“For example, there was God’s promise to Abraham. Since there was no one greater to swear by, God took an oath in his own name, saying: “I will certainly bless you, and I will multiply your descendants beyond number.” Then Abraham waited patiently, and he received what God had promised. Now when people take an oath, they call on someone greater than themselves to hold them to it. And without any question that oath is binding. God also bound himself with an oath, so that those who received the promise could be perfectly sure that he would never change his mind. So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary. Jesus has already gone in there for us. He has become our eternal High Priest in the order of Melchizedek.” —Hebrews 6:13-20 (NLT)
“We have troubles all around us, but we are not defeated. We often don’t know what to do, but we don’t give up. We are persecuted, but God does not leave us. We are hurt sometimes, but we are not destroyed.” —2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (ERV)
“Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.” —Romans 12:12 (NLT)
“It is the hope of Christ that makes it possible for us to persevere in times of tribulation save distress.” —R.C. Sproulm
July 23, 2022 at 12:12pm PHT: I just happened to see the time which reminded me of what happened on December 12, 2021 and Romans 12:12.
"The Matrix is a system, Neo. That system is our enemy. But when you're inside, you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, teachers, lawyers, carpenters—the very minds of the people we are trying to save. But until we do, these people are still a part of that system and that makes them our enemy. You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it."

“I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust [with great confidence, and on whom I rely]!” —Psalm 91:2 (AMP)
“...Constantly rejoicing in hope [because of our confidence in Christ], steadfast and patient in distress, devoted to prayer [continually seeking wisdom, guidance, and strength],” —Romans 12:12 (AMP)
I have been a follower of Christ for a long time now; and with each year that passes I put less confidence in the things of this world and more and more confidence in Jesus. The world changes constantly, Jesus is the same “Yesterday, today and forever” (Heb 13:8).
Confidence in God doesn't mean that things won't go wrong or that life is always great. It doesn't mean that there won't be bad days (it's a fallen world - there are bad days). What it means is that God in His Triune nature: Father, Son and Holy Spirit are always there to help. When life sandbags you, God is there to help you get up again. He will mend what's wrong, heal you, work all things for your good (Rom 8:38) and help you move on with your journey. God is always good (Ps 100:5). Friend, when you need help, God is only a “Help me” away, day or night.
Put your confidence in God, Unlike the world and its people, God never changes (Mal 3:6, Num 23:19, Isa 40:28). God's love for you never changes (Lam 3:22-23) and He is ALWAYS with you (Josh 1:9, Matt 28:20). Amen! 🙌
