I was honestly kinda taken aback that Weiss was so sad about the fall of Atlas, because…well, was it ever really a home to her?

It’s where she grew up, where she trained with Winter as a child. But it’s also where her father abused her and her mother neglected her, where her family’s legacy became the most twisted and where Weiss was miserable growing up.

I wonder if she would’ve mourned so much if she hadn’t had a few good months there with team RWBY most recently. The time where they lived at Atlas academy as a unit again after being reunited, where they became Huntresses and started hatching a plan. Yeah, the events of Volume 8 were terrible, but they were also like three days total.

I hope Weiss realizes the reason she felt at home wasn’t because she was in Atlas, but because she was with her team and her friends.

Extreme perfectionist wanted to reforge the entire world in her image, mainly because she thought there were too many imperfections in it

Guys! After RWBY announced that volume 9 will premiere on Crunchyroll, I went to go on Crunchyroll for the first time and wanted to rewatch the previous volumes to prep for volume 9. BUT!!!! I’ve learned that I couldn’t get English subtitles working on the English video. Captions/subtitles are extremely important for Deaf and Hard of Hearing people who can understand better while watching! Please share and tell CRWBY about this before volume 9 is released or they’ll lose the number of disabled viewers who love RWBY.
