Red Son Appreciation Week: Cooking

Red Son was a good cook. A great cook even!

Maybe not by human standards. But to demons, his cooking was phenomenal. They loved the ingredients he put into their meals. The spices burned their mouths wonderfully.

But Red Son supposed that hid level of spicy was too much for the human tongue to handle. Seeing how they looked close to death every time one ate his cooking.

So he had to turn it down a notch or two so that their customers can enjoy their meals without complaining to the manager. Which was his father.

Despite his initial reluctance to working in their food stand, his father was now willing to play along with him. By which Red means, silently watching Red Son work and taking care of anyone who dares insult his sons cooking skills.

Either way, this was a nice bonding experience for the father and son duo to have.

Maybe they can do this more often.

Red Son Week- Reverse AU/Insert Ship

When he had agreed to become his sort-of uncle’s successor, Red had expected to face off against his parents. That wasn’t an issue as long as his identity was hidden.

He had not been expecting to be sandwiched between two of his enemies.

Who had the issue of being the prettiest people he’d ever seen.

The booth they were tucked in was in the most private corner of the club. It was still close enough to hear the music, but far enough that nobody on the dance floor would see them. Like now, with Xiaojiao craning her neck to steal a kiss while Xiaotian was distracting him from returning the kiss by gentle kisses down his neck and hard tugs of his hair.

Xiaojiao finally pulled away. “Hey, stop hogging him!” she said to her best friend. Red was a touch out of it due to the blood rushing... everywhere. “It’s my turn to have a little fun.”

He should be heading back to Pigsy’s, right now.

But it was hard to gain the willpower when Xiaotian nipped at his jaw before pulling away. “Sorry, Mei.” he said, reaching out.

Any thoughts of leaving escaped the former prince’s mind as she handed her hand over and he pressed a kiss to her knuckles. “Well, maybe we can share,” Xiaojiao sighed. She turned those green eyes, glimmering with power, and his mind blanked as she smiled at him, a hint of fang poking out. “Right Red?”

He managed a wheeze.

The two shared grins before descending down.

(Xiaotian at least had the politeness to say “We’ll take that as a yes.”)
