it's just my fucking luck that i start playing clone hero and want to put my bass guitar to some use with rocksmith just a bit over a month after ubisoft takes rocksmith 2014 off stores in favor of a subscription service. apparently custom songs don't work on pirated copies because the people in charge of all the custom song infrastructure have a stick up their ass about pirating a game that is now officially abandonware, so now my options are either pay $200+ for a physical copy from a scalper plus some more for the adapter cable or get fucked and miss out on "the fastest way to learn guitar". i swear to fucking god. kill me.

my sleep habits are in shambles, i got up past 1 again and kept using my phone in bed. only got up because i wanted to immediately see if i could get onto overwatch. i did, unfortunately. just after spending a little time in the training mode and getting reacquainted with the characters i could feel myself getting back into it, which is a bad thing, the worst thing you can do is get back into overwatch. felt like playing it all day and eventually stopped around the time i realized there is just not any progression anymore, and the only way i can justify spending that much time on a video game is if it’s able to trick my brain into believing i’m making some kind of progress.

i’m waking up to my fingers being increasingly noticeably harder, and also sorer. i played video games most of the day then just kind of floated around most of the rest so guitar practice keeps getting left until late when i’m too worried about making noise. i should probably cancel rocksmith+ soon since i mostly wanted it for learning tools and clearly i can get that better for free, and i should just get rocksmith 2014 for playing the songs. that and i’m worried about falling off playing in general despite how excited i was about it the first few days.

starting to worry about these mole scars that don’t seem to be getting noticeably better. to be fair i picked at all of them way too much so it wouldn’t at all mean the product doesn’t work, plus i’m probably using the repair cream wrong. i will simply use it again on the scars until it works, or until i have more scars on my body than i had moles.

haven’t been responding to people on hellotalk much anymore, it’s gotten too overwhelming and also i’m lazy i am lazy that is the real reason i leave everything until 20 minutes before midnight because i’m lazy. i made my first post that got absolutely no interaction today, wonder if it’s an algorithm thing because i’m not responding to messages or because i talked about someone’s death and unknowingly used inappropriate language for it.

Current stuff I’m doing-

-Mostly Animal Crossing.

-Replaying Trauma Center (saving fictional people from medical emergencies is cathartic right now, plus it’s one of my all-time favourite games. Like, top 10 definitely, maybe even top 5)

-Fallout: New Vegas- played partway through before but then my Xbox 360 stopped working. Now that I have a new one I’ve started again. Playing on hardcore mode- weight limits are the toughest part. I like grabbing EVERYTHING I can to salvage for caps, so that’s the hardest part for me.

-TV. Just dumb, lighthearted stuff. Nice to have on in the background while I play Animal Crossing in handheld mode. There’s been a few really fun horror movies on late at the moment too- that’s been nice, and I find the right kind of fun horror movie actually really nice and comforting.

Stuff I want to do-

-Watch some long anime series I’m trying to get through. I log them on my anime list-

Currently watching the original Dragon Ball (never really watched Dragon Ball as a series at all but I love Toriyama’s stuff and the classic shonen fun, so I decided to go from the start! A good way in now, watching the dub, even though I’m usually strictly subs because... the added goofiness just feels right for Dragon Ball- feels 90’s and fun!)

Also watching Lupin III- also right from the start! I love Lupin stuff but I’ve only seen Castle of Cagliostro and Secret of Mamo until now, feel like I owe it to myself to watch more!

No Game No Life is another I’m watching, and I like it a lot!

Recently finished- Middle Manager Tonegawa. I enjoyed it loads! Really fun stuff!

-Read manga - I have all of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure parts 1-3 and Rohan at the Louvre- JoJo’s is pretty mich my favourite thing ever, so I need to read the manga after watching all of the anime so far! I’m very much anime first, but I’ll love reading the source material afterwards!

-Play/beat more games! There’s a lot of badly unfinished/underplayed and straight up UNplayed stuff in my collection, so I really want to enjoy more! I have a bad habit of putting off stuff I really, really want to play too, so it’s important to me!

-Do some more Duolingo - I was doing great with Japanese, and I really want to get back to it again!

-Organise my game collection - having moved house at the start of January, I’m still sitting around in piles off stuff- sorting out my games and ordering them on my new bookshelves would solve most of that, and I love displaying them well! Makes me happy! :)

-Maybe start learning guitar/bass again. I was using the game Rocksmith to teach myself (it’s like Guitar Hero but actually playing an actual guitar/bass!) which seems like my best way of doing it to be honest! I like learning stuff by myself without worrying about there being someone else there, so I really enjoy these game-like ways of learning real skills like this and Duolingo.

That’s it so far. Doing anything can feel like a real victory, even if it’s just making progress on a game I’ve been meaning to play, or watching something I’ve been meaning to. Just anything that’s actually living life instead of doing nothing is really, really good, no matter how seemingly small!

And now Osborn is referring to this Tower as a sign that they finally reached the glory of these ancient and forgotten times.

This man manages to know even the truth behind Wazy - a truth even we as the player do not know yet. It symbolizes his immensely insight and shows it off to both the SSS as well as the player.

Now remember... he has not just Lechter to gather information. Millium, Claire, Rufus and later on also Altina are there to give him plenty of intel from many places about many people. Plus, as powerful as he is, any information about someone or some place he wants, he can get and so even as a player who does not know the details of Cold Steel, you are aware that Lechter is hardly the only way for him to gather intel.

Only know we get to the actual conversation about what the really wants from the SSS. And yet, he has already wonderfully shown that he is a man you should fear. And then this question comes:

Rocksmith was trying to get the SSS on his side, knowing that they are well received in the Crossbell public and also that they would be in the way if they don’t support him in his plans to take over Crossbell.
