"If God be for us, who can be against us?" - Romans 8:31

Beloved, if we are believers in Jesus, all the perfections of Jehovah’s nature are arrayed for our defence and safety. He is engaged by covenant, by promise, and by oath, to support, supply, and befriend us. He is for us. Engaged in our cause. Opposed to our enemies. Pledged to deliver us in six troubles, and not forsake us in the seventh. We may challenge our foes, for God is with us; what then is man? What devils? We may admire our safety, happiness, and honour; God the Lord God omnipotent, is our ally. We should be grateful, for what is our desert? What do we possess? What were our expectations? What has God promised? We may triumph in Christ, but only in Christ: if God be for us, then supplies shall certainly be sent us. If God be for us, men or devils shall never prevail against us. If God be for us, we shall overcome the world, conquer death, and eternally inherit glory. But God is for us, who then shall harm us? What then shall alarm or terrify us? God is ours; we are God’s. This is our honour, our happiness, our boast and our glory.

Yes, God is above men, devils, and sin, My Jesus’s love the battle shall win: On His mighty power I’ll daily rely, All evil before His presence shall fly: I fear no denial, no danger I fear, Nor start from a trial, when Jesus is near.

God is Perfect love, He is The Rock, a Refuge, your Safe Place and He never leaves you. And His Word is a Strong Tower you can run to anytime and be safe (Prov 18:10). Friend, God is for you.
