CHENFORD IN EVERY EPISODE: 6.03 “Trouble in Paradise” "There is definitely no prize for coming in last. But I'm pretty sure there's a prize for coming in 17th."

Sometimes out of nowhere it downs on me how we basically bullied Eric and Melissa into using Chenford as a ship name and now Tucy is dead forever LMAO

Lucy really told West “it sucks your T.O. can’t finish training you because of their promotion” knowing full well HER T.O. chose her over HIS promotion

The Rookie 1x16
First thoughts.
-John moving on with Jessica and Lucy being genuinely happy for him, with no lingering romantic feelings, is one more reason why they are best as friends.
-Another two friendships I appreciate are the one between Lucy/John/Jackson (I miss them just hanging out together and having fun) and the other between Angela/Jackson. She opens up to him and although she is his T.O. still confides in him and partly listens to what he says.
-Angela and Wesley reaching out to each other in their own way made my heart melt. She cares about him and he doesn't want to lose her.
-John getting shot at came literally out of the blue.
-I still can't like Talia. Especially in this episode, she was the last to stand for him on the call room, she told John he came to work because of his ego (like literally John is the least egoistic character), she said that he shouldn't make the captain's death about him (which he wasn't and his feeling guilty is completely justified) and then she objected when Grey told him to arrest her killer. What is her problem? Why can't she be supportive?
On the chenford front we didn't get much content but there were a few important scenes between them. Lucy isn't afraid to question her T.O.and make up her own mind about situations Lucy saved Tim from Murphy using work as a cover (she knows how to stir him away) and stood her ground when Murphy told her to ask for another T.O. Instead of either Talia or Angela, Lucy was the first to reach out to him after he confronted Murphy. And their little talk about grief and dealing with it was a heartwarming moment.
Not a chenford scene but I would like to mention that Tim was the first to stand when John showed up to work and that small show of respect meant a lot.
Captain Andersen's death came literally out of nowhere. I was certain that she and John would both survive with a few bruises and scrapes but down the line they would be fine. She did everything she could to save both of them and dying from literally a (un)lucky shot was devastating. The way John held her was heartbreaking. She was a positive influence in everyone's life from the sergeant, to the T.O.s even to the rookies.
She will be missed.
