The difference is that Grindelwald doesn’t mind people around him that could be dangerous for him. He finds it interesting. It’s a little game. Life becomes more interesting when you have people around you that might turn on you. It keeps him on his toes.

someone told me that there aren't gay people in heaven, it's a thing some people suffer with in this life and they'll be cured in heaven. what do you think?

This idea that I won’t be gay in heaven is pernicious.

I know some people think "What's the big idea? You'll just be attracted to women instead of men. You'll still be you."

Being gay is part of how I experience the world, it influences who I bond with, and what I find attractive. Being gay is a part of my core, it is part of who I am. It is literally how I am made.

Being gay affects me in many ways. Studies show that on average gay people are more creative, have higher IQ’s and higher emotional intelligence, have more compassion and are more cooperative and have less hostility.

To make me straight would make me not be me. To say I’m going to be resurrected as a straight person is akin to deleting me and creating a new person who is straight.

The real problem is our heteronormative society decides anything not heterosexual is wrong and must be deleted or changed.

There are many queer people who didn’t want to be queer and instead want to be "normal." They fought to be not queer, and eventually have to accept this is part of who they are. A person’s sexual orientation or gender identity doesn’t change because someone wants it to, it’s not a choice.

Conversion therapy, also called reparative therapy, is an effort to change a person from being gay to being straight. Studies show the 3 most common outcomes of conversion therapy is feeling suicidal, attempting suicide, and completing suicide. The reason gay people "suffer" in this life is because we're denied the same rights and privileges afforded to straight people, we're not accepted the same way but instead are talked about as a sin and that we're dangerous to children.

By saying queer people will no longer be queer after death is a way of avoid the need to make things better in this life because they'll be taken care of in the next life.

The same is true about other things we've taught, such as Black people and other peoples of color will be made white in the afterlife, that allowed people to justify and perpetuate racism in this life.

Similarly, teaching that disabled people will no longer have those disabilities when they're resurrected doesn't remove our obligation to dismantle ableism in this world. We need to create access so all people can fully participate in community life.

Who knows for sure what heaven will be like? Maybe LGBTQ people will become like non-queer people, maybe they won’t. Meanwhile they deserve to have meaningful lives with the same dignity and opportunities for happiness. “Man is that he might have joy.”

"I guess you can say that." Blood then proceed to yeet something to Doll. "Here you go dolly, blood nii will gift it to you since your weeping so hard for not getting paid to be here." The mad hatter give him a teasing gaze which made the other to glare at him.

"why are you giving it to me?! Don't tell me it's a bomb?!" Doll who put away the gift carefully in the side, he refuse to say thank you cause of the good will. His too embarrassed too!

"yup." Blood give a cheeky smile. Which made doll to give him a look before looking at the wrapped gift. "I'll look at it later. Hmmp." He scoff. He need to make sure no one looking at him as he look at the gift and write letters again to his owner about the game again.

He clicked his tongue but before he can move on to blood to probably insult and all. He was attack from behind by doll who's very furious.

"ARE YOU BLIND ? REAPER IS ALIVE. FUCKING BITCH! HOW DARE YOU SAY CRAP ABOUT MY FRIENDS!!" The darling doll becoming a sucker punching doll that would land a critical hit to the introvert doctor.

"Doll!!" Bee and reaper quickly tried to stop doll. "LET GO OF ME THAT BITCH HAD IT!"-doll.

"tsk." Doctor who's injuries healed in mare seconds after doll was remove from him just rolled his eyes at the darling doll. "Your world is slowly become forgotten. Oh so called beloved world." He says before he was mob by Doll once again but this time even more anger on his punches.

"YOUR GONNA GET IT NOW!!" doll was not stopped by others and even blood join him in the fun.

There's something that's been on my mind about the fandom scene, that's kinda bugged me for about as long as I started taking tumblr more seriously for posting art and taking part in fanzines, bangs, gift exchanges etc. quite a few years ago now. Sometimes in fandoms that are older than Gen Z, (which in the majority of these fanbases, people would at least be in their late 20's, usually the majority are in their 30's and 40's) there's a lot of resentment to younger fans, particularly the Gen Z's. Now I'm not saying, with Gen Z, there aren't problems specific to our generation when it comes to fandoms; however from what I've observed, (this might be in the older fandoms that I'm specifically in) a lot of the issues come from the original fanbase themselves and Gen Z's are just the scapegoats to blame, instead of actually fixing the fanbase those issues, which I find come from rigidity to keeping the fandom the same way it was 20, 30, 40 years ago.

Sometimes older fandoms do feel gatekept by older members, which is a shame, because more fans, means more exposure, more content, more creativity, more joy. I've definitely felt talked down to and know others have, just for giving an opinion or suggesting something, like a headcanon, often with good natured intentions to bounce around ideas and as prompts, just because it doesn't fit what the fandom olds have decided to be canon (which isn't always canon/word of God or act like they personally are the director/writer/mangaka etc's mouth pieces delivering upon us, the holy gospel). If you're older than me, I don't need you to take me under your wing to teach me what's right and wrong for a fictional piece of work, just because one generation decided it's one way and another likes another way better. You aren't my parents, so please don't talk to me in a strict tone like you're correcting my bad behaviour; it's personally insulting and infantalising. In fact, I believe this phenomena is so common, the term 'fandom mom' was coined because this happens a lot.

I've heard a lot of older people in some fandoms blame Gen Z for ruining things, but a lot of the things that I've heard them being accused of, I see the older members fight with each other on, such as rules established by the older generations themselves like "If you don't like X ship, character, franchise, tropes etc, move on to what you do like and don't stay around to hate on X thing". It just comes off as hypocritical to me if you're going to instruct young people on established fandom ettiqute, but break them yourself and make excuses for other fandom olds when they do something wrong, but would crucify a younger person for doing the same thing.

Another thing I've seen, is envy towards the talent of Gen Z, especially when it comes to their fanart and fanfic output and the technology available to them with digital fanart. I understand wishing that you had that technology when you was younger and more energy and time now to contribute to these fandoms, as you're in a different stage of life to most Gen Z's, but it's not our faults that we're the ones that exist in the time for technology to be really good to create art with. I've seen this cause a divide between older and younger fans, by older ones trying to keep up the younger ones, to an obsessional level and half the time, we're not even seeing it as some competition, we do it for fun.

I keep seeing younger fandoms such as My Hero Academia, Miraculous Ladybug and Steven Universe, as well as rebooted/alternate versions of older fandoms like My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power and Voltron: Legendary Defender, be used to justify treating Gen Z fans a certain way and projecting this image that every Gen Z is this frothing, cringy mess of a person who will rip others to shreds. While some people are like this, I think it's unfair to say the majority are, especially when comparing it to older fandoms or the original version's older fanbase, since the young people in those fandoms will eventually grow up and mature over time. You can't judge people who are mostly in their teenage years, as if they'll all be like that forever, especially not when I've seen some people pushing 40, say and do a lot worse over fandom.

The fandoms especially where the original source material is old, but still around and continuously aimed at children, just to name a few that I personally still enjoy, such as My Little Pony, Transformers, Pokémon, Sailor Moon, Kingdom Hearts etc. I don't understand when the older generations of fans get so possessive of keeping it gatekept from Gen Z, to the point they forget first and foremost, that it isn't even aimed at older people anymore, but children. If a lot of these kind of franchises were going to age up in accordance with the original fanbase, then they would have in the majority of their future installments; I could then understand this hold to gatekeep a little bit more. But a lot of them haven't and the companies making and selling them, still want to primarily focus on being marketed towards kids, but just of a new generation. No one's stopping older fans from liking older franchises aimed at kids, which they grew up with, but please let kids have things that are aimed at them and more than likely always will be, without this struggle to keep it just as it was when you were younger. You can dislike the direction something is going in, criticise it and prefer an older version, but you can't expect it to cater to you as an adult.

At a certain point, you have to accept that things change over time, including fandom. Demographics will naturally change, as more younger people come in and will eventually become the majority and fandom olds get older, eventually becoming the minority. With this change, generally, Gen Z are not trying to pry fandom out of your hands; we're just trying to co-exist and like the same things older fans do. Generally, we're not trying to antagonise older fans, by having a different opinion or different way of doing things. The Simpsons puts it best, "I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with, isn't it and what's it seems weird and scary to me. It'll happen to you". It's ok to feel out of your depth with younger people, who seem better at something than you with more charisma, energy, time, followed and engagement with their socials, but please don't project that on us as if we're undeserving or we're doing something wrong. I don't want to feel like any time I draw, it's a competition, I just do it for fun. I don't want me giving an idea, to be shot down, because you don't want to think of something in a different way. I just want to share inter-generationally the things I like and interact with like-minded individuals, but only if they're not going to do these things that I've grown weary of seeing and personally experienced.

—I still remember it so clearly, when you found me on those meadows in the middle of nowhere...–

Meská let their mind wander through their memories. The tide of memories flooded his consciousness. Soon his mind could recreate said meadows, under a gentle sun; The flowers, elegantly opening their petals, danced along with the north wind.

The grass hugged the circumference of the mask, from which some plants sprouted. Although he was abandoned in that desolated place, it was not as bad as he thought. Daily he was greeted with the sweet song of birds, pollen from bees and morning dew. Peacefuly, he enjoyed his stay with nature, admiring how beautiful the mortal world was compared to the Olympus.

A shadow caught his attention, it walked towards him. It was a tall man with black hair and a pointed face like a raven. He took the object with curiosity, observing its fine features. The fallen God found this interaction unusual, although he had interrupted his daily praise to the Sun, he did not find it inopportune to be found.

—A divine gift.– Said that man. —It is rather strange to find such an artifact in these places.–

He expected a more exaggerated response, but instead the man just stared at him.

Without his vision available, he was carried away by the actions of his new partner who deduced that he was a doctor, based on the way he spoke and his routines. He was a few-words man, deep per excellence but a good chat partner when it came to complex topics.

—You are a "cure-all" individual, aren't you, my friend?

The doctor stopped when he said that sentence, he hadn't mentioned much about his goal in his presence, but the question generated pressure on him, as if he was forced to answer it.

—Indeed, my job right now is to search for the cause of the Pestilence, that disease that plagues this planet. It's only the beginning.

The divinity was intrigued by his companion, listening to him speak was a delight, a bath of knowledge in his being. He felt confident, as if he could be an ideal carrier.

—Tell me, good doctor, your name so that I can address you properly.

The man was silent, he was not sure of his answer. Accustomed to just being called "doctor", he did not expect to have to remember his real name.

—I don't remember my name to be honest, the name "Doctor" is more than enough... And since you mention it, what is your name? Are divine gifts worthy of a name?

—When I was still worshipped, they gave me the name of Meská; And for a long time I adopted that name as my own, although my real name is Dýo Polonoí.

—Dýo Polonoí... A fancy name for an entity like you.

—You flatter me!– The mocking mask changed its expression of anguish to one of laughter, something that did not happen very often.

The doctor took Dýo in his hands, something in his subconscious told him to put on the mask.

—Before I am put away, let me propose something to you.– He mumbles. —Carry me, let me use you as a new host for my talent gluttony, I promise that together we will make unparalleled progress.–

The proposal was tempting, and he was right. A divine entity should have enough power and knowledge to help him in his work.

—Okay, we'll see how it goes.

The fallen god thanked him for his cooperation and waited patiently for him to position himself on his face. His companion's icy hands were a new sensation for him, he carefully placed his material on his face, accentuating his marked cheekbones. Instantly, a great energy invaded the doctor's body, he was filled with inspiration, with desire. He gave a stretch with his arms, moving his waist to the sides to crack his hard bones.

—I missed this feeling!– Dýo exclaimed. —A new human body, it feels so good!–

Their voices sounded in unison, only the one who was speaking sounded a little louder. The doctor was scared by the new sensation but after a short time he got used to it.

—So this is your purpose, to possess to release, romantic.– He continued to explore his "new" body full of vitality, beginning to analyze it for future studies. —How long has it been since you owned someone?–

—A few centuries ago... Hera continues venting her wrath on me, so my potential carriers end up annihilated. Don't feel intimidated, you are different. This union feels mutual, equal.–

His partner was glad to hear that, a warm feeling in his chest confused him. Dýo noticed that, but I don't comment anything, he just let things flow. The next few hours were spent doing field research, dissecting bodies, analyzing fluids, and even more research; So much energy seemed to never run out. They both felt so comfortable with each other that they didn't notice when they had gone a full week without sleeping or eating.

When they separated, the doctor felt a void, his face was hit by a blast of cold. He caressed the corner of his lips with a thumb, it felt as if a perpetual kiss had been imprinted on it.

—It makes me sad that we are parting, my friend, but you must rest.

—Next time I'll let you use me for one of your works as a reward for helping me.

-like someone would be remotely nice to them and they'd believe they really are nice people

•Leon thinks he actually doesn't deserve his title as Champion

-he thinks he only got to that spot bc of Rose and bc maybe a lot of trainers were kinda forced to hold back when it comes to challenging him

-as much as he deeply loves and cares about Sonia, he's also terrified that one day she'd stop doing her professor work and take on the Gym challenge again, as she's really the only one who could beat him when they were younger

-the others do try to reassure him that hey, he is a strong champion, but also tried to tame that ego, or they believe it is his ego, down so he won't dub himself "the undefeated champion of the world"

-then again, that's also how he copes, by calling himself an undefeated champion

•Lance didn't actually have that good of an education because the elders of his clan only trained him specifically to be the next leader of the Blackthorn Clan

-not to say he's like, dumb, or dense or anything, I mean he's smart y'know, he's a detective, but ig that was also part of his training, to be really observant and analytic

-Steven doesn't really experience it much unless Metagross mega evolves, I wanna say it's thanks to it's Steel typing resisting that strong Psychic power it has, sparing Steven those severe headaches

-Diantha tho? Well, Dia, from an early age, had to deal with her Gardevoir's strong Psychic power that she had to teach it Calm Mind and kept that move since then, it's honestly that bad that Dia herself started to have those Psychic surges too

-Wallace would have a Z Ring ofc it fits his vibes, he'd have the Waterium Z for his Milotic
