I meant to make this forever ago but here are my gay titan headcanons for pride month

Dick Grayson

The man is definitely bi. Growing up with bruce, he never got a chance for any kind of meaningful relationship and wasn't like other kids with internet access (or however that worked, I mean he's around my mom's age and her generation all had like flip phones in highschool or whatever) or "the talk" or really anything pertaining to sexuality. And instead of not realizing it until adulthood, he kinda just took it as it's completely normal because he never saw anything special about it. Bruce was always supportive of any pride marches going on which made him feel safe but they always had this mutual understanding that didn't make anything need to be said out loud

He may look sexy as fuck all the time but it's all a show, he's so asexual. I've always kinda took this as canon even though nothing like that was mentioned or shown, and he slept with kori pretty early on but nevermind that. He's not out to anyone because he didn't know asexuality was a thing, but more on that later with another character I headcanon as ace :-)

When he does figure it out though he comes out publicity rather quickly and the internet goes wild, leaving his teammates to find out through twitter

Conner being the sweet guy he is congratulates him

Koriand'r

On Tamaran, no one is really aware of sexuality as a society, but just that a princess needs her prince and things like that (I don't know much about Tamaran, I could be wrong in canon but this is headcanon) but they do have the capacity for sexuality. Kori comes to earth and discovers human sexuality and doesn't really understand any of it and tries to figure out what she is but comes to the conclusion that it's VERY confusing but by god does she love dick grayson

Gar Logan

He's very much pansexual. He's always struggled with coming out to people, half of him thinking 'it's so obvious but they never said anything so they must be homophobic but deal with me for titans business' and 'they think I'm straight and I should come out' but rachel helps him, they are mspec solidarity

He comes out officially to the public during pride month which causes the rest of the titans to come out and make their statements which makes the world go crazy

He comes out to the team by donning a bunch of pan pride merch and hanging up a flag in his room and eventually they take notice and ask what it's about he makes a big show out of it and kori makes him a pan colored cake with the help of rachel because he was so excited about it

When he and rachel officially room together, they fold their pride flags in half to combine them on the wall

He is also asexual. I don't get sexual attraction so almost everyone is asexual. Like me he doesn't get the hype around it so he doesn't make a big deal about it like his pansexuality. He comes out because jason makes a joke about him and rachel now sharing a room and he just goes "huh? oh, no, me and rachel don't do that. I'm asexual :D" thus prompting dick to talk to gar in private and explain to him, and he doesn't show it but he's very excited and goes to tell kori

Rachel Roth

She is so bi without a doubt. When she comes out with the titans, people give her a lot of shit for being in a committed relationship with a man while being bi but she responds to all public backlash just getting increasingly more obnoxious with it. Think like aggressively chaotic videos in response to trolls to Lady Gaga songs and hanging pride flags from the tower every June

Jason Todd

Look at this man and tell me he's not bi. You can't. I know I've headcanoned like everyone as bi but that's because I'm projecting

He gets a boyfriend and thinks he's keeping it a secret but he's really bad at it

He acts like he's going out with a girl but has no idea how to act with a guy, so he asks the titans very obvious advice that just gets worse the more he tries to cover it up

Bruce knows it from the start pretty much because he's always acted like a tool who only cared about showing off everything batman and titan related when he dated girls but he actually appears genuine, so it must mean he's gay

One evening he tells the titans he's going on a date and rachel goes "with your boyfriend?"

Then they convince him to take his date to the tower to meet them which ends up being the best date he's ever been on

Conner Kent

At first he has no concept of sexuality because he starts out when he broke out of the lab with the emotional mind of a toddler

As he "grows up" he learns more about sexuality it kinda confuses him and finds he's unlabeled

Sexuality is hella confusing for him because all his pre existing knowledge comes from Clark Kent and Lex Luther and it's not like he inherited their sexuality and he never got to grow up and experience life

He's one of the titans who isn't exactly out about their sexuality, but that's because he doesn't label himself and currently that's only a concern to komand'r

His girlfriend is unlabeled too for the same reasons as kori and Conner has the biggest himbo bi wife energy despite being the smartest human-ish alive

This is actually going to be a two parter because I went over the image limit. 😂💀

Starting off with the blorbo!!! @draal-the-deadly and @donkeyklone have both called DR!Merlin an oc, so I’d say he counts lol.

Charlie is also an oc now too?

My very first oc, formerly named Eleanora! She’s now just Eleanor.

I made these two while messing around with character designs, but I did come up with a little backstory for them.

The first lady is a blind noblewoman, and the second lady’s her bodyguard. They’re best friends!

Hildred, the first official oc I made in Artbreeder, and a knight of the round table!

Asheworthe, the starter villain of Emerald Embers! His full name is Kennard Osgar Asheworthe.

Egbert, another knight! He tends to be rather scared of magic.

Rachel, a coworker and friend of Barbara’s!

elsa fled to elias after her coronation. after a heated argument with her sister her powers were revealed to the citizens of corona.

since coming to elias she made friends with hades. elsa was unaware of his alliance with malfiencet. even when the monsters attacked she still sided with him finding a kinship in both of them being misunderstood. the god helped her with her powers. hades helped elsa realize there was beautiful in her magic not shame. she grew confident enough to remove her gloves.

her friendship with jack has also made her feel less alone in the world given his own ice powers.

her powers are still hidden from those she’s not close to. while elsa is more comfortable with her ice magic she still fears how others will react to her.

there is still so much she has yet to see and do after being hidden away for years. for the first time in her life she’s happy. as much as anna wants her to return to arendelle and be queen, elsa is content with the life she’s forging in elias.

since elsa was isolated for so many years and the gates of the kingdom were closed no one would know of her royal status unless they were royal themselves or lived in norway.

as for the mickey vs maleficent debate ??? because of her connection with hades ... girly might side with maleficent

tw: elsa’s past mentions parental death & trauma.

born on the winter solstice to king agnarr and queen iduna, Elsa, was gifted with magical powers—the ability to control ice and snow—as a reward for her mother’s heroism when saving agnarr when they were teenagers. these powers would not manifest until she was three. Iduna was unaware of the origins of Elsa’s powers, but believed that they were born out of love and thus a gift rather than a curse since she was born from the union of an Arendellian and a Northuldran. She accepted her daughter’s uniqueness and correctly believed that Elsa was a gift from the forest's spirits and born with her powers for a reason.

for years elsa used her powers mostly to entertain her younger sister anna. the two were close as can be. all was well until one night when elsa was merely eight years old she accidentally struck anna while playing with her. she struck anna in the head and knocked her out cold.

her parents sought help from the trolls. paddie, the shaman was able to cleanse anna of the magic, which included memories of elsa’s magic.

elsa was traumatized by the events. she almost killed her beloved sister. after that night elsa was locked away in her room to keep herself safe but also anna. her father gifted her gloves that helped suppressed her powers. that’s where her mantra “conceal, don’t feel, don’t let it show” came from. for years elsa was distanced from others but instead of powers getting under control suppressing them only made them more unruly.

despite wanting elsa to conceal her powers, agnarr was optimistic that his daughter’s would learn to control her powers. her isolation was only temporary, however, the king and queen would never see the day elsa left her room. on the way to the celebration of the return of the lost princess in corona, the king and queen died. their ship was sunk due to extreme weather. distraught by their death, elsa lost control of her powers. she didn’t attend their funeral and after that elsa further isolated herself from anna.

three years after their passing elsa came of age to become queen of arendelle. it was the first time the gates would open to the public. it was the first time elsa would interact with anyone outside of her parents since she was eight. it wasn’t just the kingdom of arendelle but other neighboring kingdoms.

the night was going well. elsa even reunited with anna. all the worries she had began to melt away that is until her sister asked for her blessing to marry prince hans of the southern isles. elsa insisted that anna could not marry a man she just met. the two begin to argue until elsa says the party is over and the gates be closed immediately. of course anna only continued to push which not only made elsa anxious she grew overwhelmed with frustration to the point she accidentally unleashed her powers on anna and the guests. horrified by what she had done and fearing how people would react to her, elsa fled arendelle until she found herself in a city called elias.

future !!

elsa hasn’t had her ‘let it go’ moment yet so i would like to see that. she’s grown more confident yes but she hasn’t let go of anything. she still harbors a lot of anxiety and has yet to let her powers be seen to the public.

in the future, i want elsa to find out about the enchanted forest and her being the fifth spirit. eventually she’d be called forth to Ahtohallan and have her show yourself moment.

she would discover the truth about her parents, her family’s past and ties to the enchanted forest and know that her parents did love her. she would want to help bridge the Northuldra and the Arendellians.

i want elsa to heal from her trauma and realize she is not the monster she believes she is. she was a mere child who should have been given guidance instead of hidden away. she didn’t know any better.

like in frozen 2, she would give arendelle over to anna and leave to protect the enchanted forest. there she would find a sense of self and freedom.

i would hope she mends her relationship with anna. her mother knew that if anyone could help elsa with her powers it was her sister. healing will allow her to create a family of her own and hopefully do better for her kids than what she was given.

Confessions of a Recovering Genre-phobic: The Beginning

Hey Whores, So are you ready for one of my many Sexy New Years Resolutions

I don't understand what the youth are listening these days and overall I find myself listening to the same old music over and over again. Granted my definetion of listening to the same 5 songs over and over again tends to be a bit more varied. Spotify says I only listened to 1,635 unique songs this year so clearly I need to pop my pussy harder.

Ultimately what that means is that I'm gonna start listening to albums again. Its something that I started in aug 2019 and corencidentally I have a list of albums from that exact year that I wrote down in my first bullet journal. And by a few I do mean exactly 175. I had consumed a few albums that year and so over the last couple weeks instead of properlly finishing my 2024 bullet journal I have copyied over the list onto one of my designated 'collections' pages which is what the BulJor community, (if they were famalier with its founder Ryder Carroll original ideas), call personified spreads like habit trackers and similar.

The first 104 albums have been written down, (so that I can randomly generate a album to listen to) which leaves 35 spaces for recommendations. you probably wonder what happened to the 71 other albums well half of those I listened to in augest of 2019 and the other half I listened to this month. Yeah over three weeks in december. I was kinda sad and maybe I listened to 3 or 4 albums a day sometimes because I could. and I am insane. we already knew this.

I'm gonna list out the albums I listened to this month in a moment but suffice to say that most were pretty basic. Some standouts would of course be Biggie Smalls, Barnes BLVD, The Hoosiers, Cake, and Jack Comte but I was already pretty big fans of them to begin with so its not a surprise that I found there albums exceptional. Overall it was a snapshot of what type of music I was listening to and was also coincedental taken line by line from my liked songs playlist on spotify at the time.

Looking over the list I have come to two conclusions. 1. I listened to a lot of twee ass music in 2019. Like I still Dark Cabernet and Amanda Palmer but like I had two MC Frontalot albums. I like a novelty song from time to time but theres a wide margin between the kind of silly folk stylings of the double-clicks and the deep ernestness of Nerd Rap. The energy and emphasis and making silly little jokes becomes tiring either that or I just am not a big Frontalot fan as I thought I was.

The Other is that my rating system sucks like why is so many of these albums rated 3/5 is every album I listen to that mid or do I just not have a strong sense of what makes a album exceptional or particular mediocre? Questions to be asked moving forward.

Does Haunted by Taylor Swift count because I have three different pairs of fictional characters from three different pieces of media that I associate it with?

It's just!!!! Define "many meanings!!!!" Does Crush by David Archuleta count because I associate it with a bunch of different ships and have to picture multifandom AMVs to it? Probably not, it's still essentially the same thing just multiple contexts. Does All Too Well by Taylor Swift count because I associate it both with events from my own life and very different events from a show I've watched? Or is two meanings not enough to count as "many"? Does Error by niki or at least Jubyphonic's english cover of it count because most of the lines I can interpret in multiple ways and relate to multiple specific experiences, or does it not count because all of those are still generally within one bigger thing in my mind? Does Are You Satisfied by Marina and the Diamonds count because I associate it with at least three very different fictional characters and it's different when applied to each of them or--

I saw that. :) From what I understand, Camilla has been doing this for a while with her reading room. I am in two minds about this - on the one hand, it is nice to see someone getting a bit of their own back. On the other hand, is this the behaviour I want to see in my future Princess Consort?

Just to be clear - I am not blaming anyone for enjoying the digs, as I enjoy them myself. I am just a bit concerned about what this indicates for her future behaviour as Princess Consort (the best predictor of future behaviour is past behaviour and all that). Her comments re President Biden are not helping the niggle of doubt I am feeling.

Bigotry in Entertainment

Cartoon Network -- cancelled Young Justice simple because more girls were watching it than boys and believed “only boys watch superhero movies”

Disney -- Told Jorge R. Gutierrez to change the protagonist of his now scrapped show from Mexican to white and to be more obedient; a number of the POC main lead (sans Moana and Raya) turned into animals for a majority of their movies, tried to trademark the name "Day of the Dead" which is an important cultural holiday for Hispanic and Latino people just to make money; drastically the true story of Pocahontas to make it more “kid friendly” (seriously, why couldn’t they just use a Native American princess from popular folklore or makeup one); use the term “gypsy”, a slur against Romani people in “The Hunchback of Notre Dame; made Merida from “Brave” skinnier instead of her usual size; didn’t allow FinnPoe to be canon or even FinnRey simply because the former was LGBT and they were more invested in the abusive Reylo ship (and let’s face it no way you try to spin it, their relationship is NOT healthy); drastically changed Finn in the Star Wars posters and the Black Panther posters apaprently to appease China (okay, I heard there were issues between China and Africa, but I’m not sure, so anyone who does know please tell me); their bullshit attempt to be both pro LGBT but only have nameless characters kiss or state their sexuality briefly; the fact they filmed Mulan 2020 in a concentration camp; and despite their so called attempt to be pro LGBT, many executives were very reluctant to have The Owl House’s lumity be canon; pulled the same bullshit with Gravity Falls a couple of years ago; Ryan Coogler or Chadwick Boseman (Im not sure which one said it) but they had to fight to have the traditional dance scene put in

Nickelodeon -- originally didn’t want Korra as the protagonist of TLOK simply because she was a girl, screwed around with the show’s schedule, and didn’t have korrasami happen more explicitly and NOW they want to act like they were all for it from the beginning; how they disrespected Steven Hillenburg by not following his wishes even after his death

DC -- they’re reason for not wanting a Wonder Woman movie was because it would be “too unrealistic”; the executives not wanting to Hippolyta’s wedding to another woman; back in the 80s(?) a hero from the Legion of Superheroes always wore a helmet and was going to be revealed to be black but the higher up denied it

Marvel -- make their originally darker skinned characters lighter skinned

Fox -- I’m sorry, I know it’s gonna make me sound bias and don’t read if you like Fox and I DO like some of their shows but I’m not going to ignore the fact that they can be do some subtly (or I guess not so subtly) bigoted moves against poc and LGBT

Other -- Issa Rae commented that other studios (not HBO I believe) would only pitch her story if the main character was either light skinned or white; the higher up originally wanted Rachel to become white in Crazy Rich Asians; a cosmetic (?) company that John Boyega was going to star in secretly replaced his family with a white one in order to apparently appease China, they tried to apologize to Boyega but he rightfully refused to deal with them anymore.

These companies give out shows that talk about how discrimination is wrong but continually do it just to make money. I know they’re a business but for God’s sake at least have a backbone and stick to these values you CLAIM to care about. If any of you want to clarify something in any of my examples or add some of your own, please be free to, but do NOT be disrespectful trolls
