GET THE FACTS
Here we go again. Now government blames gay men. Get the FACTS before you begin. A pox that was from rodents then to monkeys. So how is it now blamed on gay men. Ignorance and judging once again. This war of prejudice is stiring up believers of another sin. GET OFF your high horse. These lies you tell are not facts of course. So stop reading the horoscope. The hate spread by liars are a far worse…

And so, Why are We Here?
And so, Why are We Here?       Summary Pure Spirit Energy is “ALL” there is, and it’s Creative! Personalized as ‘God’ — God ‘is’ the creative pure spirit energy of “ALL” there is! Residing as the nucleus of the Eternal Isle of Paradise itself, always is God found personally and literally present; the flood streams of life, personality, and energy all flowing the Infinity of His…

“If there is a god how come there’s so much evil in the world”
I want to try a different angle.
have you ever seen a sunset? Or the way farmlands look from above? Have you seen the stars at night? Tall mountains, deep oceans, vast savannas, old forests. Little flowers clinging to steep cliffs hurtling into the ocean. The feeling of snow melting on my skin, wind in my lungs, sand between my toes, my palm against the bark of a sturdy tree. The taste of raspberries and grapes and watermelon. I know bread is man-made but have you ever tasted newly baked bread fresh from the oven? It’s a religious experience.
“If there’s a god how come there’s so much evil in the world “
If there’s is so much beauty in the world, how can you be so sure there isn’t

if you don’t stand with palestinian people literally just leave my blog. you can be israeli and you can be jewish and still recognise that palestinian people, not to mention that millions of those people are kids, are being killed and have been attacked for literally just living in their own country. the israeli defense minister is cutting off food, water, electricity to attack palestinians in gaza and calling them ‘human animals.’ they aren’t even treated as people anymore, yet half of them are innocent kids.
it’s like only a select few people care about palestinians and the rest of the world think of them as all being islamic extremists and terrorists for just living in their own country. it’s fucking disgusting how the world has turned a blind eye to innocent palestinians for decades.
if you want someone to blame, turn your heads to the people who allowed israel to take over palestine. to the israel government and hamas who are allowing innocent people, both israelis and palestinians alike, to be killed.

What I have learned from living in a rural conservative/ Christian/ Midwest state for the past 4-5 years...
Politics: The chaotic totalitarian rise of the left has caused a slight genocidal rise of the right.
Religion: Christianity holds archetypes in stories ever since man could reason and write. Atheism does not exist
Love: Men and Women are similar but our differences are soooo different. (blank) is the ying to my yang!
Rat Race: We all start in different places at the start, but hey, at least we are still in the race!!

The audacity of religious people to come up with the most unhinged, outlandish, harmful possible beliefs and then claim that everyone should 'respect their beliefs.'

"Respect other people's spiritual beliefs" is for things like how many gods there are, or whether Jesus always existed with the Father or was begotten five minutes before creation started or was just some guy who got really popular, or whether the divine is immanent or transcendent or both.
"Respect other people's spiritual beliefs" is not for shit like "I believe all the religions I don't like were actually created by an evil conspiracy trying to suppress the truth of my spirituality, which must be spread across the world to save us all from the evil conspiracy." That's just straight-up bigotry and conspiracism. That shit gets people killed.

the way this website balks at the term "culturally christian" is so funny to me like. oh shit you mean the religion our government and culture is structured around might impact you even if you're atheist and ESPECIALLY if you're ex-christian? noooo it's the people using it to describe a phenomenon of western culture that are wrong

I stg if I see one more "Justice for medusa's TRUE story!" post I'm gonna kill someone.
(TW: Assault mention)
The medusa is assaulted by posidon then cursed by athena for being assaulted in her temple only appears in Ovid's Metamorphoses, which is written as a purposeful subversion of Greco-roman myths. most are reframed or rewritten from just kinda a thing that exists or a black and white moral tale of why you shouldn't be hubristic to full on tragedies on the part of the person often getting their comeuppance or the monster. Heck in book 13 we get a love story starring Polyphemus, the cyclops from the Odyssey.
In general mythology, Medusa is just another monster. Ovid revises the myth to turn it into a tragedy. I absolutely love ovid's work, he does so many clever things with the myths, but for the love of the gods its the furthest from the real version you can get
