#classic Kakashi DID disobey orders for his kids #It's insane when people say he'd never act rebellious against konoha when the evidence is there in the classic #or course things changed in shippuden #but in the classic? he went to the land of the waves mission without reporting the the classification was wrong #because he wanted to help tazuna properly #he allowed sasuke to fight in the preliminaries with the cursed mark and secretly sealed it went it was over #he hide the fact that a three men cell was needed for the chuning exams to give sakura the space to decide for herself what she wanted #he was all the time hiding information and acting on his own #even when he says later that he couldn't do much for them it's not because he didn't try #the village fucked him over they set him up for failure and in some sense he knew it #he accepted to be their sensei because he cared for them and he was on their side #I'm fully convinced that if shippuden had followed the classic as it was supposed to do kakashi would have rebelled in more than one way #but it didn't happen :( so #Kakashi Hatake #naruto #Tsunade Senju #Naruto Classic

Love rewatching the first part of In The Name Of Rebellion part one because every part of the first scene is just instant serotonin. "Where's Hera?", Rex being there, Ezra being worried about Hera and Kanan saying that she's got it as they run to help her, Wedge saying "Captain" in The most distressed voice I have ever heard (whenever he says it I have to mimic him but in a Russian accent like I'm Chekov or whatever his name is from Star Trek) then calling her Boss like they're in the mafia, Chopper asking if Hera's astromech made it in a SUPER smug voice. And DON'T even get me started on "I've seen worse landings".

sometimes I wonder if the reason why the fifth doctor struggles to have authority over his companions compared to his previous incarnations is because he’s simply physically too close in age to them.

assuming adric is around 16 and nyssa, tegan, and turlough are in the 18-20 range, and five himself is played by an actor in his late 20s — that’s on average about a 10 year age gap.

tbh I can’t imagine that a late 20s looking person would easily be able to order around an 18 year old, even if they are technically an ancient time lord.

dorcas meadowes and sirius black are the anti hero marauder characters.

#if you're wondering why regulus isn't here. i shall explain my decision. #right so. an anti hero is a character who does good but has un- heroic like traits #an anti hero focuses on personal motivation above a sort of greater good. #and is generally disliked/on the outs with the clearer hero/villian characters #dorcas is on a clear side of good. but the way they go about it isn't that moral #they kill practically hundreds of people (bad people) out of more anger and grief than anything else #dorcas could be classed as a hero with more villianous qualities (acting on more selfish desires/careless about people they hurt) #sirius comes from a family of more villian characters but runs towards good #his intentions are some 'for the greater good' and just. to rebel. #they tend to act selfishly and impulsively and make bad choices #sirius strives to be a hero but his trauma and intentions land them in anti hero #whereas regulus. #he (unlike sirius and dorcas) isn't on/striving for good. #he is a very neutral character that is trapped in a villianous world #an anti hero actively does both good and bad. an anti hero thinks firstly of themsevles #regulus doesn't. his good deed is stealing the horcrux. his bad deed is joining the death eaters. #he does do both good and bad. but that just lands him as a neutral character. a morally grey victim. a complacent rebel. #dorcas and sirius do good things with bad intentions and bad things with good intentions #whilst regulus does a bad thing and a good thing. and so on. which cancels each other out. making him neutral. #marauders era #marauders #sirius black #dorcas meadowes

I got this ask after a not great day at work and let me tell you it was an absolute BLESSING. So thank you so much!!

Right now it's this one scene in season four where Kanan, Sabine, and Ezra get back from a mission (without Hera and Zeb, who stayed on their base) and the FIRST thing Kanan asks when they land is "where's Hera?" Listen. No thoughts only "where's Hera?"

Then a little while later she shows up (flying a ship that's about to crash) and Ezra's all worried but Kanan says "don't worry, she's got it" and it makes me VERY HAPPY OKAY? HE JUST TRUSTS HER SO MUCH
